Dreams Carports & Buildings, Inc. Reviews (57)

Dear [redacted] & [redacted], I have looked further into your contract to see what had occurred. Your order was placed back on August 11th, 2016 through our dealer JK RV Storage; to whom you also gave a full down-payment of $5,895.61. Then a payment for engineer drawings was made to...

Dreams Carports of $2,020.00 as the company paid 50% of your engineer drawings. As per our terms and conditions engineer drawings are non-refundable nor transferable. As well, as stated on the contract, there is no refund on payment 10 days after purchased date. Unfortunately, because the down payment was never given or paid directly to Dreams Carports this matter cannot be negotiated with the company. This is a matter that needs to be directly dealt with JK RV Storage, and is completely out of Dreams Carports hands. Thank you,

Complaint: [redacted]
I am rejecting this response because:See you in court...

Complaint: [redacted]
I am rejecting this response because: I talked with the scheduling individual (Arianna) today (1/24/18) and she was saying it would be the 2nd or 3rd week of March.  I would love to have it between the dates you say but there seems to be a difference here so I have no idea which one to believe.
Sincerely,
[redacted]

Mr. [redacted], Looking through your contract and our notes that we have on file we see that your order was received and approved in our office on September 27, 2017. It has been four months since the original purchased date, and not six months as you stated. I looked through our...

records on phone calls, and we have not received any voice mails from you, we did find several emails from your dealer Courtney from All Steel NW to some of our employees regarding your contract, and one made this last Friday regarding an installation date. I have notes that two of our employees here in the office have called you twice and both times left a voice mail and no call backs were received. Yes, your installation date will take much longer than needed based on the location you are in. This is something All Steel is aware of. At this moment there is still no schedule for installation available for you, which was informed to All Steel NW on January 29, 2018.If you feel the need to cancel your order, you will need to contact All Steel NW - your dealers, and have them place a Cancellation Request with us. Please know that the deposit you made was directly to them, and it is in their decisions to refund your deposit. As stated in Terms and Conditions. Payments are Not -Refundable, but it is up to the dealer to make that decision for themselves. - Dreams Management

Mr. [redacted], Scheduling department has confirmed a date for you for that week. We also hope that everything runs smoothly with our installers, and we hope to have the job completed for you. We did offer you a discount of $200.00 for the trouble and delay, which you accepted.Thank you, -...

Mr. [redacted], We apologies for the delay and the re-schedules that needed to take place. Please understand that the main office and manufacturing plant that services Durango, CO is the Orem, UT location. This is probably the reason as to why you would get calls back from the UT plant.Our...

installers did have several problems with his truck and was unable to make it out on the original scheduled dates. We were able to get a different installer to proceed with the orders. Per our notes, and call history the scheduling manager, Iriana called you on Thursday day and set up the new installation date for Sunday; you informed her that you would get back to her to confirm. On Friday morning you called back and informed her you would be ready on Sunday for installation. While the new crew was out working in CO they called you and said that they were ahead of schedule and can be with you on Saturday instead. You then informed the crew that you were in the hospital for a personal reason and that you had informed Iriana about not taking the schedule anymore.Unfortunately, at this point we are unsure if you have cancelled the order or if you are needing a new schedule. Please contact the office so we can discuss the matter fully. In the event that you wish to cancel please note that there is no refund on down-payments.** Attached is  our Terms and Conditions ** Thank you,

The order the customer placed with Dreams Carports is a Certified 40LBS Ground Snow Load Carport. Any information that was given to the customer at the sales rep location is out of Dreams Carports control. The Dealer tried to assist customer in getting a larger snow load to try and reach city code....

Cache county code is 50LBS Ground Snow Load. Dreams, (I called building department) Carports does not offer this snow load. We offer a higher snow load 60LBS Ground Snow Load. When customer call in to purchase Engineer Drawings our representative of that department did ask the customer if he knew the city code. Customer did not have the information. Dreams Carports does not keep track of the snow loads in each county. We service more than 10 States.  When the customer did not have this information the employee did advise that it would be better if he asked what it was to make sure the building he was purchasing was to his city code. Customer got upset and started to use foul language. The employee respectfully advised that if he could not keep the conversation professional she would hang up. Customer Reimer kept with the foul language and the employee advised again to not speak to her in that way and was now disconnecting. Customer paid to Dreams Carports the $270 for the Engineer Drawings. There will be no refund due to the engineer drawings were given to the customer to the snow load that he requested.

Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me.

[redacted] thank you maybe they will be more accommodating to customers now we have canceled our order from them

[redacted], We apologies for the inconvenience you have had with the installation. We at Dreams Carports truly understand your frustrations. We know the process for your repairs were much lengthier than needed, sometimes unforeseen events occur which cause the delay. It is our understanding that we...

have kept in good communications with you in informing you of specific situations that were occurring and of re-schedules that worked for both yourself and our installers.  We also know, that the installer that had his accident, did end up arriving at your location 2 days after the scheduled date and that he did complete all the necessaries repair. Thank you,

We do apologize for all the inconvenience this has caused to our customer.  This area of Nebraska is a longer time frame than the 6-8 weeks due to that we just recently started covering all of the state of Nebraska. We did have the crew out there the week of July 25th-30th. Our crew had 13...

customer orders on his trailer. Out of those 13 he was able to do 7 and unfortunately his truck broke down. He did look into getting it fixed in the city he was but it would take up to a week for him to get his truck back. We did contact the customer [redacted] in regards to this issue, and let him know we would try and reschedule him as soon as we were able to be back in the area. We did reschedule them for the week of Aug 22nd-27th. We were able to get them on a schedule for the weekend, due to our crew still not being back from his previous job. The crew loaded all material on Friday to be out Sat- Mon to install all buildings that were on his trailer. Saturday morning an employee from our office received a call from the head of crew who was a different crew from the previous schedule time. He stated to him that on his way to Nebraska and no longer in the state of South Dakota his truck broke down. Being that it was Saturday he would have to wait until Monday to get the truck into a Mechanic Shop to be able to diagnose the problem with the vehicle. Saturday the employee who was working, contacted everyone on the schedule from that trailer and notified. We do apologize these situations are out of the hands of the office. We have all crews make sure their truck and trailer is in working condition before the load all material and head out to the first customers. We are trying our best to get a crew out to the area as soon as possible.

We did look into this order. The pricing that was given to the third party only included Roofing panels. It did not include any Labor which is something we will always charge. Not sure if the Sales Rep Requested just a drop off or if they requested labor to be included.  We did have Silvia...

contact customer to get trim color to make sure we had it written down on invoice. We do apologize if Silvia gave the information that the Trim would be replaced. The trim can be replaced at an additional cost. Please refer to the contract you had with Elephant Structures it states Panels to be replaced on Roof and Gable. It never stated any Trim to be Replaced.

Order for Ms. [redacted] was received in the office on 09/01/2016, the order takes 2-3 days to be processed. Order was processed on the same day of 09/01/2016.  Lead Time for all of the state of Utah on 09/01/2016 was 6-8 weeks.  The information given to the customer of 30 days for...

installation is incorrect and Dreams Carports is unaware of of where this information was given to the customer. Ms. [redacted] was scheduled and installed the week of Oct 17-22nd. This is in the 6-8 weeks that the order was in the scheduling department.  We did receive the call from Ms. [redacted] about the trim of her building and anchors the day after of the installation. We did put a repair in for the same crew or a different crew to go out and re do anything necessary to the building.  Once there is a repair in for a existing building it is treated similar to a new order and it gets scheduled for the same crew or a different crew to go fix.  Lead time occurs again at the 6-8 weeks, due to us just recently being out in her area it does get difficult to be out in the area quickly. Dreams Carports General Manager has spoken and we have came to an agreement to what the customer is requesting. We have the crew to arrive at the location Today 13th to do the repairs that are needed on her building. We understand the frustration for the customers animals to be covered for the winter weather and we are doing everything possible to have the repair complete.

We're really sorry about the situation and we're working hard to get you on the schedule as of today we can possibly have you down for the week of July 18th-22nd if this is acceptable to you, here's the situation as it was explained to me when the scheduling department confirmed the original order...

with your wife she never stated that the siding was part of the items you weren't able to pick up for the original order, in addition to this the 10% that you received as a discount for pickup was never added back to the price of such materials which means you still owe for the first order which by the way would have incur on the $100 fee anyways, the delivery fee was for the extra panels that you purchased not for the ones you didn't pick up originally, as of this point the previous stated date is the soonest we can have someone delivering those panels out to you or we can always stick to the original contract of you picking up the materials which you can pick up at anytime which would expedite the process for you. Let's us know how you'd like to proceed but paying the $100 return trip fee is required for us to deliver those panels out to you or like we have previously stated you're more than welcome to pick them up at anytime as per the written contract agreement between you and us.

By signing and agreeing to the contract you agreed to those terms whether you read them or not. On the front page of the contract where you signed, and dated it is clearly written "NO REFUNDS AFTER 10 DAYS" and it even tells you that there is a second page to the contract. Before signing you should have read that and immediately requested the terms of your contract. The dealer you went through has these contracts and the terms and conditions on hand. You will also read "Call Seller at 877-670-7678 if you believe the Dealer is asking for more than 10% of the total price." & "In no event will Dreams Carports I, Inc. be responsible to refund deposits collected by Dealer." Thank you,-Dreams Management

The repair department was able to find the two orders your have, the first building you got from us was filed in our old system ways. But our employee was able to find them and will be in touch with you regarding repairs of your buildings. What we have been discussing is the fact that there is no records or phone calls received from yourself our the customer who ordered the building regarding a repair needed. We will be happy to get your repair completed but you will need to provide the repair department with all necessary requirements before we proceed. Thank you, - Dreams Management

The date we just gave you is the correct date! Scheduling was able to move the load up to the week of Feb 26 - March 2nd. Thank you,

[redacted],  we apologies for the inconvenience you have had with having your installation completed. At times, unforeseen situations occur causing schedules to be delayed. We strive daily to keep in contact throughout the day with our sub-contracted installers to see how they are...

doing, and where needed we reschedule their customers. However, if the do not inform us of any delays nor or any problems, it becomes very difficult for us to inform our customers. We will be gladly looking into this further to come up with a better solution, in order to better inform and up-date our customers. However, the down-payment in unfortunately not refundable no matter the circumstance. Therefore, Dreams Carports will not be refunding your down-payment, nor your dealer.  Thank you,
