Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] , and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below Regards, [redacted] On Sunday, June 19th, Drainhelp.com verbally quoted me $2,for Plumbing work On Monday June 20, [redacted] from drain help gave me a bill for $7,which I disputed immediatelyI never signed a written quote for that price or any authorization for an increase from $2,to $7,for work to be doneI also not given a hour right to cancelCalifornia state law states work over $must be authorized in writing and I did not I was threatened in person by Ali and over the phone by [redacted] for fear of a mechanical lien placed on my house and under duress I signed payment via [redacted] that priceIn retrospect I should not have When I emailed Drainhelp later of the dispute, I was told to send other quotes for the work that was done, so I complied and sent them that informationThat totaled $and that information was sent via email to drainelpThey disputed and refused these proposals once againThe difference in price billed and price quoted is $Basically I was charged over $an hour for plumbing work done at my houseI feel I was grossly overcharged On a side note my drain backed up in the shower again on Saturday July 9, So this is truly an added problem to the problem already at hand [redacted]

Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] , and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.First of all, I would gladly pay $if it was a septic system inspection in which I could have seen the condition of the tank(s), leech line, and the entire systemI did not get a view of any of theses...I got to see the main sewer line and that is all.....nothing more, nothing lessI have the video to show it I called them specifically for a septic inspection - they quoted me $which seemed low based on research I did on the web, but told them as long as it was thorough and accurate, I would acceptThey confirmed it would be so I proceeded to allow them to comeWhat they did was no where close to a septic inspection as [redacted] the plumber could not even locate the septic tankHe was agitated when I asked if he really knew what he was doing and got an attitude that of course he knowsHe told me for $total, he would stick the camera in the main sewage line, feed it through all the way to the septic tank and down thru the leech lineOnce he stuck the camera in, and it would not go any further, he proclaimed the tank was full and needed to be pumpedI joked with him that it was not worth $and he was visibly upset at the situationOn many occasions, my girlfriend asked if the price would be reduced since we did not even see any of the septic system, but [redacted] changed the subject each timeHe was very obviously dodging the questions, and I was afraid he was going to freak out on usOn more than one occasion, the home inspector who was there at the same time asked us what the plumber was doing as he wasnt even close to the septic system [redacted] actually was the one who called in to his office with my credit card in his handI was intimidated and irritated at that point that I knew we were getting ripped off, as was my girlfriend and realtorWhile the response stated, we were joking around, that is absolutely incorrect [redacted] was the one talking on the phone and making it seem like everything was fineI even let him use my phone as I was afraid of him.My point of writing the [redacted] review, this Revdex.com complaint, and further action is because Drainhelp.com has frauded more than a few folks and there will be more to comeI want them stopped now Regards, [redacted]

Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] , and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below Regards, [redacted] I hired a licensed plumber to do work, if he could not perform the work or did not know how to do it , then he should not have done it, he stated he does the work, knows what he is doing, has people, done it before, guarantees his work , not a problem will come back and fix if anything is wrong, came back and said no problem I knew the guy did the compacting wrong the first time, wasted three weeks of my time and decides he will not do the work correctly and fix the problemThe owner lied numerous times and has failed to back up his warranty and work performed I need $5k to hire other professionals who know what they are doing to get the work corrected and to repair the pavers work that was done Professional plumbers always have to dig in the ground to do repair work, now [redacted] just admitted he could not do the work the first time so should not have done it and lied to us to get the job in the first place I would like to be reimbursed the money and get this resolved asap, do not need my yard getting worse for poor workmanship by drain help Once again if you are not able to do digging and compacting work then they should not have accepted the work and not have said that they can do it, complete flat out lie and scam

Thank you for your responseWe did exactly what the customer wanted us to do while we were thereWhen the technician determined that a septic inspection could not be completed due to not being able to find the lid for the septic (nobody knew where the lid was) he informed the customer that a septic pumping company would have to come and find the lid so then he could proceed with the rest of the jobOnly pumping companies are able to do thisAfter customer was informed he was curious about the shape of his sewer line he asked our technician [redacted] to run the camera from the clean out and provide a video inspection of the shape of the pipe that goes into the septicTechnician then quoted him $and the customer agreed to do the workTechnician found a broken sewer line and located itThe line was full of sewageCustomer was grateful for this information and as a matter of fact, our technician broke his phone as it fell out of his pocket when he was running the camera under the tight deck to complete his jobThat is why he asked the customer if he could use his phone to make a call to dispatch and inform her about the broken phoneThe customer according to the tech was always very nice and let him use his phone that onceWhen it came time to pay, customer called in the payment himself and spoke to dispatch in a very happy and joking manner as he paid the $and said nothing about being dissatisfiedWe have to ask ourselves how the customer could be afraid of a technician half his size, while he had his girlfriend and another man there (the realtor) with him? Our technician was alone, and in fact took the call even though it was well over our coverage zoneAfter the customer posted the [redacted] review, our technician called him and asked him if why he wrote such lies on [redacted] about himThe customer did nothing but yell and curse himself and wanted his money backWe are still offering to come back after the customer has found the lid (by calling a pumping company) and we will perform a septic inspection for himWe will of course ask to videotape the entire job to ensure quality service and no misunderstandingsWe will also request to have at least witnesses present to that the customer can feel safe, and our technician as wellThank youDrainHelp.com

Thank you for your informationUnfortunately we are not responsible for compacting your dirtYou had a paver contractor come out and not to install tiles but to install paversPerhaps you should contact him and ask him to fix the sinking areaWe are plumbing contractors only and are responsible for your plumbing and nothing elseIf you'd like we can come take a look at the toilet as a courtesy and fix it however we are not responsible for any other constructionNor are we going to issue you a refundWe did in fact state that we could help you fix the pavers as a courtesy because you referred us another job which we are grateful forHowever you refused to sign a paper stating that we would no longer be responsible for your construction work and you refused to signWe are not going to be fixing work that is not plumbing related please understand thatThank you once again and we hope that you will find this response acceptableAlso, let us know when we can come out and look at the toilet Sincerely Drain Help

We are in receipt of your complaintThis complaint is also the same review posted by customer on ***We have offered to come out once again and provide the customer with another inspection that may or may not meet his needsWe are not going to provide any refunds because we are making an effort to resolve this by coming out and providing with a second inspectionFor some reason he continues to reject that offerHe signed the invoice given by technician who did not ever intimidate himThere where witnesses at the job site who include his real estate agent and customer's girlfriendDispatcher is also a witness that when she took the credit card information over the phone customer was happy and even joking aroundWe suspect customer spoke to someone after the job was done who told him that we were too expensiveWe provided the customer with an estimate before doing the job and he acceptedIf customer is not satisfied with our inspection we would like to come out once more and do the work once more in order to make the customer contentHowever, he indicated to us that if we did not refund him the money in full, he would write a bad reviewWe do not pay for reviews at DrainHelp.com so we declined his offerCustomer then wrote untrue statements on [redacted] which we suspect were done out of angerWe hope that the customer has had time now to reflect and will accept our offer.Thank youDrainHelp.com

Good morningOur response is the sameWe will not be issuing a refund because the customer agreed to the price before we started the work

Hi ***,So I've decided to give up on this complaint (just what Drain Help wanted). I'm not getting anywhere with them. They sure know how to work the system. However, I would like something added on complaint #*** for the records. On WedApril 22, (9:07am) - Drain Help finally calls me. The dispatcher said there was a techavailable to come out to inspect on this same day between 3:00-4:30pm. I accept but informed the dispatcher to make sure the techarrived on time because I had somewhere to go at 5:00pm. 3:17pm - Drain Help dispatcher calls me again, I was told the tech was stuck at some other job waiting for an inspector. She said, he didn't think he was going to make it before 5:00pm at my place. She asked if he could go the next morning. I said "no" because I had to be at work but I did tell her that I could wait until 6:00pm for the techto come over. The dispatcher said, "Ok, I will call the techand let him know." 5:00pm - Dispatcher calls back and says, "Techis on his way." Technever showed up and I never received a phone call. I ended up staying home waiting but had no luck. I really wanted to get over this and so decided to wait but no one showed up or called. Please add this to the complaint. This shows exactly what type of company they are

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ***, and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.I do not need a septic inspection now.....I needed it that weekend so I could have all records when attempting to purchase a houseIt is a null point now and why I am still demanding half of the $refundedI will admit I made the most stupid call when I found you guys, and I expect as a professional services company for you to admit 1/blame as you did not complete anything I had called you out to do, nor did you complete the video inspection of the septic tank and leech line as promised would happen by ***If he had said, "I will try my best run my camera thru sewer line and hope to find the tank and leech line and even if I do not it will still cost $485", I would have never agreedI would have cut my loss at that point, paid a reasonable fee for his time to come out there, and I would have called another company to come and perform the septic inspection as needed.
If *** truly new how to do septic inspections, he would have been able to locate the septic tankAfter this whole experience with *** knowing what to do, I called around to different septic companies and they stated they would always be able to find the tank by using either county map (they would have looked prior to coming to property), or they would have located main sewer line and following across yard probing with a thin probe as septic tanks always have to be at least feet from the homeIt might take a little while to locate, but they would be able to findThey would also have to dig in most cases and were always equipped to be able to do soIn our case, *** had no idea what he was doing or where he was looking, so he told me his solution was to stick the camera thru the main sewer line, feed it through to the tank and ultimately the leech lineIt would all be video taped so we could use in the inspection reportNever once (and all of my witnesses that were there (including the home inspector) did I inform *** that I wanted the main sewer line inspected for $I agreed to the $if he was able to do as he promised and feed the line into tank, leech line, and provide video and a report that I could useThe silly he report he left was not even a report, it was a hand written statement of items - basically the invoice...nothing near what a septic report should look like.
I was nice to tech once again as we were all intimidated of himHis personality was as if he would snap at anytime and get violentI have the witnesses there to back this upAdditionally, he was asked more than once about the service not being complete and not even seeing the septic tank and he would not directly answer the questionHe was agitated and would change the subjectHe would not even look us in the eye
Additionally, I have contacted my cell phone provider, Verizon, to acquire the phone records from both the call he made calling my credit card number in, as well as the call that *** made to me directly after I posted the *** reviewI admit, I cussed at him once, but that was much after the fact that he exploded on me calling me deragatory names, saying, "file a Revdex.com report.....I have been through that process so many times...I hope you do file one" and telling me that I am going to have bigger problemsThis whole mess can be resolved by refunding $If you can not agree to this, an attorney will be contacted and you will be served to appear in small claims court.
regards,
***

Once again, the company has not yet called to set a date to come out to do the inspection and Revdex.com has closed my complaint. What to do in this case? If Drain Help does not want to call me to set a date, that's fine. They are welcome to just come over and inspect. My property is not gated and what they are looking for is very obvious. What do you suggest? Sometimes I wonder if Drain Help does this on purpose so one gives up on them. After all, the last time I spoke to the techhe did tell me he had been through this several times (Mmmmmmm). Thanks,

Yes, they can come out to inspect. Please call me so we can schedule a day and time (***, please call after 2:30). However, due to unprofessionalism, I'm requesting a different technician (not Ali) to come out and do the inspection. Thank you
