I love Elite Clean and Restoration. They are very caring and customer pleasing oriented. They do great work At VERY reasonable pricing. We have been using Elite Clean for about 10 years now for so many things. In our previous home they did a complete duct replacement, and hauled off the old ducts. They did a full attic insulation blow, making sure the depth of the insulation was accurate and clean up. Then finally they did a complete indoor/outdoor HVAC install - and I didn?t have to break the bank to have it done. , they alter ice units as well, and you do not have to wait a month to get their service. Now we have purchased another home , they came out to service the system on Thursday, videoed everything they were concerned about with the system, installed a new system on Friday. We wouldn?t use anyone else but Elite clean for all our HVAC needs. We recommend this company to all family, friends and all DFW. Give them call, Tony the owner, and Tanner the lead sales and install technician, you will be glad you did. Excellent work on the new install guys!

Elite Air was great and responsive. On the initial service: duct cleaning and handler service, they were on time and professional. When I told John (technician) of a room that would not cool (or heat), he recommended a booster fan for that duct. The booster was installed but the output did not meet the expectations of the output. When I contacted Elite about this, they sent Tony (a great tech) the next day and now I have all the air I could ever want in the problematic room. Thanks so much, Elite, for your prompt and professional service.

I was very impressed with the work performed by Lance and Seth at my home today. Despite the huge job ahead they both remained positive and determined to give me the best possible service. The walked me through each phase of cleaning and provided before and after photos. I was throughly impressed with their work. Lance presented himself as a subject matter expert, which in turn put my mind to ease on the effectiveness of his approach to cleaning my AC system. This company is wonderful. They came out to service my AC all the way from Carrollton and because of what a small job it was they told me not to even worry about the cost of it. This is what I would call customer service at its best.

Elite's team of two, Ricardo & Javier if I remember correctly, arrived on July 7 at exactly 10:00am, the time I was told to expect them. Both young men were courteous and wasted no time getting to work. They spent almost two hours cleaning my air ducts and dryer vent, and they did an excellent job of cleaning up after themselves.

Sales and service were unnecessary and I was not informed of an easy fix. Another vendor was involved which they tried to blame.
I filed a complaint on January 23, 2020 ( see Case #XXXXXXXX) and cancelled it because Elite pressured me and said that it would hurt their business and someone would get fired over it. They assured me they would get this resolved if I cancelled my complaint. So I did.
This started in April of 2019 and still is not resolved. I am refiling my complaint because they did not resolve the issue and did work that was not needed, they didn't take photos of what they said was wrong and did not notify the roofer that the roofer had made a hole in the freon line. They should have stopped work until the roofer could have a look. After multiple requests to provide a photo of what they found, they ignored my calls, would not call the roofer to discuss and only came out to take a photo 10 months after the fact. (after I filed my complaint with you) I might note here that I chose them because the advertised amount for an AC was $2000. They charged $4500 for a smaller unit than what I previously had and tacked on $3,691.00 in interest for a total bill of $8,140.80.
The owner has been rude and Will (quality control) said he was going to lose his job and Matt told me if I continued with the complaint, I would have my warranty cancelled and they were done with me.
In December the roofer has tried to call Elite multiple times and they never returned their calls either.
No one at Elite has made resolution of this problem a priority and I am sitting on a bill that accruing daily interest. I have been paying for a year and my balance is the same as when I signed the finance agreement.
I did not need a new AC unit. All I needed was the have the freon line repaired and the roofer said they would have done it if they had been notified before the new AC unit was purchased.
I am a 74 year old single woman and cannot get them to cooperate with getting this solved.
I would like to have this researched and if Elite continues to ignore this, go to some form of arbitration to get it resolved. The roofer has agreed to come to give a statement, too.
I am hoping that with this renewed complaint , I can get this resolved.

Desired Outcome

The work didn't need to be done, and the amount they say I owe should be adjusted to the advertised price.

Every time I have spoken to representatives of this company they have been verbally abusive, threatening and rude. I called them at the above number and they are not willing to work with me or negotiate some relief for me. They deny any responsibility for selling me a AC unit when I didn't need it. They took more than 6 months to take and send a photo to the roofers to show what they found. The roofer would have fixed the problem immediately, but they were unresponsive to all calls from me and the roofers. They still maintain that I should be filing a claim with Revdex.com on the roofing company, who, by the way, has already given me $1400 in relief from their bill, was they feel bad as to what happened.
I am willing to negotiate a price to pay, but I am not willing to pay $4500 and with interest,$8500.00 to them when their advertised price was $2000. They sold me a smaller unit for more than twice as much money. I need some third party to be on any further calls with Elite as I am unwilling to be spoken to like they speak to me.

We diagnosed the problem as being low on refrigerant with possible compressor damage. The customer decided to upgrade the system to a 410A. The old system had r22 refrigerant (which is no longer being used). After the new unit was installed. We pressure tested the line set. During the pressure test, we found a leak in the copper suction line where it looked like a possible roofing nail. We removed the nail and braised the hole in the copper line. We finished running our test to fire up the unit and it was running well. We told the customer the issue of the line being damaged after we had fixed the problem. We had no idea that any long time issue had been going on until we were notified by the Revdex.com. Will went out there to take a picture of the sauntered line and have made several trips to the customer's house to help her with the situation. We have sent pictures to the roofing company to show what happened. Will and Elite have done everything they can to help resolve the issue.

I am not sure how many times or how differently I can explain to Elite that :
1. I called them as my AC was not cooling because they left an advertisement on my door for a $2000 unit.
2. They came and told me that I wasn't eligible for that unit, and talked me into another SMALLER unit at double the cost. I did not, in their words, decide to "upgrade the system". They told me that is what I needed.
3. Only AFTER they installed the unit did they tell me about the damaged line. (see their own words in their response) Telling me it was the roofer's fault. I asked for photos to send to the Roofers and they never took any photos and only after things escalated 6 months after the fact did they come out to take a photo.
4. The roofer would have repaired the line and helped with the cost, but we all waited and waited and waited for Elite's response.
5. Now after all this time, while we have been debating this, they are charging me usery interest rates of 50%.
6.I am responsible now for $8,000 which I DO NOT HAVE! I am 74 years old on a fixed income. I will talk about a negotiated price with them, if they agree to accept half the $4000 and eliminate the interest that I owe for a total of $2500.
7. ELite has been verbally abusive to me and threatening that my warranty will not be valid if I continue in this Revdex.com complaint. I was told Will would lose his job because of this. It has been pure intimidation. The owner , while on the phone with the roofer, called me names and was going to go on but the roofer stopped him telling him I was listening on the phone. This is not how you treat your customers when there is a disagreement.

The guy's where very professional . Did a great job. Would use them again.

Collected payment prior to completion. Advertised duct cleaning for $99 but do not complete & try to charge an additional $250, bait & switch.
Elite duct cleaning service came by to collect payment prior to their service tech's coming out to complete the job. This is a basic "sales practices" problem. The tech's came out an hour later and performed the service cleaning the dryer duct. I asked the tech's how much lint they pulled out and they didn't know. I asked them if they check to see if the air flow if properly venting through the exterior vent and they said no. Once they said they were done I went outside to see if air was flowing through and the blockage was still there as there was no air flow. The Elite tech called his boss and put a person named "Will" on the phone to talk to me. Will said to clean the entire duct is an additional $250.00 and I just wanted the "special". I asked Will to check to see if he could go lower and he said he would check and call me back. This was on 11/11/19, Veterans Day. As of 11/28/19 Will has never called me back. A few days later I called Cliff, who collected the payment, and advised him of exactly what happened and he advised that I wanted the special and if there are any 90 degree angles they can't clean it for $99 which is the "special." This was never communicated nor was it in their advertisement. A week later an Elite rep called me about my service and I advised her of what happened and I disputed the charge and would not pay this because this is against the law and it's called bait & switch. Tony, the GM, called me later and left a message for me. In the message Tony advised me advised me all sales are final and non-refundable. I called Tony back twice and left messages and he never returned a call.

Desired Outcome

I want the $108.20 refunded to my credit card and I want them to stop the false advertising and the bait and switch tactic.

We are truly saddened to hear you were displeased with your experience. For almost fifteen years we have been one of DFWs most reliable, affordable, and honest companies. We take pride in doing exceptional work at a competitive price, unfortunately we know we can't always be as low on price as every company in North Texas, but we do guarantee the quality of work from one of our many licensed, uniformed, and certified technicians. We apologize for the inconvenience. Our coupon does state that Dryer Vent Cleaning is $99.95. Disassemble, outside, or roof access is extra. After assessing your vents you were given the choice for a basic cleaning ($108.20 including tax) and given the higher price to have it disassembled and cleaned. When speaking with the customer he stated he was happy with the basic cleaning. He was not pleased with having to pay more for a full cleaning. Unfortunately, we are a business and do have to charge for our services. Thank you for taking the time to discuss your concerns with us.

Thank you for reaching out to us, we apologize for any frustration. With the extremely high ceilings in the home we could not risk our technicians falling off the ladder at that height. We saved the customer over $450 by giving them special pricing. Knowing that we might have been unable to clean 3 out of the 40 vents, we gave the customer the price of $1,567.80. We also cleaned 3 main units. Customer stated at the end of the job he was very satisfied with the work and the technicians did an excellent job. For liability reasons they could not reach the 3 vents due to the ceiling height. Elite does not want a technician or any one to get hurt on a job site. We did not charge the customer for the 3 vents that we did not clean. This work was completed August 27th. This is the first time we have been notified of any issues or concerns. Please call us anytime you have a concern so that we can resolve your issue immediately. Your satisfaction is our #1 priority.

Service failed within 2 months of completion. No refund has been granted despite communicating that if the stop leak failed they would refund me.
No receipt was issued. No documentation of the promise to refund me if the stop-leak failed was granted. I asked repeatedly for both, and never got either.

On June 21st, 2019, I had an AC leak. Final Cost for services was $700. For 5 Freon I was charged $200. A whooping $500 was for a Stop-Leak bottle that I took a picture of and later researched you could purchase for a range of $12-$20. When asking for a discounted rate on the stop-leak, Salesperson Tanner, communicated to me that they couldn't because the cost of the stop leak for the company is $250. 2 months later, it failed and I'm back to the same problem. I was lied too. Tanner communicated to be that if the stop-leak failed they would refund me. It failed. I reached out to Tanner, and have been told they won't refund me. Even more so, he attempted to up-sell me again to a new system, (i.e. attempting to suck more money from me...) rather than fix the problem at the source (by soldering the leak) they continue to promote a band-aid solution (even though he found the area / source of the leak in my attic).

I never received an invoice (after repeatedly asking for it). I never received in writing that they would refund me if the stop-leak didn't work (after repeatedly asking for it). They have went back on their word and claim "they never said that" which is probably why they would never put it in writing for me.

Mrs., we are very sorry the stop leak and the sealant did not resolve your issue. We did state, on the invoice you signed, that the work was not guaranteed. We suggested that you have the part be replaced. We even stated in the invoice we would credit back money and put it towards the new part if the service failed. Which we still honor.
