On the first page of my contract (which was not included in your attachment) in bold it states I can cancel my contract with *** *** *** *or any reason with a day written notice with a $cancellation fee, I have attached page one of our contract which is the same for my son and daughter for your review *** had a free month and *** had two weeks free of instruction we won at the Auburn County Fair We informed *** *** *** in October we will no longer be attending there facility due to financial reasons and pay a cancellation fee of $at the martial arts center and sent a written notice for both *** and *** just as the contract instructed us to do It is *** *** *** responsibility to notify you of the cancellations of both *** and Connor’s contracts because our contract only states we have to notify Joslin’sI also did make a payment of $each which our bank statement reflects for *** and *** directly to Educational Funding Company I have tried to answer Educational funding Company’s phone calls to our home phone only to hear a recorded message wanting me to call them and when I called them I would get another recording telling me to leave a message After going around and around with the recordings I stopped calling I am not asking Educational Funding Company to cancel my contract because I have already done so with *** *** *** October I am asking for them to stop sending statements for due amounts when I do not owe anything

Please note that the Educational Funding Company made a very sincere and an honest attempt to resolve the pending issue between *** *** & the *** Boxing Academy so farThis is in spite of the fact that the school is no longer an active client of Educational Funding Company (meaning any monies refunded comes out of EFC's pocket)
However it is apparent *** *** intentions are somewhat differs from oursOne example is - it was conveniently ignored that even if we were to consider receiving that cancellation request on May 03rd, the contract clearly states a day cancellation policy for ANY reasonThe list can continuePlease note that we are just a third party billing company and all monies collected on behalf of the school from students shall be transferred to the respective school every monthHowever at this point in time, EFC is not in position to pursue this matter any further with a sincere hope of resolving the issue fairly and reasonably to all parties concernedTherefore we shall be closing this case administratively at our end and allow *** *** to pursue his demands and litigation threats with the school in concernThank you for your understanding and cooperation in this regardSusika D***

At, EFC, we are committed to making a good faith attempt to resolve this issue For me to proceed with this claim, Student has to send us the valid proof of move.As the student claimed that he has already moved out of the area, we need to have a valid proof of moveTherefore, one of the following documents would be sufficientCopy of the drivers Licence
Copy of the utility Bill
Copy of the Lease agreement

It's fine if the school puts my account on hold indefinately instead of cancelling it if the end result is the same: not being charged for services that are not being provided to me or my wife and that we no longer want.The issue is that just today in the mail I received a payment coupon book from the Educational Funding CompanySo, they clearly have not gotten the message that I do not owe them any money since they are still trying to shake me down.I received a message from my credit card company, ***, in the mail a week or two ago letting me know that those extra charges that I disputed on my credit card statement were not my responsibility and that the situation was resolvedThey agreed with me and refused to let the Educational Funding Company take money that they were not owed so I'm not sure why this is still an issue
