The timing of collection actions against this client is pure coincidence.
Our service agreement has a thirty-day activation guarantee that guarantees the campaign launching within the first month of service.   The client was activated within this time frame.
This agreement requires mutual cooperation.  Our client continues to say we did not perform our service despite proof illustrating otherwise.  If the client would be willing to cooperate, we would be more than happy to continue to our service.

This client has worked with eGumball since November 2, 2011.  The customer has been shown on multiple occasions throughout the years their front page results which has...

included all 10 of their chosen keywords and additional target areas.  This has been part of the reason that the customer had chosen to extend their service agreement with eGumball on multiple occasions. 
The customer contacted the service department and informed us that they had moved their location on 2/18/2016.  This caused eGumball to initiate changes to the years of work that had been completed.  The customer was informed of the extent of the work that had to be completed in order to make updates and we asked for patience during this period.  Part of the process does include a re-verification of their [redacted] My Business account so that [redacted] can verify their new location as an accurate business location.  This is a [redacted] requirement for any major change, such as an address change.   
Furthermore, eGumball is a [redacted] Partner: [redacted]  The [redacted] Partner status applies to the [redacted] program which is a separate service, but eGumball does hold this status.
We are providing current screenshots of the customer’s rankings.  These screenshots are due in part to the trust that eGumball has established for the business.  We would like to further discuss the results and service with the client and ask that the customer contact their Account Executive at [redacted].

I agree with other business owners that were scamed by E-gumball thinking we were working with Google. Lots of promises, no service, terrible customer relations...NONE.
We too had to kill our credit card to eliminate this parasite. Google better cut the cord before its to late.

eGumball strives to deliver results for our customers as quickly as possible and ensuring that we publish accurate information is an important part of the service.  In the case of [redacted] - [redacted], we uncovered multiple business names and addresses which prompted further investigation and ultimately clarification from the customer to ensure the information was accurate.  In total, 5 different business names and 3 addresses were discovered to be connected to the business and the quality team had attempted to get in touch with the customer regarding the association of the information.  It is crucial that we publish only the most accurate information and our ability to provide results stems from our attentional to the details.
The service team attempted to discuss these processes with the customer in order to answer the customers concerns regarding the setup process and what can be expected moving forward.  We understand that the customer has expectations that we need to meet and it is our goal to exceed these same expectations.  We ask that the customer allow us to review the services which have been rendered and also allow us to demonstrate the successes which our customer enjoy.

And then all excuses to be patient and keep waiting10 months is more than enough time to see significant results and the homepage is still just a template.  I was trying to get out from under them in a nice way but they just want to get paid in full regardless of my company's dissatisfaction. In one of our latest conversations they asked me if I saw my company's name on the search engine and when I told them I did not they said to refresh and it was there. Why was it there from before? If they were to put in half as much resources into their services as they do their sales we would have loved to continue service. And they're holding my company's  domain name as ransoM for tge last two months of service that I hadn't recieved I certainly don't care for.

Chiropractic, there are 6 different business names associated with the phone number of the business.  This is important because a business phone number is the unique identifying factor used to separate business data throughout the internet.  In order for the business to be trusted by the search engines, the business must be seen as able to deliver on the goods and/or services in which it is marketing.  With multiple business names, address, phone numbers, etc. it is difficult for the search engines to ensure that the customer experience will be satisfactory.  For this reason, the foundation of any online rankings start with improving the accuracy of business information which is found online.  While the logic behind the search engine practices may not be widely understood, the practice of developing citations has been proven time and time again.  The work which is required in order to increase the accuracy of citations is an ongoing process which involves finding, fixing, creating, and managing a host of citations for each of the search engines to begin to trust and therefore increase the online presence of any business.

As detailed in our contract and our website, eGumball
is a Google Adwords Partner and a map optimization service helping businesses
rank higher in Sponsored Ads, Google Places, Bing Local and Yahoo Local.  Our client signed up for our maps
optimization not our Google...

Adwords where it is common place for our reps to
guarantee top ten listings.
During the sales presentation, and as confirmed by our client’s
statement, we charge $176.00 per month in addition to a one time set up fee of
$176.00 as contracted.  Total is $358.00.  Our client signed our contract on 07/24/2014.
On 07/31/2014, during our set up process, we discovered
a number of incorrect and duplicate listings. 
We spoke with our client about the listings to be corrected:

On 08/01/14, our client returned our email with a
cancellation request:
"Cancel my order #[redacted] and refund my
money. You have taken too long to deliver what you promised. Each person I talk
to has taken information from me, but my listing is still not accessible."
This cancellation request was submitted one week after
contract signage and after a great deal of work has been rendered.

EGumball is not the company that they say they are. They will make a lot of promises and tell you that they will get you on the front page. I haven't figured out what front page they are referring to but it is not the front page that I need for my advertising concerns. They charged me for an RCF that they said I needed but when I researched it further I found out that I DID NOT need it. Obviously they knew it because when I called them on it ...they took that charge off my monthly bill. I explained to them month after month what I needed and they assured me month after month that they could do it for me. My last conversation was that maybe I needed to go with a per pay click concept because the SEO they were supposedly doing wasn't working...I was told "Well ya ...if you want to be seen in the neighboring towns a pay per click option is definitely the way to go" .... now keep in mind in the three years I was with them never once did anyone tell me this....they just continued to take my $169 a month and basically do nothing for me!! I would strongly suggest staying away from any of these fly by night advertising companies that promise you the front page. They talked me into signing 6 months contracts a couple of times because they promised they were going to do this or that....but never once did they follow thru with what they claimed nor promised.

Our  sales and customer service representatives are trained on all of the intricacy's of the service which we provide.  We pride ourselves on the ability to gain traction for our clients through the ever changing landscape of local optimization.  We understand the challenges which are unique to each and every marketing campaign and each facet of our service can present its own challenges which need to be overcome in order to obtain results.  Are proven track record has established eGumball as an industry expert and we ask that the customer allow us to work with them to accomplish their online marketing goals.  
Our customer service team has resolved many of the concerns which the customer has presented us and we have overcome many of the initial challenges designed to build a strong foundation for this customer.  We have resolved the customers concerns regarding an inaccurate directions and feel that we have proven our abilities to increase the consistency of the business information which is found online.  The duplicate data which, includes the information found on [redacted], is an ongoing process which is part of eGumball's regular duties.

local directory listings to improve citation clustering for local search
enhancements in Google Maps. eGumball is a...

AdWords. This label of certification is provided by Google, but does not mean
that eGumball is a subsidiary or an actual contractual partner of Google, as
detailed at the top of our terms and conditions (http://www.egumball.com/egumball_is_not_google.html).
 
Further, eGumball provided
[redacted] six months of service, which did improve their

As you will see within our service documents, the screenshots of ranking and
email communications show the client thanking us for a speedy response. The
client acknowledged our work was being performed. 
 
We believe the client is not
pleased with our service because they were not able to locate their business
without the use of “CA.” This advanced request takes more time to accomplish,
as we manage citations within a monthly drip system. We do not promote flooding
Google with a single shot of updated citations, which may be viewed as
unfriendly to Google. We are not in control of when Google pushes a new index,
so we have to be very conservative with our submission policies.
 
Although our service notes
demonstrate our willingness to explain our service in detail, we need trust and
open communication in order to be more effective.
