E. Mishan and sons is a scam. I ordered their bell and howell disk lights and the offer was order a set and get another set for and additional charge.

So I ordered one set and paid for it on credit card. Then later I decided to order a set for my neighbor who has done a lot for me. Well I just got the shipment info and they have deleted the second set for the second order. In other words for the second set that I ordered, they did not include the second set for and additional charge of shipping and handling.

This company is a fraud. I have not spoken to these folks yet, but you can bet I will very soon.

Review: This company manufactured/distributed the 'Bell+Howell(R)' Solar PIR Motion Activated Animal Repeller, item number 50104B with [redacted]. The units were purchased new and sealed in the packaging and purchased by me back in around my birthday of ** Oct at a local Hardware store. One rechargeable battery (of 4 included) in each package was no good. Upon opening and installing, they worked(?) with the red light in the front sensor area 'lighting', when tested and installed. After a few days I could consistently see no results from the two I bought. Dogs and cats continually got into garbage and roamed freely in the range of the units. Being a disabled man, it took a few weeks to retrieve them and retest them in my home. Using a La Crosse(R) Alpha Power BC1000 premium battery charging/conditioning system, I found each had one totally defective AA rechargeable battery in its set of 4. The remaining three of each were able to hold a charge. I live rural, wide open to the sun for the rechargeable batteries. The packaging and instructions in the packaging (I saved one set) have absolutely no contact information except [redacted]. I have since seen many reviews online saying the product is non-functional BUT in my case I believe the two I purchased are functioning fine when a complete set of 4 good rechargeable batteries are used. I moved one good rechargeable battery to the other unit and that unit so far has performed well.

There is NO toll-free number to call, NO email to contact, NO support instructions, I have no cell phone with unlimited calling just a land line with toll call dialing (unemployed pensioned disabled USAF veteran with spouse on one income). Sending mail would be cost and time prohibitive AND in the past (with any other snail-mail type contacts) resulted in many runarounds which has the effect of making the consumer usually giving up (and) worse than before.Desired Settlement: I wish this company to replace the two defective (one each included in the two packages) AA rechargeable batteries. They can send them to me or issue some form of a refund so I may purchase a set locally. This will make this consumer a happy customer.

I call this going way beyond the call of duty in my original issue. If there was a rating system attached to this particular issue, I could not rate the highest because this resolution is way beyond any simplified rating system. Review: I bought a Emson Smoker several months ago through Groupon as a gift for a friend, and was disappointed to find that the Wood Chip Charring Cup & Lid were not in the box or in the styrofoam, as I was directed to look by Service [redacted]. I requested the part be shipped so we could enjoy the device and have not seen it yet; this was back in late January / early February. I recently contacted [redacted] by email, and she stated the part would ship the same day, thought I was assured that it would ship the last time we spoke as well. Upon asking for a ship method and a tracking number, her response was that she would send the tracking number when she got it, but did not mention the ship method. This brings us to 36 hours later to today, still no tracking number or ship method.Desired Settlement: Send the Wood Chip Charring Cup & Lid post-haste!

Review: I purchased the bis boss oil-less fryer. It claims to come with a two year warranty from date of purchase. The [redacted] for the timer broke off and I called for a replacement and she said they don't offer replacement parts. I asked what I should do? she said she didn't know. I said should I just throw it away then? she responded back there's nothing we can do sorry.Desired Settlement: Please just send me a replacement [redacted] for the top of the oil-less fryer. It's a plastic part. I will even pay for the part and shipping. And please don't offer a warranty for products if your not going to honer them.

Review: On July [redacted],2013 I ordered the Chair Gym after seeing it advertised in a commercial. The deal with the Chair Gym was that when you purchased it, you could make five easy payments of $29.95 plus you would get the Total Body Workout 6 DVD Set. I recieved my Chair Gym on July [redacted],2013. When I opened the box, I realized that the DVD's were not there. I assumed that maybe they would send the DVD's seperately, so I waited for about three weeks before I called customer service. After I waited, I called the customer service number for Chair Gym to ask about the DVD's. The lady that took my call informed me that the DVD's were on back order and she did not know when they would be sent. She told me to wait another month to recieve them. I waited the allotted time and when I didn't recieve the DVD's, again I called customer service to find out what had happened. This time I got a gentleman on the phone who proceeded to tell me it was going to be another month before I received them. I have now been waiting for three months for these DVD's. I checked my order number again this past week and now I see that they have cancelled the DVD's without my consent nor did they call me to tell me they were cancelling them. I am extremely frustrated because now I am stuck with a product I cannot use and I feel that they decieved me. I am tired of getting the run around with customer service. I would like the DVD's that were part of this deal. My order number is [redacted]. Any assistance you can offer me would be appreciated. Review: I purchased the Big Boss Oil-Less Fryer and the appliance did not work. I was instructed by the customer service department to return the top of the appliance only and they wouuld send me a new top for the appliance. I returned the item and they received it July **,2013 @ 10:34 am.Everyone I talk to in the customer service dept. confirms they have received the item and I am told that I will receive the new item in 7-10 business. Review: My device was broken so I notified Nu Brillance. The customer service department told me to return it. I returned the device on October **, 2013. Since I didn't hear anything, I called again on November **, 2013 and was informed they couldn't find it and to send a fax to them describing when I returned it and my receipt of shipment. Still no response from the company, I called on November **with a tracking # and the name of the person who signed for the device at their company. I was told that they had proof they received it, and their supervisor authorized that it be shipped out within 7-10 business days. December **, still no device I called and was told they would forward the tracking # to corporate who will then notify the shipping department and it will be sent out within 7-10 business days. I provided my e-mail address so they could notify me when it was shipped. December **, called and the customer service person created an order to have my product shipped to me and said I would receive an e-mail when it was shipped, 7-10 business days. I just got off the phone with their supervisor, and now they're out of stock and estimate a delivery from the manufacture on Jan **, 2014. He assured me that the returns get shipped before any orders.I have never in my life had the run around like I have from this company. Every time I called, I got a different representative, who didn't know what was going on or seem to have a record of my previous calls. All I want is my device back.Desired Settlement: I want a new device and an appology from the company about their poor customer service.

Review: Bought Sharper Image 1000 Watt Blender Combo from Home Shopping Network the latter part of February 2013. Blender broke latter part of May 2013, card included with product instructs that you call ###-###-####. I have called for the last 2 months but get transferred to a voicemail each time. No one has returned my calls. I contacted HSN but they state their is nothing they can do about it as you have to contact Emson customer service ###-###-####. After listening to recorded messages and finally getting to the correct extension, you have to deal with the rude lady that will not listen to you and just transfers you to the voicemail.Desired Settlement: Parts or replacement
