Ecoshield employee entered a private gated community illegally by running past security forces without authorization. Police found vehicle attempting to allude and pulled over the driver. Escorted off the property for unauthorized entry and prohibited door to door soliciting. Same employee returned one week later and repeated the violations. Police responded and cited the field service technician/ salesman for no permit to solicit and a warming to not come back. Fly by night company, high pressure sales, and many customer complaints filed with the Revdex.com. A follow up phone call to business office resulted in a manager named Cory speaking in a manner that was aurgementive, uncooperative, and defiant. Call ended with Cory hanging up the phone. Very unprofessional. Do not do business with Ecoshield Pest Control.

I looked over the customer's account, and we are sorry they are still having a problem with ants.  Ecoshield does have a 100% guarantee, but it is not a 100% money back guarantee.  On our contracts and our website it says we have a 100% guarantee.  I am confident we can solve the...

customer's problem if given the chance.  The way our guarantee works is as follows:  If we service the customer's home for a pest problem and they are still seeing pests after the service is performed we will come out and perform a free reservice.  If we have to come out more than three times for the same problem between scheduled services we give the customer a full credit toward their next service (there next service is free).  This protects the customer.  If the customer will reactivate their account and complete their agreement with us we can remove the early termination fee and take care of the problem they are having.  We will honor the guarantee that is part of the agreement if given the opportunity.

Customer signed an agreement with us for 12 months which is a total of five services.  Included with the Service Agreement are free services should there be any issues.  Customer has only had two services with one free service in-between.  It should be noted that pest control involves...

time and with each service the pests will decrease.  Each service is guaranteed and should the need arise for another service should there be a recurring problem with pests, all the customer needs to do is call for a free service - we will be glad to come out and treat at at no extra charge.  If the customer does not wish to continue and has not completed the agreement, there is a chargeback fee involved which is the difference between the original price of the Initial Service and the amount the customer actually paid.  There is not cancellation fee.  The customer signed the Service Agreement understanding the terms.

SHOULD A CUSTOMER NOT BE HAPPY WITH SERVICE OR IF THEY ARE STILL HAVING ISSUES WE OFFER TO COME OUT FOR FREE TO TAKE CARE OF ANY ISSUES - CUSTOMER REFUSED, REFUSING FUTURE SERVICES, THUS THE CUSTOMER WAS CHARGED THE CHARGEBACK FEE AS STATED IN THE SERVICE AGREEMENT.

We have thoroughly researched the account.  The customer signed their service agreement with the salesman and then signed a checklist going over each part of the contract separately with the technician that performed the first service.  The signatures match on both documents.  Our...

agreement is one page, and clearly states the following: "If for any reason, at any time, the contract is cancelled before its completion, and the initial service has been performed, customer agrees to pay any unpaid balance of the initial service charge.  We do not charge our customers for the remaining services on their agreement with us, but there is a chargeback for the discount we gave the customer for signing a one-year agreement with us if they decide to break the agreement and cancel.  If you need copies of the agreement and checklist we can mail them to you.  The customer only has 3 more services on their agreement.  If they are willing to allow us to perform the last few services on the agreement we can remove the initial discount chargeback (the balance that is on the account).

I would not recommend this service at all. BEWARE of what you are signing as they solicit you ... I was charged a 175.00 cancel fee for stopping service with a 30day period!! Who does business like that!!??

I am rejecting this response because:
[redacted] the service manager never showed up.  The same tech that did the re-service a couple of weeks ago was sent.  The tech was very nice, but unfortunately I've been waiting a year for their service to actually work.  I'm done waiting.  If Ecoshield is unable to live up to their guarantee, then I will take them to small claims court for every dollar that I've given them in the past year.  I've had so many re-services with no result.  I just want a refund and I will hire the company that my neighbors use.  My neighbors rarely find bugs, but when they do, the bugs are dead.  Meanwhile, I have to distract my kids when I see a giant spider or silverfish on the wall in their bedrooms so that they don't freak out right before going to sleep.  If Ecoshield needs more evidence, I would be more than happy to upload time stamped photos to [redacted] or videos to their [redacted] page.
