Showed up on time Very professional Very thorough Cannot complain one bit!

Horrible customer service, extremely rude peopleDon't show up when they sayExpect you to be home for them to come and work on AC for about hr window of time and then don't show after I took off workSo rude on the phoneTook about weeks for them to finally resolve our issue and that was all due to me calling numerous times arguing with them

They did a great job--prompt, efficient, and friendlyThey gave me tips on preventative maintenance that is very helpfulWould definitely recommend

Well, I for one am of the other opinion My experience with Done Right AC has been nothing short of complete satisfaction My first encounter with their service occurred in April when my unit just gave out in the middle of a heat wave My call to Home Warranty led to a quick and responsive call by Done Right AC They not only called, but unlike other providers they did not wait a few days to contact me They contacted me within an hour after placing my service call! Not only that, as far as my experience with them will show they were extremely polite and handled my concern with utmost respect and courtesy They are ALL respectful individuals who acted in a professional manner during my time of need They were completely swamped with prior service calls but made the time to give me a scheduled date and time and guess what? They kept their promise! Not only that the two technicians made sure to call half an hour before arriving As soon as they arrived I knew I was dealing with courteous and polite staff They were extremely professional and discovered the problem within minutes of arriving which turned out to be a float switch in the attic that a PREVIOUS AC contractor had installed Wow was I happy
My second run in with Done Right AC occurred today A previous inspection had shown that my blower was dirty and needed to be cleaned so they made a point of scheduling me the day before but due to unforeseen circumstances they were unable to make it but you know what? Here they were calling me on a Friday night after 9:pm asking to come over and clean it! Wow, I assured them that there was no need and to arrive the next day, which they did in a punctual manner It was a very hot day and after removing the blower from the attic they took the time to show me how dirty it was (Charles) and then told me they would take it outside and handwash it in order to clean it After installing it they made sure I was satisfied with the job and left in a timely manner My experience with them has been nothing like all these other reviewers and found the company to be highly reputable I would recommend this AC company to anyone in the surrounding city and to defintiely use them Done Right AC definitely lives up to its name

this company has horrible customer service. [redacted] Charles never follows up. the office staff -Lisa is the only one who seems to care. after 2 weeks waiting for them to fix my AC I had to go somewhere else. DO NOT USE DONE RIGHT - THEY DO IT ALL WRONG.

I am rejecting this response because: done right a/c caused damage to my compressor that was clearly identified by YOUR senior tech that wrote in my invoice that the compressor was making sounds after everything was installed and charged to the correct operating pressures.  If my compressor was damaged or not functioning correctly when the valve was installed it should of been noted on the invoice when [redacted] was out on site.  Now that we have clearly identified that [redacted] did not install the valve correctly and DID NOT pressure the system up to the correct pressures and the compressor was function correctly BEFORE [redacted] went out there cause if it wasn't it would of been noted.  I have pictures of the pressures [redacted] pressured up my unit to and invoices stating that the compressor was making noises after done right a/c went to the house twice and was never noted before work was performed.  So done right a/c is responsible for the damages "[redacted]" caused to compressor for the improper installation of valve and incorrect pressures set by [redacted] a "done right a/c tech.

I am rejecting this response because: The description is a total lie.  There were no profanities involved. He is simply trying to cover his incompetence.  He doesn't know anything about the part that he took.  I would like for it to be returned so that [redacted] can assess.  This company has no idea what it's doing.  I would also like for Done Right to return the $75 extra charge for a weekend call, since the report was not submitted to the home warranty company until 3 days later.

This is a bogus complaint.

We are not happy with them. We had no AC for 3 days prior due to the AC going out Friday evening. When they came out they didn't even fix the problem. It's 82's degrees in our house at night and it gets hotter during the day. They should not leave until the problem is resolved. And at worst if they have other jobs to do, at least come back and make sure it is working properly.

Done Right AC removed  a cosmetic cover panel from the heater to retrieve numbers from the heater. This had absolutely no impact on the drain line. The unit is not installed correctly. It is not sized properly. There is no float switch on the primary pan. There is no secondary drain fitting on...

the primary pan. The secondary pan was distorted and not functioning properly due to the furnace settling and squashing it. The unit started leaking water due to the drain line being clogged. This is a normal failure. The lack of preventative maintenance is what caused the drain line to clog. The issue is a bad install. You need to contact the company that did the original install and ask them to fix their mess. Done Right addressed why the unit was leaking water in the first place. We cleared the drain line and observed proper drainage. When [redacted] was at the property with your husband, he asked your husband to call the warranty company for a recall so that we could bill them for the service. We never received the recall work order from your warranty company. Please submit payment for that service at your earliest convenience. You can call the office to get the total and mailing address. The reason that we did not correct the issues we observed is because we do not want to inherit responsibility for such poor workmanship. I am sorry that the hubcap was left off, but that did not cause the trainwreck.

I am rejecting this response because: We had to hire a contractor to repair ceiling and leak due to our house is on the market to sell and had to put on hold until fixed.  I have a copy of the bill if you need one. It cost us $500 to repair. They can send us a check asap.

Done Right AC got the job fixed right away. Very nice technicians. Good job. We were up and running in 30 minutes. Thank you.

I had a very long discussion with the owner of the business about their reviews and I learned some interesting facts. According to the owner, his business has performed more than ten thousand services in the past few years and only a handful of negative reviews have been filed, with some customers filing complaints on multiple sites with different names. The owner pointed out that (as any rational person will already know) it is impossible to please all the people all the time and for so few complaints with such high volume of work, the average is quite impressive.
It has been my experience that the owner of the business is a highly intelligent man and his staff is personally vested in the success of the business and show that by performing their work to a very high standard. They are very knowledgeable, courteous, and most helpful.
The owner and some of his staff have claimed that the complaints filed against his business are lodged by mentally disturbed individuals and judging by my experiences with them over the last few years on multiple occasions at multiple properties I own and rent, I am inclined to agree.
Again....The people at Done Right really know their stuff and when they were stumped once, I saw the owner come quickly to help his workers to resolve the issue. They have PROVEN to me that they are honest and sincere people, worthy of my trust.

Revdex.com:
The business has accepted responsibility for error and resolved the issue. No further action is necessary at this time.
I have reviewed the response made by...

the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me.

I am rejecting this response because:We received one phone message from [redacted] the owner of the business.  During this phone call it was requested that all responses be in writing.  We have not heard from him since.  He was hired to do the work through the warranty company but the work was done on in our home. We have let the warranty company know of the issue we have had with Done Right A/C.  We would like to be reimbursed the $171.00.  If this issue had been fixed during his second visit we would not had to call a second company to complete the repair.

We apologize for all the inconvenience, we will send a $500 check to the customer...Thank You

Done Wrong A/C installed a new compressor at
my house. The warranty company that I had uses these people because they work cheap. The work was not complete and my a/c is not working and they want to charge me labor to repair it.Please do not use these flakes because they will find a reason not to stand behind their work.No customer satisfaction.

As a professional tradesman with a near 99% accuracy rating, I tested that accessory that was added to your unit needlessly. The accessory failed to test proper ohms or voltage. You failed to observe the test being performed because that was the time when you were telling me to save my breath and...

not explain anything to you and just do whatever I needed to get your unit fixed. You walked away while I was using my Fluke multimeter to test the unit and the accessory. The accessory failed the test and was deemed to be malfunctioning. The accessory, with your permission, was removed and the unit restored to manufacturer specification. The accessory has been dropped into the garbage, where it belongs. After removing that accessory and restoring the unit to factory specifications, I tested again and found proper signal reaching the motor, but the motor was not responding. That's when I determined that the motor was faulty and needed replacement.I was attempting to explain to you that when a contractor installs things that are not locally available to other contractors, it causes unnecessary delays in servicing the unit. You became rude and agitated. I don't understand why you insist on my returning a broken part that does not prevent your a/c from being repaired.
We provided the part number to your blower motor to your warranty company and they determined that due to the extremely over-inflated cost of replacement parts for your brand of a/c, they felt that installing a new unit would be the better route to follow.
I fail to see how any of this warrants your harassing and bothersome calls. Each of my office staff has asked me to keep them from any exposure to you, as you have a tendancy to be hostile and don't permit any of us to explain anything to you before you start screaming profanities at us. You have not gotten any phone contact from us because you refuse to speak with us as if we are professionals and we do not tolerate abusive treatment.
As I tried to explain to you in your home that day, I am sorry that you have been put into this position of having a unit that is very expensive to repair and that the contractor who installed it did so, knowing that you would be steered toward being stuck with only their company servicing your unit. I didn't do this to you and I was frustrated in seeing a customer in this position. I tried to explain this to you, but you just wouldn't let me. You were disrespectful and spoke to me as if I were your servant who had just spilled a glass of Port on your new carpet.

Please stop harassing us and good luck with your friends at that other company.

BTW:  I know how much they quoted you for your replacement motor and they are more than doubling the cost of that motor. You are being charged over $600.00 mark-up on a motor that can be installed in 15 minutes.

Please withdraw this complaint.
