Review: Dumpster Central sells dumpster contracts and than hides hidden extra charges which you have no way of knowing the accuracy of such information. Such as additional "tonnage". For example, they will market you a dumpster for $500 and then when you return it charge an additional 300 or more for additional "tonnage". They know up front they will get these additional billings and the customer has no choice of recourse or ability to audit such information. Furthermore, they set the tonnage low on purpose to encourage such behaviour. I would not do business with them again. If they were fair, they would inform their buyers of such hidden costs up front and the implications of them for the size dumpsters being purchased. It is fraudulent and misrepresentation leading to almost 100% different price than what is quoted. Buyer beware.Desired Settlement: They should adjust m bill, which I know won't occurr. I am at their mercey. However, they should change their sales and marketing tactics to better inform the buyer and be more transparent.

Review: I googled dumpster rental in or around my zip code and first ones didn't have dumpster size on date I needed. Dumpster Central was 2nd or 3rd on list. It was difficult to order since I was put on hold several times but "[redacted]" had assured me they had what I needed so I held. He needed a credit card number before anything could be done so I gave. He called back apologizing that he didn't have size I needed because of "all the construction going on in your area" but he was "looking at one in the yard that would be right for what I needed"..so I agreed. He acted like he was right in my area or familiar with it. A driver came and unloaded and everything was fine..I thought. When I received my water/garbage bill, it was higher and there was a large charge under garbage/other. I called and was shocked!! Advised they'd had to put dumpster charge on because the man who said he was my nephew never called back, had given bad information etc. [redacted] had called them and said "his aunt was a hoarder and he was trying to help out by flying in from Florida to clean" !!! It was agreed he would pay for everything and he instructed I wasn't to ever be contacted. When they couldn't run the fake credit card and he never answered, they billed me. Dumpster Central got my money from credit card and stiffed my city utility with charges. The city brought the dumpster, picked it up, took all the contents at their facility. Dumpster Central did nothing but lie and collect money. I was wrong in not digging further but this is the first time I've been scammed. I'm learning. This is some kind of racket run by lying creeps. I've cancelled my credit card and removed their amount. I'm hoping they want to fight this. Between me and the city's attorney, I know they will be exposed. I think they should pay my city utility department and do not attempt to get charges put back on my bill!! They have essentially collected from both of us!

A lady called from Dumpster Central wanting to know why I'd cancelled my credit card payment. I explained everything to her including info that my city attorney was waiting to talk to the. She hung up and when I tried calling back twice I got the usual recording. It's useless trying to contact these scammers.. it's very frustrating. I'm hoping no one else does business with them.

Review: This company rents out dumpsters. I ordered a 20 yard dumpster and was sent a smaller size, 12 yard one. It was their mistake and now they are saying that I asked for the smaller one but on my invoice the 20 yard dumpster is ordered. I specifically asked for the bigger dumpster. The CSR never called back on my complaint and now I am not getting my money back since they already sent the wrong dumpster to my house. I feel that I have been ripped off. IF I would of known that they were going to sent the smaller dumpster then I would of cancelled the order. IF copies are needed that I did order the 20 yard dumpster, I have them. They gave me the bigger dumpster for the price of the smaller one and an extra ton of weight because they did not deliver on the date that I wanted.

This customer originally ordered a 10yd dumpster with 2 tons included but we did not have any 10yds available so we offered a 20yd with 2 tons included and she agreed to it. The day of delivery we sent a 12yd because the 10yd returned damaged from a previous customer. Now the customer is upset that she didnt get the 20yd which was not a difference from the 10yd or 12yd because she was only allowed 2 tons. We apologized and told the customer that she can still use the container and fill up her can with 2 tons like she intended to when she placed the order and the customer said okay she will use the container.She scheduled a final pick-up after she was finish with the container on june **, 2014. We will not issue a full refund to a customer that filled up the container and scheduled a pick-up for us to dump it .

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID# [redacted], and have determined that my complaint has NOT been resolved because:

[I did not agree to the 10 yard dumpster because Dumpster Central promised a 20 yard dumpster like they said in their letter. It is all lies that I had agreed to the 10 yard dumpster. Since I saw on my invoice that they were going to send the 20 yard dumpster, I did not complain at first. The customer service people know that you CAN NOT FILL 2 TONS into a 10 or 12 yard dumpster. It will overflow. Even my contracted roofer knows this. I called for them to pick it up because we did not do any roofing job during that time. THERE'S THE OTHER LIE. So when the company picked up the dumpster, IT WAS EMPTY. We had cancelled the roofing job because of the wrong dumpster. So overall, this company is lying. Thanks anyway for trying but I will not trust this company again. I've just barely found out that this had happened to other people. If I would of had known this sooner, I wouldn't have called Dumpster Central.

Review: We were contacted by Dumpster Central on June **, 2013 at 10:06 am to deliver a container to a customer ([redacted]) located in [redacted]. We delivered the 18 yard container on the same day (6/**/13) to [redacted]'s place of residence. On July *, 2013 we were contacted by a customer service rep from Dumpster Central to have the container picked up. Our driver picked up the container located at [redacted]'s residence and emptied the contents at the Demolition Landfill the same day. I received the landfill ticket on July *, 2013 and invoiced out to Dumpster Central. I have faxed the invoice on the following dates 7/*/13, 10/**/13, 10/**/13, 11/**/13, 11/**/13, 11/**/13, 11/**/13 and 12/**/13. I have emailed the invoice on 7/**/13,10/**/13, 10/**/13 and 11/**/13. I called on 10/**/13 and 10/**/13. I mailed the invoice on 11/**/13 and 12/**/13. The only response I have received (10/**/13) is from [redacted] stating they are not going to pay the invoice. We contacted [redacted] on 10/**/13 to see if he had made payment to Dumpster Central and he stated he did pay them for the service. So, Dumpster Central has received payment from the customer ([redacted]) already and is refusing to pay our company for the use and delivery of our container. At this point the total due is $510.47 which includes our 3.75% credit card fee. We can only accept payment in the form of a credit card payment as the account it over due 133 days past the due date of July **, 2013.Desired Settlement: Payment made in full for the service we provided for Dumpster Central.

Review: I ordered a dumpster to remove trash from a rental property they delivered it same day filled that dumpster called and told them I needed a additional dumpster they picked up filled container dropped off a new one when I filled second dumpster I called told [redacted] its ready for pick up she informed me I needed to print out a form and send it back I informed her I don't have a printer she gave me info I needed to send in a email and send back in order for them to pick up dumpster I did so and have all emails to prove so yet dumpster is still in driveway and now I'm getting fines from the HOA. This customer called to place an order June **, 2014 and was told we need at least 24hrs to deliver. This is the trucking business , anything can happen so we do our best not to promise an exact time. When we could not deliver due to unforeseen issues we refunded this customer in full. The customer called for ETA's and was told she will be called back as soon as we hear from the driver . The customer continuously called every 5 mins for an eta & we do not like to keep our customers on hold for longer than 5 mins. We are not a fraudulent company and do not wish to participate and fraudulent activities. We try our very best to satisfy every customer and make sure every order goes as scheduled!

Review: A 10 yard dumpster was ordered with [redacted]., on 12/**/2013 at the cost of $335.00. Dumpster Central was called to pick up the dumpster on 12/**/2013. The $335.00 was paid in full in advance. The dumpster was delivered as ordered. The dumpster was filled with ordinary household garbage from a storage shed.

Many calls were made to Dumpster Central during the month that the dumpster remained on my property. I attempted to place a tarp over the dumpster, but there were several heavy snowfalls during the time that the dumpster was not retrieved. Finally, on 01/**/2014, I called a number for a company that was printed on a label on the dumpster. The dumpster was picked up by this company on 01/**/2014.

On 01/**/2014, several copies of a $120.00 "Paid in Full" invoice was emailed to me.

On February **, 2014, I received an invoice and I started to receive phone calls demanding additional payments for "2.92 over tonnage" @1.05 per ton, at an additional cost of $305.00.

It is highly unlikely that this tiny dumpster contained this heavy load. Furthermore, the unreliable invoicing makes it likely that the billing is also incorrect.

I am receiving many threatening collection calls, multiple calls daily. I have requested that Dumpster Central stop these menacing, harassing and possibly fraudulent actions.

I respectfully request the assistance of the Revdex.com in resolving this action. Through my research, I have discovered that other individuals have been victimized by the nefarious actions of Dumpster Central.

I was given a verbal aggrement to make a payment for a flat rate dumpster. on may * 379 dollars was taken on june ** the company took another 92.80 cents saying it was over the weight. they lied and told me their contract said it was a extra fee. 6 week later they take money out my account no notification. and my e signeture was not correct and it wasnt the papers I signes.I called talked to [redacted] who would not give me a last name or talk to a supervisor and was very disrespectful and nasty on the phone. This customer ordered a dumpster on may [redacted]. 2014 and signed our invoice that was sent to her May [redacted], 2014 . We sent her the invoice & terms and conditions that we send every customer that ever ordered a dumpster with us . We cannot change the invoice at all , If we have to change pricing, sizing, or ton limit , etc for a customer we have to send them a revised invoice that we have to personally create. The invoice we create cannot be electronically signed because we created it ourself so we ask them to sign the original that was sent so therefore how can the customer electronically sign a different invoice. We sent the invoice & terms and conditions to her email address and the customer has to click on the invoice link to sign it and then click on the terms & conditions link to sign that also. The customer told us she signed the terms & conditions but she signed a different invoice...we would not have received the signed invoice back if she did not sign it ... This customer does not want to pay the over tonnage charge even thou she signed paperwork agreeing to only 1 ton.

Review: On May **, 2013 a 40 yard dumpster was ordered by [redacted] in [redacted], order number [redacted]. A charge of $390.00 was charged on a credit card on that day. On July **, 2013 a charge of $1,245.75 was charged to the same credit card for dumping charges, not for additional days (which there were none,) just dumping charges. I have asked for a copy of the invoice of the dumping charges from the landfill for this $1,245.75 charge but have not received it. I filed a dispute with [redacted] over this charge, however they accepted paperwork sent to them by Dumpster Central and closed the case. I am now filing to have the [redacted]s fraud division look into this matter. It is interesting that in the paperwork that the [redacted] sent me, another customer is also disputing the charges of Dumpster Central. None of the paperwork from Dumpster Central is signed, just misspelled form documentation. Review: I ordered a dumpster from this company couple weeks ago,I paid full before they delivered the dumpster.On last Friday,I signed the forms they need and let them know I need them to pick up the dumpster.A driver called my contractor saying that they will be there before 5,but no one showing on that day.When I called again,they said they are arranged Saturday to pick up,but still no one showed up.On Monday,a [redacted] sent me a email saying that sorry because they are close on weekend,also sent me the final order states that there is zero balance and again has arranged the final removal of the dumpster.I wail until 6 pm on Monday ,still no one showed up,then on Monday night I sent a email to complain about the situation,saying that if the dumpster is still there until tomorrow ,I may file a dispute to my credit card for the payment that I paid already. Review: Dumpster Central is providing no services to me nor providing me with any type of disposal equipment. We agreed on a rental price for a dumpster and the following day Dumpster Rental called to increase the agreed upon rent by $80.00 and reduce the time of rental. I said no thank you. I will find another company to rent from. Even though I made myself perfectly that I had no desire to do business with Dumpster Central, Dumpster Central proceeded to debit my bank account by the sum of $175.00. Review: I rented several dumpsters since May 2014. I prepay for each dumpster. When I called to have them pick up the last dumpster they refused. [redacted] told me I had to pay almost 1200 dollars in overages charges. I told [redacted] that I doubted the dumpsters weighted what they claimed and if any weighed over then I should have been billed those charges after each dumpster was picked up and before a new one was delivered. I have a receipt where I paid for the last dumpster but they sent me another receipt that showed I paid for overtonnage. They now claim I owe for the dumpster on site and until I pay their fraudulent charges I am incurring a 15 dollar per day charge. They threatened to put a lien on my property. Review: I called Dumpster Rental[redacted], Feb[redacted], to inquire about cost of a dumpster that I needed to dispose of roofing materials at my home. I told the rep, [redacted], what I needed and after a few minutes we settled on a dumpster size but he would not give me a price at first. I told him it depended on the cost whether I got it or not. He asked when I needed it delivered and I told him as soon as possible. He said he may be able to get one out to me the same day but that he would check into it and call me back. He called back about 30 to 45 minutes later and said that he was able to schedule one for delivery the same day. I asked again about the cost and he finally told me the price of $430 and that he would wave the taxes but there was a processing fee of $14.70. That was a bit more than I expected and I asked if I could call him back in a few minutes after I thought it over. He said he would call me back in 30 minutes. An hour later, I had not heard from him so I called again. I told him that I was interested in getting the dumpster and asked again if it was still possible to deliver the same day. My thoughts were that if he said no I would have scheduled it for the following [redacted] since I work full time and would not have time to fill the dumpster until the weekend. He assured me that the dumpster would be delivered that same day. When I had not received it by [redacted]. I tried to call the same [redacted] number I originally called and got the automated system. I chose the customer service number (I believe it was 1) but got a message that the voice mail box for [redacted] was full so could not take any more messages and to try my call later. Since their website stated they had 24 - 7 service I tried again later with the same result. I then tried [redacted] and did get [redacted]'s voice mail and left a message. I did not hear from anyone until [redacted] when an extremely rude woman called and asked me where I wanted the dumpster placed. I told her that I had cancelled it since it did no good for me to get it on[redacted]. She was very nasty and kept talking over me as I tried to explain my situation. I realized I would get nowhere with her and told her I did not need to take her abuse and hung up. I then received a call from [redacted] at dumpster central but being at work I didn't get to my cell phone in time. I called back about 45 minutes later and asked for [redacted], as he requested. I was told his manager, [redacted], would take my call. When he got on the phone he said, "This is [redacted]" when I was told his name was [redacted]. I explained the situation to him and he tried to say that I was told the dumpster could not be delivered [redacted] but would be there on[redacted]. He basically called me a liar. Everything that [redacted] told me, '[redacted]' said that [redacted] didn't tell me. He was very argumentative even though I was trying to keep calm and patiently explain to him what was said. I finally told him I was at work and didn't have time to argue with him, he immediately started arguing about that also trying to say I was cancelling because I found a cheaper deal. I told him that no, my only other option was going to be a lot more difficult for me but that he and his company had made me so mad I no longer wanted to do business with them. He kept arguing so again I hung up.Desired Settlement: All I want is for them to credit the $447.20 in full that they charged my credit card. I never had possession of the dumpster and don't feel I owe them anything since they lied to me plus being verbally abusive.

Review: Company flat out lied about the delivery of the dumpster. When myself and wife called about the situation they always had some sort of excuses.

Called to rent a dumpster and this company said they could not deliver dumpster because wires on poles were too low for them to get through. So at that point we went with a smaller dumpster and told them to just to deliver it in front of our property- they gave us a delivery date and a time frame of 10-4pm. I was at that property from 0830-6oopm and no one showed up. When I called them to find out what was going on I was told they could not drop at dumpster at the location. 1st of all THEY NEVER TRIED and then have lame excuses to what happened.Desired Settlement: We have called several times requiring the refund due to us and have not yet received any refund from this company. It got to be every time we called and they knew who it was we would get transferred every single time to a voice mail. Never once received a call back from anyone . It has been aprox 7 months .

Review: Called this company on 5/**/2014 for a dumpster rental. Sales call was fast enough, employee stated that the container would arrive the morning of 5/**/2014

Called on 5/**/2014 at 11am and asked for an ETA as to when the container would get dropped off. Spoke with a female employee who said she could not get in touch with the driver at the moment, but would call me back with the information.

After receiving no call back, I called again at 4:00pm and spoke with a female employee, who said the truck was in east meadow, and that it should be at my residence between 4-5. Then she stated that there were trucks ahead of theirs. I told her in that case there is no way in NY traffic is this container getting here between 4-5, considering it was already 4:05pm. Asked for a refund bc I would not be able to wait any longer for the container. She stated that was fine and hung up.

Several minutes later the company called back, a man who I believe was [redacted] apologized, and said he could give me 20 dollars off and have the container there first thing in the morning. I said this was unacceptable, and asked again that my Credit Card be refunded. He said ok and again apologized, and the call ended.

At around 5pm I received another series of calls from the company. This time I was transferred to another man by [redacted], I again explained that I could not wait all night for this container, that I already waited all day, called in the morning with no response, and that I would not be at the house any longer, and wanted a refund. This person became very rude and disrespectful, asked why I had to be there when the container arrived, and then told me it would be a 250.00 cancellation fee which is not written anywhere. I told him I would not accept delivery of a container to the property without being there to inspect the container and to make sure no structures get damaged during the drop. To this he laughed and said "we can play the what if game all day but that's not my problem"

He then stated that his "notes" indicated that I spoke with someone at 1pm and they gave me a delivery time between 4-6, which is a lie, I did not call or receive a call from the company at all between 11:20pm and 4pm. When I again asked for a refund in full which he denied, I stated I would have to dispute the charge with my cc company, he stated he would charge me 250.00 and send "someone to your house to take a picture to show that we were there". I said you do what you have to do, but if you are not giving me a refund then ill dispute the charges.

This company is very quick to sell you a product, but slow to deliver. I want a full refund as they failed to deliver a service and lied several times. That is not proper way to start a business relationship.Desired Settlement: a refund in full, company could not deliver.

This customer was told an eta bet 4-6 and we have phone records to prove it. The customer says he wants refund and we told him we ask for atleast 24hrs for all deliveries when placing order. The customer signed our invoice & contract stating that he agrees with our terms & conditions. We do ask if you are going to cancel to do it in advance, this customer cancelled the same day of delivery. This customer was refunded and we sent him the receipt to his email.

Review: On July [redacted] I called and ordered a 20 yard dumpster for $494.00 to be delivered at our new home that we just purchased a few days earlier located at [redacted]. The dumpster was to be delivered on Friday August [redacted]. On August [redacted] the full charge of $494.00 was charged to our checking account.

One August [redacted] called and said the girl who made the order for us made a mistake and they can not service our area for dumpsters. But if we could however put all the garbage on the front driveway for a week and they could have a service come pick it up the following Monday Aug [redacted].

I told him I would check if that was going to work. I contacted our HOA and they said absolutely not. We were not to have 20 yards of garbage on our driveway. I called them right away on Friday August [redacted] to inform them that wasn't going to work and to please refund our money since they made a mistake and do not service our area. Monday came and no one contacted us back. Since then I have called 18 times, not counting the times I was somehow disconnected when they put me on hold or nobody ever answered so it would just automatically disconnect you and you would have to call back again. I have sent 4 email to everyone I could find an email for, no response.

Finally on August [redacted] I received a credit to my account for $344.00. Shorted $150.00 I called them back three times that day and sent two additional email and left a message again for [redacted] on his voice mail again of course. No response. The customer service girl who answered one of the times said it was because we canceled and for cancellations they keep $150.00. I told her it was not our doing for the cancellation, that they made a reservation for a dumpster in an area that they do not serve and can not fulfill the contract of delivering us a dumpster and we should not be paying for their mistake. She said she would have someone call me. But Aug ** has gone by and again, no contact by email or phone. I made three additional attempts to contact them today. We are exhausted and requesting your help.Desired Settlement: We would like to have the difference of the $150.00 refunded back to us. They charged us $494.00 for a dumpster, they found out they did not service our area, and gave us an option of having trash sit on our driveway for a week which was not allowed in our neighborhood, so how do they feel they have a right to keep $150.00 of our money for cancelling.? Sounds unethical. Our Desired outcome is that they do what is right and make us whole, which is what should be expected from a consumer from a business.

2. Unable to get any results from speaking to representatives of the Co.

3. Paid for by CC which included delivery and pickup of said dumpster according to contract.

This customer's dumpster was picked up and the price he paid for had 1 ton included and 7 days included in the price , Our contract states you will be charged rental fees if rental limit is exceeded . It also stated that he would be charged overage if he exceeds the weight limit agreed upon , but this customer was not charged for neither . He did not exceed rental days or weight limit. We were unaware that our customer's credit card was hacked and we truly apologize but our company is not the one to blame . We advise him to call his credit card company ,have them take care of that right away and track the location the credit card was used at . Again we just want our customer's satisfied so if this customer has any other problems we ask if you call us at [redacted]
