Review: I shopped many transport companies to get my 2002 Chevy Suburban transported from Georgia to California I contacted Elite after getting a very good quote of $925 to freight my vehicle to California I was very impressed with this price and went ahead and gave them a $200 deposit towards the move of my vehicle or so I thought. Having to chase them down to get a pick up time and date they were not calling or showing up on the date that was promised I was informed that they were running behind because of the floods in Missouri being understanding person I was I said that's fine I'll talk to my roommates to guve driver my keys, I'm leaving the state Sunday the [redacted] of January they said they would be there Monday the [redacted] they didn't show up till Tuesday which put me in a bad situation in regards to having to leave my roommates to be responsible for the pick up of my vehicle I have several emails where I'm continuously asking the final price upon drop off they never would clarify with me. The morning my truck was in the state of California I got a call from the driver not the broker I asked him what the balance was due to verify that it was $725 he stated no no you owe me $1,350 and I said no I don't I was quoted $925 I gave a deposit at $200 I should know you $725 he said no no you will talk to the broker and he said he was dealing with a completely different broker than Elite Auto Shipping being that it was a weekend neither one of us could get much information asking Mike the dispatcher for clarification on why the truck driver was dealing with a completely different broker than I was he stated to me that they have three business names and that we were both dealing with the same broker I found that kind of curious and odd at the same time however I went on to explain to Mike that I did not have an extra $600 sitting around to give this truck driver that the agreed upon price was 925 with a $200 deposit but my balance due should only be $725 Mike went on to demean me belittle me and make me seem as if I was an it in regards to my budgeting of this move I explained to Mike that I had a severe hand injury on the drive out I was a day behind and the budget was a little short but I had never budget it is $1350 for the transport of my vehicle there was no reason for me to do so being that that price was never given to me until my vehicle arrived in the state of California nobody ever picked up the phone or emailed me and verified this price was acceptable and then went on to ask Mike what the $200 was that I gave him deposit he stated it was his broker fee I asking them to please be my broker in step up to the plate and do the right thing and get this truck driver to come down on his price or pay the difference because of the misunderstanding he refused to do so that the best you could do with give me a couple of gas cards in the truck driver couple of gas cards which he never came through on his promise to do that at that point Mike my broker I paid for left me blowing in the wind to deal with this all by myself not picked up the phone once since my truck was left in Sacramento on a lot of somebody I did not know. my "broker" has not contacted me he has not checked on me is not checked on my truck or any other communication with this broker I would like a full refund of my $200 to the said broker on top of which I would also like them to split the difference with me so in essence I want $500 back from elite auto shipping for the time trouble missrepresentation and pure unprofessionalism of this company not to mention the undue stress and anxiety they have put me through with my truck sitting on a lot at an address they would not give me in Sacramento California and I had no access to my vehicle in essence I have been in California for 9 days without my vehicle due to Mike mishandling of my account misrepresentation of fees and costs it would take to get my vehicle here when I put out to Elite auto shipping for a quote they knew the size of my vehicle they knew the year make and model they should have quoted me accordingly not low balled it to get my business in their $200 and leave me to deal with this messDesired Settlement: $200 brokers fee

$300 to split the difference in what I was quoted and what the actual cost was

Review: I hired Elite Auto Shipping on April **,2014. The order number is [redacted] and the conformation number is [redacted]. A man named [redacted] (later told me he was the owner) quoted me a price of$650.00 to transport my car from Coconut Creek, Florida to Lindenhurst, Queens.

I sent him a certified check of $200.00 as requested. .

[redacted] emailed me the contract which

I signed. The cost still was $650.00

About a week before the car was to picked up a woman named [redacted] called to confirm the pickup. I told her I will give the driver $450.00 which was the remainder of the contract. She then proceeded to tell me the balance was $650. She spoke to [redacted] and he said that he made a mistake. I never received a new contract for $850.00.

Telephone calls were made regarding this matter on 4/**,4/** 5/* ,5/* to no avail. Many, many times they would not answer their phone. [redacted] told me I could go the following week and they could get a driver. I told her I could not go the following week and they had to honor the existing contract.

I was being held hostage and was forced to take the company they assigned me to which was Starlight Logistics.

This is a bait and switch company.Desired Settlement: I want the $200.00 back . He also told me if I recommend someone I would receive a $50.00 check. the people I recommended did take his company. Therefore I want the additional $50.00.

Response:

Customers vehicle was dispatched to a carrier on 05/** Customer requested we rescheduled for 05/**. Our carrier was all booked until 05/** As it states in contract article 7 Elite Auto Shipping agrees to provide a carrier to transport your vehicle as promptly as possible in accordance with your instructions but cannot guarantee pick-up or delivery on a specified date. We offered customer 2 choices, wait until 05/** and pay original quoted price or or let us broker it out to [redacted] for extra $200 rush order fee. Customer stated she is unable to wait and agreed to pay rush order fee. If she didn't agree then why did she release her vehicle to a carrier.

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID# [redacted], and have determined that my complaint has NOT been resolved because I did not request a pick up on may [redacted]. I spoke to [redacted] and requested 5/*/15. I booked this company on April [redacted]. The conformation number is [redacted]. the company had plenty of time to get one of their carriers. I had to get home and I was held hostage to accept the other carrier. If you look at the reviews of Elite you will see the comments about the horrible situations they ran into. I will try to scan the contract so you see I am stating the truth. [redacted] from their company called me a week before with the new price and to pick up the car on the [redacted]!

Response:

Case #: [redacted] Elite arrange shipping of 4 vehicles for the customer. As it stated by the customer 1 out of 4 vehicles was damaged during loading of the cars. Standard procedure is to talk to the carrier directly first to see if it can be resolved. If customer and carrier cant get it resolved next step is to summit a claim through carrier insurance. Carrier agreed to fix minor damage and purchased a part needed to get it fixed. Customer refused to proceed, stating she wanted the part to come from a dealer and not after market. Elite provided customer with carrier insurance documents we have on file, customer can summit a claim against carrier's cargo insurance policy. Elite is a 3rd party broker and is not responsible to pay for any damages. Carrier company name is [redacted], carrier is the one who insures cargo during transport, and the only one who is responsible for customers damages. Elite as a 3rd party broker provided customer with good customer service, helped customer mediate with carrier, and provided customer with all necessary paper work to summit a claim against carrier insurance we have on file. Elite did everything we can to help the customer. Carrier insurance documents attached, customer has a copy as well.

Review: I hired Elite Auto Carriers (Thomas James - ###-###-####)to transport my vehicle from Ocean City, MD to Florida. I made my reservation on December [redacted] for pick-up on January [redacted]. Three days before pick-up (January [redacted]) I called them. I was told that pick-up was on schedule & the driver would call me the night before. The driver did not call. I called them on January [redacted] and got a voice mail. I left 4 messages with no response. January [redacted] I called them and left 8 voice messages on one number, 4 voice messages on another number and 2 emails. Finally, that evening, Dispatcher Mike Roberts called me and said that my pick-up was not going to happen unless I drove 3 hours to either Baltimore or Virginia Beach. I told him no. He refused to return my deposit of $175 charged to my credit card, saying that he could hold me up for another 14 days if I didn't just back out of the contract.

This is a huge rip off scam that, apparently, is not uncommon among auto transport guys. I'm hearing nightmare stories now from others. They give a quote, knowing that you are planning to travel & have made travel arrangements, they wait until the last minute then tell you that they can't do it unless you pay them more.Desired Settlement: This company should give me back my $175 deposit, considering they did absolutely nothing

to make this transport happen. Because of their promise, I rented a car for three days and lost money on an airline ticket. I lost much more than $175. Unfortunately, I do not believe that this is a reputable company and I doubt they will make it right.

Review: I HAVE BEEN QUOTED BY : FOLLOWING NAMES THIS COMPANY IS USING :

ELITE AUTO CARRIER &LOGISTIC INC/LLC ,ELITE AUTO , ELITE UNITED AUTO TRANSPORT&LOGISTIC LLC,RELIABLE ELITE AUTO TRANSPORT ,ELITE TRANSPORTATION: THEY ARE ALL LISTED ON THE SAME ADDRESS: DEAR PARK NY. THERE ARE MULTIPLE COMPLAINTS WITH EXACT SCAM DESCRIBED.

ELITE REP CALLING HIM SELF MIKE R[redacted] / [redacted] QUOTED ME TO SHIP MY VEHICLE (2013 KIA SORENTO) FROM NEW JERSEY TO NEW ORLEANS FOR $697 USD. I HAVE ACCEPTED THAT QUOTE IN WRITTEN (BY E MAIL;) AND CLEARLY STATED THAT I WILL NOT PAY ANYTHING MORE THAN $697 USD . THEN I RECEIVED E MAIL FROM MIKE ASKING TO FILL UP AND ELECTRONIC;Y SIGN ACCEPTANCE OF DEPOSIT OF $180 USD IN FAVOR OF ELITE AUTO [redacted] LLC PROVIDING MY CC INFO ON THAT STATEMENT AND PROVIDING ELECTRONIC SIGNATURE. TODAY I GOT CALL FROM CARRIER (DRIVER) WHO ADVISED ME THAT VEHICLE WILL BE DELIVERED TOMORROW AND ASKING ME IF I HAVE $700 USD CASH FOR THE TRANSPORTATION OF MY VEHICLE. I SAID NO ,BECAUSE I HAVE ALREADY PAID $180 USD. THEN I CALLED MIKE R[redacted] AND AFTER I EXPLAINED TO HIM THE ISSUE HE WENT STRAIT ON TO CURSING ME ,CALLING ME NAMES AND ENDING BY THREATENING ME THAT HE WILL PLACE MY VEHICLE IN STORAGE AT $50 USD A DAY COST TO ME AND THAT HE WILL SUE ME ETC ETC. PROFANITIES AND ATTITUDE UNPRECEDENTED.

ALMOST AS A BLUE PRINT OF THE COMPLAINT FILED BY [redacted] ON 11/**/15 ON Revdex.com SITE AS WELL AS COMPLAINT FILED BY [redacted] ON SEPT ** 2015 ON [redacted] ETC ETC. THEN MOMENTS AGO I GOT E MAIL FROM MIKE SAYING THAT HE IS SORRY AND THAT COMPANY WILL OFFER ME $75 USD ONE TIME BONUS PAY FOR MY MISUNDERSTANDINGS ETC. ALSO MUST MENTION THAT WITH ORIGINAL QUOTE THIS COMPANY OFFERS IN WRITTEN A $25 USD DISCOUNT FOR A PRE-WRITTEN REVIEW. THIS IS TOTALLY ILLEGAL. HAVE CLEAR COPY OF THAT E MAIL WITH OFFER DESCRIBED.Desired Settlement: SINCE I HAVE DECIDED TO FIRST COLLECT MY VEHICLE FROM DELIVERY DRIVER AND PAY TO THE DRIVER EXACTLY $697 (BANKING CASHIERS CHECK) I AM DEMANDING FULL REFUND OF $180 USD PAID AS DEPOSIT .

Review: On October *, I agreed to transport a vehicle for Elite Auto Shipping, Inc. The shipping instructions did not include the vehicle was to be delivered to a port which I did not have security clearance (TWIC card)to do so. After communicating with Elite Auto Shipping and the owner of the vehicle to resolve the delivery instructions, I was asked to deliver the vehicle to a port storage which I did on October*, 2014. The [redacted] of Elite Auto Shipping, Inc. instructed me to communicate with and receive payment from the owner of the vehicle. The owner of the vehicle indicated he was making payment to Elite Auto Shipping, Inc. The transportation contract was between Elite Auto Shipping, Inc. and me. On two different occasions, Elite Auto Shipping, Inc. indicated payment in the form of a check was sent to me which I never received. Then, Elite Auto Shipping, Inc. agreed to wire payment to [redacted] which I have not received because the transaction requires a tracking number - Elite Auto Shipping, Inc. will not return my call so I can get the tracking number. To date, November**, 2014, I have made numerous calls and left messages for Elite Auto Shipping, Inc. to return my call in attempt to resolve the non-payment/broken contract issue.Desired Settlement: Elite Auto Shipping, Inc. needs to pay ($350.00) for the transportation service I provided - they did not meet their contractual agreement.
