The worst customer service I have experienced I had to email and call for days to get a receipt for my payment I was sent an email stating that the vehicle would be picked up on 5/ This never happened instead, I had one of my co-workers call me and tell me that they never showed to pick up the car I had to call DIY to be informed that the pickup was cancelled No email was sent to me Then they magically found another one to pick up the vehicle on 5/ I was called by the new driver of the vehicle days after the delivery date to be told it wasn't delivered again I called DIY once again, and I was told that they would see what was going on I still have not been called back I took this into my own hands and called the delivery company The man at the delivery company told me that DIY cancelled the delivery because the delivery truck broke down and it was going to take them a few days longer to deliver I have called Terriann times without a returned call Make an excuse for this like you did with everyone else's complaint You are the worst company that I have ever had to do business with You can't even send an email when a delivery is cancelled by either you or the delivery company? That is very poor customer service I would have rather paid $more for a company to actually do the work that was promised

I just moved to Sierra Vista,AzMy Chevy dealer is shipping my EquinoxHowever, the vehicle is still sitting at the dealer in Macedon, NYThey are trying to get DIY Transport to pick up and ship my car since March DIY claims they do not have a driver willing to come to Sierra Vista, AzTucson yes but to Sierra Vista, noSierra Vista is an hour and minsCloser tha TucsonAs a result my vehicle is still sitting at the dealers for days with no resolution in sightDIY Transport is the worst company I have ever run across

I had tried working with other shipping brokers before I found DIY Transport After weeks, I had no luck and came upon DIY and gave them a callI called up and spoke with Gary who was truly amazing He took me step by step through the process and even let me conference in my mother who would be the origin contact Less than hours after calling, my car was picked up and it took day to receive The driver who brought my car from OH - NY was also super nice and very communicative A fantastic experience overall!

AWFUL customer serviceWe are a young military family stressing to get our vehicle overseas and we were completely blindsided by the companyWe were told we had to reserve a slot FREE of charge with NO CANCELLATION fee over the phone to lock in a price that "quickly escalates weekly"When we went to cancel our pending transport with them they were nothing but attitudes and one lady said it would be a $charge then the next one we spoke to said it would be $and charged our payment method without consent! DO NOT USE THEMSERVERELY OVER PRICED AND DISGUSTING SERVICE

After contracting with another company that didn't get my car picked up I call diytransport where I spike with *** who was VERY helpful in explaining why my car was not getting picked up Once listing with diy mike had my car picked up with in hrs Thanks ***!

The price did not remain the same, that is a blatant lieWe were told the car would be delivered 4/The car was left at the "connection" for almost a monthWithout more money they we're not able to deliver the carWe had to pay $*** just to get the car delivered 4/This process took a month and a halfOnce the car arrived it had 1,miles and we caught the third party DIY released the car to driving it (we have documented proof)We were told the car would not be driven that it would arrive on a carrierIt now has more miles and the check engine light was on.This has been the worst customer serviceDIY has a great rating by the Revdex.com that is why we trusted them, but the company they chose to transport our vehicle, Save on Transportation is rated F and has horrible reviewsWe would NEVER have trusted our car with themDIY breached the agreement and delivered our car with more milesThe whole point of transporting the vehicle was to prevent wear and tear on the car with all the miles.

I chose DIY because the girl I spoke with was very educational!
she walked me through the process from start to finish!
DIY was not the lowest price but they were not the highest!
Lindsay did what she said she would do and the process went smooth!!
thats all I asked for!
Go to DIY if you need a car shipped and ask for LINDSAY S

DIY Transport is at fault for the inadequate customer service and over exaggeration of the details leading up to my vehicle being picked upThere is no way to know how much longer I would have waited if I did not take it under my own authority to determine the location of my vehicleIt has been a complete struggle since Novwhen it first arrived in Tacoma It stuns me to know that this is how they represent themselves to a customer, even know that I am a active duty service member of the United States *** ***Attached to this file are the receipts of the cash transaction to the first shipper of $***, from *** *** ** to *** **I also is the credit card charge for the remaining balance of the shipmentI also went ahead an reattached the receipts from the *** Port for picking up my vehicle to show the 500lbs and cash payment of $***I feel I deserve a full reimbursement of all cost excluding the shipping of the vehicle for the lack of quality of service I dealt with
The refund would include the $***, as well as the $*** processing fee for a total of $***Regards,*** ***

The customer in question *** ***, was not forthcoming with all his informationWhen he initially placed his order, the information regarding his house hold goods, did not match the information he had given to usthe vehicle was not delayed as far as transport time, but the additional
lbs! did however put the order into a bit of delayas we continue corresponding with the shipper in ***, they where unwilling to release the vehicle until the extra cost was paid forif the customer was more accurate with his information from the start, we would have had a much smoother process

*** ***,
" BACKGROUND->As you stated, when you contacted diyTransport you were in a situation where your vehicle needed to be moved quicklyWe always advise our customers to make their their reservation at least two weeks in advance for a cross country moveThat being said the price quoted to you was not $*** it was $***..we try to relay to customers all the time that these prices are bidsFurthermore, it becomes very difficult when a customer names their own price and does not take our recommended price, because these are the problems we run intoFor anyone reading this please understand that these are not guaranteed prices and we do not sell it as such

This company DIY Inc is an excellent top of the line company Very happy with the auto transport delivery of my vehicle...We Shipped in June a small car from California over to east coast Central Virginia...Very professional peopleVery honest and straight forwardVery quick pickup and on-time deliveryNo complaints from me Only good and positive things to say about this companyDirect and daily and honest response during the transportEspecially want say well deserved positive words for the agents; Lindsay.- Joe.- Ms Terriann, -and AnthonyIf you hear them on the phone you will be very well taken care of....This review from a very happy Virginia customer

Working with DIY Transport was the most amazing experience I have had in a while when working with a professional companyThe company was friendly, precise and very educated in their fieldStarting with the customer service agent Stephanie Douglas who was a "30" on a "10" scale pertaining to professionalism, information needed and simply making us feel secure as a consumerShe provided us with any contractual agreements requested in advance and took the time if needed to walk us through some misunderstood terms that were concerning to us as "first time shippers"The actual trucking agent..."driver" contacted us when they were on the road and close to us for delivery ensuring that we were well informed the whole time they had our car in their possessionTherefore, I would recommend this company to anyone who will be shipping a car in the near future because I guarantee that we will be using them again!!! It was a great experience from the time we made contact with the customer service agent until the completion of the delivery!
Thanks again DIY!!!
Happy Customer

I have reviewed the offer made by the business in reference to complaint ID ***, and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below. The $*** is to be refunded no matter the outcome of this complaintThe $*** covered the extra weight which I paid for out of pocket
As a military member I am not trying to gain an advantage in my claim, I am just appalled that you would treat a customer as you didAs for the "terrible" customer service; DIY Transport stated that they were available to me at all times, but I paid DIY Transport to ship my vehicle and in that agreement, I should not be the one locating my vehicle after almost weeks of no contactYes, I spoke with a agent on Novand for the benefit of the doubt we will start from the Novforward- Nov: The customer's vehicle, *** ***, arrives into the *** PortNo contact by DIY Transport was made- Nov: The customer's vehicle, *** ***, still at the *** portNo contact by DIY Transport was made.- Nov: The customer's vehicle, *** ***, still at the *** portNo contact by DIY Transport was made- Nov: The customer's vehicle, *** ***, still at the *** portNo contact by DIY Transport was made- Nov: The customer's vehicle, *** ***, still at the *** portNo contact by DIY Transport was made- Nov: The customer's vehicle, *** ***, still at the *** portNo contact by DIY Transport was made- Nov: The customer's vehicle, *** ***, still at the *** portNo contact by DIY Transport was made The customer took it upon himself to call the shipping company on Nov, which was found by back-tracing the address given by DIY Transport on Nov., to find out where the vehicle was -*** Port notified customer that the check to release the vehicle had not arrived -Multiple calls between DIY Transport, the customer, and the *** port company to find out why the customer's vehicle was not released -DIY Transport stated that the check could not be processed because the weight of the vehicle did not match the amount the customer had stated prior to shippingThe check to release the vehicle was sent out for overnight shipment later that day -Customer filled a complaint directly with DIY Transport and the customer service rep, ***, acknowledge the neglect by her employees to communicate effectively with the customerThe employee was reprimanded- Nov:
-*** port notified customer that the check had been received but the check received ONLY COVERED THE COST OF THE SHIPPING -Customer paid additional $*** for the entire weight of the goods in the vehicleAs a customer paying for a service, if this entire process does not describe "terrible"(awful, bad, etc.) service than I do not know what bad service isThe weight of the vehicle never prompted DIY Transport to contact me about any of the processing once the vehicle arrived in *** on NovThe amount paid by DIY Transport to the *** port clearly collaborates that the weight of the vehicle was never a factor in the release or even a notification of the vehicle being over weight A full refund of all expenses other than shipping should be reimbursed, to include the pending $*** for the additional weight charge, will come to a total of $***

I had no clue about shipping vehicle's or how it workedI was contacted by *** and he explained everything to meI thought it would be more difficult then what he made it seemI was overwhelmed with other companies calling and emailing me at first*** had contacted me a few times to follow upHe was never rude, but persistent! I eventually contacted him back to ship my vehicle's!I would definitely recommend DiyTransport

I shipped my vehicle with Mr Hess & the whole team at DIY TRANSPORT was beyond helpful, they even went as far as to answer my questions and concerns at 2:am when I was stressing outAs the owner of RDI Car dealership, I can HIGHLY recommend this team of EXPERTS!

I recently tried using DIY Transport to move a car from NJ to FloridaIt turned out to be a horrible experience and would never recommend using this companyPrice quote started at $ We were not ready to ship immediately and when we contacted them a few weeks later the price went to $We called them on a thurs and told them we needed the car delivered by the next Friday which they said no problem , it was only two days transit and pickup is typical in 72hrs but not more than daysThe following Tues and Weds we called after not hearing from anyone but were assured the car would still be picked up in timeFriday came (day car was to be in Florida) and it was still not picked upDIY called us that Friday late in the day and said the price was too low and we agreed to raise it another $Another few days went by and DIY called saying they had a driver to pick up on TuesWe agreed and they charged our CCA few hours later they called and said the driver backed out but they could get another for another $Now the price was going from $to $At this point we said no and the car was never picked upWe called the next day to cancel and the customer service rep cancelled the order but could not refund our credit card telling us we would need to email accounting and request that separatelyNumerous phone calls and stress and the car is still here , vacation plans ruined and we also still never got a refund on the cc We may have to have the card company dispute nowHorrible horrible experienceHope this review will save someone from the same hassle we went through

Was going through DIY to transport my carIssue with them and many others in this line of work is they give you a quote and then hike it upThat isn't the worst part, what bothered me is when they give your ticket number to an actual carrier and they don't do their due diligence to determine if the driver they're going to use for you is a good ladThe guy they found for me wasn't willing to meet at the proper location which ended in a termination of his services before he even got to my carThen time passed where no one even was getting back to me on whether they were finding me a driverI ended up going with another company and was very disappointed with their work ethic
