A member of the Fort Knox Federal team [redacted], has reached out to the member by phone and discussed the issues she is having.  She also sent her an email with her contact information so she can forward her any proof of insurance that she may have as well as any further questions.  The member should be taken care of at this time.

with Fort Knox Federal Credit Union (FKFCU) centers around three items.  Miss [redacted] states that she should not be listed as co-maker, but rather as a primary applicant on the two loans that she has with FKFCU.    Miss [redacted] states that she made payments to an account that were improperly applied.   Miss [redacted] is requesting that FKFCU take steps to update its credit reporting information to indicate that she was not delinquent on the required payments referenced in item number 2.  Fort Knox Credit Union apologizes for any misunderstanding and responds as follows:  The loan application documentation from the time of loan origination clearly supports that these loans were set up correctly. In both cases Miss [redacted]’s completed and signed the co-applicant section of the application.  Miss [redacted] is welcome to contact FKFCU and obtain copies of her loan documentation.   A review of the situation indicates that FKFCU applied Miss [redacted]’s payments in accordance with its policy and the account agreements in place.  However, as this was apparently different than Miss [redacted]’s expectations, as a courtesy FKFCU will credit an amount equal to the payments made into the account to the loan that she is questioning.   Due to the misunderstanding concerning how Miss [redacted]’s payments towards this account would be applied, FKFCU will further update the account history to reflect that her payments did not exceed 30 days past due.  In addition, FKFCU will promptly provide this updated history to the credit reporting agencies.   This should resolve Miss [redacted]’s concerns laid out in her complaint.  If Miss [redacted] has any further questions, she is welcome to reach out to me at the number provided below. [redacted]Manager – Loan OperationsFort Knox Federal Credit Union[redacted]

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.No one has contacted me regarding my account nor told me the stipulations that they have mentioned. I was told that phone calls are recorded and would like to know when these calls were made and receive a copy if possible. Even when I called in numerous times no one ever mentioned I would have to set up direct deposit to have the $9 fee waived. I was always told after 6 months of no negative balance the account would be reviewed and the few would then be waived. I have never received any documentation associated with my account either. Please send information regarding this type of account to my home address. I would also like to know if the regular savings account carries this type of stipulation because I will be closing the checking portion of the account. Thank you.

I would like to advise when did hear back and someone is coming out to look at as we were told "it's a quick fix , and not caving in" I would like to advise if my fiance could fit it he would of.  The piece of wood that is weak and pushing in that should NOT happen regaurdless of furniture that is 3 weeks old ! So anywho, my main complaint it the rude customer service that O had to deal with over the phone. That simply thought I shouldn't handle because I was not the one who purchased it. Just flat out rude and disrespectful! Still have yet to hear a call back from my last message . But, again to you guys because I personally did not purchase the furniture you don't feel the need to deal with me! Awful customer service.

Mrs. [redacted] - Under the Uniform Commercial Code, section 4-404, a financial institution does not have to accept a check over 6 months old, but it can if done in good faith. Consequently, the checks in question were still viable checks even after 6 months. In this instance, the checks were cleared and...

paid electronically where dates are not reviewed. In other words, they were cashed in good faith and the Credit Union acted properly. As a courtesy we are refunding the $210.00 in fees incurred on the stated account. However, as electronic processing is a common practice in today's banking, and checks can be cashed long after they are initially written, it is important to regularly balance your check book to keep track of any checks you may have written that have not cleared. To ensure that you wont be faced with an overdraft situation and fees, you can either ensure the funds are available or cancel the check.

Fort Knox Federal Credit Union is always looking for ways to improve our member experience.  We have researched the member's complaint and believe that Ms. [redacted] may be misunderstanding the dates being referenced in the letters and notices she has been receiving from us.  The...

insurance applied to her loan balance and causing the increase in payments is due to a lack of appropriate coverage from the time period of 1/18/2017-1/18/2018.   She was provided multiple notices before this coverage was enforced and was advised we could drop the coverage and credit her account back if she provided appropriate proof that her automobile was insured at that time. To date, no proof of coverage has been provided for this time period.       Additional notices were being sent as the coverage enforced was about to expire in January 2018 that alerted our member we still did not have any coverage.   At that time, she did provide proof of coverage as she stated in January of 2018.   That coverage she obtained prevented a second policy from being force placed and increasing the payments even further, however it does clear any of the time that we had to force place a policy to cover the collateral that the member had chosen not to insure.   The increased payments are needed to cover the cost of the insurance.   If the member can provide proof of coverage during the time period of 1/18/2017-1/18/2018, we would be  able to assist her in receiving a refund for any time that she had the required coverage on her own.  With no proof of coverage, the payments will need to stay at the same level they are to ensure the loan is paid within the appropriate term.

The matter of my payment status has nothing to do with the quality of the furniture they gave me.  Although the furniture warranty ended 7/31/15, I feel that this furniture should not be in the condition it is in.  Furniture less than 2 years old should not be falling apart and collapsing.  I called concerning this before the warranty was up and they offered me no solution.  It has since gotten worse.  I have had to stop speaking to them directly because they were harassing me.  They sent me the attached letter in fact threatening me directly saying that they would "embarrass me" by publishing my payment struggles in the newspaper.  Last time I checked this was not proper debt collection practices.  I am working to pay my balance off, all I want is quality furniture.  I don't feel I should waste my money paying for furniture that is literally almost unusable.  I will gladly file a complaint about unfair debt collection practices as they have done that beyond this letter, calling and threatening my relatives as well as calling me during work hours.  I simply want my furniture repaired, this has nothing to do with the litigation.

Company responded via phone:Jed from the business stated the company went out to inspect the mattress but the consumer had a cover on it that was difficult to remove and she would not remove it at that time for them to inspect the mattress.  They asked consumer to call when the cover was...

off.The company went back out and inspected the mattress and did not see anything wrong with the mattress.  Consumer is still concerned it is sagging. Jed has contacted the mattresses manufacturer regarding the mattress and the consumer's concerns.  A representative from the manufacturer will be contacting the consumer to inspect the mattress to see if it can be authorized to be exchanged.Jed will notify Revdex.com of the mattress manufacturer representative's findings.

I have spoke with them...they want serial number off tag...only tags I found were faded...I did submit picture to lisa...I'm waiting for reply....thanks alot
