Dear Revdex.com Representative,We've reviewed Mr. [redacted] Complaint and have discussed this matter with all employees involved.Mr. [redacted] came into our dealership to negotiate a deal.  Mr. [redacted] presented a picture of a title for a vehicle he wanted to trade in as per the President's Day Sale...

Promotion.  Mr. [redacted] requested we "write up" the Contract after selecting a qualifying Chevy Spark, using the information in the picture of the title he presented.  Mr. [redacted], in his Complaint, states that the vehicle he wanted to use as a trade in met all of the qualifications for the promotion.  Mr. [redacted] never presented the actual vehicle for inspection.  Midway Chevrolet could not confirm the vehicle met all qualifications.  Midway Chevrolet does not take in trade in vehicles that are not on the premise, nor will they negotiate a deal with a just trade in information.  Every customer must bring in the trade they wish to utilize in any transaction; regular or promotional transaction all require the vehicle is present.  Mr. [redacted] was advised to bring in the trade in vehicle if he was serious about negotiating the transaction.  Mr. [redacted] was also given the option to purchase the vehicle at invoice, since there was no trade in present at the time he was at our dealership.Mr. [redacted] wrongfully accuses our dealership of using "bait and switch" practices.  Midway Chevrolet follows strict marketing guidelines that are in line with State and Federal laws.  There was no bait in switch during his visit.  Mr. [redacted] is upset Midway Chevrolet would not blindly incorporate a trade into a deal.  As stated before, Midway Chevrolet requires all trade in vehicles be on premise during all negotiations including trades.Midway Chevrolet would have loved to gain Mr. [redacted] as a customer, however Mr. [redacted] did not come in prepared with his trade in vehicle.  We appreciate the opportunity to respond to this Complaint.Best, Gizelle C[redacted]Compliance Director

The customer has been contacted regarding the service charges and a refund is pending.

I could bring the trade in "that does qualify to your terms of the Junker promotion" to your facility within the next 24 hours if you can guarantee that you can sell me a new 2017 Chevy Spark for the $7,558 as advertised. Once again, the three qualifications as explained to me for the minimum $4,500 trade in are, it must be 1999 or newer, must be registered in my name for at least 6 months and I must be able to drive it on the lot. If I am missing something, let me know. Just for the record, I could have had the Volvo at your facility within 1 hour had the sales invoice been even close to the $7,558 advertised price. Feel free to give me a call at [redacted] if you want to do this deal in the next 24 hours.

They can choose to hide anything they want in the fine print in the disclosure. The fact remains their Ad is misleading and the phone follow up with their sales persons leading me to drive in with my trade in was even more so. They wasted my time I will never consider shopping at Midway Chevrolet as a result of the bad experience. Case closed.

The response posted for the complaint was not even directed to me personally, it was to someone else a Mr. [redacted]. This does not give me much faith in the company when they can't even make sure when they respond to complaints that they are responding to the correct person. I don not feel it is the difficult to make sure as a company to double check before posting comments.

Dear Revdex.com Representative,Our Finance Director pulled all of the original paperwork in this file.  All documentation references the bronze warranty plan.  This deal was re contracted and both the original documentation and the resign documents each list the bronze warranty plan.As a gesture of customer service our Finance Director upgraded the policy, at our expense, to the highest plan available on a 2006.  Our Service Director has left a message for Mr. and Mrs. [redacted] to discuss the issues, as per the initial Complaint, still not addressed on their vehicle.We have done our best to resolve this matter.  At this point we can offer to cancel the warranty plan and refund American Credit Acceptance, the lienholder, 100% of the amount paid.  If they wish for us to process the refund, they must contact our Finance Director within 5 business days to process the documentation required.   Please email the Finance Director at [redacted]@vtaig.com to initiate the cancellation process.Respectfully, Gizelle C[redacted]Compliance Director

email our title clerk sent to you, Nevada does not require the vehicle be titled in Nevada in order to register your vehicle.  Please take the vehicle to Nevada DMV as they do require an out of state inspection prior to you registering the vehicle.  You will need to take your Purchase Order with you for the inspection.  This registration step isn't something we could have done for you, as the vehicle has to be presented for inspection prior to registration in Nevada.I reviewed your deal documents and found that we did collect $100.25 for a Title Only fee.  The fee we paid for a Title Only was $16 so on July 10, 2017 we issued a refund check, to you, in the amount of $84.25.As per our Title Clerks email, the state of Nevada will credit what was paid in Arizona.  If there are any additional fees, you will be responsible for the difference.I hope this answers your questions.  We apologize for the delay of response. Best, Gizelle C[redacted]Compliance Director
