I used elite shipping to transport my truck from the east coast to the west coastAll was good at the beginning when Michael the SrLogistics coordinator told me that the total cost of shipping was going to be $He told me that he we need $to process the paper work and lock it in, which I did and signed an agreementAt this time I thought I was dealing with a direct shipping company I found out later that was not the case with elite shippingAfter the agreement I signed for Michael I emailed him just to make sure if the total price once again, was going to pay was $and he assured me that the total amount I needed to pay was the $ to process paper work and $at deliveryHe told me my truck would be picked up on a Monday and be delivered the following MondayWell that Monday rolled by and my truck was not picked upI contacted him and he told me that the truck would be picked up the next dayI kept hearing this same story the whole weekMy truck was eventually picked up on that ThursdayBy a local shipping company here on the west coastOnce I was in contact with the local shipping company they told me that COD was going to be $
I called Michael the logistics coordinator for elite shipping and could never get a hold of the guy after that, every now and then he would send me an emailI asked him why I had to pay more than what he had mentioned previously, his response was classic "its in the agreement you signed buddy there is tolls and taxes added"
I expressed my disappointment in his dishonesty and lack of the full factsHe told me that he could send me gas vouchers to compensate for inconvenience
I called yesterday and sent an email to check the status of my vouchers, have not got a response
To conclude, I would NOT USE ELITE SHIPPING EVER AGAIN THEY ARE NOT HONEST AND ONCE YOU SIGN DOCUMENTAION YOUR PRETTY MUCH SCREWEDMake sure you use due diligence and contact a direct shipper directly

Elite Auto Shipping did everything in our power to insure that [redacted]'s vehicle would be transported in a timely manner. We provided a contract to insure that all aspects regarding the transport of [redacted]'s vehicle would be documented. We charged him a $200.00 administration fee as stated by...

the contract. We had a driver dispatched and assigned but [redacted] decided to cancel within the seven day grace period as stated by the contract that [redacted] signed. If he did not like our terms or conditions he should have never signed the contract.

I requested a quote for shipping my car online from multiple sites. I received a quote from Michael R[redacted] of Elite Auto Logistics, stating it would be $797 to ship my car. During the phone conversation, he stated that I will need to pay a deposit of $197 upfront via credit card, and the remaining $600 will be due when the car is picked up from the driver. After confirming that I will owe $600 remaining, I paid the $197 via credit card and signed a form for the payment. A few days before the pick-up, I confirmed it again with Michael that I will be paying $600 to the driver and he said yes, that it had to be in cash, certified check or money order.
A few hours before my car was delivered to my destination, the driver tells me I owe him $800. I told the driver that it was $600, and that I had already paid my 197. He said no, to call the broker and he sent me a picture of the contract the broker sent him for $800. I immediately contacted Mike, and he first asked me if my car was picked up already, and after I said yes, he told me I owe $800 and that's what I agreed upon. I informed him of our initial conversation and when I confirmed it, in which he completely denied having said any of that and what I paid for the $197 was just for him to create a reservation and to locate a driver, and it is separate of the $800. I know for a fact that he did not mention that at all. No matter what I said, he denied it and said that this is a normal process for companies to collect a separate reservation fee and the driver fee was an additional cost.
Michael R[redacted] lied to me, and unfortunately, I was never sent a contract for the upfront payment with the remaining balance as proof. I know of another person that I referred to this company(the same time I got the quote and didn't know of his conning methods) who told me Michael did the exact same thing to him, so I know I was not mistaken. It could not have been a misunderstanding for both of us.

Deceptive business practices. Mike quoted me $597 to ship a mini cooper from WI to TX. He said that after the $180 deposit I would pay the driver the remainder of what was due upon delivery. When the driver arrived, he said $600 was due and this was a "misunderstanding". The total price ended up being $780. I don't appreciate being lied to and taken advantage of!

At no time does Elite acknowledge my 3 page letter describing what happened that day. His salesmen use bait & switch tactics to gain access to customer credit card numbers for deposit fraud. Again, the car was sitting on the side of the interstate needing picked up the next day to avoid it being towed by the state of Mississippi. His salesman assured me it would be picked up the next day. When [redacted] was confronted about the ''driver'' with the dry run he provided a phone number that no one ever answered or replied to my voice mails. There was never a driver in the area or en route. The shipment was never booked with any transport company. Please refer back to my original letter as attached. My bank has since issued me a refund for the deposit fraud.

Case #: [redacted]   Customer approved terms and conditions by signing the contract. Customer was charged administration fee. If you look in the contract article 7 it states Elite Auto Shipping agrees to provide a carrier to transport your vehicle as promptly as possible in accordance with your instructions but cannot guarantee pick-up or delivery on a specified date. An administration fee of $200 will be charged for orders canceled prior to one week after the requested available pick up date. Customers signed contract and cancellation email attached.

as possible in accordance with your instructions but cannot guarantee pick-up or delivery on a specified date. An administration fee of $200 will be charged for orders canceled prior to one week after the requested available pick up date. [redacted] cancelled her order via an e-mail. Elite Auto Shipping can provide the exact contract signed by [redacted] and documentation proving [redacted] cancelled her order via e-mail when a driver was in route to pick her vehicle up.

I received a price of $699.00 with a $199.00 deposit to ship my vehicle from AZ to OH. Tom E[redacted] told me that the balance upon deliver would be $499.00. That was a lie! The driver got in touch and told me that I owed him $650 COD when he arrived in OH with my vehicle.

I was lied to every day (01/[redacted]to 01/**) that a driver was in my area and on his way to pick up my vehicle. EVERY DAY he said a driver was coming so I stayed there waiting EVERY DAY. Finally on 01/**I cancelled because I was leaving 01/**a.m. to go back to Texas. I told Elite from the beginning I had to leave 01/**and would not be available to meet a driver on that day. When they tell me EVERY DAY there is a driver coming how could I ever take their word as the truth? There is no proof it was EVER  dispatched. THEY LIED! Other transport companies I spoke to can verify this as they could see that it had never been dispatched.

THIS IS UNACCEPTABLE!
