I received three quotations for my windows renovations project. Canadian Choice had the most competitive pricing and a superior product on the market. Anyone who embarked on a renovation journey would have a story or two to share around a dining room table about renovations that went wrong, over budget and contractors that are nearly impossible to track.
When I decided to upgrade all windows and patio door, I did my homework and consulted with friends. My selection was narrowed down to three companies. I requested quoted form all three and though Canadian Choice Windows and Doors appear to be slightly pricier (10-15% more), I felt the price was very competitive and I was getting MUCH better quality windows.
I must provide a disclaimer; I am one of those hard to please guys you see in front of you at the grocery store asking to speak to a manager. It's partially the reason why I decided to write this review, as it is refreshing to give praise for a change.
My experience with Canadian Choice was VERY positive:
-The measurement and quite process was easy to coordinate, clear and concise
-I never felt pressured
-The windows were ordered, delivered and installed under the estimated 6 weeks
-The installers arrived on time, were friendly, respectful and no mess was left behind (the installers were the kida guys you want to order pizza for)
-I felt the installation was done well and I had no issues
-The was no inconsistency between the initial quote and the final bill
-I received a follow up call to see if there are any issues and enquire if I was satisfied with the windows and service.
-12 months after the installation, I am still pleased with my choice and have not experienced any issues
Windows are a major investment and I am happy I went with Canada's Choice. It amazing what transformation new windows make; the rooms look bigger, modern, clean and bright. You can feel that the windows are durable, quality made and would last for a long time. I recently had to put my house on the market, and windows proved to be a great selling feature and the best investment to build the equity of your home.
Canadian Choice visited our home in Spring of 2015 to do an estimate for replacing the windows on the main floor in our home as they were due for an update. We've got to say they were really wonderful to deal with. Our home was built in the 1970's and we did have concerns going into the project ei.stucco, codes, framework... but the result was absolutely fabulous and the concerns were all worked through. We had Ivan [redacted] as a Representative who made great suggestions, presented a variety of payment options to us, and was a very easy conversationalist. We did choose to visit their showroom before our decision which was nice. He gave us a short tour, showed us more of the window, we had a chat and made the deal. It has been nothing short of friendly, kind, and attentive service all along the way. We're enjoying our new windows very much and feel secure and very pleased with our choice.
