Good morning. Our response is the same. We will not be issuing a refund because the customer agreed to the price before we started the work.

Thank you for your response.
However we are not responsible for work unrelated to plumbing, we are plumbing contractors and not general contractors. We cannot guarantee work that is not plumbing related. We will stand by our work pertaining to any plumbing we warrantied in this job. You paid no more than $2,000 for this work, and to ask for $5,000 back clearly shows that you are trying to take advantage which we will not accept. If you feel that you have a strong case, we suggest that you take us to court and we will allow a judge to decide if you are owed $5,000 or anything at all. Once again, we stand by our work, and will continue to service you if anything plumbing related is not to your satisfaction.
Thank you

We are in receipt of your complaint. This complaint is also the same review posted by customer on [redacted]. We have offered to come out once again and provide the customer with another inspection that may or may not meet his needs. We are not going to provide any refunds because we are making an effort...

to resolve this by coming out and providing with a second inspection. For some reason he continues to reject that offer. He signed the invoice given by technician who did not ever intimidate him. There where witnesses at the job site who include his real estate agent and customer's girlfriend. Dispatcher is also a witness that when she took the credit card information over the phone customer was happy and even joking around. We suspect customer spoke to someone after the job was done who told him that we were too expensive. We provided the customer with an estimate before doing the job and he accepted. If customer is not satisfied with our inspection we would like to come out once more and do the work once more in order to make the customer content. However, he indicated to us that if we did not refund him the money in full, he would write a bad review. We do not pay for reviews at DrainHelp.com so we declined his offer. Customer then wrote untrue statements on [redacted] which we suspect were done out of anger. We hope that the customer has had time now to reflect and will accept our offer.
Thank you

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.
First of all, I would gladly pay $485 if it was a septic system inspection in which I could have seen the condition of the tank(s), leech line, and the entire system. I did not get a view of any of theses...I got to see the main sewer line and that is all.....nothing more, nothing less. I have the video to show it. I called them specifically for a septic inspection - they quoted me $250 which seemed low based on research I did on the web, but told them as long as it was thorough and accurate, I would accept. They confirmed it would be so I proceeded to allow them to come.
What they did was no where close to a septic inspection as [redacted] the plumber could not even locate the septic tank. He was agitated when I asked if he really knew what he was doing and got an attitude that of course he knows. He told me for $485 total, he would stick the camera in the main sewage line, feed it through all the way to the septic tank and down thru the leech line. Once he stuck the camera in, and it would not go any further, he proclaimed the tank was full and needed to be pumped. I joked with him that it was not worth $485 and he was visibly upset at the situation. On many occasions, my girlfriend asked if the price would be reduced since we did not even see any of the septic system, but [redacted] changed the subject each time. He was very obviously dodging the questions, and I was afraid he was going to freak out on us. On more than one occasion, the home inspector who was there at the same time asked us what the plumber was doing as he wasnt even close to the septic system.
[redacted] actually was the one who called in to his office with my credit card in his hand. I was intimidated and irritated at that point that I knew we were getting ripped off, as was my girlfriend and realtor. While the response stated, we were joking around, that is absolutely incorrect. [redacted] was the one talking on the phone and making it seem like everything was fine. I even let him use my phone as I was afraid of him.
My point of writing the [redacted] review, this Revdex.com complaint, and further action is because Drainhelp.com has frauded more than a few folks and there will be more to come. I want them stopped now.
Regards,
[redacted]

I hired a licensed plumber to do work, if he could not perform the work or did not know how to do it , then he should not have done it, he stated he does the work, knows what he is doing, has people, done it before, guarantees his work , not a problem will come back and fix if anything is wrong, came back and said no problem I knew the guy did the compacting wrong the first time, wasted three weeks of my time and decides he will not do the work correctly and fix the problem. The owner lied numerous times and has failed to back up his warranty and work performed.  I need $5k to hire other professionals who know what they are doing to get the work corrected and to repair the pavers work that was done.  Professional plumbers always have to dig in the ground to do repair work, now [redacted] just admitted he could not do the work the first time so should not have done it and lied to us to get the job in the first place.  I would like to be reimbursed the money and get this resolved asap, do not need my yard getting worse for poor workmanship by drain help.  Once again if you are not able to do digging and compacting work then they should not have accepted the work and not have said that they can do it, complete flat out lie and scam.

Once again, the company has not yet called to set a date to come out to do the inspection and Revdex.com has closed my complaint.  What to do in this case?  If Drain Help does not want to call me to set a date, that's fine.  They are welcome to just come over and inspect.  My property is not gated and what they are looking for is very obvious.  What do you suggest?  Sometimes I wonder if Drain Help does this on purpose so one gives up on them.  After all, the last time I spoke to the tech. he did tell me he had been through this several times (Mmmmmmm).
