Complaint: [redacted]
I am rejecting this response because: they have been called several times and no response till now imagine that. Also they only show one building not two, that is not true considering they did both. Plus why not get out here and fix the one they show at least.
Sincerely,
[redacted]

Hello [redacted],Here at Dreams Carports we pride ourselves in servicing our customer as soon as we are able. Your order was received in our office on May 9th, 2017 from the Dealer Clark H[redacted], on the 18th of May you called us to inform that you needed to be placed on HOLD and would inform us as soon as...

you were ready to proceed with installation. On the 28th of July you again called us and informed that you are ready for installation; this again puts you back at the estimated time frame we have, which at that time was approximately 4 - 6 week out. We then had the scheduling department call you on August 16th with an install date for September 2nd which would have been 5 weeks from the date that you called to inform to proceed with installation. You informed our scheduling department that you would be gone on vacation until September 17th and to re-schedule you for the next available date. Since then our schedules have booked up and our lead times have changed to be approximately 6 - 8 weeks out. The scheduling department has you schedule for the week of October 23 -28th still within the lead times that we currently have. We have been mindful of your situation, and have arranged multiple changes to accommodate you. There would be absolutely no need to refund you a deposit, when we have been more than willing to service you and have your order installed. - Dream Management

I am rejecting this response because: According to Dream Carports, we have come to an agreement, however, they have still not followed through with what we agreed upon.Until that happens, I will not withdraw my complaint.
Sincerely,

Mr. [redacted], We apologies for the inconvenience you are having with your carport. Please know that we have NO requests for repairs on either of your two buildings. We will be happy to have them repaired for you but there are certain things that we will need from you.The repair department gave...

you a call yesterday, please ensure to be in-touch with them and provide all necessary requirements in order to issue the repair requests and .Thank you, - Dreams Management

Mr. [redacted],From the information that we researched. All information that you have stated is true. In the situation that the building was off 3" on the bottom, we do have a repair put in to go out and fix that mistake. We do apologize from Dreams Carports that they did not make the measurement...

correctly, but we do stand behind our building and will go out and fix the error. I do understand that it is unbolting and bolting again into your cement, but this does not break your concrete it will leave a small whole but we will fill those. In regards to moving the carport we have given you the price that we charge here. We are aware that it was high and you did not agree so we turned to you speaking with the crew. We do apologize that he has not answered your calls or contacted you back.we are willing to move your building but it will be the charge we spoke about over the phone. thank you.

The employee who spoke to Mr. [redacted] did advise that the check would be sent over to accounting. We have checked with accounting and the check has been mailed out on Friday 12/16. Customer should have received the check by now or should be receiving it soon due to the holidays.

We have already come to a monetary agreement between the customer and us (Dreams Carports & Buildings, Inc.) in regards of the vertical roof issue, in addition to that we have agreed in written form via e-mail with Mr. E[redacted] that we will also return to install the correct size door as...

previously stated on the e-mail, our company prides itself of taking care of our customers and we hope our customer understands that we are doing our best to make him happy.

Mr. [redacted], I just want to be to be clear that the order you placed was not for yourself, but instead for a customer of yours named [redacted]. I can understand your frustration with the long process, but in the conversations we have had with the customer never has he been...

disrespectful, nor offensive about the situation. Yes, this order has taken much longer than needed to be installed. Not because we have not wanted to service Mr. [redacted] but simply because of different, unforeseen situations that have occurred. Twice, not four times, have we scheduled something with your customer. Both of the times, installers situation caused them to not be able to arrive at the location of Mr. [redacted]. For the inconvenience, we offered a discount to the customer and set a new schedule. Once the new schedule was set the customer chose to cancel the order in it fullness. Once an order in cancelled, all plans are cancelled. When you were informed of this you chose to reinstate the order. Which per policy, the order would need to restart the lead times. However, due to the situation we are still trying to schedule someone to proceed with going to the customers location as soon as possible. Now a new schedule has been given to the customer, which he stated that he will not be around for, and that it would not work out for him. A new schedule date is trying to be decided that will work for both our installers and your customer. Again we at Dreams Carports understand the frustration for the wait, but we are striving on getting things scheduled and approved for your customer. Thank you,

Complaint: [redacted]
I am rejecting this response because:Again; still no delivery date (ETA) for building after almost 7 months. No contact. Hang-ups when it is clear I am calling. I worked in trucking industry and logistics. We have had numerous deliveries of large items to our location for our remodel and upgrades. ALL other companies got items here in reasonable time frame. YOUR company stated it was an approximate (8) eight week lead  time for delivery. I have been put in contact with one of your competitors who were able to take order, plan and deliver in less then 30 days. Garage will be up and useable by July 27th. I do thank you for your timely response to Revdex.com incident report. No further action needed.
Sincerely,
[redacted]

[redacted],Again, we apologies for the inconvenience you have had. But multiple times you were scheduled, and multiple times you could not take the schedule. A reimbursement to you of the down-payment will NOT be issued, as we have on our end tried to service and install the building you ordered. If anyone was holding the schedule date behind it was and is yourself. Notes have been received that the scheduling department reached out to you this week to set-up a new install date and you did not want to take it and decided to cancel the order instead. -Dream Management

Complaint: [redacted]
I am rejecting this response because:Why would you call a customer to get the trim color to write it down on an invoice if you were not going to deliver it?   Again, when I first called I said that I needed every thing but the frame. When they E-mailed me an order confirmation (not a contract) I called and said that there was no trim.  I was told not to worry, we know what all you need. I think that when a company from one state sub contracts to a company in another state to do a job in a third state, some thing gets lost in the mix.  I am going to mail you two pictures, I want you to see what this job looks like. I am older and I don't know how to send attachments.
Sincerely,
[redacted]

As previously stated before we're working hard to try to take those panels out to you, now you're acknowledging that you did indeed purchased the 5 extra panels separately which in fact has nothing to do with the original contract I'm referring to the one that states you were given a discount for pick up and self install, we will work on not charging you the $100 return trip fee but only if you also work with us on waiting for the panels so we can have someone go out to the area and deliver them out to you, other than that we can only stick to the original legal sign document that states you will pick up and self install and you are more than welcome to pick up your material on site anytime, we have previously presented our resolution to no avail and as of today we would like for this case to be closed if the customer does not come to a reasonable agreement.  Thank you

Mr. [redacted], The scheduling department has informed me that you have accepted an install date for the customer [redacted]. The installation should occur on July 12th, 2017 with the approximate arrival time between 1 pm and 5 pm. At this time I would like to inform you that your dealership contract has been cancelled with Dreams Carports. Meaning any orders you send will not be accepted. If you have questions regarding so, please feel free to contact our office. Thank you,

Our crew arrived a day early at customers home. Friday May 27. Crew Knocked and called customers phone and no answer or voice mail option. The crew called office and stated they would go eat lunch and come by again to see if customer was available. When they arrived later Friday afternoon there was...

still no one at home. Office attempted to call customer and it would just ring. Crew then told office they would just go on to the next customers and arrive at Mr. [redacted]'s home tomorrow at the scheduled time. Crew arrived on Saturday at 10-11am and stated there was a Gray small sedan parked outside and they knocked and no one came out. They also said they could see the area was marked but customer had dogs that were out in the yard and crew did not want to attempt to go into the yard. They called and knocked for 2 hrs and no one came out or answered the phone. Crew then decided at 1pm to drive back to Rapid City, SD.

Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me.
Sincerely,
[redacted]

Dear [redacted], I apologies for the inconvenience this process has been to you.We can understand your frustration, and we wish there was more for us to do in order to service you.Unfortunately, we have a contract with the installers of the amount of weight we need to met in order for them to...

travel the distance to MT, or in this case to Shelby, MT. If the orders do not meet the required weight limit unfortunately, the waiting time becomes longer. As it would not be worth it for a installer to travel so far for only one order that they might only make for example $600 on. We do tend to service the area of Montana at least three times in the year, as the snow season starts early and last awhile. With this being said, it is only possible to go those three time varying on the amount of orders that are received. The first load that went out this year was in the billings MT area, still too far from where you are located.Regarding your deposit, this is something you would need to discuss with your dealer, as they were the ones who took that down payment, not Dreams Carports. The dealers are not obligated to do any refunds as per the signed contract you made states "No refunds". However, this is a conversation for you to have with them personally and work something out. Again we truly apologies for the inconvenience.

I am rejecting this response because: two months/60 Days is reasonable as we live on the coast. Not another country, so four month in today’s world is far to long a time for any company to get this small job done. My brother builds a 3400 SF Custom built home in SixMonths in the snow.  No refund was done so most would hang in there. What a way to do business. With so many people out of work, and only an hour and one half from Portland this should have been easy for labor.Your also holding up money that most people had in there savings account. You are bad news. We are sorry we ever ordered from this company or believed the sales pitch.
Your gal who answers your phones agreed that four months was a long time. And we never were left messages on either phone. Thats a lie, as even when we called the gal sent the call straight to schedule department and they said “We will call when we have a schedule” and actually hung up after the word schedule. No niceness, and no reason why either it was taking so long. So you haven’t call as you haven’t schedule!  Get it  that’s from your own words!  Not one call!  Liars
Sincerely,
[redacted]

Mr. [redacted], We apologies for the delay you have had. We have spoken to our Repair department and they already have all your details and information to have a crew out and repair all issues with the accessories. At this moment, a repair date has not been decided on but you will...

be informed as soon as we have a schedule. Regarding the price match, it really varies on what it is and how much, we do match price buildings from competitors but we are not obligated to match their prices.-Dream Management

Not sure if you know, but we are located out of Orem, UT not Portland. For us we need to fill up a whole truck of orders within the same area to service. Something that has not happened with your location. You are indicating that we are lying about the calls we have made to you, but they are not lies. We have no reason to lie, and all we have done is be honest on our end. If the person you bought through gave you a different message or idea then we believe your problem is with them for giving you false information. Thank you,
