eGumball manually reates and edits local directory (citations) listings on a monthly basis with unique content.  Updating listings with incorrect listings takes 30-60 days to appear in Google search results.  Once a updated...

listing appears in Google search results it can take up to 30 days for Google to cluster and push a new index in Google Maps. Google aggregates these citations for trust scoring.  eGumball does not update all known citations at once.  Updating and or creating a high volume of new citations may seem unfriendly to a search engine like Google.  For which reason our service takes time.
eGumball's contract is limited to one compliant location - not "locations".  Please clarify.
eGumball only monitors previously created or edited citations.  We do not monitor other locations not contracted.

On 2/17/14, Egumball's rep told me, by phone, I would be on the first page, third from the top, of Google, starting on 2/24/14. I told the rep that I do not do things by emails, and that I was old school. He told me that was fine and he would call me on 2/18 at 9am so we could go over the whole advertising campaign. I drove an hour and a half back to my office for the sole reason of receiving our scheduled phone call. He did not call. I called my sister, who knows computers, to check out Egumball's business history. She informed me that the company had complaints all over the internet (ripoffreport.com & businesscomsumerallaince.org) & she checked with the Revdex.com. Their rep also told me that I would not be charged until I was on Google on the 24th. He told me that by the 21st someone would call me so I could send them pictures from my phones, by text message. There was no talk about any emails detailing each step of services. I only went to my bank to try to get my $284 back. Their rep also told me there was a 30 day 100% guarantee once my ad was on Google. They've already ripped me off for $284, and now they are trying to rip me off for another $660. I talked to a lawyer from [redacted] & Assoc. over the phone, and he told me most people are not satisfied with the company because they don't do anything. He also told me that they will report me the credit bureau and it will appear negatively on my credit report. He also said the most people will pay Egumball, just to get it off their credit report. This company now is blackmailing me and trying to extort money from me. I am not paying them another dollar. I have contacted the Jefferson Parish District Attorney's office and filed a complaint. I have also a complaint with the FBI in their computer fraud division. We are NEVER paying this company a penny more! Google says that they have no affiliation with Egumball whatsoever!
P.S. How can the Revdex.com have so many complaints against this company and still give them an A rating?

During the initial review of the business information our quality control...

team identified multiple business names, addresses, and websites connected with the business information. The client was aware of these inconsistencies. Our services are designed to increase the consistency of business information found throughout the internet, which is required in order to improve any sort of online presence.  This process is ongoing and eGumball uses great effort to clean up years of incorrect information online. Part of the cleanup process involves added new relevant information for search engines and clients to find.

requests are not permitted by phone. After the expiration of the customer’s
initial term, when the account is month-to month-the customer may cancel their

The customer is required to check that they have read these Terms and
Conditions before signing the initial contract with us.
We did not create a YouTube video for this client with any
pop up ads. If the client is having problems with their YouTube video, this is
outside of our agreement with the client. One of our customer service agents
attempted to contact the client about their complaints via email and phone on
9/18, but did not hear back from them. We welcome the client to contact us at

concerns.

Ms. [redacted] signed our agreement before her payment was received and the agreement clearly states that there will be a set up fee and our monthly fee at startup.  This information was not only disclosed prior to receipt of payment but was also confirmed by returned email copy of the agreement.Our refund policy allows for a full refund if our service does not complete the activation process within thirty (30) days.  Ms. [redacted] signed her agreement on 7/24 and her file was activated on 8/6.
On 7/29 our quality control department found a number of incorrect local listings:

Birmingham,Bloomfield, Franklin, West Bloomfield, Rochester Hills, Rochester,
[redacted] ,St Clair shores, Detroit. -also wanted to know whats taking us so
long to get her up and running

she said she is just getting anxious

The service has been used by the customer since 2011 and as of February the customer agreed to renew the agreement.  A full review of the service which included first page rankings was completed prior to the extension.  We reiterate that a major change to a businesses information, such as an address change, requires extensive cleanup to update, and re-update the information that can be found online.  The customer was informed as to the extent of the work that was required in order to do so and the customer agreed to extend their agreement with eGumball.  We have tried on multiple occasions to again explain the processes and remedy the concerns that the customer has, including the [redacted] requirement for a re-verification of the [redacted] My Business listing.  This re-verification is independent of any secure login for the customer information which eGumball is not asking for.  There are access points independent of a customers email addresses/ passwords that keep any customers information secure.    We have proven that the service works through the 5 years that the customer has worked with us.  We again ask that the customer give us the opportunity to again prove that the service works.  Please contact our customer service department at [redacted] to further discuss the progress that has been made on the account, including the first page rankings.

We have contacted the customer and all of the numbers provided have been successfully submitted to our do not call list. However, this does not guarantee that other companies in our industry won’t contact them in the future.

Consistent information is foundational to increasing any businesses rankings on search engines while providing customers with only accurate information. The online information associated with this business included 4 separate businesses and 3 different addresses.  These inconsistencies...

contribute to the overall ranking factors which we diligently work to overcome.  During this phase increasing the consistency, we use our mapping network along with citations to generate traffic in order to generate a response from the listings.  While the development is designed to increase rankings and earn a position on the front page of these search engines, we, or any other company, cannot guarantee specific line placement or time frames.  Our process does however decrease turnaround times associated with any indexing of the business information. I am rejecting eGumballs response as it does not provide a solution to the several months (attempts on our part through email and phone conversations) to bring a solution that is in line with what they promised would be done on behalf of our business. Their response recommends we call the Executive Account Rep, we have already done that several times.  Our conversations with the account representative and the executive account representative were of no help, they made me feel like I was being backed into a corner and said that they had already done the services that they stated they would do, however, when we log onto the control panel and or visit [redacted] we continually found the mistakes that they did not fix. 
TWO MAJOR DISCREPANCIES FROM OUR LAST PHONE CONVERSATION WITH eGumball:
1) Executive Account Rep stated that the "vendor" who sold us the product is from and independent contractor company and that those vendors give inaccurate information from time to time because "they don't know the product".
2) Executive Account Rep disclosed that [redacted] is being sold and therefore they can't do any work on that search engine.  This should have been disclosed to us 3 months a go when we started questioning our account representative about services not being fulfilled.
We are rejecting because we continue to come to an agreement with them and they are not keeping their end of the bargain and now that we have canceled the account they want to charge for over $750 for canceling early -- we are petitioning that eGumball waive this fee. We have gone back-and-forth with them for the past three months and can't come to an agreement that is in the best interest of 1st Avenue Salon... businesses that abuse the "power of a contract" need to be held accountable when they don't provide customer satisfaction.

Very bad experience with gumball.Tell everybody about this scam company.They doing they business by lyeing people.They told me I can cancel my service in 30 days and I call to cancel in 28 days and they said no and gave me the bill $1419.00.I am very shocked from they did .And I try to find the way how to solve this problem.Be aware from EGUMBALL.inc.

We understand the customer’s frustration, but would like to reiterate that the customer did change their name in the beginning of service, which takes [redacted] and other search engines up to 60-90 days to register and is the reason why they did not see immediate results. We also have proof that this customer’s citations were updated last October when receiving the new business name. We have been trying to get in touch with this customer to resolve this issue, which we are more than willing to do, but they have not accepted our calls or called us back.

This is a crappy business - very tricky business practices. They suck u in even after u have told them that u do not want the product. If u get involved they have hidden clauses in their contract that keep changing. They will agree on an amount and when u satisfy it - they keep charging ur acct and come up with more hidden loopholes which was not discussed prior to the last information. SO HIGHLY DISSATIFIED IN HOW THEY HANDLED MY BUSINESS WEBSITE - DID NOT REPRESENT MY COMPANY IN ANYWAY, SHAPE OR FORM. THEY DIDN'T ASK ABOUT MY PREFERENCES AND HOW I WOULD LIKE IT DESIGN. THEY DID IT THE WAY THEY DESIRED WHICH WAS UNACCEPTABLE. THEN IT TAKE SO LONG TO DISCONTINUE THEIR SERVICES - THEY KEEP CHARGING U AND U DON'T EVEN KNOW FOR WHAT. HIGHLY DISSAPOINTED! TELL ALL YOUR FRIENDS DO NOT SUPPORT THIS CRAPPY COMPANY. SCALE OF 1-10 ITS A ZERO00.

We feel as tho we were scammed into this by the salesperson and see no other solution than to part ways . Another reply of me calling you is unnessary . We are requesting our money back along with atop payment. Anything else is not sufficient .
