I wouldn't recommend eGifter to anyone
I purchased a gift card intended to treat some friends to dinner that same nightThe website assures buyers most cards are delivered within minutes, and all within the hourThis is falseAfter several hours of waiting for my card, I contacted customer service to find out what the trouble wasI had purchased using my current balance in Paypal, so there was no need to verify any cards or wait for money to be transferred from the bankI never received any reply from customer serviceInstead, the next time I logged into the account, there was simply no record of the card that had previously been "processing"
I believe this website is a scamThey force you to join their "insider" club and then tell you that you'll be billed $for it, but there's no way to leave the "club" or cancel membershipThere's also no option anywhere on the website to cancel an account, update email or remove payment informationIt's just not trustworthy or reputable at allI'd definitely never recommend this site to anyone, it's amateur and unreliable at best, fraud at worst

[Your Answer Here]
Is there any way to get camera footage from the store in question?  I was undeniably NOT in any Whole Foods between the date delivered and 9-**-16.  The date it was zeroed out was 9-**-16, when I was sick and at home.  I was not in that store and suspect that somehow the site allowed my information to be stolen and used.  Please help me, as that is a lot of money, which I need for food.Sincerely,[redacted]

Hello,The Customer's PayPal Account has been fully refunded. I have attached a copy of the PayPal transaction detail page showing that the order was voided March *, 2017 the same day the order was placed, March *, 2017.Also, we have no record of the customer contacting our customer support line....

If they did reach us, our policy is to respond to customer service calls by email between normal business hours which is 9am to 6pm EST Monday to Friday. The customer would have also received an email from eGifter stating their order was cancelled and funds would be returned to their PayPal account. We hope this has resolved the customers concerns. Thank you,eGifter Support

Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID# [redacted], and have determined that my complaint has NOT been resolved because:

p.p1 {margin: 0.0px 0.0px 0.0px 0.0px; font: 12.0px 'Helvetica Neue'; -webkit-text-stroke: #000000} span.s1 {font-kerning: none}
p.p1 {margin: 0.0px 0.0px 0.0px 0.0px; font: 12.0px 'Helvetica Neue'; -webkit-text-stroke: #000000} span.s1 {font-kerning: none} The company is claiming to have resolved this complaint by contacting [redacted], who informed them that all of the facts in my initial complaint are true. By copying and pasting information that I have already mentioned in this dispute I wonder what’s really happening here. This looks to me as if it was only after their contact with [redacted] that they learned of the aforementioned limitations in the terms of service under which they are selling [redacted] gift cards. They seem to be saying that I should have read fine print which they themselves had not even read. I don’t see how this is defensible. I also notice that they managed to put the strict limitations on gift card use up front in their description of [redacted]’s terms of service. Unfortunately they still don’t seem to think it is necessary to explicitly inform their customers of these limitations prior to sale. Including this information doesn’t seem very difficult considering that they already choose to inform potential buyers of certain (arguably less consequential) caveats from the terms of service in bold lettering on the purchase page. Excluding this information, however, is exactly what got me to spend a fortune on gift cards thinking that they would be redeemable at face value. Yes, I agree, it is possible for a buyer to use these gift cards in increments of $200. Once again, that is something I already mentioned. Is that a caveat that is expected by the receiver of a “gift” card? I would argue not; it should be very clearly stated up front. It is clear to me that this company is unwilling to do the right thing for me or their future customers by providing the necessary information to make the right choice in the context of [redacted] gift cards and refunding my purchase. Since it is clear that neither me nor the Revdex.com will be able to nudge them in that direction I have chosen to carbon copy legal council at the New York Department of Financial Services on this complaint.
Sincerely,
[redacted]

Hello,We reviewed  the order and we see that the order was placed at 9pm last night and was released to the customer at 9am this morning. At that time the customer claimed the gift card. Unfortunately once a gift card code is claimed and viewed by the customer, it can not be refunded. The...

customer can use this giftcard at any time, there is no expiration date. There is a link to our terms and conditions including our  refund policy on the order page [redacted]Also, it is stated on our payments page that most orders are processed instantly, but some orders may take up to 24 hours to process. I have attached a screenshot of our payment page. Our customer support team is available during normal business hours 9am to 6pm EST. If the customer had called our customer support number, the agent would have informed them that someone would respond to them after 9am.We are sorry the customer had difficulty with placing their order, but they do have the card now and they can use it at any time in the future.Thank you,

We had notified the customer through our customer support system that the [redacted] Card we sold him was valid. We checked the balance and it states that the card was redeemed, see attached. We sell thousands of [redacted] Cards and we have never had an issue with invalid codes. If the customer's account...

was closed they need to contact [redacted]. Due to the privacy policies of [redacted] they will not discuss the customer's account with us.Thank you,[redacted]

Attached is the giftcard with PIN. We have also emailed directly to the customer through our customer support system.Thank you,

We have refunded the customer $50.We apologize for the inconvenience.

This customer contacted us through our customer support system and we responded to her. A review of her account showed that the $50 Whole Food gift Card was delivered to the customer's email address and claimed by the customer. Once a card is claimed by the customer it can not be refunded and should...

be treated as cash. We contacted Whole Foods and the $50 Gift Card was used in their store that was in close proximity to the customer's home address. We are unable to provide a refund as the balance of the gift card is now $0. The terms of the sale of Whole Food gift cards are stated on our website:"The purchase or use of a gift card, in digital or physical form, constitutes acceptance of the complete terms and conditions. Gift cards must be used solely for the purchase of merchandise or services provided by Whole Foods Market. You can get our greens but unfortunately can’tredeem for cash unless required by law. Gift cards may not be resold unless approved by Whole Foods Market. A gift card, in any form, will not be replaced or refunded if lost or stolen unless required by law so handle it like a carton of eggs. This gift card is issued by WFM Gift Card, LLC.
