Drivers Education Driving School Reviews (72)

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.
This response is a joke. He needs to run a reputable business. He makes a lot of untrue accusations and I am not going to go back and forth with his lies. He offered no resolution and I have already filed a formal complaint with the DMV. If your unsure about his company all you have to do is check out ALL the reviews for yourself. There are dozens if not hundreds out there. They all pretty much say the same thing. The only common denominator is [redacted] , but according to him it's ALL the customers who are wrong. This company is a joke and he is ripping people off .
Regards,
[redacted]

I invite all customers to look at my CONTACT page on my website. This has all my rules, regulations and terms of service. Every page on the bottom does say NO REFUNDS. My Driving School contract that she SIGNED say's no refunds !!!.  This customer clearly makes no sense. Her daughter received her driving permit many 6 Months ago. All teens have to sign up for Drivers Training when they get their driving permits. Not 6 Months later. You can"t have your permit for 6 Months then go to Driving School. All teens need to put in 60 Hrs of practice with their parents. During the 6 Months this comes out to about 20 Minuets a day. She thought she was going to have her daughter take Drivers Training then go to her Driving test. She was not following the Ca. DMV's rules that she read and signed or mine that she read and signed. I do not appreciate her drama or any drama from interesting personalities. Thank You, Drivers Ed...

[redacted] has breached the contract and therefore I request for a full refund due to uncompleted services as stated below:
First of all, if he had given us 6 hours of driving like we paid for, I'd be more than welcome to pay him the amount of money, despite his hostile attitude. However, my daughter has only received 40 minutes of the supposed 2 hours, where he made my daughter do personal errands such as picking up his coffee, being parked at a parking lot so he can do other customer's paperwork, and picking up another girl at Lake Forest by driving on the freeway. These should be done on his own time, not during my daughter's time of learning. My daughter therefore only got 40 minutes out of the 6 hours of driving training that I paid him for. He was not only unprofessional in his teaching, but did not even complete the 6 hours of training that I paid $229 for. Not only did my daughter not receive complete service and taught properly, but we also wasted almost three valuable months (last lesson: 11/16/13) of getting trained for her license. She only has 2 months now to receive her license (test date: 4/23/14) or else my daughter will have to go through the whole permit test again. I am not trying to cause drama like [redacted] stated, but I'm only trying to get my money's worth. His intent is to swindle me for money. He is practicing fraudulent business and I'm not the first he's done this to.
I have attached documents that prove that my daughter did not complete her 6 hours worth of driving training, our phone calls to [redacted] (which he did not respond to), and yelp reviews that show that I'm not the only one being scammed.
Thank you.

This parent did not address any part of my original response. I was very clear and detailed in my writing. The truth always prevails. She just indicates I yelled at her 17 year old daughter. I again will point out their drama causing actions over a 30 second phone call that was a bad connection with their daughter. We were still able to hear each other though. The fact that she wants to point out other unhappy people on-line to bolster her position is unacceptable. She should stick to her own private situation. We do have a valid verbal contract. Drivers Ed does understand when some people are causing drama they will over exaggerate the truth. We will defend our selves. Some people like to play the customer card and call us rude. We will always adhere to our true version of events and verbal and written contracts. We will not be bullied by bad personalities causing drama and writing all types of bad reviews. No refunds. Thank you. Drivers Ed...

There was no resolution only lies, which if you check his history on yelp, google reveiws and the previous complaints on the Revdex.com confirm my position.  We were never charged any additional fees, so I am not sure why he made this up. From previous complaints and reviews you can note that this company owner has a history of anger problems and has demonstrated this quite clearly in both my daughter and my presence. The only reason we would go through the hassle of enrolling my child in another Driving School is my daughter nor I can trust this individual.  When I enrolled my child in a new driving school they told me that they were familiar with [redacted] and the problems from previous his clients coming to them, describing the same issues. Whether or not I receive a refund,  I believe this person should not be in this business and should seek a psychiatric evaluation.

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID 10001393, and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.
I have not asked this business for a refund as I do understand from his website that he does not offer them. I stated in my original complaint that I am going directly to my bank and having them handle it. The money is beside the point. I can tell from the message left by the business AS WELL AS the call and subsequent voicemail that I received this morning at 5:20AM that he simply doesn't get what the majority of people online and in these complaints are stating about his company and his character.  The mere fact that he deemed it okay to call me at all let alone in the wee hours of the morning shows his lack of respect and civility. He directed me to look at the paperwork and see where it says to sign up with a driving school ASAP. Nowhere on the paperwork does it state this. It DOES state that her permit is not valid until the first lesson. There are several companies that offer the required 6 hours of official behind-the-wheel in succession as opposed to spacing them out over time. The supposed 6-month waiting term from the first lesson is something that he has imposed in his own company. The official wait time of 6 months is from the date the permit is issued NOT from the date of the first lesson. I am not sure what he means by 20 minutes a day. My daughter - since her first lesson - has been driving almost every day for at least an hour to two hours a day. It is my business to see that this gets done on OUR terms, not his. All of this DOES NOT give [redacted] the right to treat me or any of his customers with flagrant disrespect. He does not get to tell me to shut up and yell at me over the phone. I did nothing to deserve his treatment when all I was doing was questioning his terms. I was nice and approachable. His temper was flared very easily and very quickly. I am not the only one to complain of this judging by other online and Revdex.com responses. This complaint was never about money. I would rather sacrifice the $199 (plus ALL subsequent FEES) than have to deal with someone with so little regard on how to treat another human being, especially one he is providing a service to. I can only hope that one day he will see while most of the complaints are about his self-imposed terms, the majority of the complaints about him are about his attitude, demeanor, and lack of respect. Thank you for your time.

This Driving School has a valid signed legal Driving School contract with this parent. The terms of service will be followed. This is factual evidence for anyone to see. This parent causes problems. When they are confronted with the facts of their problem causing situation, they state anger issues. This is actually a Driving School being upfront and not taking any abuse by a parent. Again this parents attitude and actions  were unacceptable. This Driving School has dealt with thousands of families over the years who behave appropriatley. We have 20 years to back up our business practices. There are going to he some parents who behave badly in a contractual agreement for Driving School services. This is just apart of operating a Driving School for teens. Some parents just cause dramatic situations. Drivers Ed looks forward to teaching all of our normal behaving parents who have valid legal signed Driving School contracts. Drivers Ed provides all services and adhere's to it's in depth written contracts.

Drivers Ed Appreciates all of it's customers and their feedback. This parent may have some legal action coming. Easy Win. 1. Scam Artist ? Look up the definition ! 2. Like other businesses I have 2 website names. They...

point to the same place. Plus one is discontinued. 3. Drivers Ed does not make anyone sign a Driving School contract. If you pay for services, then yes we have a contract for a customer to sign just like other businesses. Your welcome to make a copy of it and even download a copy from our website's *Policy tab page. 4. Yes, there is a $45 fee if you wait to long to schedule a driving lesson. This helps keep people on track. All Driving Schools have rules. We rarely have to charge anyone. 5. This parent waited to long and had this contractual fee to pay. All this drama over $45. They should have called sooner. They clearly owe the contractual fee! Drivers Ed will not be slandered and called a scam artist. This parent will be held accountable. Drivers Ed provides services for a fair price. We bring all teens back home safe, trained and more knowledgeable about driving. We protect our teen drivers, our car and the general public from any and all harm. This parents exaggerated, outrageous and over the top comments are unacceptable. We do notice they wanted to schedule another driving lesson but for the $45. That's because their teen was trained properly and they were happy with the first driving lesson. That's what we are paid to do. Thank You Drivers Ed..

Drivers Ed has a NO-REFUND POLICY...

The BCA & Revdex.com show a positive rating for me indicating I try to resolve any and all customer conflicts. They show I make a good faith effort in my actions and follow my websites policies, rules, regulations, terms of service and Driving School contracts. Drivers Ed will not be bullied, slandered or belittled by an any aggressive parents. Thank You, Drivers Ed...

This parent had her daughter take 30 hrs of Drivers Education on-line. Her daughter received a pink completion certificate. This Mother had to sign the bottom of this certificate. She then had to take her daughter down to the DMV. She had to sign an application form for the DMV. Her daughter then...

received her driving permit after passing the DMV written test. All 3 papers state the driving permit is not valid until the 1st driving lesson is given by a Driving School Instructor.  All teens under 18 have to have their 1st driving lesson when they receive their driving permits to make it valid. She waited about 4 months to start. Besides the 6 month rule, all teens have to put in 60 hours of practice. That would be around 20 min a day during the 6 months. If you don't start on time, you can't finish on time. 2 months left is not enough time to practice. This is DMV regulation. This is on my website and Driving School contract. She states no contract was signed. I have a CONTRACT signed by her !!! She had no problem with me teaching her daughter. I never heard any complaints. Only because I'm going to insist she follow DMV regulations, she is making up extra problems. She has to follow the rules like all other parents in Ca. I do not provide refunds. I provide driving lessons. I do not appreciate her drama. I follow DMV regulations and my signed legal Driving School contracts. Her whole complaint is absurd.  I provide a great service to the community for a reasonable price. Thank you Drivers Ed...

Review: [redacted] is very hard to reach and when contact is finally made he is very disrespectful. He has scheduled several appointments and not showed up or contacted us, in fact he gets upset that we bothered him or that we waited to long to contact him after he no showed. I believe this is a tactic to intimidate us and not provide the services that we already paid for. I have tried several times to get him to finish the driving hours and provide the certificate as was agreed at the time of payment but after he has harassed my husband calling excessively just to yell at him for trying to get the hours scheduled after [redacted] did not show up for his scheduled appointment, I do not feel comfortable with my child in the vehicle.Desired Settlement: For safety purposes a refund would be more appropriate. After being so disrespectfully to adults I fear what he will be like with a teen. For fear of retaliation a refund is the best course or if no refund provided the services should be delivered by another instructor at cost to [redacted] since he has taken full payment but not provided the service.

Review: [redacted] was an hour late to the first meeting and didn't call to let us know. When I brought up the issue he was unapologetic and said sometimes things happen. Well since we had already paid, we thought we give him another chance. Once our daughter came back from the first session, she was asking if we could get another driving instructor. She said he was very difficult to understand would say things once and get angry if she didn't pick it up. I thought well maybe she was just overreacting so we set up the second session against my daughter desire. The appt. was set for 7pm on 12/8/14. [redacted] contacted my wife and stated he would be fifteen minutes late. He then showed up a few minutes to 8. Thinking this is probably to late for her to begin a 2 hr lesson as she needed to get her sleep as she had to get up early for school. I thought maybe we should reschedule, in the course of conversation with [redacted], he actually proposed that we rescheduled so I quickly agreed. It was then [redacted] began to lecture me about the fact that he shouldn't have to reschedule and became extremely argumentative and angry right in front of me and my daughter. This immediately confirmed my daughters description on how mean he is. I should have believed my daughter to begin with. I can no longer allow my daughter to be in the presence of such an unstable, angry personality. Both for the safety and the sanity of my daughter, an child under my protection, we can no longer allow her to be in the presence of this individual in a car for 2 hours. Since the service he offers has no other instructors and I believe this man to be unstable, in effect, his product is defective and we request a refund. We can not take any of the hours from the first session to another company and we will have start over.Desired Settlement: $[redacted]

This family read and signed my Driving School contract. It does say times and dates are sublect to change. All the comments he is stating are eronious lies and over exaggerations. I showed up for our scheduled appt. I did call and talked to my student, the daughter. I showed up on the new agreed to time. I never recieved a call about wanting to reschedule this 2nd appt. This parent is mad because he $** for waiting to long to schedule the 2nd appt and cancelling the same day at the front door. I stick to my signed contracts. Fee's are do and their are no refunds. I have been teaching teens for 20 years. This parent was very bad to deal with !

Review: Signed up for drivers education and behind the wheel training for my son based on the online description. The advertisement read $209.00 for online drivers ed and 6 hrs of behind the wheel training. At every stage of the Programme it was tiresome from gating registered to doing the course on line. After getting through it it it took me 3 calls of leaving messages over a week period to even get a response to schedule the first behind the wheel training. When the owner finally called back he said I had to pay additional $10 dollars for gas money for each training. When I asked it was not on the advertisement he replied very rudely that it was on the right corner of the advertisement, I looked for it could not find anything however I had to go to the policies to find out all the hidden charges which were not mentioned in $209.00 price. Leaving aside this I asked if he is punctual at which point he was yelling at me for even asking the question and then saying that he doesn't know when he will be there. On the first day of the scheduled appointment he called 2 hrs before the appointment to cancel it. We rescheduled it for another day. On the day of, after waiting for an hour we called to find out why he was an hour late, he turned it around and blamed us for not calling fifteen minutes after he had not showed up. My husband tried to reason that we had paid and deserved the service we had signed up for, after going back and forth he said he was not going to come that day and to reschedule it for another day. By then both my husband and myself had enough of him. We were too scarred to send our son with him. We looked up on yelp to find out that I was not the only one with these grievances. He has a non refundable policy and has no problem taking full advantage of people like us.Desired Settlement: I would like my $209.00 back

Drivers Ed appreciates all of it's customers and their feedback. 1. Tiresome to register and do a 30 hour DMV required Drivers Ed course on-line. Who took the course the parent or the teen ? 2. 3 calls over a week, how about try calling in 1 day. It may take a couple of calls both ways. The parent has to answer the phone as well. We are all busy. 4. The $10 for gas is on our policy page. This parent can read everything on our website but that ? The asterik on the *$209 pertains to that. It's very clear to all other parents ! They say hidden charges ??? 5. To ask if we would be punctual and be extra pushy about it is not how any other parents act. We will not tolerate such behavior. 6. Our website, verbal and written contract does state "Times and Dates are subject to change ! 7. The address we had was wrong. we waited in the City for an hour. Most parents that concerned, remember he likes people to be on time would call a few minutes after the scheduled pick-up. He actually waited an entire hour to call. If he would have called sooner we could have been there. We do have other teen drivers to take care of. 8. Scared ? because Drivers Ed will not tolerate an irate parent on the phone acting unreasonably. They chose to stop the service not us ! Drivers Ed does not appreciate the dramatics caused from these parents. Drivers Ed offers an affordable price for Drivers Ed & Drivers Training. We take great pride that we bring all teens home safe, trained & more knowledgeable about driving. We protect our teens, our vehicle and the public from any accidents. We have a great liability in this business. We follow our website, rules, regulations, terms, conditions, verbal and written contracts. No Refunds. Thank you Drivers Ed...

Review: This "business" run by [redacted], is a scam. We never received services, thank God, because he didn't show up at noon, when we scheduled our first drivers education appointment for my 17 year old daughter. He called her cell phone at 12:45, proceeded to bully her, demean her, made her cry, then told her "well I'm on my way now!" She said "what? You're on your way??" My husband heard that and grabbed the phone and told [redacted] that my daughter was afraid to get in the car with him and don't bother coming here. [redacted] said "teenagers are emotional" my husband said "You are going to make an emotional teenager cry, upset her, then take her on the road with a CAR and let her drive? That is unprofessional and unacceptable! Do not come here" He did not show up. Unfortunately I was irresponsible and did NOT look at reviews of this company first. I can only hope that since he did not give us any services, and I did not sign any verbal or written contract, that it will get my money back. What I can hope for is that I can generate enough noise to have this jerk lose his drivers education license and NOT be able to keep changing business names and scamming people OVER AND OVER again! I can't believe this has been going on since 2009 and he still continues to do business. The system has to be able to do something to not have our children berated and endangered by this man!!Desired Settlement: I want this man, [redacted] from Brea, California, with the business name Drivers Education driving school, STOPPED FROM EVER DOING BUSINESS AGAIN! Please tell me how to do this? He should NOT be allowed to interact with minors, let alone DRIVE with them! The reviews are SCATHING and it is deplorable that the California DMV is not cracking down, or at least INVESTIGATING something like this!

Response:

This family contracted with my licensed Driving School for

Drivers Training for their 17 year old daughter.

This was after finding and reading my Driving School websites rules,

regulations and terms of service. They made a verbal agreement and paid the program

fee. There was an appointment set at 12pm on Saturday March 8th. I had called and left a message about running

a half hour late. MY website does say “Times & Dates are subject to change”

I may have left a message at the wrong number.

I called again at 12:25pm and spoke with their daughter. There was a bad

connection on the phone. I had told her I was a few mineuts a way. Their

daughter kept asking me when I would be there. I asked her if she could hear me. I would be

there in a few minutes. We had a 30 second phone call. The father never grabbed

the phone. We had hung up. I arrived on

their street which was rather long. I could not find their street address. I

called again. Their daughter answered again and was not crying ! She gave the

phone to her father who was out of control with anger. He started yelling at me

and using profanity. He said his daughter was crying and afraid ??? I tried to

explain I only had a 30 second conversation with his daughter. He would not

listen or behave like an adult parent. I asked him to stop using foul language.

He said he was an adult and could talk any way he wanted to. I think his

daughter was just afraid to drive. I never met his daughter before. I would never

let a new teen driver get behind the wheel if I knew they were scared. She is 17 years old and cries over a 30 second

phone call and becomes afraid ??? I just hung up and left. I did try to call

back and resolve the situation. I was met with profanity again. I only left

their street after all the laiden profanity directed at me. I drove to my next

student’s house and conducted a new driving lesson without any drama. I tried to call back yet again on Monday the

10th of March to resolve the situation and was promptly hung up on by their

daughter. I then receive a bad review claiming I’m harassing them. It also states

they have my live phone call with their daughter recorded. This would be

against the law. If that was the case, they would see how simple it was. As my website states there are no refunds. This is on every page. The amount of drama

from this family is outrageous. The over exaggerations, lies and harassment are

unacceptable. They want to generate

enough noise to put me out of business.

They seem to have the attitude of “If a business makes me unhappy, they

should be out of business”. I have been teaching teens how to drive for more

than 20 years. The fact that I have some bad reviews out of thousands upon

thousands of teens I have taught is par for the course. I think it is interesting that over a 30

second phone call, these parents want me out of business. I’m sure they never

bothered to read any of my responses to the negative reviews I receive. I deal with some

real hard personalities at times. I bring back all my teen drivers safe,

skilled and more knowledgeable about driving.

I protect my teens, my car and the general public from any injury or

accidents. I provide a valuable service to the community for a fair price. The

DMV is well aware of the types of families that like to complain. There are

1,000 Driving Schools in Ca. The DMV is quite aware. All Driving Schools have

people just like this. All Driving Schools do. I am a private business. Drivers Ed will continue to train students

daily, weekly and monthly. We have a proven track record. We have taught

thousands. Not everyone is going to be happy. All their comments will be saved

for future reference. As a good Driving

School does, I like to respond back to every negative action I receive. This

family is on notice. I will be thinking about slander, liable and defamation if

their harassment continues. Thank you. No Refunds. Drivers Ed…

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.

There was no contract signed, verbal or otherwise. There were no services rendered. My daughter was afraid after he called, yelled at her, hung up on her, called back and said he was coming. There was no way we were letting her in the car, upset, with someone who would treat a child like that. Please see the attached pdf showing some of the numerous complaints. He tried to explain away the complaint, I guess if Yelp sees that the business is defending itself, then it will remove the bad review. Too bad this "business" waited so long to respond to the reviews that are CLEARLY saying the same thing that I am saying. The difference is that they SIGNED a contract when he showed up for the first lesson. We never signed anything. As a consumer, I am entitled to my money back for services NOT rendered. I understand that there have been numerous complaints filed with the Revdex.com, I only hope they had a positive outcome.

Here is just one link to some of the reviews:

Drivers Ed appreciates all of it's customers and their feedback. This parent contracted with this Driving School. 1.The Driving School Car is safe. Her Daughter had a complete driving lesson. There were no problems !!! 2. I do pick up my calls on a regular basis, but I am busy. You have to call at an appropriate time of day. The contract and website state it may take a couple of calls both way's. She has to answer her phone as well. We are all busy. 3. Drivers Ed will not tolerate an angry parent on the phone. We will be stern if we have to. 4. This Professional Driving School knows what it is doing. If we have a student go on a freeway then it is proper. A couple off ramps. This student was not scared and did just fine. We have to move around the City. 5. We spend many hours a day teaching. If we need a student to stop so we can use the bathroom and grab a drink, Then it is fine. 6. When a student is done with their 1 or 2 hour driving lesson they are at the next drivers house. The next driver drives them home while practicing a few miles a away. 7. Claimed 40 min ??? we have records to show otherwise. The Mother was home when we came back. This parent never called to complain about any of this. Our website as she clearly points out, also has all of our rules, regulations, terms & conditions. Drivers Ed does not appreciate the dramatic comments from this drama causing parent. We do notice she said nothing about the actual training of the student. Drivers Ed takes great pride in the fact that all of our students come back home safe, trained and more knowledgeable about driving. We have a great liability in teaching teens how to drive. We offer more than an affordable price. We protect the teen, the car & the public from any accidents. Drivers Ed follows and adhere's to it's website, verbal and written contracts. No refunds. We did not agree to give away free driving school services. We can not take back what her daughter has learned. Her comments and drama are outrageous and unacceptable !!! Thank you Drivers Ed...

Review: I am looking for a refund for services that were not professionally fulfilled.

I paid [redacted] the owner with my husbands debit card. He quoted me over the phone $239 he charged our card for $259. I have a copy of his web address that states the class $239. He then told me of hidden fees like 10 cash each lesson. Insisted he never told me that price and precedded to get VERY angry. This was after several calls to talk to him about it. He canceled the lesson at 1pm the day of lesson (appt. was set for 3;30 sat) rescheduled for Mon. at 5. On 4/29 he showed up late to do first lesson with another girl in car. Made personal stops during the lesson (starbucks,Kinkos) leaving teens in the car. Yelled and belittled student drivers while they were driving. Eve honked the horn while student was driving, screaming and cursing other drivers! Returned student after 2 hours and told us to reschedule in 2-3 weeks. I was not comfortable after hearing about his irate emotional abuse to teens to use him any further. My son who is excited to get his drivers license said to please talk to him and we can try again if he guarantees to remain calm and professional. Called to reschedule another appt. and speak with him. After many messages and days later he returned the call to scream at me and belittle me like a child! After, 10-15 min. of listening to him and trying to talk to him like an adult as he literally screamed because I was trying to make an appt. that he thought was too soon, even though that is when HE told us too! He then said I do not have my appointment book and to call back in another 2 weeks and hung up on me. This is unacceptable behavior, I paid you to fulfill a professional service and you did not! He refused to then ever return a phone call for a refund or to let a new drivers course know my son had completed 2 hours with him. I have tried several times to contact him. I refuse to let my teen drive or even be around someone who can not control themselves, or who would emotionally belittle him...PERIOD. Teens are nervous enough when they first start driving you need to stay calm and professional. After witnessing how outrageous Mr. [redacted] was the lessons could not continue for my teens safety! The next school I contacted knew who he was immediately, I didn't even say his name yet. That's how many people came to them with the same complaints! It is your business but I do not feel you did what you were over paid to do in a professional matter. Abuse will NOT be tolerated. No one should have to call you on weeks end time after time to get an appt. for what they paid for. You did not fulfill your obligation. He has also now changed his web address due to so many bad reviews. www.startdriversednow.com is also www.ocdriversed.com , same guy same company! It also says he has A+ on his website with the Revdex.com. Last I looked he is not a member, another false advertisement!Desired Settlement: See Complaint Text

Drivers Ed appreciates all of it's customers and their feedback. 1. She was charged the appropriate price ! 2. How can you TELL someone about hidden fee's. She was informed of our fee's and it's on our website's *Policy tab page she read. 3. Drivers Ed will not tolerate a parent complaining about clearly posted fee's. 4. All times and dates are subject to change as per our website and contract. 5. Showing up late because of traffic. We are a driving school. We had our last student finishing their lesson. 6. Stopping to use the bathroom and get a drink is all normal driving school behavior. We train for many hours in the car a day. 7. Honking the horn to avoid an accident ? What ? 8. Bringing the teen back after a regular driving lesson. That's what we do ! 9. Yes you have to schedule your next driving lesson. 10. Her son had such a bad time ? Yet he wanted to go again, The mother agreed ! 11. Per our contract she needed to wait a certain amount of time between each lesson. She called right away and tried to go outside the contract. Drivers Ed will not tolerate an Irate parent who does not get their way. You have to follow the rules like all other parents do. We will be firm if we have to. 12. Yes drivers does have 2 URL's ? We are not apart of the Revdex.com they were expelled from OC for their own problems. We have an A with the BCA. We never said we were accredited with the Revdex.com. Drivers Ed does not appreciate this pushy parent's exaggerated, outrageous, over the top comments & bad mouthing lies. She contradicts herself in her comments. We take pride in bringing all teens home safe, trained and more knowledgeable about driving. We have a great liability in what we do. Drivers Ed does notice there was no negative comment about her son not being trained properly. He wanted to go again and sh

Review: My daughter just completed her behind the wheel driving instruction classes with this DMV approved company. This is the worst instructor and business owner I have ever encountered. If we had not pre-paid, I would have taken her somewhere else. From the first lesson, the owner Kevin, was verbally abusive to my daughter, the other student drivers in the car, and to me on the phone. He yells at the students, is rude, combatitive, aggressive and scary. And he is teaching young adults to drive? When scheduling the lessons, he was extremely difficult to get hold of, and proceeded to be rude to me on the phone, yell at me and hang up on me.I am a professional who manages a successful Orange County territory and I am a people person. This man is not a people person and should be banned from being allowed in a car unsupervised with teenagers. I feel horrible that my daughter had to endure this and I feel bad for the countless other teens he is verbally abusing.

Review: I signed my son up with [redacted], A School Bus Driver and Trainer, with 20 years of experience, on February 1st, 2016. My son was scheduled to drive a 2hr lesson the same day, he was dropped off after one hr and being told to have the other 1 hr later on.

When I inquired about further lessons being scheduled he started yelling at me on the phone, called me the pushiest person he ever meet, all because I wanted to schedule driving lessons that I had to paid for in advanced. He told me that I have to wait for his phone call to schedule lessons at his convenience and not the other way around. I BELIEVE this is the worst customer service I every experienced in my whole life. I then send him a text message requesting a refund. He then called and left rude threatening messages. I will take him to court to get my money back, in addition I will contact the Better Bureau of business and the DMV regarding his unprofessional service. I regret not having researched this person before hand and my son told me after the first lesson that he was rude, which I should have listen to. Please do not sign your child up with this rude and unprofessional driving instructor.Desired Settlement: I would like to receive an refund for paid and not received service and I would like to receive an apology from Mr, Kevin Cruz for being so rude and unprofessional to my son and me.

Review: I spoke with [redacted], the business owner, on 10/29 to provide behind the wheel driving instruction to my daughter. I hired and paid [redacted] after agree on 3 six hour lessons for $250. He arrived more than 30 minutes late without contact. The second lesson was scheduled for 10/06. [redacted] never showed up or contacted me as I had already paid for the second lesson. On 10/12 I called him at which time he became verbally abusive, began calling me names, and actually said I should have contacted him sooner. I requested a refund as I would not trust someone of his temperament alone with me let alone my daughter. I terminated the call, but he continued calling until I answered my telephone. After terminating the call for a second time I text asking that he cease contacting me and would handle things in businesslike or through legal channels. [redacted] then continued his verbal assault via text even after several request that he cease contact until I had to block his telephone number, preventing him from further harassment.Desired Settlement: A $100.00 refund for services not rendered

Drivers Ed appreciates all of it's customers and their feedback. 1. Drivers Ed does have an A rating at BCA . The Revdex.com chapter got expelled for their own problems. We never said we were accredited. BCA is for all businesses now. 2. Other Fee's listed on *Policy tab page. *$229 ! Yes, Try looking around please. This is also in our contract. 3. *FREE Drivers Ed 30 hours provided you pay for Drivers Training. She did get it for free ! Other driving schools charge up to $100 for it alone. Drivers Ed does not appreciate this parents cheap attitude. Yes, you have to pay for services. We provide our services for a fair price. She could have paid double or triple the cost somewhere else. We do notice there was no negative complaint about her son's training. Because he was trained, instructed & learned.
