I wouldn't recommend anyone to purchase a vehicle from these crooks. The prices for their cars are too much for what the car is worth. And, they don't let you know what is wrong with the used vehicle before buying.

If Ms. [redacted] has a Due Bill from Dixie Imports, please advise her to review the Due Bill. A customer has 30 days from the date of purchase to have any agreed upon work, completed.

Went here to buy a car and ended up buying 2 car's they was great to deal with

This young man purchased a 1996 [redacted] for an 'as is' cash price of $[redacted].   As I'm certain Mr. [redacted]'s mother and step mother,who have been overseeing Mr. [redacted]'s complaint, realize that 'as is' truly means 'AS IS'.  That said however, when the complaint was presented to Dixie Imports, we didn't like hearing that there was a problem so quick;y and therefore, as a thank you for making a purchase at Dixie Imports, we reached out to help him any way we could.   We offered Mr. [redacted] off of the purchase price, that which he also accepted as an agreed upon amount.   The fact he did not take it to a mechanic until after he agreed to the discount, Dixie Imports does not feel it's responsible for.  Dixie Imports in fact was not obligated to make any kind of offer to help this young man, but we did and he graciously accepted.  Dixie Imports considers this matter closed,  as this customer has received over and above what Dixie Imports was contracturally obligated to provide.  We are sorry that there are issues with this 18 year old vehicle that Mr. [redacted] test drove, and ultimately chose to purchase on an 'as is' basis.  Dixie Imports sells used vehicles and although we are not a full service mechanical repair shop, we would be happy to refer him the the automotive shop that does handle moderate to heavy repair for Dixie Imports.

in fact my car was never dropped off the man name [redacted] got my car tolled from my home I couldn't even drive my car to the dealership the contract that I have states that they will fix whatever is wrong with my car if its listed and my engine was listed it also states that I can get a rental car up to 40 dollars a day all I would have to do is send a invoice and I would be reimburse September 23rd is when me and my father went up there and because of how rude earl was speaking Adam called us in his office and he told us he would take care of everything he told us to go to the enterprise get a rental car and come right back and he would reimburse me because he know the man that owns asc warranty so he know for a fact he would get his money back I ended up not being old enough to even rent the car and that is when Adam stated that he would get me a loaner car and to come back tomorrow at 11am

As mentioned in the first response, when the ad was posted, Dixie Imports was not previously aware of the mileage discrepancy. The mileage discrepancy was only learned when the customer came in to see the unit that it was discovered.  Please re-read the initial response.  The argument became very heated and therefore, all activity was stopped by the owner and the sale of the vehicle to this consumer (or ANY consumer for that matter) was ceased immediately by the owner, until the auction where the unit was purchased, could be contacted and the issue resolved with them.   Dixie Imports is sorry that the clerk who posted the ad, had the incorrect mileage when the ad was placed.

Thank you for your response.  Upon learning of this complaint, Ms. [redacted] was initially contacted by Sales Manager, [redacted], who is the manager of the main location located AT 4597 Dixie Highway Fairfield OH 45014.  Dixie Imports has two locations, and the sale of this unit took place at our newest location at 5210 Dixie Highway in Fairfield OH.  Mr. [redacted] notified Ms. [redacted] that the employee who sold the vehicle to her on January 29, 2015, was in fact terminated.  Mr. [redacted] was terminated on or about March 9th, 2015,  for dereliction of duty, among other various reason.   Mr. [redacted] is subsequently being pursued legally by Dixie Imports for criminally negligent behavior such as in this case, where documents were allegedly forged, and therefore we ask this consumer to  watch for a likely subpoena from the Butler County Courts as well as the Attorney representing Dixie Imports, Inc. in this matter.   With regard to Ms. [redacted]'s complaint of 'taking cash under the table' for her down payment, a receipt for $2.,000.00 is found in our receipt book dated 1.29.15.  If this is the same amount that Ms. [redacted] references in her complaint, then we respectfully request that Ms. [redacted] make consideration that whoever the monies were given to that same day (likely Mr. [redacted] as well), had physically placed the money in his pocket at the time of transaction. However, $2,000.00 was in fact reported to another member of the management team and receipted into our daily log. With regard to the warranty that Ms. [redacted] claims to have not agreed to, Dixie Imports will need for Ms. [redacted]  to physically come to the North lot (main location) located at 4597 Dixie Highway in Fairfield OH 45014, so that she may sign an order of rescision for the warranty so that Dixie Imports may reimburse the lender, [redacted]. 
Again & lastly, Dixie Imports kindly ask Ms. [redacted] to stop in at her earliest convenience to speak with [redacted] regarding this account and provide her signature so that we may begin the refund process and rectifying this less than desirable situation (for all).   This has certainly been an embarrassment to the company and its representing employees.   Ms. [redacted] CHOSE to do business with Dixie Imports which is so much appreciated.  Dixie Imports is only hopeful that this customer will not allow one rogue employee to be the reflection of the entire company. The very least we can do is apologize to Ms. [redacted] for all of the inconvenience and problematic issues that may have arisen beyond what is reported herein and since the date of this complaint.  In the interim, please do not hesitate to call us at ###-###-#### if any questions prior to coming in to Dixie Imports.

Dixie imports was aware of frame damage, did not disclose information to me when purchasing vehicle. The fact that they were aware of this issue but yet still sold a car with frame damage is unethical. Should have consequences. I would like to have my deposit of $1000 back, should not be selling cars to anyone. They are selling damaged and dangerous vehicles to people.

This customer has been in touch with the Sales Manager since yesterday and as we speak, this customer is on her way now to pick up her vehicle as it has been repaired beyond the 'Due Bill' expectations. 
Although the customer believes it took 2 hours to bring her a company owned car because sales staff was eating breakfast,  the service department is actually responsible to deliver the customer a vehicle in the unfortunate event that Dixie Imports may need the car for a longer than expected period of time.  The service department does not work in the showroom nor eat breakfast in the showroom, but instead, are servicing vehicles at 3 different locations.  Indeed, Dixie Imports is a very busy used car dealership and arguably, the busiest on Route 4.  I'm sorry this customer felt it was due to breakfast that delivering a company car wasn't immediate.  Once again, Dixie Imports went above and beyond in providing her a car.  Allowing a customer to drive a company car was not part of the 'Due Bill'.  In fact, most customers must obtain a ride home once the car is dropped off, and must wait until the vehicle is repaired, or chose to get a rental with their own money.  Neither of these were the case for this customer. 
 
Dixie Imports has more than serviced this customer's complaint, repaired  her vehicle's problems,  as well as gone beyond the contractural agreement, in order to facilitate a 'more than happy' customer.  Today, she seems unfortunately, MORE unhappy than before.  We apologize that this customer is not satisfied, but Dixie Imports is confident we have given her everything and more, than was requested of us.  We are hopeful things will begin to settle for her once she receives her vehicle back today.  
 
We do consider this matter closed as our contractural obligation had indeed been fulfilled. Please advise.

Since the date of [redacted] response, this issue has been resolved. [redacted] was contacted after this complaint and her car was serviced, and as she requested, she was paid for the part for the spare tire instead of having it repaired by Dixie...

3rd day after purchase alternator failed. Had car towed as they said they would "make it right" found out an older model alternator has been installed.
Have been told twice the title was mailed, (1-5) must have been lost go to the [redacted] and get a replacement. On 2nd trip to [redacted] found out title still not transferred and was just put in their name on 1-6 as of 1-16 still no title, still in their name. Manager stated he would deliver on Sun. no call no contact no delivery. On Monday 1-19 drove to dealership was again told title was being mailed, temp tags expire 1-20. Son purchased vehicle and has returned to service in Camp [redacted] or this would be returned. Cannot believe they remain in business.

Please accept our sincere apology for the delay in responding to this complaint Pursuant to this complaint filed March 11, 2014, I have contacted "[redacted] Warranty" who is the company providing the warranty to [redacted] on this 07 GMC Yukon.
I called [redacted] Warranty CD (800) 442-7116 who states they paid 2 claims to the repair company, [redacted] Pt,4e Chevrolet ([redacted] states that Is what the name looks like in the computer system), Both checks were written the same day, March 17, 2014. First payment was for 'Manual Switches In the amount of $18930 and the second check was for Transmission Repair' in the amount of $1,011.68. Total paid under this warranty was $1,200,98, Lastly, according to [redacted] at [redacted] Warranty, there has been no activity on this file since March 17'", when they paid out the claim for [redacted].
At this time, Dixie Imports, Inc. has closed our file on [redacted] complaint.
