Please confirm that this consumer has been driving a company owned vehicle, the entire time the unit has been in repair Upon inspection for repair, Dixie Imports found and subsequently offered to do additional work on problems that were found (gratis) and customer agreed that she would like for Dixie Imports to do the additional repair (gratis) This may explain the length of time the unit has been in or possession while she safely drives a company car The reason *** didn't know where the car is, because he does not oversee service on vehicles We anticipate this unit to be fixed today and will contact this consumer upon completion of repairs

A refund check was mailed to *** *** on Tuesday, April 28, *** * Tracking # *** *** ***Ms*** was called and we were unable to reach her to tell her this informationTherefore, a copy of the *** * tracking lsip was emailed to Ms***

This particular unit was purchased from the auction. When Dixie Imports ran ***' (vehicle history report) for this unit, it was learned that there was a significant mileage discrepancy that Dixie Imports was not previously aware of. Our office clerk advertised the unit at
a certain price, unaware of mileage discrepancy. When the sale was in the final stages, the customer raised an issue about the price. Management notified the customer that BY LAW, we were unable to sell him this particular unit until we resolve the issue with the auction. At that point, the customer became very upset, claiming it was a lie. It was not a lie. Additionally, Dixie Imports showed the credit card payment he made was actually declined through our machine Customer stated his bank said it went through. We understand mistakes happen and the customer was told we would then contact our bank for details of this transaction because the problem must be on our side if his bank shows cleared on his. Although we had no proof of the payment clearing, we offered to put $on the customer's card. He refused the credit card reimbursement method and said he would only accept cash Like most businesses, Dixie Imports always reimburse in the same method payment is received. Dixie Imports has gotten in touch with the auction and is process of resolving the mileage discrepancy issueOnce resolved, we invite this customer to return or contact us regarding the sale of this unit, if it still available

Business response is "This vehicle was bought on February 20, This has been a little over months agoCustomer bought vehicle AS-IS. Any maintenance that needs to
be done is done by customer not the dealershipI have attached a copy of the Buyers Guide that was signed by Ms***."

Mrs *** my name is *** *** and I have taken over as GM at both Dixie Imports and Dixie Motors I would like to see what I can do to resolve this
matterplease feel free to respond back so we can put this behind us and in the near future help you with your car purchaseThank you for your time

Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ***, and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear belowCustomer was not discriminated againstHer salesperson was also African AmericanI have attached the paystub along with the notes from *** *** *** as to the reason this deal could not be fundedThis deal has been forwarded to our attorney in the matter of fraudulent paystubs
Thank You, *** ***
First of all just because a salesperson is black does not mean they do not discriminate against one anotherI am mixed, therefore that statement is a very uneducated oneSecond of all like I told the Manager I changed jobsLike there is so much missing from the contract that is also missing from her statementWhoever *** *** is was not there and I didn't interact with her at all or she didn't introduce herselfThe point of the matter is I've done my research and this business is operating in the wrong matterAccording to Consumer Protection Laws the dealership failed to obtain certificate of title in the name of the purchaser (*** ***) on or before the 40th day of sale Dixon Imports, INC accepted a trade in contingent upon financing being arrangedThe trahas been held hostage by Dixie ImportsI have proof that I was told the car would be available for pickup on 10/01/and it was "ON VACATION WITH A SALESMAN"I have text messages from *** Henry stating I was not trying to keep the car I just wanted my trade in and title backIn violation of R.Cthe Cadillac was repossessed on the night of 9/28/In violation of R.C1317.12, Dixie Imports failed to send out a notice constituting a default which there isn't one because there is no financing on the carUnder O.A.C109:4-3-they failed to provide me at the time of trastating cl***y and conspicuously under what conditions I was able to get my trade in back.
When I contacted *** ***, on 9/15/16, I was told that I would receive something within days of the financing falling through, I never received that paperworkI was also told by management at *** *** that they have no records of the car I was trying to finance or meAt this point I have lost a car because I have no transportation and because Dixie Imports transfered the Mississippi title over to the dealership they are giving me the runaround about getting that car backI am asking for my car back, like I said I have proof that they stated they will give the car back and no one has honored that statement a Dixie Imports yetWhen my Husband called and asked about the car on 10/3/the lady that answered the phone laughedI don't see what is so funny about stealing a persons carI have been very reasonable and patientI have a witness that was on the phone when I took the Cadillac back to the lot to pick up my Chrysler and *** asked me where I was working so that he could go ahead and keep me in the carI have been laughed at, hung up on, and left on the phone line when calling to inquire about my Chrysler and the best response or defense they have about this whole wrong ordeal is a statement about "fraudulent stubs" which was cleared up due to another jobIt's not right and I'm only asking for my car back, my only vehicle, so that I can go to workI had an emergency and missed my Mom having major surgery in MississippiThis is a very stressful situation all because they are trying to find loop holds to keep the car that I ownI don't see a lawyer stating what they did was right after all the violations I listed above.

Not worth the trip at all#Worst zoo my family and I have ever been toThe Oryx appeared to be in an enclosure completely alone, as a herd animal it looked very lonelyAll of the animals looked bored out of their minds, especially the tigers and Black Leopard (who was kept in an enclosure no bigger than a small roomSome of the animals listed on the site, weren't even there, including the African LeopardI have never seen such a HORRIBLE, CRUEL enclosure for tigers in my lifeThe were in a small-medium size fenced in area of dry dirtThat's itThere was no green in sight, no plants, no toys, no climbing structures, no big rocks to lay on, no pools (tigers love water), nothingThey were kept in a dry dirt squareThe fence was surrounded by an electric fence on the inside, so all they did was pace back and forth, keeping their distance from the fenceThe staff was very nice but that does nothing to make up for the terrible enclosuresI hope that they change the enclosures to more appropriate, natural versionsWe came because based on the pictures, it looked very open for the animals and naturalI've never been more wrongNot coming back and not recommending it to anyoneI truly pity those animalsI will try to add photos soon
On the website it says "The habitats are designed to mimic the animal's natural environment." Ha! I don't think so

Revdex.com:I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to
complaint ID ***, and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below. The business did contact me to offer me $*** off of the purchase price of the vehicleI have called Dixie Imports evry day since Monday and each time was told someone would call me backThat has yet to happenToday I called x and on my last call spoke to *** (who sold me the vehicle) and asked him to speak to a managerHe said that the manager was in a meeting and would be ut by 6:pm and to call backI just called again ( 12th x this week) and was told that the Mangager *** was gone for the day and that my best bet was to come to the business and try to speak to himIF I HAD A VEHICLE TO GET THEIR I WOULD!
I have now missed days of work and continue to get the run around from **. Obviously this business is not in the customer service business and they do not wish to speak to anyone regarding their shady business practices
I respectfully reject the offer as I am not a mechanic and the part itself is $*** and will cost me $*** to have it replaced (not including the cost to tow the vehicle to the mechanic)
My suggestion is that Dixie Imports either picks the vehicle up, replaces the defective part and calls me within days of picking up the vehicle to tell me that the work is complete and the vehicle is ready for pick up (IN WORKING CONDITION) orThey can accept the vehicle back and replace it with a differnt RUNNING vehicle within he same price range with a $*** discount for their shotty business practices

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ***, and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below. The issues with the car have not been taking care ofI have not heard a single call from Dixie Imports Incon this issueI would like for them to take the car back and give me a newer car for several thousand dollars more than what mine is worth for no extra chargeI have not fixed anything on the car because it will not be worth doing so because the value to what the car is worth to how much I have paid would be to muchDixie Imports has never taken full responsibility for anything that was supposed to be fixedI will never recommend anyone to purchase a car from themI had never been back up their for any repairs or serviceI have never gotten any response from them since I have filed the claimWith that being said their response, "Please accept our apology for the delay in responding. Pursuant to this complaint filed June 11, 2014, this unit has indeed been completely repaired by Dixie Imports, Inc. Customer has returned to Dixie Imports, Incand stated he was satisfied with the repairHe has since thanked Dixie Imports for taking care of the reported issues, as they were brought to our attention. Dixie Imports, Inc. has closed our file on *** ***'s complaint." had never happen there for as a business has lied to the Revdex.com itself should say what kind of business they are and that the all mighty dollar is what they care aboutNot the people who spend it and that may continue spending it at their dealership.

The vehicle was purchased by *** husband and not herWe verified that he was a signer on the accountOur credit card machine was down the day the card was swiped. This was a downpayment for a purchase of a vehicleAs far as her concerns that we will run the card againWe no
longer have her card information as it had been shredded as promised to her husband

*** *** purchased a Ford Taurus from Dixie Imports, Inc on 05/02/I have attached a copy of the contract that was signed by herThis was supposed to be a day
same as cash, which means you pay it off within days with no interestAs stated in the contract there was payments to be made of $5,Which would have put the payoff date on 7/01/I have attached her payment history also showing that she was not keeping with the payment schedule. *** is not the one in charge of repossessionsOur attorney sends any repossessed customer a letter telling them what the process is for recovering said repossessed vehicleWhen she called *** she was contacting him at 10:00 at night via text, where he told her she was not in charge of repossessions and he does not know what is said in letter that if she has questions to contact the attorney that sent her the letterI have also attached a copy of repossession order showing that we worked with *** *** above and beyond the actual date the vehicle was supposed to be paid off. If you have any questions please contact me at the number listed below or e-mail

I have reviewed the response made by the business
in reference to complaint ID ***, and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear belowTo date the business has only sent the vehicle title and tax checkI have now registered my vehicle, but the company has done nothing to address the fact that they falsified documents and took cash under the table that I paid to go toward the down payment on the vehicleThe contract I have signed is different from the contract the lender hasI have been overcharged on taxes and registration, and I have also been charged for a warranty I did not agree toThe company has not responded to the last email I sent regarding the falsification of documents and request for them to make it right.

I purchased a van from Dixie Imports, the van had lights on showing mechanical and brakes I asked them to fix the issues with the van before we purchased it They assured me that it just needed maintenance done like oil change, tune up, and brake pads They refused to do any work on it until I purchased the vehicle I did this by paying a large amount in cash and taking out a small loan They told me to come back in hours and they would have the van ready for me I came back they told me the van was ready to go We tried to drive the van and it was slowing down when I was trying to accelerate We found that the van had a bad transmission They told me that they would have it fixed for me in days and they would call me when it was done days go by and no phone call I called them they said that they tried to put a transmission module on it but that was not it so they have to put an entire new transmission on it At this time I am very upset because it has been almost days since I purchased a vehicle I have never even driven home! I asked them if I could rewind the loan and get my money back and just purchase a different vehicle They told me yes, but I would have to come back on a Monday to do this I took off work the following Monday and came to the dealership, the manager Earl took me in the office closed the door and said, sorry he made a mistake and he could not rewind the loan because too much time had passed since we purchased the van I was furious by this time, it had been days since I purchased a vehicle I never even drove home I yelled at the manager and told him how I did not appreciate all the lies told me He then said he would give me a rental while my van was being fixed Finally a lot of calls and complaints later I got my van back I believe they did fix the transmission but now a belt is squeaking From the date of purchase it took about days to actually drive my van home I will never do business with this dealership again and I would warn others against them If you purchase something from them make sure it is in full working order and don't believe anything they say Customer service is the worst also I never once received a phone call back from Earl the manager or Nina the sales lady I found them both very rude and they both said promises that they did not keep

I highly recommend this dealership to anyone in the market for a car. I started my search with a specific vehicle in mind and the sales person [redacted] was very helpful getting me in to vehicle I wanted. The sales, finance, service staff were all top notch! So much so that Ive already made plans to buy a 2nd vehicle from them.
