D.I.Y. Neurocare of America Reviews (108)

When I was 24 years old I was in a life changing car accident and I was rear ended and I hit into the car in front of me. I went through physical therapy and my neck has always been a hindrance but was able to work. For the last 10 years is when the troubles started with my back. Over the years I went in for injections into my spine and main nerves. I also went to see a chiropractor and it helped a little but it took a long long time and he did treatments for about a year. I worked in dialysis for 13 years. My hands were literally everything in my job. I also noticed I had issues in my feet but to me it was more important that my hands worked and the pain was gone. I had stabbing pain in lower back, in my groin and it was like my back was being crushed. The pain in my groin was a pulling sharp pain. My hands felt like they are tight and swollen alot but stiff and achy and I fumble with everything. I couldn't do anything and even remember my son literally had to help get me to the car so I could drive myself to the doctor. I also remember our vacation was ruined because I couldn't do anything I was in too much pain. I saw the newspaper clipping about Neuropathy pain and when I read the symptoms and the majority of them fit me. I was hoping insurance would pay but I wasn't thinking about it and the help I got from DIY NeuroCare of America and I figured I wouldn't be able to afford it but they helped me even when I couldn't afford it. So far I felt like when I did use my lights my feet didn't feel quite as bad as they did before and I'm so excited to see what happens when I can get back to it again.

I went to this seminar and the lady that was speaking Tanya had gone through a lot of hospitalizations and medications and when she found DIY NeuroCare and Dr Joe D[redacted] she got the help where no other doctor could. I had been using a smaller handheld device with the infrared lights that helped small parts but it wasn't strong enough and I didn't know how to do it to get better relief. It did work though. It grabbed my interest this works better and on a larger scale. The doctors not being sure how much of my problems are Neuropathy and which were symptoms of arthritis . Tanya giving me the hope that I could get off of the heavier medications I am on made it of interest to me to find out more about this treatment. I myself have the numbness in my feet and left leg. My spine and back has nerve damage. My hands are almost to the point I cant use them and Im having more and more therapy on my neck now. My hopes are that I can cut down on the medications I am on and have a little less pain and be more mobile without those things. I have a problem with my eyes and vision and they have given me hope that it may even help that. The company has worked with me to make it affordable for me when I never thought I could afford it. It was very gracious of the company to make it affordable for me so I can get to my goals of less medications and less pain and having the product at home and not going to the doctors so often. Just the strong possibility of getting off medications that make you worse makes it a big drawing point because they are only masking your issues. They never take away any pills they only give you more. The days of them saying you have good health are gone in your older years without trying something that might allow you to feel better like with DIY NeuroCare!

Following a surgery on my back and left leg over a few months time I was riding with the chairman of the Pappago tribe We were hit by a drunk driver on the Sells Indian reservation and we were hit by driver. It tore out the hardware of the back surgery and I had to have more surgery and that was followed by several years of high levels of oxycodone and other pain killers. I had very high pain levels with sciatica pain and had to be hospitalized numerous times over several years. I determined that I would not take any more of the pain med's and heard about the DIY treatments. I enrolled and have taken no more med's for pain and I feel it is greatly helping my pain levels.

I was given an opportunity to go to a DIY seminar in Hastings Ne. I was interested in the light therapy but wasn't able to afford it at this time. This awesome company gave me hope for all the pain I have endured with restless legs and having MS for 20 years!! They donated this to me. How shock I was when I heard him Donate!!!! This was the greatest High I've had in a long time. The feelings cannot be described. So. I've been using it for a week I'm noticing some changes in my legs. I'm able to go longer without my medication and when my legs start to bother me it doesn't take 2-2 1/2 hours to settle down I'm following the program of getting up and doing it before going to work. So I'm up at 4:00 Am doing the lights for an hour. I am so grateful for DIY and look forward to continue to feel better!!! I would definitely recommend this company.!!! Thank you.

I have Neuropathy and restless legs and have been suffering for 4-5 years. My husband read in the newspaper the ad for DIY Neurocare for a seminar and he said hey honey I think you need to go this so we did. I was a bit skeptical but he encouraged me to make the appointment with Dr R[redacted]. After she came to our home and explained the program he really encouraged me to start the program and I did and am not sorry. At that time I was so miserable from lack of sleep from my legs and feet bothering me I was willing to try anything. I was having my feet burning by the end of the day and at night leg cramps so bad I was forced to walk the floor most of the night. As long as I walked my feet and legs didnt hurt. To that point I had been offered no relief other than habit forming prescription drugs which I refuse to take. Almost immediately I began to see a difference in the length of time I was able to sleep and didnt miss a day with my routine with the lights. I think since Ive started Ive only missed one morning in July. I know the supplements work because of my husbands illness and because of his cancer we have implemented a supplement regimine and know we have seen many positive results in our health. We know the combination is necessary. The added support and being able to ask questions from my coach Patricia and the doctor as they arise as my treatment is progressing is so important to us. Things have progresed so much faster than I had thought and I was so surprised. I would say for anyone that is interested in relief for this terrible disease I would recommend it for anybody and can't understand why a person would not be willing to try it.

My name is [redacted]. I would like to say that DIY, has been nothing but fantastic, I have been on the program for one month and my burning is gone, I am not perfect but, I have had a great start and look forward to more. I have a Great coach who I talk to every week she is so sweet and kind. I thought the only people who ever write are negative, I wanted to show my appreciation. Thank You looking forward to my success! BTW The dinner talk was so nice and I had a great experience as well the Doctor who spoke was very informative and took time to answer my questions and concerns..

My husband and I went to one of the advertised "dinners", as he suffers from Neuropathy. We watched a 45 minute video by Dr. Joseph D[redacted], Chiropractor, giving information. What DIY means, we found out later is simply "do it yourself." There is no store front "company" called DIY. If one attends one of the dinners you will find:

1. That the people there want you sign up to have his "representative" come to your home, to assess, and judge the severity of the neuropathy. That person has no qualifications- he's just a "someone." The "tests" for Neuropathy he performs are a "joke"- no one could do these, neuropathy, or no neuropathy.

2. The goal of the dinners, and the home visit is for a person to buy what is called the "ProNeuro Light"; and a sheet called the "DIY NeuroCare Home Therapy system: involving "home coaching phone calls", and various spray vitamins, and a breakdown of the $4,000 cost. To further connect DIY with Dr. D[redacted], we were given a sheet with the DIY logo on one side and Dr.D[redacted] picture on the other, with a description of his "designations" plus the book he wrote. We found items on that sheet that were not true, plus many references to his "office" in Casa Grande, with the [redacted] phone number.

3. The "ProNeuro Light" is the main sales point. In searching 2 logos on the box, with the implication that they "recommend the Light" and with reaching out to these 2 organizations, we have 2 emails from them that deny any recommendations of the ProNeuro Light. In searching further, I discovered the same "Light" with the same nm numbers on [redacted]com for $199.00 plus 3 other web sites for the same price.

The Light was represented to us as "healing" Neuropathy- it d**s not and cannot- the other web sites only say it is for relief of pain.

3. The dinners being advertised presently as I write this, are now "talks" it would seem-no videos-= and in calling the numbers I discovered two of them were by Dr. J**(as he's called, and the first person did not want to give me his last name, but the 2nd one did). I was also told that he is a "Neurologist". In the present ad, he says that he treats "carpal tunnel"- what the connections of that to Neuropathy is more than I can understand, as I recently had hand surgery myself.

4. As indicated to us by the State Board of Chiropracters in Phx., AZ, Dr. D[redacted] license has been inactive since Dec, of 2015, and we told that takes away his right to offer any medical advice, do any "manipulating", etc- check with the State Board for further information at [redacted].

5. Presently, there is a complaint with the State Board, a reply from Dr. D[redacted], a reply from the Complainant; and then there will be a hearing.

6. Through much research, and many hours, we were finally able to show my Husband's credit card people, the above, and much more questionable, at best, the procedures of DIY. His credit card read "DIY of Sun City, AZ"- as if there was truly a "company" located in Sun City, AZ, which there is not, and finally the $4,000 charge was removed, though it is claimed it was removed under the worthless "money back guarantee" by which one has a year to "prove that the Neuropathy did not improve."

7. As may be seen on DIY on this web site, the email is [redacted]; and the address in Casa Grande is all over our printed material. However, according to Phx., MLS, that property is for sale. The address given on Osborn Road, is a huge apartment dwelling called [redacted]- we saw the title and checked out the web site. There is also an address in Maricopa, AZ, from which our request for a copy of my husband's medical records was returned as well as the Osborn Rd address. According to the State, any doctor with a written request for records has 10 days to respond; and as of this date 13 business days have elapsed.

8. I saw the same fliers on the internet in Tucson, Prescott, Austin, TX, and recently in Utah. Do the math- if 10 people at a "dinner" buy into this for the $5,000 we paid- look at the money being "raked in" by someone who has a inactive license.

My name is Cindy Mayer,

I have had pain and numbness in my legs and arms for many many years. I have been to many doctors, tried many things to get relief .

In my local news paper was yet one more thing to try. So we went to the seminar to hear of one more treatment.

The seminar was great and got more information on the treatment plan,

This company D.I.Y. Have agreed to help me with the program to get better. It's been 20 plus years of pain and suffering I am looking forward to being able to live a semi normal life again.

I wish everyone with pain and numbness in your legs and arms could do this program, it's a good company and they listen to your problems and do their very best to help everyone.

Both my wife and I are retired veterans. I have some foot activity I didnt understand. In 2000 I was diagnosed as a diabetic. I started to get some tingling in my feet. I went to Boston VA clinic and they did an EMG and found out I had Neuropathy. They started me with Gabapentin and kept building and building until I was at the maximum doses. It started to affect my kidneys so we backed off of the dosages but it was tingling pretty bad so kept on a dose of 800 mg. My wife takes a combination of Lyrica and Gabapentin. The pain was so severe she would ask me to cut her legs off. Mine was from type 2 diabetes and hers was from side affects of chemotherapy. She had all of the side affects. Mine is barely tolerable but still not ok. My wife saw the flier for neuropathy and it was nice and close. We decided to go. Jamie was doing the presentation and she seemed to know what was going on but being that my wife was a retired nurse she knew they were telling the facts. Dustin then came over and he told us what things meant and explained how to do the program. He shared his story too and that helped. We also found out about Heal the Heros and when we were trying to see how we could afford this program and make a dollar out of a nickle. Dustin spoke to Ken and they were so gracious enough to donate the entire care for us! We were like wow and couldn't hardly believe it. They opened the box and got us started. We have Samantha as our coach. My wife said "this is going to be great she sounded like a real good person". I dont expect to get any results right away but I pulled the muscle in my right shoulder and I put the lights on it and I woke up the next morning and was surprised to find the pain was gone. My wife says the lights have already seen warmth and is hopeful. Actually looking forward to the pain going away the less pain the better the quality of life we will have.

I would like to recommend DIY Neuro Care of Casa Grande, Az. for anyone suffering from neuropathy. They have been a God send to me. I not only have neuropathy, but also Parkinsons. My husband had a series of health issues and he is now in an assisted living home. I was not able to get help for my condition but DIY made it possible for me to acquire their system. And I am so grateful for their help and understanding.

The thing that brought me to DIY Neurocare is the pain I have and I thought about my wife and how much pain she is in. I wanted to help her have the pain gone and no more medications. I know they can't heal it with medicine and I listened to the seminar and I knew this is what we both needed. Its constant pain day and and night. I also wanted to keep walking my 3 miles a day for my heart but it was getting harder and harder to. As one gets a day older every day the pain increases and we want it to decrease. We were all into this because we don't like taking the medicine that keeps the never ending cycle and you have to keep taking more and more and all the side effects we didn't like. We liked this because it was all natural and you can actually get better. After doing the treatments its so calming and feels so relaxing we just feel better. With my high blood pressure I can feel it and I start to be very tense and nervous and after doing my treatment I actually felt calm. We were so afraid it was working already that it was too good to be true but all three of us cant possibly have the same positive results and have it be fake. We just knew it was true. DIY has been very pleasant and willing to work with our financial distress and so eager to help us. We never in a million years thought we would get this much help and can't say thank you enough. We are positive with how fast this has worked can't wait to complete the month!

my wife and I attended the seminar in October 2016. We paid the $29 for home consultation. On the day of the consultation we canceled four hours in advance and asked if we could receive a refund. We were told yes, the check would be mailed the Friday of that week, October 14. The refund was not received and I called back Oct. 19,24,31,Nov. 8, and Nov.8. Each time I was told the check was to be mailed out on Friday. It has not happened yet. I was always lead to believe that I would receive a refund. Would not recommended this company nor their product to anyone.

DIY Neurocare of America Review

The Sales Process:

In late February 2016, my wife and I attended a DIY Neurocare of America (DIY) dinner presentation after receiving an invitation flyer. We were very aware that no company pays for a dinner without presenting some product or service. This is a very common marketing technique so we attended "with our eyes open," so to speak.

In watching the presentation, we were impressed that the presenter explained the technical description of neuropathy. This was followed by the effects that neuropathy can have on the human body and some rather descriptive photos and videos of the results. (If you attend this presentation, be prepared for some medically graphic pictures.) The presentation ended with a review of the DIY Home Therapy system and a question and answer session. The presenter remained on site until everyone with individual questions could be answered.

It should be noted that at no time did the DIY presenter imply that the Home Therapy System can CURE neuropathy. In fact, he took extreme care to point out that neuropathy cannot be cured and that only the symptoms can be mitigated.

It is also important to note that, while the presentation was a sales offer, there was no pressuring of the prospects attending the dinner. Basically, the approach was to present the facts surrounding neuropathy and leave it to the attendee to decide if they wanted more information.

We chose to take the next step and have an in-home representative come to the house for a detailed discussion. Part of the in-home stage is to "evaluate" the current state of the prospect's neuropathy and take a fairly detailed health history. This information was transmitted to DIY. Finally, the representative reviewed the Home Therapy System product. All in all, a fairly routine sales call. It was clear that the choice was ours based on the facts presented.

Due to the long term nature of our personal neuropathy conditions, we chose to go forward and buy the Home Therapy System. To be honest, the IR LED pads, vitamins and supplements didn't look like much for the money. As you will read below, looks can be deceiving.

The Results:

We began using the System almost immediately. We were told not to expect an immediate effect and that proved to be true. It did take a few weeks for symptoms to begin mitigating. We were told to continue to use the product daily and eventually the results would come. The assigned DIY case manager regularly reaches out to us to monitor our progress and answer any questions.

As a side note, we spoke with our Podiatrist who has a similar machine in his office that cost $70,000. He told us what to look for to validate the DIY product. It turns out that his $70,000 system uses the same technology as the DIY product. For the rest of our lives, we won't have to pay for repeated office visits for this kind of treatment.

After a few weeks, we began to notice that feeling was returning to the areas of our bodies affected by the neuropathy. Continual daily use of the Home Therapy System has continued to reduce the numbness. In addition, severe leg cramps at night have been virtually eliminated. Strong prescription muscle relaxant medications are no longer needed.

It is clear that stopping the use of the System will lead to a return of the neuropathy symptoms. While skipping a few days may not cause a problem, maintaining reduced symptoms does require steady use. Unfortunately, a commitment is necessary minimize the symptoms of the neuropathy.

Does this therapy work for everyone with neuropathy? With so many variables to the symptoms, we can only presume that some people may not experience our same level of improvement.

Conclusions:

DIY is selling a product that works well for us. Never were we led to believe that this was a CURE, only a symptom reducing technology.

What concerns do we have? We are uncertain of the long-term durability of the IR pads given our daily use. Of course, we hope that the pads will continue to function as intended but would like some clarification of DIY's policy in the event of a problem.

Was it worth the money spent? For us, ABSOLUTELY! It has worked as advertised and beyond our realistic expectations. We are daily users of the Home Therapy System. We believe that DIY has brought to market a product that eliminates the need for repeated office visits, repeated payments for non-insured treatments and is reasonably convenient to use. Everyone with neuropathy should take the time to evaluate the DIY Neurocare Home Therapy System.

I was diagnosed with Chronic Fatigue and Fibromyalgia in 1994 and I've coped with it since that time. I had to quit as an RN in May 1995 because I could not concentrate and made a few mistakes and was NOT OK with that. I worked the night shift and soon had no energy - life was going to work for 8 hours & to bed for the rest of that 24 hour day. In 1998 I read a book about a treatment with Guaifenesin for Fibromyalgia and started this regimen and it got me up out of bed. But if I did too much or over exerted myself with every day life kind of things it would impact me for the next several days or longer. I learned to have to not be upset when things like laundry or dishes aren't done. We moved to Tucson in 2010 to help my mother as she could not take care of herself. In Feb 2012 I was rear ended and now had whiplash. In the x-rays they discovered degenerative disease and my entire arm would go numb. I had a non stop headache since. For that I had injections, pain medications like Vicodin and epidurals which never really helped. When I received a postcard to treat myself at home and was interested. Just the general presentation was impressive. What really impressed me was the ulcer wound and the healing. I take care of a young lady who has similar wounds and I've used the lights on her to heal her wounds. I noticed as they were talking about symptoms how many symptoms I also have. Since I've started using DIY Neurocare's treatments in May, I no longer have pain and numbness in my left arm. I've been checked out and do not have carpal tunnel. When I am having sciatic nerve pain the lights help. Sometimes i'll do an extra treatment if the pain flares up. I don't have to take the Vicodin, and am noticing now I have less and less pain. All in all I am so impressed with this "simple treatment". I do my treatments in the morning as I gradually wake up and I'm good for the day. The treatment just feels so good and what it has done to take this pain and numbness away is fantastic!

I grew up doing lots of sports and got hurt several times. I would ignore the aches and pains and work through it. Then in 1974 I started working as a hairdresser and with having to stand long periods of time and holding my arms out I started to develop pains in my neck and arms. Then in 1992 I quit doing hair because of my body hurting and went to work for my dad's construction company but my neck started to hurt too much. I went back to doing hair but made my body worse. In 2011 I applied for disability and now I have balance issues and trip where there is nothing. My granddaughter came in and she accidentally bumped me and I fell and hurt my leg and my mouth and had aches and pains for a long time. I wake up every single day with a headache. I can't drive anymore and Bob and I used to ride and can't do that anymore either. Now PT is too much and when your on a limited budget we are so limited in our healthcare and the VA has helped some but Bob has had aches and pains ongoing. The worst pain is in his knees and legs and I have it in my whole body. Bob worked as a mechanic and loves to ride. Been everywhere and now its too much to ride and can't use his hands anymore. Makes it hard to walk around. The VA replaced one knee already and my arthritis affects everything I do. I am hoping this works for us so much and we just can't believe that DIY NeuroCare has donated the care we need. Everybody I've worked with on their staff is very professional, helpful and very giving.

I'm very anxious to get this treatment started and can't wait to feel better! I was so excited to go to this seminar. I've tried tens units, medicines, physical therapy, trying anything I could even overdosing on pain pills just to be able to function. For 3-4 years I've slowly been getting worse and worse. Within the last six months now my right foot has had problems and the numbness has gotten worse. I even joined the gym until my fingers started locking into place because they would be so painful. Tried braces too. I can't sleep it hurts too much and I'm up and down every 2-3 hours that's when I can sleep. Patch therapy didn't work either. The seminar was very informative and when Tanya was talking I found out there are people out there like me and I wasnt alone. I know this will take a while but I believe for the first time now I can get help and not have to stay in my house a prisoner and go do things I want to do like shopping, going out and bowling. I just want to be able to just shop and enjoy myself and not have to use a walker or the ride around cart. I have to have others live with me so they can help with the kids. Things I miss and my oldest child had to help me and grew up faster than I like and she was afraid she would come home and I was on the floor. This will give my children hope to get their mom back. Because of the generosity of Keith Day, Dr Joe D[redacted] and DIY they gave us hope! I've always been the one to help people and now I need help and its being paid forward and it means I don't take that lightly. It makes me emotional because nowadays you just dont find people like this to help.

I'd like to give a HEADS UP "Warning" to the Revdex.com, and the general public, mostly "us" seniors-who've worked hard, many years for our money

I've had 3 "difficulties" with DIY Neurocare within the first 24 HOURS since purchasing my "Neuropathy Kit" from DIY. Like I told THEM today, (8/5/16), when things "are meant to be" you don't have this many "bumps in the road" in the first 24 hours since you started.

So then I read that woman's review on your website. SHE "definitely" has done her homework, and I'm going to "look into DIY further. I REALLY appreciate when people go above and beyond, what they normally would, to help others on down the line, like myself.

I REALLY advise Revdex.com to pursue EVERY avenue they can, with EVERY resource available, to guarantee ALL citizens who do business with DIY, our hard earned money is going into great hands, who ARE going to help us relieve pain.

PLEASE advise "us" of your outcome, by posting your response. We DESPERATELY need to be guaranteed DIY Neuro is a 100% legitimate business.

Thank You VERY MUCH!!!

+1

Please do not buy this treatment if you are relying on the 100% guarantee. My experience with the warranty is D.I.Y. will go to extremes including fictitious reasons to refund your money. Also, I believe most if not all the positive reviews are bogus meant to promote their sales.

My husband and I went to a seminar where this company was trying to sell a "light machine" for pain management. We thought it might help with my husband's neuropathy, so we paid the $29 for an appointment with a consultant to come evaluate his pain in two weeks. When we got home, we started researching the product and have come to believe this company is just out for money. Another negative Revdex.com review indicated that the same product with the same serial number could be purchased online for only $199 rather than the $4000-5000 this company is selling them for. We actually found them for $185. We called DIY Neurocare the very next day and asked to cancel our appointment. The lady said we could cancel, but the $29 would not be refunded despite our appointment still being 2 weeks away. She said we'd been told the $29 would not be returned and that the forfeiture was also in the "fine print" that we had signed. We were not told this, nor did we sign anything... not even the credit card receipt. My husband told her we would take it up with the Revdex.com and cancel our credit card payment. Her only reply was that we should read the fine print next time. We re-read all the literature we'd been given and nowhere did it address a forfiture of our money if the appointment was cancelled. Within 10 minutes a man called us back, not once, but twice, and finally left a message saying they would refund the money to our credit card. Regardless of whether they do or not, we feel it's important for others to know how this company operates. If you want to try the light technology for pain, there are MUCH cheaper ways to do so. Also BE WARY before handing over money for a future evaluation appointment.

I am Amazed!! I suffer from sharp shooting pain in my feet , also numbness and pain in my hands along with the swelling, dry skin, and discoloration on my legs and ankles. I looked into D.I.Y. Neuro care for treatment relief. I went to the seminar and liked what I heard, so I booked a in home consultation. A case worker came to home and evaluated my symptoms and gave me a protocol for treatment. I was unable to afford the treatment program at this time, so a phone call was made to the co-founder of the company. I am so amazed at what happened!! They donated me the treatment program , so that I could start treating all my symptoms now!! I am flabbergasted at the generosity of the company to do this for me!! These are great people and a great company! Thank you so much D.I.Y Neuro care

I suffer from peripheral neuropathy and tried their laser light therapy to relieve my pain. Unfortunately, their treatment did not work for me. But, they warned it does not work for everyone, and that is why they offer a 100% money back guarantee. I elected to quit the treatment, and they refunded my money with no problems whatsoever. I was so blessed to have Tonya handle my request for a refund. She is but one of many DIY associates I have had the pleasure of talking to. I can recommend this company without hesitation.
