I do not need a septic inspection now.....I needed it that weekend so I could have all records when attempting to purchase a houseIt is a null point now and why I am still demanding half of the $refundedI will admit I made the most stupid call when I found you guys, and I expect as a professional services company for you to admit 1/blame as you did not complete anything I had called you out to do, nor did you complete the video inspection of the septic tank and leech line as promised would happen by ***If he had said, "I will try my best run my camera thru sewer line and hope to find the tank and leech line and even if I do not it will still cost $485", I would have never agreedI would have cut my loss at that point, paid a reasonable fee for his time to come out there, and I would have called another company to come and perform the septic inspection as needed. If *** truly new how to do septic inspections, he would have been able to locate the septic tankAfter this whole experience with *** knowing what to do, I called around to different septic companies and they stated they would always be able to find the tank by using either county map (they would have looked prior to coming to property), or they would have located main sewer line and following across yard probing with a thin probe as septic tanks always have to be at least feet from the homeIt might take a little while to locate, but they would be able to findThey would also have to dig in most cases and were always equipped to be able to do soIn our case, *** had no idea what he was doing or where he was looking, so he told me his solution was to stick the camera thru the main sewer line, feed it through to the tank and ultimately the leech lineIt would all be video taped so we could use in the inspection reportNever once (and all of my witnesses that were there (including the home inspector) did I inform *** that I wanted the main sewer line inspected for $I agreed to the $if he was able to do as he promised and feed the line into tank, leech line, and provide video and a report that I could useThe silly he report he left was not even a report, it was a hand written statement of items - basically the invoice...nothing near what a septic report should look like. I was nice to tech once again as we were all intimidated of himHis personality was as if he would snap at anytime and get violentI have the witnesses there to back this upAdditionally, he was asked more than once about the service not being complete and not even seeing the septic tank and he would not directly answer the questionHe was agitated and would change the subjectHe would not even look us in the eyeAdditionally, I have contacted my cell phone provider, Verizon, to acquire the phone records from both the call he made calling my credit card number in, as well as the call that *** made to me directly after I posted the *** reviewI admit, I cussed at him once, but that was much after the fact that he exploded on me calling me deragatory names, saying, "file a Revdex.com report.....I have been through that process so many times...I hope you do file one" and telling me that I am going to have bigger problems. This whole mess can be resolved by refunding $If you can not agree to this, an attorney will be contacted and you will be served to appear in small claims court. regards,***

Thank you!
I am in the process of speaking to the customerAt this time I am waiting for her to call me backWe should have this resolved by the end of the week.

Hi there!
We are sorry about the confusion. Please provide a phone number were we can call to schedule to inspection.
Thanks
DrainHelp.com

Thank you for your information. Unfortunately we are not responsible for compacting your dirt. You had a paver contractor come out and not to install tiles but to install pavers. Perhaps you should contact him and ask him to fix the sinking area. We are plumbing contractors only and are responsible...

for your plumbing and nothing else. If you'd like we can come take a look at the toilet as a courtesy and fix it however we are not responsible for any other construction. Nor are we going to issue you a refund. We did in fact state that we could help you fix the pavers as a courtesy because you referred us another job which we are grateful for. However you refused to sign a paper stating that we would no longer be responsible for your construction work and you refused to sign. We are not going to be fixing work that is not plumbing related please understand that. Thank you once again and we hope that you will find this response acceptable. Also, let us know when we can come out and look at the toilet. SincerelyDrain Help

Hi [redacted],So I've decided to give up on this complaint (just what Drain Help wanted).  I'm not getting anywhere with them.  They sure know how to work the system.  However, I would like something added on complaint #[redacted] for the records. On Wed. April 22, 2015 (9:07am) - Drain Help finally calls me.  The dispatcher said there was a tech. available to come out to inspect on this same day between 3:00-4:30pm.  I accept but informed the dispatcher to make sure the tech. arrived on time because I had somewhere to go at 5:00pm.
3:17pm - Drain Help dispatcher calls me again, I was told the tech was stuck at some other job waiting for an inspector.  She said, he didn't think he was going to make it before 5:00pm at my place.  She asked if he could go the next morning.  I said "no" because I had to be at work but I did tell her that I could wait until 6:00pm for the tech. to come over.  The dispatcher said, "Ok, I will call the tech. and let him know."
5:00pm - Dispatcher calls back and says, "Tech. is on his way."  Tech. never showed up and I never received a phone call.  I ended up staying home waiting but had no luck.  I really wanted to get over this and so decided to wait but no one showed up or called.
Please add this to the complaint.  This shows exactly what type of company they are.
Regards,
[redacted]

The company has lied, they are the ones who compacted the space and [redacted] the owner told me is responsible for that, he told me he would fix the error, he told me his worker did not do it correctly, he admitted to me and my husband his worker did poor work, [redacted]s work has nothing to do with anyone else who he keeps blaming.  if the pavers put down were sinking in some other place but they are not it is in the exact place that [redacted] took responsibility for , he gave his word it will be done correctly and was not, he admitted it was not done correctly when he came back and all of a sudden decides to blame someone else and change his mind.  He had someone dig a huge hole to repair a pipe, the hole was poorly compacted, [redacted] admitted it and said he would fix it and repair the pavers  and the next week or so starts blaming someone else , he did not keep his word and did a poor job.  I want $5k so I can hire someone else to do the work properly and to cover my  wasted time.  I gave him the opportunity to complete the work and do it correctly but he failed. if a company can not guarantee their work then something is wrong there.  I should not have to sign something that they wont be responsible, that shows they do poor work and know it,  they want the money for the job and will tell you everything you want to hear but once something happens  they don't want to cover it , that is a scam. thank you[redacted]

Thank you for your response. However we are not responsible for work unrelated to plumbing, we are plumbing contractors and not general contractors. We cannot guarantee work that is not plumbing related. We will stand by our work pertaining to any plumbing we warrantied in this job. You paid no more than $2,000 for this work, and to ask for $5,000 back clearly shows that you are trying to take advantage which we will not accept. If you feel that you have a strong case, we suggest that you take us to court and we will allow a judge to decide if you are owed $5,000 or anything at all. Once again, we stand by our work, and will continue to service you if anything plumbing related is not to your satisfaction. Thank youDrain Help

Thank you for your response. We did exactly what the customer wanted us to do while we were there. When the technician determined that a septic inspection could not be completed due to not being able to find the lid for the septic (nobody knew where the lid was) he informed the customer that a septic pumping company would have to come and find the lid so then he could proceed with the rest of the job. Only pumping companies are able to do this. After  customer was informed he was curious about the shape of his sewer line he asked our technician [redacted] to run the camera from the clean out and provide a video inspection of the shape of the pipe that goes into the septic. Technician then quoted him $485 and the customer agreed to do the work. Technician found a broken sewer line and located it. The line was full of sewage. Customer was grateful for this information and as a matter of fact, our technician broke his phone as it fell out of his pocket when he was running the camera under the tight deck to complete his job. That is why he asked the customer if he could use his phone to make a call to dispatch and inform her about the broken phone. The customer according to the tech was always very nice and let him use his phone that once. When it came time to pay, customer called in the payment himself and spoke to dispatch in a very happy and joking manner as he paid the $485 and said nothing about being dissatisfied. We have to ask ourselves how the customer could be afraid of a technician half his size, while he had his girlfriend and another man there (the realtor) with him? Our technician was alone, and in fact took the call even though it was well over our coverage zone. After the customer posted the [redacted] review, our technician called him and asked him if why he wrote such lies on [redacted] about him. The customer did nothing but yell and curse himself and wanted his money back.
We are still offering to come back after the customer has found the lid (by calling a pumping company) and we will perform a septic inspection for him. We will of course ask to videotape the entire job to ensure quality service and no misunderstandings. We will also request to have at least 3 witnesses present to that the customer can feel safe, and our technician as well.
Thank you

Regards,
[redacted] On Sunday, June 19th, 2016 Drainhelp.com verbally quoted me $2,200.00 for Plumbing work On Monday June 20, 2016 [redacted] from drain help gave me  a bill for $7,485.00 which I disputed immediately. I never signed a written quote for that price or any authorization for an increase from $2,200.00 to $7,485 for work to be done. I also not given a 72 hour right to cancel. California state law states work over $501.00 must be authorized in writing and I did not.
I was threatened in person by Ali and over the phone by [redacted] for fear of a mechanical lien placed on my house and under duress I signed payment via [redacted] that price. In retrospect I should not have.
When I emailed Drainhelp later of the dispute, I was told to send other quotes for the work that was done, so I complied and sent them that information. That totaled $2613.00 and that information was sent via email to drainelp. They disputed and refused these proposals once again.
The difference in price billed and price quoted is $5285.00. Basically I was charged over $1000.00 an hour for plumbing work done at my house.
I feel I was grossly overcharged.
On a side note my drain backed up in the shower again on Saturday July 9, 2016 So this is truly an added problem to the problem already at hand.

Yes, they can come out to inspect.  Please call me so we can...

schedule a day and time ([redacted], please call after 2:30).  However, due to unprofessionalism, I'm requesting a different technician (not Ali) to come out and do the inspection.  Thank youRevdex.com:

Good morning.

Our response is the same. We will not be issuing a refund because the customer agreed to the price before we started the work.

We have tried to talk to customer directly to resolve this complaint but have been unable to do so. Customer claims that our technician only quoted him $2200 and that after the work was done he charged him instead $7500. price. In this case, we have more than 3 witnesses who have certified that the technician gave the customer a price of $7500 to do the emergency work and the customer said " go ahead start right away." After the work was done in our opinion, the customer felt that the amount of hours we put in did not add up to the price we charged and now claimed that we gave him a different price. Customer has also claimed to have received several quotes from other plumbers who would have charged him around $3000 max for this work. We have a signed contract from this customer and although he originally wanted to make payments on his bill, he decided to pay in full in order to avoid a legal mechanical lien filing. Here is a brief description of what we did:By the way, the work was started on Sunday June 19th and finished on Monday June 20th. We do not work on an hourly basis, we simply give a free estimate for the entire job and if customer accepts we do the work.  TypePriceTaxQtyTotalLabortoilet and shower clogged (cast iron pipes), hydro-jetting the line from the roof vent, run 100 ft to the sewer amd water backing up. crawl space inspection, mainline had cracked pipes, kitchen line had cracked pipes, dif down to outside wall of the mainline make a hole to the pipe and blast 50 ft to 70 ft and cleared.
