Review: I paid for a dumpster rental for a 10 yd dumpster. I was charged $364 for that rental. I have not received the dumpster nor can I get ahold of anyone

The purchase was made on Wednesday March [redacted] it was supposed to be delivered on March [redacted]. it has yet to arrive. I have called all 6 telephone numbers that are associated with the company and have not been able to get through. the voice mails say there is an error or they are full. I feel like I was robed of my money and lied to.Desired Settlement: I would like my money back.

Review: I ordered a dumpster from this company & has yet to receive it. They received the money. Every call is sent to a voicemail or I'm told someone will call me back.

Review: I have utilized Dumpster Central for the past year to pick up my trash on a weekly basis. Because the town I moved to does not have their own trash removal service, I was forced to search for a company that would do said weekly trash removal. I did not have a real issue with the service until this past month when my trash barrel was removed from my premises in the middle of the night. I have tried repeatedly, in excess of 30 separate times, to contact the company about the reason behind the removal of the barrel and the discontinuance of service. After numerous voicemails and an email stating I would take action if my calls or emails were not returned, I decided to contact the Revdex.com. Every time I have called, I am met with people that have no answers; They transfer me and the call disconnects nine out of ten times. When I do call, and am transferred to the presumedly correct department without being disconnected, I am always greeted with a prerecorded message stating no one is available at the moment and to leave a message. This has been the theme the entire month of December. On the [redacted] of December I received an email with an invoice stating that a payment of $165.00 was due on January [redacted] for the quarterly payment of my weekly trash service. The entire month of December I have not had this service. I have not received one explanation either by way of email, telephone, or postage mail. Also, the invoice was under a different company's name; "United Garbage Service". The only time the company has sent any notification to me has been in the days just prior to a payment. The quarter prior to this, I missed the due date for a payment because an invoice was never sent to me and I was overdue. They came and took the barrel then, and after weeks of trying to contact them I was able to restore my service and paid what was owed. The entire time I've employed this company it has felt like I am simply in a contract where I pay them money and it matters not if they perform their end of the agreement. This feeling has certainly come to a head with this recent situation and why I've decided to file this complaint.Desired Settlement: I wish to have any and all agreements with Dumpster Central/United Garbage Services terminated. I do not want to receive any phone calls or emails from them in the future in the off chance they believe I still hope to employ their services or they believe I still owe them for services not provided. I am willing to pay for the months of October and November of 2014 for the two months of service I actually did have. I am not willing to pay for the month of December for which I did not, nor any other ridiculous fees that they could levy against me because of this. I have done everything in my power to resolve this situation with the company itself, and after dozens of phone calls, voice messages and a very long email that have not been returned, I have come to the conclusion that it is simply out of my hands. I feel trapped, and honestly, I feel like the entire operation is a scam or fraud. Again, I am willing to pay for their services for the months of October and November, but not for the month of December, and I wish never to be contacted by this company ever again.

Review: Did not pick up dumpster when I called. Gave them the exact times I had called and spoke with someone and they are saying I did not call.

This complaint is for dumpster at [redacted]. I originally called at 10:05 AM (11:05 AM Indiana Time) on Thursday 8/**/14 for pick-up and they told me they would put on schedule. Called again Tuesday, 8/**/14 at 8:02 AM (9:02 AM Indiana Time) and spoke with an [redacted], again told me she would check into this and call me back. She even read my phone number back to me. Called back at 11:57 AM (12:57 PM Indiana Time)and they said I they have no record of me calling and it would take up to 72 hours to have picked up. She would do nothing to help expedite and kept trying to find ways to prove that I hadn't called. I had the exact times I called and the extension # I dialed. They just kept trying to tell me that I did not call and finding ways to prove I didn't. I asked for owner of company's name, they would not give to me. Another lady got on the phone and said the conversation was going no where and hung up on me. They then sent me an invoice for additional days of usage. I would not have additional days if they would have picked up when I originally phoned in Thursday, 8/**/14. I was in tears when I hung up phone due to no one willing to help get this dumpster picked up asap. I had explained the reason I need expedited was because City of Kokomo needs to lay asphalt where dumpster is. I have used them multiple times and will never use them again. The worst customer service I have ever experienced. I had spoken with [redacted] and [redacted] before and they were always helpful.Desired Settlement: I would just like someone to help get this dumpster picked up. It's not about the money, it's about the way they handle business and how no one cares about helping the customer.

Review: Delivered to incorrect address

Overcharged on usage

Dumpster central delivered a dumpster to the wrong address and charged my credit card. I had to call to get it moved. We put very minimal items in it and was charged for overage fees which was crazy. I called to complain and they refused to address the delivery to the wrong location and then the bogus overage charge.

Not sure how this company remains in business.

Still no response to my issues with them.Desired Settlement: I am looking for a refund of the fees charged.

Review: Despite canceling a service agreement within an hour, I was charged a $150 cancellation fee. This was not written in Terms and Conditions form

After arranging service with Dumpster Central, Inc (DCI) via phone (at which time I gave them my credit card number), I was instructed to sign 2 forms. I signed the first, a Terms and Conditions form. However, I did not sign the invoice agreeing to a payment of $364 when I decided to double check this company's record. Online reviews were appalling and they received a Revdex.com rating of "F" so I called and emailed to cancel. Please note that I signed the Terms and Conditions at 10:25 and sent an email canceling at 10:44. They responded by email with a simple "may I ask the reason for cancellation?".

When checking my credit card company, I learned that I was refunded all but $150. When I called DCI I was told this was a cancellation fee. When I asked to speak to a supervisor several times I was transferred to a voice mail but received no return call. I emailed DCI with specific details indicating my rationale for and expectation of a refund, but received no reply. I cancelled this service within 30" (PA law allows contract cancelation within 24 hours). There was no mention in the Terms and Conditions form of a $150 cancellation fee. Had there been such a condition, I would have been much more hesitant to sign it. For that matter, there was no mention of such a fee on the invoice that I did not sign.Desired Settlement: I believe the actions of DCI to be at the very least highly unethical if not downright fraudulent. They incurred only the small cost of paying a salesman for the five minutes it took to arrange the service. The cost was made even more negligible by the fact that I canceled in 19 minutes. But most importantly, a cancellation fee was not written into their Terms and Conditions. Finally, they blatantly refuse to discuss or even acknowledge my complaint.

Review: A 20 yard dumpster was hired to remove debris for the renovation of 1 1/2 bathrooms, none of which had tiles on the walls. We were given 2 tons as part of the contract, before a surcharge for anything over the 4,000 lbs. would come into play.

On the day the dumpster was picked up by "Latin AmericanContainer" (which is the company's name on the dumpster and the name on the weight slip I had Dumpster Central send me), my credit card was charged an additional $311.60 @$95 for the 3 extra tons(6000 lbs.) the dumpster supposedly was over.

I have photos that will be provided upon request showing (as the dumpster was being loaded for removal) the dumpster not even half full.

The weight slip was also doctored (provided upon request)

I paid $528.65 which includes tax plus an additional $20 for the services of the dumpster for the time indicated (4/** thru 5/**/14)

$311.60 was charged to my credit card on 5/**/14.Desired Settlement: I wish to have Dumpster Central provide me with a refund to my credit card.

Review: Dumpster Central customer service will not give me any information about my service or return my calls.

I have weekly trash service with Dumpster Central. They stopped service two weeks ago missing 3 pickups. I started calling them on April * to try and find out why they stopped service. Most of the time their phone system puts my calls through to a voice mail box. When I manage to get someone on the phone they promise to look into it and call me back. In either case they've never called me back. I have a crew working at the building and they're now having to stack trash because the dumpster has been full for over a week. It's costing me money to pay my crew to stack trash and then move it when they need to work in a different area.Desired Settlement: I really just want them to tell me why my service has stopped and then get it restarted. If it can't be restarted then I'd like a refund and contract termination.

Review: Dumpster Central promised me a refund of $750 from a transaction in February and I have not received it.

I used Dumpster Central's services on 12/*/13 for a total of $750. They charged me on 2/*/14 and 3/*/14 for another $750 each time, totaling $1500 in incorrect charges. They have refunded me $750 and have promised to send a refund check for the remaining $750 but have not done so. I have been calling everyday to speak with a [redacted] and they keep telling me that there is no one available to authorize the check. This has been going on for months. Now they are not calling me back or taking my calls.Desired Settlement: I would like the $750 that Dumpster Central owes me.

Review: I rented a large dumpster from this business to do a major cleanup at my home. I ordered and paid in full $340 for the dumpster and the size needed for the job. the dumpster was picked up after the exact stipulated time it was rented for and the retrieval driver said everything looked good. then three weeks later they opted to freely take another $117.60 from my account without my authorization. when contacted about this matter they claimed it was overweight. at no time was there any mention from them that it could only weigh a certain amount and no where on their website does it even mention a stipulation of this sort. do they really expect customers to have one of these dumpsters weighed before they pick it up? how ridiculous! the last time I read the law taking money from someone without permission or authorization is theft. what gives them the right to do this just because they have my card number. now I have to have the inconvenience of waiting for a new card so they cannot freely take any more.

Review: I ordered a dumpster through this company on Wednesday October [redacted] 2013 and was told the dumpster would arrive on Friday October ** 2013. They notified me Thursday October ** that the dumpster wouldn't arrive until Monday so I cancelled the service. That Monday they charged my debit card for $410.00. I called them on Monday and asked for my money back and the [redacted] said they did refunds on Fridays only and then hung up on me. So Friday November [redacted] 2013 came and went and I have not recieved a refund. I have called the company a dozen times and when I finally got a live person on the phone I asked them about it and they said they would talk to their manager and hung up on me. I have tried calling the accounting department but they won't answer and their mailbox is full so I can't leave a message. I have sent them an email on November * 2013 and have not recieved an answer from them.Desired Settlement: $410.00 returned to my bank account ASAP!

Review: Hi, My name is [redacted]. I am filing a complaint against Dumpster Central because they have turned me over to collections wrongfully, I feel. I have contacted Dumpster Central MULTIPLE times and left many messages and cannot get anyone to speak to me or return a call. On April *, 2013, I contacted Dumpster Central and enlisted their services for the clean-up of a convenient store. The service was terrible and Dumpster Central made numerous errors delivering the correct garbage bins. I began receiving over billings and extremely rude and pushy phone calls. At the completion of this job, I contacted Dumpster Central and verified that everything was paid and taken care of, and the response was yes. When I looked through my billing statement, I found that I was over charged and contacted Dumpster Central regarding the matter. The amount over charged was $603.20 and I demanded I be refunded. I was. Now, quite some time later (I was contacted in November), I have been contacted by a collections company and have been told that I owe Dumpster Central $902.20. Yes this is following a credit to my account of $603.20! Following the terrible business dealings I had with Dumpster Central, I researched the company (yes I should've done that first) and found that Dumpster Central has a Revdex.com rating of an F. Many of the complaints against this company are similar to mine and I feel that the manner in which Dumpster Central is conducting business is fraudulent. We have signed paperwork stating that

the customer agreed to the charges made for this dumpster . We still

have yet to receive payment for his unpaid overtonnage fees so we handed

this customer over to a collection agency . We delivered the dumpster

size the customer requested, he wanted a 30yd and then he wanted a 20yd .

He signed both paperworks stating the dumpster size he agreed upon .

When you call for a final pick-up we only know if you are being charged

for rent , we have to wait until the dumpster is picked up and taken to

the landfill. Then when we recieve the weight ticket , we are aware if

the cust goes over or not . We did not wrongfully charge this customer

and we would never want our customer to feel like we are taken advantage

of them . We truly apologize for the inconveinance this may have caused

but if this customer has any more questions or complaints please

Review: I cancelled a drop-off that was scheduled a day prior to the drop-off. They initially charged $435 for the services. Since they were no longer needed, by cancelling, it was a $150 fee. We should have been refunded $285. Multiple phone calls have gone unanswered, ie no answer at all, not even a voicemail.Desired Settlement: I would like for them to pay back my entire $435 that I was charged since it has been over a week that I cannot get a hold of anyone at the company. This is a huge inconvenience, and it is a large amount of money we need.
