Problem:


This is a follow-up complaint report for a refund not received by this business owner in response to a prior Revdex.com case. I ordered 12 plates from their online site and returned them months ago yet the refund of $432 has yet to be received on my credit card, as originally promised. I have waited long enough and it is now beyond a respectable business processing time frame. (I had processed a previous claim in 2/14; closed in 5/14 on this same business to request a pre-paid return label and refund.)

I sent an e-mailed to customer service "Contact Us Form" inquiring about my order.12/13/13 I received a reply from [redacted] order to be shipped in Tuesday.01/2/14 I called customer service - mail box full. They will credit my account and contact Dinnerware Etc.Desired Settlement: To send all merchandize back at their cost.

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and find that this resolution is somewhat satisfactory to me. I have received the UPS return label and returned the merchandise to Dinnerware Etc.com. I feel [redacted] has no regard for customers who have problems. It took the Revdex.com to solve my problem, along with having to dispute the charge with my credit card company. [redacted] should be more aware of his customer service mail box. It should never be full! When I find a place to rate Dinnerware Etc.com, customer service and packaging will get 0 (zero) stars. Thank you for your help.

Review: I ordered product; when I received it, it was incorrect, wrong size. I called about eight times over a week to their customer service number, e-mailed their customer service and even called sales (who said she couldn't help), looking for a return authorization number. My credit card has the charge on hold, and even they could not get through to the company.Desired Settlement: Refund, plus the public should be notified not to do business with this company, as they will not take customer service calls or emails.Thank you.

Review: I ordered three (3) pieces of Villeroy & Boch china on July 5,2014 via the website. Order #[redacted]. I received the three pieces on July 22 and found one of the pieces to be cracked (Item # 14-8392-2904). I notified the company and asked for either a replacement or refund. They will not reply to my numerous requests.Desired Settlement: OR refund.

Review: I have registered with Dinnerware etc for my upcoming wedding. In mid February, I noticed that the link to access my registry was not working. I contacted Customer Service via phone for a couple days, but no one picked up. On February 17, I decided to email the customer service team about the issue. I received an email response from [redacted] Widener on February 18, assuring me the link issue would be fixed by February 20. Alas, I checked the webiste on February 21, and it still did not work. I called Dinnerware etc on February 24 and spoke to [redacted]. He said the link would by fixed by the end of the day on February 24. On February 26, March 2, 3, 4, and 5 I have written emails asking for an update with no response. I have called the Dinnerware etc hotline multiple times over the past week, and not only has no one picked up, but the voicemail is full so I am unable to communicate with anyone. This is unbelievably frustrating and disrespectful for a customer.Desired Settlement: I would like someone from Dinnerware etc to contact me to explain the situation, apologize, provide me with a list of my registry items, and shut down my registry. I have already decided to pull all of my gifts from their website, but I need a list of what I had registered for so that I can move the gifts elsewhere.

I have replied to the customer directly. Obviously they have not received. Unfortunately, we used a third party vendor for our registry and they decided to shut down without notice and not provide any further information to us. We are trying to establish an in house program now to avoid this situation in the future. Unfortunately, we cannot retrieve any of the registry information.

Review: I placed the order on September 8.I It has not arrived. I am not able to contact them by email or by phone. No one answers the phone and I have called many times. And I received two emails in regard to on online query/complaint I did and both of them were blank in relevant fields and clicking on links produced error messages.

I have reported them to VISA.

I want the charge cancelled and nothing further to do with this company.

Too late - after I ordered - I looked at their reputation online, including on your website. It is terrible.

Plus the links on their website - for example to Facebook - don't work. This is not a characteristic of a legitimate business.Desired Settlement: I don't want anything more to do with them. I want the charge cancelled on my VISA card and I want to be sure this has happened (your word and the word of my bank)

Unresponsive supplier. Placed an order over 3 weeks ago on their web site and paid for the goods by PayPal at the checkout. Tried to contact the Dinnerware Etc by email, phone and PayPal inquiry to find out a shipping date. No response at all from the seller after 22 days.

Review: I received a wedding present from Dinnerware Etc. in early March 2014. The gift giver's name was not included in the package which meant that I would not be able to write a thank you note. Additionally, the packing slip listed two brass candlesticks and I received one pewter and one brass. I called customer service nine times in late April and early May. I also filled out the online contact form, twice. I finally called the sales department and someone answered and said that I would receive an email from customer service. Finally, on May 14th I received an email saying that they did not have an order from me. I responded within an hour giving them all of the information on the packing slip including the order # and item #. I also explained that every time I called the customer service department the mailbox was full. As of today, May 27, 2014, I have still not received a response with sender's last name or a way to return the incorrect candlestick.Desired Settlement: I would like for Dinnerware Etc. to provide me with the purchaser's name and I would like for them to send me the correct candlestick as described in the order.

Review: I ordered several dinnerware items on August 3, 2015. Dinnerwareetc processed my online payment shortly thereafter, but two months later, has not shipped the products nor contacted me in any way. I emailed the company through its website a week ago and have gotten no response. I called its customer service number but there is no answer and the mailbox is full.

I've researched the company online and it appears there are many similar complaints against this company -- non-shipment of orders and no response from website/email/phone inquiries.Desired Settlement: I would like prompt delivery of my order, and if that is not possible, then a prompt refund of my full payment.

Review: On the 7th of September I ordered approx. $108 of Villeroy and Boch Switch 3 dinnerware. I received an email confirmation of my order but never received a tracking number or any other correspondence. At approx. 4:30 a.m. today I wrote to them and received an automated response that they had received this email that I had just sent. I tried calling both the Delaware number and the 877 area code and was never able to speak with anyone. All I heard was the greeting for the company. One time I called and I wanted to leave a message but I was told by automated response that the box was full (probably everybody else leaving messages with a similar problem as mine). I called again and punched "1" for placing an order, feeling that I could at least speak with a real person and I was told nobody was available to take my call.Desired Settlement: I think this is a scam and they should be prosecuted.

Horrible customer service! I ordered 5 plates -- 3 dinner, 2 salad -- to complete my set. Instead Dinnerware Etc shipped me 5 dinner plates. I contacted them and was told they would ship the missing 2 salad plates at no charge. A month went by -- no salad plates. I contacted them AGAIN and was again told they would ship the missing 2 salad plates. A month went by -- no salad plates. This cycle has continued for 1 1/2 years. And now my plates are discontinued and unavailable. I have been contacting customer service for a credit to my credit card for the plates I never received -- nothing. Terrible experience.

Review: 12/03/13 I place an order for two Wedgewood White Dinner Plates 10.75" (SKU# 0-01054-1004) for $ 45.00 plus $9.95 shipping and handling. Order # 69942 was shipped and billed to [redacted]. On December 19, 2013 I received two Wedgewood Nantucket Basket 10.75" dinner plates even though the accompanying packing slip said "two Wedgewood White 10.75” dinner plates SKU# 0-01054-1004". I immediately emailed them with my problem and the customer service rep wrote that he would send me a UPS return label and ship the correct order. I have not received anything since and the customer service rep does not respond to any of my numerous emails. On at least 10 occasions I attempted to call customer service at 877-777-8140 and was redirected to a full mailbox. Twice I left a voice message and no response. I then called the order department numerous times, explained my problem, and the representatives took my information and said they would send it to customer service No response. Each time I have asked to be contacted by phone or email but have received no response.Desired Settlement: To receive the merchandise I ordered and paid for, and receive a UPS return label to ship back the incorrect merchandise at their cost.

Review: I ordered a mug from this company via the Internet. I immediately found a better price and sought within 15 minutes of placing the order to rescind my order. I immediately called the 800-customer service number left a phone message explaining this matter. I left an additional phone message within three hours of the first message, and sent an email message explaining I wanted to cancel the order and explaining the problem. No one from the company called me and the company proceeded with filling and shipping my order. Only after I received an email message stating that the order was shipped did the company respond by email stating that I could refuse the package when it was delivered by UPS. UPS then delivered the package to my neighbor's house instead of mine and I was therefore unable to refuse delivery. Now UPS states that I cannot refuse/return the package (contrary to what it states on the UPS website) and the shipper must initiate a request for the package to be returned and picked up. I have again tried to reach Dinnerwareetc. by telephone and, again, Dinnerwareetc. does not answer their customer service number...the mailbox is full. The people who are taking orders for Dinnerwareetc. said they have received many calls about customer service but they are unable to provide assistance.Desired Settlement: I would like to have a full refund of the payment price and the shipping price for this item and have UPS pick up the package from my door.
