RE: Complaint [redacted]To whom it may concern:VEHICLE WAS SOLD AS S. Customer test drove the vehicle and loved it and there was no complaints at the time of purchase.Thank You,

I don’t want Dixie Motors to commit to just only replacing the head gasket and the engine still not running properly. I want them to commit to not only replacing the head gasket but if needed, replacing the engine block if it’s cracked. The Chevrolet dealer said it could be either or both. Dixie Motors can say that I only agreed for them to replace the head gasket and nothing else, and that they’ve satisfied this complaint. Dixie Motors should also be more detailed & provide information in what they’ll do to resolve this complaint along with providing me with a contact & phone number so I can arrange to bring car in.

Can you bring it by so I can see what the problems are

To Whom It May Concern We here at Dixie Motors understand the customer's concerns. When her vehicle was here for repairs we provided her with a loaner vehicle so she was not inconvienced without a car to drive. We brought her vehicle in to our repair shop and addressed her concerns on the running of the vehicle. She since had her vehicle back for several months and now we are getting this complaint. She never contacted the dealership back after she got it back,to say the items were not fixed. I believe we did everything possible to help get this matter resolved. And as far as her warranty being up in May of 2016 I am attaching the warranty contract that shows her warranty is good until 12/19/2018 or 156,426 miles. This warranty does cover alot of items, but no warranty will cover everything.

[To assist us in bringing this matter to a close, we would like to know your view on the matter.]The matter of providing a loaner vehicle while they were repairing my vehicle, is not a factor in the fact, that they said they were going to fix items, then said they were repaired, which they were not.  I provided documented proof of RUSTED sparkplugs, which take time to rust, doesn’t happen overnight.  They said they fixed the vehicle by giving it a tune up, fixing the issues with the check engine light, and the items on the driver’s door.  They did fix the items on the driver’s door, which have stopped working again, so I question what was really done.   They did not do a tune up and they stated.  I did call Kyle back after I got the vehicle back from repairs, he told me to take it over and see what is still wrong with it.  I did take it to Stanley and they informed me that half of the items that said were done were not.   I went to file a complaint, I am tired of wasting my time and driving back and forth to get lied to about what repairs were done.   I would like to see their proof of what they repaired when they had this vehicle for over two weeks.  [redacted] is saying that it wasn’t done and they took pictures.  What proof do Dixie Motors have?

When would you like to bring it buy so I can have them take a look at it

Revdex.com:
I want my engine, battery and alternator looked at. NOW the tires are jerking to the left and the steering wheel is shaking which tells me it needs an alignment.  The wires literally have to be taped to a side bar for the car to even start. That is not normal. That is not a "oh its not under warranty" statement to be accepted. IF I had known about these issues I would have looked at another car.

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint.  I was not satisfied when I left the lot after speaking with your associate (dark hair man) and asked him if it were normal to glue on items to "fix" them. He advised me to contact [redacted] since he was the person who sold me the car. My daughters boyfriend was with me as a witness to this answer given by your associate. I had no intentions of speaking with [redacted] considering that the fixes were half-assed cosmetic fixes. Gluing on items? Absurd. The motor issues occurred after my visit. Those issues were sent in Email and were ignored. I have included pictures of the door handle where you can see it pulling off, the mirror which has a cracked frame with glue on it and also the mirror is non movable. I also included a picture of the wires in the motor that MUST be taped back or the car does not even start. It still does not start on occasion. So your response to me is you have not heard from me so the issues must not be real? They are very real and your response should be to fix them NOT to attempt to make it seem like the issues are minimal. Your answer is unsatisfactory and I want my car FIXED PROPERLY or a replacement considering I am paying for this car and it is FAULTY! I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.I only test drove the vehicle around the neighborhood 1 time then I got a loan to pay for the vehicle and the 2nd time I drove the vehicle was the day I picked up the vehicle.  Once I left the dealership the vehicle would not go over 2nd shift, I have problems steering it as I think the power steering is also not working or on it's way out.  I called the dealership 10 minutes after I left and immediately was placed on hold, when I tried to call back no one answered and I was still in Cincinnati, Ohio as I could not get on the highway with the vehicle.  The dealership is now stating that the warranty company is responsible for the repairs and the warranty company is stating they will not cover the repairs.  I have to start making my car payment on November 26, 2016.  I am already out $300 for a transmission that I had to buy, I have to wait until I get paid again to get someone to put it in and I do not have the cost for that yet and the power steering is going out.  I really feel this is unfair.  If the dealership did not know there was something wrong with t his vehicle it has to be because they never checked it out before I purchased it.  I really think this is unfair.  I am 20 years old and am a car washer at a dealership.  I just  needed some reliable to and from working and feel I have been taken advantage of by the dealership and the warranty company.  The vehicle is not able to be driven until the repairs are complete and I have to make car payments now and car insurance.  I am trying to make a honest living and am suppose to start college. This is very frustrating and insulting.

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.I had a conversation with [redacted] the ‘GM’ at Dixie Motors after 10am today on 1/25/2017. I told [redacted] I could come in anytime today to discuss what would be done to resolve the complaint. He said it would not be necessary and has agreed to have a tow truck pick car up from my home today and will start the process to resolve. Whether it’s to make repairs, replace engine, or exchange car, I do not know yet. He will get back with me once they have the car in their possession to check out. So for now I will not accept yet until I am satisfied with, and get an agreement in writing that is fulfilled to my satisfaction.
