We were called because Mrs. ac was not cooling her home. When we arrived at Mrs. home we noticed there was a small leak in the condenser coil. Our recommendation was to put stop leak in the system and add 5 lbs of refrigerant. We offered to clean her air ducts for FREE since she was getting the other work done. Mrs. agreed to our recommendation. Please look at the attached invoice. As you can see we went out to Mrs. home on August 4th, 2018 for an Ac Checkup almost a year ago. We installed 5 lbs. of 410A, stop leak, and serviced all accessible vents. We installed the refrigerant and stop leak in the outside unit. Air duct cleaning is done by going to each room, removing the vent cover, and inserting our roto brush into the ducts. The roto brush machine is large and does not fit in the attic. We had no reason to go in the attic on this particular job. Mrs. unit filled with water due to a clogged drain line and a malfunctioning safety float switch. NOT because we cleaned the air ducts or installed stop leak and refrigerant. In the video our technician took you can clearly see that your safety float switch is broken. When the drain line gets full of water your safety float switch should rise and shut off the system. However, since it was broken it did not shut it off, causing it to leak and damage your ceiling. If the drain line isn't properly cleaned, algae and mold can grow inside and clog the drain, causing elevated humidity, musty odors and water damage inside your home. That is not something that we caused. As far as your plenum box falling off, that is due to your son going into the attic and trying to stop the water leak. He failed to do a proper job when closing the plenum. We did not perform any work in your attic. Again, we are sorry this happened. We are not the cause for your water leak. Your drain line being clogged and your safety float switch malfunctioning caused the damages.

Was not provided free duck cleaning! Original quote was so much more, but John can down out of the thousands to make me think I was getting a deal. Insisted I go up the attic wit him so he could show me how but AC unit needed cleaning.
Elite has blamed problem on my son, even trashed AC company Frymire and said they they came out and destroyed & I was trying to blame them. Frymire came out 6/14/19 provided written evaluation. There is No clog in line , and that is why I do not have any continue water leak. Unit was not put back together after Elite employees cleaned unit was almost touching Attic floor. Straps & door left on floor of attic.
As far as 2 broken switches. Why did John not point these out to me when we were in the attic together! I have photos of unit!
We filling Complain with the State.
I do not what anything from this company will handle my own repairs I would never trust them to work in my home, and a consumer I want to make sure the public is aware of dishonesty & rudeness practices of this company.

They are dishonest & not taking responsibility for work performed. warranty

Salesman and owner sold product they said would kill surface mold in vents. Spoke w/ MFG who said their product does not kill surface mold.
There is a reason this company is not Revdex.com accredited. They sold me a product (Clear Sky Air Purifier) and claimed it did something it was not capable of doing (killing surface mod in vents). When I completed some research and contacted the manufacturer they confirmed it was not designed or capable of doing what I was told by the Sales Representative (Tanner ***). Tony *** then tried to sell me a more expensive product (Reme Air Purifier) to do what the first product was supposed to do. Their rep failed to show up twice on their scheduled date. The day they were to install the new product I had a bad feeling and called the manufacture (Jeff) to ensure it was capable of doing what I was promised. The manufacture again told me that product also could not do what I was promised it could do by Tony. I then had the manufacture rep call Tony where he explained that they tested the product and it was not designed and capable of killing surface mold. Tony continued to send me reviews, not from the manufacturer, trying to convince me that the product could do what he thought it could even after the manufacturer told him it could NOT. He was told it only killed surface bacteria and viruses and not mold. Tony then tried to convince me mold was the same thing as bacteria and mold which it is not. Tony has yelled at me twice and hung-up on me twice and was very unprofessional. They refuse to return my money and want to keep $1,300 for free services they provided as an incentive to purchase their product. They will refund me $950 if I return the Clear Sky units which I refuse to do unless I receive a full refund. This company will tell you anything to sell you something and make money. I tried to resolve this through several e-mails and have filed a dispute with a credit card company for the $1,300 charge. Unfortunately I paid $950 cash and can't dispute that with my credit card company. The original service call was May 17 and my complaint was a couple days afterwards and it has still not been resolved.
Order XXXXXXXX

Desired Outcome

I wish full refund of the $2,250 I paid for the product I was sold under false pretense. When i receive my full refund I will happily have them get their Clear Sky units.

Mr., please read the binding contract that you have between Elite and yourself. We do package deals with customers all the time, especially with purifiers. When we do a package deal we also state on the contract that this is a special package price with no refunds. I tried to work out things with you yesterday. If you do not like the purifier, I understand, but you still have my equipment, and I would charge you for the complete bacterial cleanse cleaning of the other two systems that we did. You stated yourself the crew did an excellent job in your home cleaning both systems. we do have book pricing on everything and that would be $600 per system plus tax equals a total of $1299. I would love to work this situation out with you, but you do not makeup pricing for Elite we have standard pricing from the book. That is what everyone goes by, it is what the company charges... In the same regard that is your choice to tell us yes or no. In this particular situation you got a special package price, please read your contract that you signed. At the same time, you will not let us come out to your house and take out the purifiers. We are willing to give you a credit on the purifiers. In return, we will charge you for the work that was done in your house because now you are breaking up the special package pricing deal. We just want to be paid for the work that you are happy with, you want entire credit for everything. My guys did an excellent job in your house cleaning. You never stated that in your remarks. You only stated that you were unhappy with the purifiers, RGF, is a great company that makes very good purifiers, I am very sorry that you are unhappy, I would like to make this right, but at the same time do you have to be charged for the work that was done that you are happy with, I don't want any negative customers, I hope and pray that we can work this out.

Thank you very much

(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)
Tony sent Chris on today to try to rectify the situation. Chris is an employee of Tony and works in Quality Control. Chris was professional and respectful. I explained the situation and he offered me the same resolution as Tony mentions in his reply which I declined. During the conversation, Chris offered another option of cleansing and cleaning the ducts at no additional cost to remove the mold. However, I did not take this option for the reasons listed below:

1. Yesterday Tony said he would send Chris and that Chris would not have any knowledge of the complaint and could resolve it as a neutral person. Chris arrived and already knew about he situation and had pre-agreed terms of agreement from Tony.
2. Chris stated that ONE Clear Sky was capable of cleaning the air of the house as it was less than 3000 square feet and wondered why Tanner sold me two units.
3. My distrust of Tony's truthfulness grew as Chris offered a solution that would seem to work. However, earlier, Tony advised the only solution was to rip out sheet rock and replace all the ducts which would cost an additional $4,000 to $6,000.
4. Chris made comments during the conversation in which Tanner admitted to promising me the Clear Sky was capable of killing surface mold and he had learned he was wrong. Chris further made statements that it appears Tony was more worried about profit than doing the right thing and there had been previous incidents in the past with Tony's desire for profit over doing the right thing and anger with other customers.
5. Chris stressed the NO REFUND in the contract. He later admitted it would not pertain to dishonest sales, deceptive business practices and sales under false pretense.
6. I again reiterated that I am not paying $1,300 for free services I did not request and were offered for free from Tanner for agreeing to purchase the Clear Sky Units. The prices of the bacterial cleansing of the units was no disclosed on the invoice or work order from Tanner further proving that it was not a bundled price package.
7. Ultimately, I believe Chris was trying to help me remedy the mold and this situation but said Tony would not allow a full refund. I told Chris that I could not choose his option because I had lost trust in Tony and his company truly trying to do the right thing. I would have likely accepted this offer originally but not after being yelled at by Tony, hung up on twice and lied to on numerous occasions and Tony trying to sell me much pricier options that were equally or less effective than the option Chris gave.
7. I told Chris I still desire a full refund and they can have the units back. If not, then I will let my Credit Card dispute finalize and likely get my $1,300 refunded and I would retain the Clear Sky units until I received a refund for the $950 I paid in cash.

Elite Clean & Restoration Response • Jun 07, 2019

Chris came to your home to resolve the issues. He offered you a full refund on the air purifiers. However, we cannot refund your money until the purifiers are returned to us. You refused this offer.

Customer Response • Jun 10, 2019

(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)
I have not been offered a full refund for my air purifiers. I was offered a refund of $950 for the $2,250 I paid for the air purifiers. Company is wanting to keep $1,300 for free services provided that were not requested by consumer and was added for free by the sales rep. Will only settle for full refund of the air purifiers ($2,250). I will gladly return the purifiers when they really give a full refund of all money paid.

I WAS SO SKEPTICAL!

***

I called Elite to do some work in my house. Johnnie came, looked around, and gave me a price. Before we finalize everything, I decided to read some reviews about them. The reviews were awful and I called the company and told them not to come, because of the bad reviews. Tony, (CEO) called me and I told him that he and his company are not who I want to do business with. Tony ask me to give them a chance, because he said all bad reviews are not what they seem. I said no and got off the phone. Johnnie came over and I said there is no way I will allow you and your crew into my house. He tried convincing me, but I again said no. The next day Tony called and I couldn't believe they wouldn't except "NO". He told me about his company and the people who works there. Still skeptical, I told him I have to be satisfied before I pay a dime and he thought it was fair enough. John came out and wrote up the contract into 3 Phases and he explained, like Johnnie of what was needed and why.

Tony called to let me know when the crew will be at my house and their names. He told me what they will be doing and if I have any questions, please ask them. Kevin and Juan came to do the cleaning of all my vents and air ducts. I watched them and asked plenty of questions. They didn't just answer my questions, but they let me see what they were doing and explained everything. I really enjoyed them and they are nice and respectful. After they finished they called Tony and Tony asked for me. He wanted to know how I felt about the work and the crew. I told him the guys were respectful and showed and told me everything I needed to know and I am happy with the work. The next day, he gave me a courtesy call of who was coming next, what they will be doing and their names. Steven and Courtney showed up and they did the same things as Kevin and Juan and answered my questions in detail. Very respectful guys and they did the radiant barrier. Again, when they finished, they called Tony and I had to tell Tony that I am impressed. Steven and Courtney returned the next day to do the last part of the work. Tony did call as a courtesy. They did the what and why they were putting in insulation and let me see what they did. Whenever, I called the business and say my name, Ms nice Bonnie (CSR) will either answer my question or have Tony to call me.

I am very impressed by their work and they only stopped to explain things to me. Please give Tony and his crew a chance. I know more now about my house. They really do awesome work. Still skeptical, ask Tony to call me, with you, on the phone. I will prove it to you.

Indoor air quality compromised significantly after failing to clean per EPA, IICRC, NADCA standards. Health problems, medical bills, etc after visits.
Elite Clean & Restoration, The Cleaner Image Carpet & Restoration, *** (Jack) *** should refund at min. 25% paid due to poor work, false advertising, lack of licensing from NADCA, IICRC, etc. as it relates to indoor air quality, non-certified employees/co. performing to industry standards & health issues caused. Medical bills, prescriptions & health issues experienced sustained in order to alleviate some problems. 8/17/18 *** came. *** gave a verbal est. of $5,000-$7,000 8/16/18 - ValPak & AdPages offered a $1999 system, *** said to replace RHEEM Classic X Heat Pump (electric) & furnace, $5,000-$7,000. I had price quotes from a few companies & needed to install. John quoted an AC system/furnace of $10,500. I asked to speak with ***, he said I had not given him the correct model info, which I had! The most they would "drop" the price to was $8500. I had a vendor ready to pick up a new system that morning for $5500; John was sitting there & knew this. I told John I had to sell a car first; The other vendor was aware & willing to do the work. Then came the scare tactics, *** claimed "Carrier" was a piece of junk, I wouldn't be able to get my AC serviced as the owner was employed for himself." *** said he $3k a week with Elite during his off season, when not filming Misfit Garage; was certified to sell the systems & tried to "hook me up with a musician friend..." Con artists - The air filter box, preinstalled with the system, would be $250. Plastic base, ($250), city permit ($250), etc. no thermostat installed. I told John that I'd probably go with the other company, I sell the car. He wouldn't leave. John B., a mechanic, & *** preyed on me & offered to take the car as payment. (KBB value for 2011 Lincoln MKZ, 60,000 miles private seller offer $7,791). John B., said the "owner's wife," who he bragged he got on TV, has "expensive tastes" and would "take cars, jewelry." I said maybe I will consider a title loan, something I've not done; he was adamant they wanted the car which had new AC, radiator, compressor, tires, front and rear brakes, etc. I asked for a duct cleaning, something I have done numerous times before & he agreed. 4 vents and no return were cleaned on 8/17/18. This caused dirt, dust, pollen, pet dander & possibly mold spores to be circulated throughout. I asked the tech if they were cleaning & he lied to my face. 8/20/18, I saw that only 4 vents were opened based on recent painting done. *** sent his "supervisor" Stevan W. out to reclean; I sent a picture of the filter after 4 days of use showing what my children and I were breathing in. They then "re-cleaned" the vents & return. The filter is shocking & air quality, dangerously polluted. The vents kept shoving out clumps of dirt, took photos, called the office & John B., 8/22/18. *** called 8/23/18 said *** would arrive at 10 am. At 10:50 am, I called John B. who rudely said he had no appt. with me, was in Rowlett, etc. Later he came, I showed him the dirt being spewed out, the air filter, explained week & told him I wanted a partial refund. He laughed, said that was "...not going to happen." I asked him to install an air filter in 1" slot, not 2" slot, he put it upside down. I asked him if it was correct, he said, "No." & then put it in correctly! They know I wanted the air vents recleaned a 3rd time, but not by Elite; he & owner tried to intimidate me. I mentioned designations on John B.'s business card - HVAC, EPA, IICRC, NADCA -. *** D. said I sold a 'bad car', mocked me saying you told me "5 times I was taking antibiotics" & tried to blame me for bad indoor air quality! The amoxicillin didn't work; doctor suggested an x-ray to check for bacterial pneumonia; I refused, they wanted full payment: $248.10 scripts $122. 9/1/2018, Severe Bronchitis, Prescribed: Doxycycline Hyclate, Prednisone, Promethazine DM, Flovent HFA. As a consumer, I allowed them chances to do the work right, hold placed on card $1841.

Desired Outcome

I allowed them several chances to do the work right, I placed a hold on my card for $1841. Medical, cleaning services, etc. leave only this option. John B., mechanic, offered $6250 for the car, paid $410 cash. CHASE will receive this info for a dispute of $1841. As a consumer, I am asking for a refund of $2125.25 to pay for medical costs, prescriptions, home clean, hire a professional company to clean the vents and return, and visually inspect via recording the work before and after, etc.

Elite Clean & Restoration Response • Oct 10, 2018

Elite Clean & Restoration Inc. would like to come to a mutual agreement with the customer. Desired Resolution would be to come out a third time and re-clean the duct work to Mrs. satisfaction. Elite Clean & Restoration was granted the funds in a charge back dispute that Elite Clean & Restoration Inc. was granted release of funds. Attached below is the letter that was sent to the bank at the time of the charge back dispute. A truck was sent back to her to drop off the coil that she states is dented or marked. 15 yrs old it very well could have been done with the De-installation. We normally send all non working, old removed units to scrap.

Customer Response • Oct 24, 2018

This company / employees / contractors are not allowed to step on the property for a third time to re-clean because this is something they claim they can do right the first time.
Photos already attached in previous complaint. NO current IICRC, NADCA standards adhered to, despite the accreditation they issue on business cards, constituting consumer fraud in Texas.

Spent $150 to clean a working evaporator cool to be. IT was made Damaged and unusable by Elite Clean technicians after John Belitere boasted and said I could sell it. Home needs to have ducts thoroughly cleaned, using video inspection. Reimbursement of health expenses, and suffering, directly correlating to the air quality they significantly compromised. This includes, doctor appointment $248+,prescriptions $122+. HUNTER Thermostat now inconsistently works with heating/cooling system, requiring constant adjustments to cool and heat.

The humidity levels also need to be reduced. After installation of system, the humidity levels are much higher and need to be controlled through a new thermostat. Water is draining after every cycle ends when the AC is running.

A refund of 25% is requested to recover costs for the hired a cleaning company paid, medical bills occurred Severe Bronchitis and Asthma flare up, multiple, costly & potent prescriptions. Re-cleaning by a professional company in the industry is mandatory that has a A or B rating with the Revdex.com not an F, which Elite Clean Restoration currently holds after they closed The Cleaner Image Carpet and Restoration, due to a hurting Revdex.com rating.

Jack *** at 817/522/4318 is scamming people. The Cleaner Image Carpet and Restoration had a horrible rating until recently, due to length of time passed and the dissolution of the business. Now, *** is doing the same thing with this business through lies and deception, poor and incomplete work. I will not subject myself or children to having any representative of the company 'correct' the newly exposed indoor air breathing problems. Mold, Bacterial Spores, Pollen, Dander, and more were partially removed from the ducts and then blown through the home consistently. Please understand, this is a health problem and a service issue.

I was charged for services not rendered, fraudulent sales practices for replacement parts that were not broken, unresolved problem and still billed
7/25/2018 I contacted this company for A/C service. 7/27/2018 The rep came to evaluate the problem. He wrote the service agreement for
"evacuate R22, apply stop leak, refill with 407c-$850". At the time my ac unit was running but not cooling efficiently, temp in home was 78degrees. A "technician" form this company then came and worked on the system. He said that he "pulled out all of the R22 but was unable to fill with the 407c because it won't hold pressure". Aprox 1 hour later, the temperature in my home reached 94degrees. When I contacted the initial rep he said the technician told him that my system needed a new compressor and that would cost $2900. I told them not to do the repair at that time due to finances. I had a second opinion performed on 7/29/2018 and was told that my compressor was working properly. I then spoke with "Tony" at Elite and told him that I had a second opinion done and my compressor was working. He told me "I don't know what to tell you but you got what you paid for". I asked for a refund due to the fact that the services I was charged for was not performed. The system WAS NOT refilled with the 407c so my system was running without any coolant substance at all. My house was uninhabitable after their service and they were aware that a small child lived in the home. I contacted them multiple times to resolve this complaint which is to refund my money. I had to get another company to fix the actual problem which was the condenser coil that was still under warranty.

Desired Outcome

I want a refund of the $850 i was charged for services that I did not receive. I have spoken to several HVAC contractors that have told me "good business practice is to not charge the client until the problem is fixed". Elite knew the problem was not fixed and tried to sell me parts that I didn't even need. I can get a statement from the technician that actually fixed the system stating that the compressor Elite told me needed replaced was indeed in working order. The misdiagnosis from this company caused my family hardship being in the heat of summer and extra expense to get it actually fixed correctly. All I am asking for is the $850 I paid to Elite Clean and Restoration

Elite Clean & Restoration Response • Sep 20, 2018

Elite arrived at job on 7/27/2018 to perform an evaluation of the customer unit. Upon inspection we informed the customer that the condenser coil had a leak. We told the customer we did not know the size of the leak. At the time of diagnosis, it held 2-3 lbs. of freon. We suggested replacing the condenser coil. The customer did not want to go with that option due to finances, so instead, decided to use stop leak and 407-c freon. We advised the customer there was no guarantee with this option but if it did not work we would put the price of that towards a new unit. Customer Signed For that option to be done stating that she understood there was no warranty or guarantee. Customer called back and said the freon had leaked out, our recommendation to her was to replace her system. She had requested a train unit. We informed her that we were not a licensed Trane dealer. However, Elite did offer to do an deinstall and install with our licensed and trained technician and use the payment from previous work towards the new install. Elite has not heard back from customer since the option was given to her. Elite always tries to repair any problem before doing an install if possible. Elite would like to resolve this issue and give credit for other services rendered. We hope to hear back from the customer to resolve the issue.

Customer Response • Sep 21, 2018

(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)
The information in the response from this business is not accurate and contains fabricated information. Dishonesty and lack of business integrity is the root of the problem. At the time of the initial repair, I WAS NOT informed it was the condenser coil, I was told it was the COMPRESSOR and was given a quote for a COMPRESSOR.and offered an expensive new unit. Another company I used for a second opinion diagnosed the condenser coil and I INFORMED TONY OF THIS INFORMATION. The technician from Elite, stated at the time of the repair, that he did not fill the system with freon because he could not get it to reach pressure. In reality, all the R22 in my system was extracted and NO COOLANT was put back in. Yes they did recommend purchasing a New system, which was unnecessary due to the fact that the current unit was less than 5 years old and still under warranty. I have already used another company to make the correct repairs. The only acceptable resolution is a refund of the money I already paid for services I did not receive. I will not be using Elite in the future so a "service credit" is not an acceptable option.

New AC does not cool my house.
I was having trouble with my AC tripping my breakers. It worked fine, I just wanted the convenience of not having to go outside to flip a breaker every few hours. Company said I needed a new AC. They cleaned my existing ducts and ran new ducts to two rooms. They removed my WORKING AC in June and left me with nothing for several weeks in triple-degree heat. Then they installed the new AC, but it DOESN'T COOL MY HOUSE. I complained, they came out and checked the AC. They said the AC is making cool air, but it's leaking in the attic so there isn't enough pressure to cool my house.
My prior AC cooled my house just fine - It was not "leaking" in the attic before they messed with it. I went up there last night, and I found several large gaping holes in the ductwork. I tried to fix those, but it's still 87 degrees in my house so obviously there's more that I can't see.
I am tired of the heat. I can't take more of this, and it's unfair to make me sit here in the heat for MONTHS because THEY tore up my ducts. I paid thousands of dollars and have a brand new AC. I just want cool air in my home.

Desired Outcome

I want them to fix the ducts they broke or whatever it takes for me to have cool air in my home. If they can't fix the AC and give me cool air, I want a full refund.

Customer Response • Oct 26, 2018

The company made contact a few days ago, and they came out today to fix the ducts. Please remove this complaint.

I found out that roof rats had chewed through my air ducts from a different ac company. The quote to replace the duct work seemed high so I called my realtor for advice. She recommended Elite Clean and Restoration. She had used them for several projects and had been happy with their services. Elite had replaced an a/c unit, cleaned duct work, cleaned a dryer vent as well as installed a hyper allergenic a/c system for her clients.
Tanner came out to my house and inspected my attic. The price he quoted me was 35% cheaper! The Elite team came out the very next day to install the new duct work. They were friendly, courteous and professional. My house was still not cooling so I called to see if they could come check their work. Again they were there within 24 hours. The attic was cold. Upon further inspection the Plenum boxes were also chewed thru.
Tony (the owner), gave a reasonable price to replace and install the boxes over the phone. He explained that since it was Friday, the Plenum box would be ordered and installed once they received it, which could be Saturday, or Monday. He called me personally on Saturday to let me know that it would be there Monday morning, and apologized for it not being there Saturday. It was installed first thing Monday. When Kevin brought the box in to install, he showed me the dark insulation which roof rats don't like to chew compared to the pink. My a/c is cooling properly now! I am excited to find Elite Clean & Restoration. I highly recommend them!

Great, honest company. Came out very quickly when I called them for service on my AC. John (technician) was very knowledgeable and courteous. He had my system fixed in about 2 hours. Was very thorough in checking both the outside unit as well as the attic unit to ensure that he gave me the proper diagnosis. I will recommend them to any and all of my friends and family.

Thank you very much, we appreciate your business, please call us in the future if you have any problems

I have really bad asthma and allergy problems. Since we bought our new home my issues have worsened. Not being an ac expert I called to set up a summer ac check up. After talking to the receptionist she told me it sounded like I needed to get my air ducts and air handler cleaned. She kindly explained it to me. After listening I agreed with her and set an appointment to get air ducts and air handler cleaned. The gentlemen did an excellent job cleaning and my issues were resolved. They could have let me pay for an ac check up $49.95 and then told me my issues were related to the filthy air ducts and then charge me for that. BUT they were honest! Cant beat honesty now a days. Thank y'all so much.

My daughter/ granddaughter had a 19 year old air conditioner leaking water into bathroom shower.
It was still keeping the house cool, but I knew it was un-sanitary , and either need to be repaired, or replaced. On Tuesday afternoon I started calling A/C company's, what a maze. Who do I pick?
I had three different A/C jobbers lined up for Wednesday visits for a bid of replace. One had just left the house, after submitting his bid. My cell phone rang, it was ***, the owner of Elite Clean and Restoration, telling me his repair man John was on his way to our house. John arrived hooked up pressure gauge, which showed feon was a little low. John then moved into the house to check on the air handler, and found too many problem to make repairs decision. I ask him to give us a bid for a new replacement unit. He did give us a bid which I thought was too high, as I had just received a bid from from the former A/C man.
John said he thought his boss *** would make a better offer. Which he did, in fact so much better that after we had agreed to the offer, later in the evening, I became skeptic, and tried to cancel the whole thing. *** called me on the phone early Thursday morning, told me he was a man of his word, that I could trust him. He said every promise he had made, he would honor, and the total price we had agreed to was to be the final price we would pay. No added costs.
I agreed to have them come on out, and install the agreed upon Lennox unit.
What a good job they did, everything looks so neat and professional. They cleaned all the vents and added anti-bacterial spray to each. They also cleaned up all the mess, hauled away the old unit. As *** stated to me, the price quoted was the final price we paid.
It is so refreshing to find a business you can trust. You can trust ***, and Elite Clean and Restoration of Rowlett Texas. HDQ. (XXX) XXX-XXXX

Company repaired drain line, left leak that damaged ceiling and kitchen light. Company refuses to do repairs to kitchen light and ceiling.
Company engaged on June 8, 2018, to clean air vents... (told its $275). Upon arrival, told therewere several problems with AC totaling approximately $1500.00. One problem mentioned was cogged drain lines, which I paid $300 to flush that same day.
On Jue 15th, another AC company, which I have an annual contract with, discovered a leak in the attic immediately (about 1-2 minutes in the attic)upon their inspection, which leaked they showed me, and I took pictures and sent to Jeff Pierce, employee at Elite Clean & Restoration (I had his Cell number because he had texted me pictures of my unit in the attic). I then paid the employee from the other AC company approximately $189 to repair the leak immediately.
Later that day (June 15th), approximately 7 PM (about an hour or two after the leak was stopped), my family and I were in the kitchen preparing dinner when the lights went out. Then my daughter in law asked what was the stain on the living room ceiling. It was then I realized the water had leaked through from the attic, damaged the ceiling and the kitchen lights.
I again reached out to Jeff, who represented himself to be a supervisor/manager of the company, who then told me on Monday (June 18th) they would take care of the problems. On that day two of their employees (Stephen and Bryce) arrived at my home, I stay home from work to take care of this matter...upon their arrival, I took them to the attic, next to the drain pipe. They said it looked dry to them ( I left a left on in the attic from Friday to Monday to dry out the area), I told them they needed to open the attic-flooring to see if the insulation was wet. Reluctantly they did, and discovered the insulation was still wet. They said they don't know what to do about that, and I then called the company and Mr. *** answered and told them (I had him on speaker) to remove the wet insulation and replace it.
They did so that day, and told me tomorrow they will return with insulation (they said the area needs more drying) and they would check on the lights tomorrow (Tuesday, June 19th). Before leaving on Monday (June 18th), they sprayed the WATER-DAMAGED part of the ceiling with what they said was a Mold rdant, and they left.
Tuesday, June 19th, I stayed home from work again to get this matter addressed. The same two employees returned. They brought insulation rated R-16 to install in my attic. I told them that according to the federal government, the ceiling in this area (Zone 2) must have insulation rated between R-30 to R-38. I asked them to call Jeff, who then advised that was all they have at their shop. I asked them to go to Home Depot, approximately 3 miles from my home to buy the correct insulation.
After more than an hour, they returned, installed the insulation in the attic, replaced the light bulbs (fluorescent lights) in the kitchen. When the lights did not come on, Stephen said since the area around the light is dry, it must not have been caused buy the leak ( I reminded him that four days later, why would there still be water on the metal). They left and said Jeff will call later about painting the roof and fixing the kitchen.
Later that evening (even after I texted Jeff asking the status, several hours later before he reached out to me) Jeff called to say his guys did not see any water damage to the lights, and so *** will have to address that. Secondly, he said, I will have to buy the paint, and they will comeout sometime to paint only the damaged part of the ceiling.
*** called me on Wednesday, June 20th to say pretty much what Jeff said the day before: I have to purchase the paint to paint the damaged area, and that I am on my own with the lights.
I asked him to send someone to match the paint, and to paint the ceiling and fix lights, he said no.
My Job# JXXXXX.
I need them to have a painter match the paint, paint ceiling and have an electrician repair the kitchen lights. Mr. said that will not happen.

Desired Outcome

I want to be able to hire an electrician and a painter to do the repairs and have them (Elite) pay for the service. I do understand I have to engage in a commercially reasonable manner in hiring qualified and reasonable contractors to do this work. I am having real consternation with these folks returning to my home. I don't think the employees who came to my home are qualified employees - i say that because the two employees they sent to my home attempted to: determine source of leak, replace insulation, spray ceiling after determining if it had to be replaced or not, check the lights in the kitchen...I just have a difficult time believing they are qualified to be electricians, masonry qualified, painters, and AC technicians...all in one?

Elite Clean & Restoration Response • Jul 13, 2018

Mr. called our Company because he had drain line problems, the day we went out there, they were severe problems, his drain pan was full of water and it was leaking over on top of the ceiling, and plywood, we blew the drain lines out, the very next day he stated that it was full of water again, we immediately went out there to see what is causing the problem, his wife would not let us in the door until he was home, he did not respond back and let us out there for proximally three days after the first initial visit, after days of sitting, the customer finally let us back in, at that time we realized he had tremendous dirt and debris in the pan that was continuing to clog the system up, The customer is stating we caused damage to his house, which initially the pan was full of water and he had previous damage already, he said that his lights went out, in which he has a two-story house and the systems are located in the attic, and the lights that one out on the first floor completely away from the systems, my technician with the customer in hand follow the water lines, and the water lines Was nowhere near the lights, which at that time the customer agreed, I contacted the customer immediately wanted to resolve the issue, and not have this type of issues on our hand, I offer the customer a full refund, the customer did verbally agreed to that, then when he talk to his wife he wants more money on top of the refund which was paid, I would love to resolve this problem and give him a full refund , Thank you very much

Customer Response • Jul 17, 2018

(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)
I do not accept the response from this company because it is a complete fabrication of what happened. I have attached pictures of the damages; texts about the damages to my home sent to and received from Elite's employee Jeff Pierce (the one who came to my home for the June 8th, appointment) and email exchanges (forwarded separately as I could not figure out how to attach) between the Owner *** and me. From looking at this evidence you will see the extent of the lies told by Mr. in his response because in no communication with me does he mention the existing damage to my home as the reason for my engaging his company.

In June 2018, I received in the mail an envelop of coupons from a Valpak.com, to include a coupon from Elite Clean and Restoration, Inc., (the business in question, please see attached coupon). The coupon was for Air Duct Cleaning for $64.95. Because I have a two-year existing contract with another AC company (King Air Conditioning, Inc., please see attached agreement and service invoices with them) to service my AC Units, I called to ask them if they perform air duct cleaning. They said no, and so I called and set up an appointment with Elite for Friday, June 8th between 8AM-12PM. Late Thursday afternoon, June 7th (between 4PM-5PM), I received a call at home from a person who identified himself as ***, who said he was calling to confirm tomorrow's appointment and to ask me to verify the number of vents and returns in my home, as the coupon price to clean the vents is limited to 10 vents, 1 return and 1 system. Based upon the number of vents, returns and units at my home, *** told me the actual cost to clean the vents was approximately $275.00. He asked me who would be home tomorrow for the appointment, and I told him my wife.

On Friday, June 8th, my wife called me while I was at work and told me the employee, Jeff Pierce, wanted to talk to me on the phone (at first we talked on my wife phone and then later that morning he called me again, but from his cell phone). Upon talking with him, he mentioned that my system had a slow AC leak, the drain pan needs to be emptied and that the drainpipes are clogged and need to be flushed immediately or it could burst and flood the home. I told him about the contract I had with King Air and that they had just performed a service of the system sometime late March or early April (please see attached receipt that shows the units were serviced by King Air on March 29, 2018). Jeff told me he could fix all those problems and do the air duct cleaning for approximately $1500.00. I told him I don't have that sum of money, and asked him to go ahead and clean the air vents. He said to me that the drain lines are clogged and must be flushed (or blown out) or it could flood my home, and that if I agree to do that work, he would add two pounds of Freon to help with the slow leak. He agreed to do that work for $300.00 (please see attached receipt from Elite). Jeff said the work was done and he left.
That same day (June 8th) I called King Air to express my frustration with my paying them to service my AC Units only to have another company tell me the drain lines are clogged. King Air said they did not notice the clogged lines in March, but they agreed to send out someone to look at the units.

On Thursday, June 14th, approximately X:XX-X:XX PM, the technician from King Air came to my home, after the pleasantries, I took him and showed him the attic where the units are located. Within a minute or two, he comes down from the attic and into the kitchen area to ask me to come into the attic to see the leak. He retrieves a bucket from his vehicle and uses it to collect the water (Please see attached pictures of the leak). He told me it is going to cost me $155.00 to stop the leak; I asked him to do so immediately and to check the units to determine if it needs Freon (I wanted to confirm that Elite had in fact put Freon, which they had). I paid an additional $29.95 for that diagnostic test (please see attached recipe form King Air to repair leak and perform diagnostic test). I then left a fan on the area of the water, in an attempt to dry it.

The next day, Friday, June 15th, sometime between 6-7PM, my family and I were in the living room and in the kitchen (these two areas are adjacent to each other) chatting and preparing dinner, when my daughter-in-law notices the water spots on the ceiling in the living room (I live in a one and a half story home, with the game room being the half room upstairs). Soon there after, the lights in the kitchen go out. I immediately took pictures of the damaged ceiling and sent them via texts to Jeff Pierce (I saved his number in my phone from the June 8th appointment) (also, please see attached pictures and text communication with Jeff).

On Monday, June 18th (before 9AM) two employees (Bryce and Steven/Stephen) from Elite came to survey the damage. I assisted them in removing the attic flooring, where we discovered the insulation was still wet. They called *** and asked him what to do and he told them to remove the insulation. They did, and then they sprayed some aerosol mold rdant primer on the damaged ceiling. I asked them to check the lights also in the kitchen. They said they would return tomorrow with insulation and some new kitchen bulbs.

On June 19th, the same two employees arrived at my home with the wrong insulation (they wanted to install R-15 insulation in my attic). After I told them I was not going to allow them to do that and that they need to install at least R-30 rating insulation, they left and went to Home Depot to buy insulation and florescent lights for the kitchen. After installing the insulation (R-30) in the attic, they changed the bulbs in the kitchen and when the lights did not work, Steven said it does not look like the light was damaged by water because he is unable to see signs of water damage. He said he would check with Jeff and would ask him to call me later about the lights and painting the water-damaged spot on the ceiling. They left my home before 10AM. After not hearing from Jeff, I sent him a text at 12:09 asking will I hear from them about the damages (please see attached text). Finally, at 3:49, June 19th, Jeff called to say I would have to deal with ***, but that they will not fix the kitchen lights since Steven said he saw no signs of water. I asked Jeff what signs of water leak would he expect to find on a painted metal after 4-5 days? He said I would have to deal with ***.

As you can see from the attached emails between myself and Mr., he has steadfastly maintained that he is not going to repair the kitchen lights and that he is willing to paint the damaged area of the ceiling, if I can find and buy the paint. I have told him several times of the costs estimates I have received for painting. I have also told him that I have researched painting water damaged ceiling and I have learned that the entire ceiling has to be painted not just the damaged area, as doing so will make the area noticeable. He has said he's only willing to paint the damaged area, if I buy the paint (which he said he'll reimburse me for).

He has offered to reimburse me the $300.00 on the condition that I withdraw the complaint with the Revdex.com and grant him a full release. After chatting with my wife and given the amounts of money we have spent to replace and install the light fixture in the kitchen, my wife and I decided to reject his offer, but instead I told him we can resolve this matter for the following sum: (1) Replacement of the light fixture $69.95 (the ballast cost $45.00) so we decided to replace with LED instead of fluorescent lights; (2) Paid $75.00 to NTX Electric to replace the light fixture; (3) Paid King Air $155.00 to stop the leak; and I have quotes to paint the ceiling ranging from $250.00 to $350.00, plus the paint. I have told Mr. I have received cheaper quotes ($150-$250) to spot paint the damaged area of the ceiling, but that the entire ceiling needs to be painted. I told Mr. I am willing to settle this matter for $549.95.

Finally, please look at the receipt from Elite for the work done on June 8th; look at the texts between Jeff and myself after I notified him of the leak; and look at the emails between *** and Me, and you will find at no time was there any mention or a suggestion of any existing leak to my home or water damage as the reason I engaged Elite on June 8th, 2018. The truth of the matter is Mr. appears to struggle with the truth.

These *** are con artists. Get a foot in your door, start taking AC apart then lie and force you to buy equipment you didn't need until they showed up. Couldn't get them out of the house. Sm! They should have been taken out of business by now. Conmen

Poor installation of equipment with blatent disregard for follow up on red tag issued by City of Garland Inspector.
Initial Service Date: 10/27/2017 Job# JXXXXX
Invoiced Amount $6250
Paid Upfront: $1200 (Personal Check drawn on my personal acct with JPM Chase)
Financed Amount: $5000 on 11/06 (Service Contractors Account#: XXXXXXX @ 16.99%)

Services delivered with obvious disregard for industry standards included:
-Failed to properly seal duct work to Plenum
-Evaporator Coil installed is already coming loose
-Evaporator Coil box not sealed all the way around
-filter base shows obvious sign of water is leaking Lennox evaporating coil
-Appears to have air is leaking from cap on flue pipe for furnace
-No float switch installed as required by IMC (red tagged by City of Garland Inspector)
-No follow up from CoG inspection to make noted corrections Permit MXX-XXXX
-Request to replace vent covers ignored and team onsite washed the other covers and reinstalled them.
- Services rendered required that they drain the coolant from the AC unit and replace it when done.
- 2 days following the installation by Elite, the AC was not cooling. When I requested to have them come back out to resolve the issue, they sent someone out to immediately determined that the issue was a failed compressor that would be another out of pocket expense for me.
-I advised that since my unit was working prior to Elite touching it, I thought they were responsible for making the necessary repairs.
-Once it was determined that I had a AHS home warranty, Tony (owner) advised me to see what they could to to make the needed repairs.
-After another vendor was dispatched, and the cost of the repairs were known, I was advised that the best they could do, we be do it 'at cost' for Elite (appox $1300).
- Was then told to see what AHS would pay to cash out and Elite would work with me.
- When the additional information was provided I was told that it would be in my best interest to go with the $800 (including service call) out of pocket expense because he could not offer anything better.
-Elite was not even willing to split the difference in the cost with me...which was and still an unacceptable.
-I have not be aware of any other recourse and I am submitting this complaint for and requesting for assistance with resolution.
- In addition to speaking with directly with Tony to express concerns, and faxing over the document provided by the City of Garland inspector, there were no subsequent follow up efforts to resolve the issues.

Desired Outcome

Every effort was made to work with Elite Clean & Restoration to resolve this issue. With the warm Texas climate fast approaching, I have recently made the repairs to the AC unit by replacing the required equipment. However, it is unacceptable that after paying premium prices for sub-par services, I am requesting a full refund as well as reimbursement for the AC unit repairs caused by the inexperience, and/or inconsideration of the Elite C&R Technical team dispatched to do the changes. Note: The favorable review that I gave prior to the team leaving my house was prior to discovery that that AC unit was not working (2 days later)and the other faulty work (including the red tag) issued by the City of Garland the following week.

Never use this company. They came to my house to clean my ducts with a coupon I had from Valpak. The coupon said $64.95 but they charged me $550. They then said they wouldn't leave until I paid in full. I objected and said that when I made the appointment over the phone I said I had a coupon. The men who did the cleaning said that I could speak to their boss, the owner Tony. They called him for me and he said that the coupon was only valid for 10 vents and that they had cleaned 14 vents and the dryer vent (which I had never asked to be cleaned). I told him that the mark up on the 4 vents and the dryer vent was very high. He told me that I had better pay up or he would personally come over to collect the money. I am elderly and I didn't want any trouble so I paid with my credit card which I am still trying to pay off. I had a very bad experience with this company and I would recommend people to stay away.

ZERO Star

DO NOT USE THEM, they just want to scam you.

Called on Monday XX-XX-XX for AC duct cleaning, I have 10 vents and 1 return. The coupon says $65 for that. I was set up for guys to come out yesterday between 4pm - 7pm for an assessment. Wednesday XX- XX-XX a guy called me and confirmed my appointment for Thursday 03-15-18. Said I need to make sure my landlord is present (I am the tenant of the rental home just moved in Plano Tx so I wanted to have it cleaned out before summer arrives) He said landlord needs to be there in order for them to do the assessment. My wise landlord warned me that usually means that they just want him there to sell him something and usually have an agenda not just simply to clean the duct vents as offered... The landlord was CORRECT! I mentioned to the gentleman on the phone that my landlord will be present but he does not want to buy anything extra and that me as the tenant want to pay for cleaning the air ducts that's all.
The day of the assessment Thursday XX-XX-XX no one came or called to let us know that they wouldn't be coming probably because they knew we would buy anything else but the cleaning!!! UNPROFESSIONAL. UNRELIABLE. SCAM. They just want to get your money for things you don't need obviously. DO NOT USE THIS BUSINESS. Stay away find someone else a business that really do care about their prospecting customers.

Elite Clean & Restoration Response • Mar 16, 2018

The company was set to go out there between four and seven, we call the customer at Fort clock to confirm the appointment, the customer never answer the phone and we never received a phone Call from the customer yesterday for confirmation, we do not send technicians to the job site without confirmation, and we are very apologetic, we would like to do business with this customer, if the customer wants to continue to do business with us we will often have a 20% discount for the inconvenience, thank you very much

Customer Response • Mar 19, 2018

I had been called the day BEFORE the assessment day. I spoke to a gentleman who I confirmed the next day I even mentioned that I needed 1 hour in advance notice in order to let my landlord know when to show up and this is when I mentioned my landlord not wanting to buy anything extra aside from the $65 duct cleaning. The day of NO ONE called OR left any voicemail to let us know they wouldn't show up. Not only I got stood up, I waste my time and my landlord to wait all evening but this business *** rep insult me by saying he did call and I didn't answer.....I spoke to someone and confirmed the day before when they called all was set. No one came. Period.

SALESMEN SHOWED TO LOOK AT DIRTY VENTS. THEY DIAGNOSED THEM AS MOLD AND BACTERIA-A HEALTH HAZARD & CHARGED US $2000.00 TO MAKE THE HOUSE SAFE AGAIN.
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

Desired Outcome

THEY NEED TO REFUND THE MONEY SO REAL SERVICES CAN BE PURCHASED. THEY NEED TO DISCONNECT THE AIR PURIFIER AND REPAIR OUR HEATING AND AIR UNIT. THEY NEED TO TAKE THEIR RGF QUAD-DM AIR PURIFIER BACK. NO MONEY SHOULD BE CHARGED FOR THIS FARCE, AND THEY SHOULD BE REMOVED FROM VAL-PACK ADVERTISING. MAYBE THEIR OTHER SERVICES ARE LEGITIMATE-BUT THEIR DUCT CLEANING OPERATION IS FAKE AND SHOULD BE ILLEGAL-FRAUD? WE WILL ALSO DISPUTE THE CHARGE ON THE CREDIT CARD. THE WORK WAS DONE ON MARCH 2, THEY HAVE BEEN CALLED ON MARCH 3 TO MAKE IT RIGHT. WE WILL SEE IF THEY SHOW TO REPAIR THE A/C UNIT AND FURNACE.

But our surprise every lead tech Stevan Wright went to your home after the difficulties, And did everything you asked us to do we sanitize kilts, and even cleaned your ducts. We made sure the breathing air was good before we left went through your home and made sure to roto brush everything. Before we left you said you were satisfied customer and was going to take down the bad reviews because of the first technician not being satisfactory

(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)
The original sales guy came to the house and told us he would check the work of the original guy that came to the house. he said he expected to be paid for the time to look at the vents the first guy was supposed to clean, paint, seal and sanitize. We told him to get out of our home. Our credit card dispute counselor insisted we let these people back into our home to try to make it right-or we were automatically in the wrong. two guys came back. Some of the vents had been painted with some kills-a $3. spray paint from Home Depot. Some had not. Vents appeared to get cleaned by a ratty shop vac held up to the ceiling. It took less tan an hour of no skilled labor. These guys were at least not unpleasant, argumentative, or rude. The job was still not as protrayed-a sanitizing life saving all out effort. It was a short scam get on a ladder job. I still agreed to pay the original $750.00. At that, it was overpriced. I did, and still deny the additional $1,250.00 they charged my 86 year old father. Highway robbery would be putting it mildly. These people need to stop this scam. They made $750.00, and all possible customers should be warned. Do not let them into your home-do not let them bully you into useless work, and do not let them disable your a/c units. Saying I was so satisfied I wanted to pay them $2000 is ridiculous. I wanted them to leave us in peace, and I wished I never saw the ad in Valpak-who should also should be ashamed for inflicting these people on families. You can bet I don't even open the Valpak mailings anymore. They promote frauds and scammers.

NO. THE PRICE WAS STILL RIDICULOUS FOR THE JOB PERFORMED. THE EPA RELATED STATEMENTS WERE STILL BOGUS, THE LIES WERE STILL TOLD ABOUT COST OF AIR TEST. THE JOB PERFORMED BY THE 3RD GUY WE HAD TO LET IN OUR HOME WAS STILL MINIMAL-BUT HE WAS AT LEAST POLITE. I SAID WHAT IT TOOK TO GET RID OF THEM AS QUICKLY AS POSSIBLE, AND THEN I DISPUTED PART OF THE CHARGES THEY PUT ON MY FATHER'S CREDIT CARD FOR THE INCONVENIENCE AND BULLYING THEY REPRESENTED WITH THEIR CONTINUED HARD SELLING TECHNIQUES. THAT "AIR CLEANER FOR $500 DOES NOTHING, AND ALREADY QUIT EVEN WORKING. STILL A SCAM

saw companys ad in ADPages set up appointment to have my heater checked because the fan was not turning ( the only problem fan no turning)..Jeff and another salesman came on 02/07/18 and looked at my unit and said it needed to be replaced because Carrier no longer made that type of unit (17 yrs old)..ok here we go they informed me of the two brands they sell Lennox and (cant recall the 2nd brand) now the sales pitch began they quoted me Lennox unit, thermostat, base pan, ducts cleaned, 10 warranty from Lennox and a extra 5 year warrenty from Elite total warranty 15 years for $7500.00. My husband looked up pricing and told Jeff he could only pay $4000.00, Jeff and the other salesman replied they needed to speak with the owner Tony well after about 5 min they came back with a yes to the $4000.00 (per other salesman they really wanted to help me) lets go back a second at the original quote Jeff said that everything could be done the same day now back to where we left off...after excepting the price cut to $4000.00 Jeff asked us to pay upfront well my husband said no he told Jeff that he didn't know him or the owner of this company to pay up front before services were completed Jeff was talking to my husband on the phone he was at work and I was at the house. after speaking with my husband Jeff turns and ask me can I pay half in cash upfront and only do $2000 in a cashiers check. I spoke with my husband who told me that would be ok but dont give them anything until the job is completed. Now Jeff tells me that they can only take out the old unit today and would install the new one the next day I called my husband to spk with Jeff ..shortly after this conversation Jeff informs me that the installation crew were on their way, the crew arrive (two guys Alberto and ????)..they began to take out the old unit which my husband told Jeff to leave the old unit we would take care of it. Jeff came back along with other salesman from earlier with two more guys and they started cleaning the ducts Jeff then stops Alberto from installing the gas furnance and informs me that he will need $600 for the base filter pan (the pan was already being installed by Alberto before he was stopped by Jeff) I called my husband and let him spk with Jeff regarding this new charge. Jeff and my husband agreed on $200 ( hidden charges) Jeff then gave Alberto the go ahead to finish the installment. I paid Jeff $2200 cash and $2000 cashiers check. Jeff, salesman, and duct cleaning crew where done and left Alberto informed me that he would be finished in 30 mins and he was...Heat was working,They did not install a new thermostat like promised in the quote. My old system was being donated to a family in east texas that have no central air/heat but to my surprise when my husband examed the unit the motor was gone (surprise)..well my husband called Jeff about the missing motor and was told he trust his techs and they didn't take it (maybe Jeff took it). my husband called the owner Tony about the missing motor and he stated if someone stole something from you call the police my husband replied we will contact Revdex.com...well later that night Tony started texting and calling my husband offering to replace the motor with his used inventory from his warehouse Tony also stated the motors are only ten dollars...my husband told him we wanted our motor because we know ours was a working motor..our old unit was in our home and noone else could have removed the motor ..There was a total of two - six individuals in my home during the begging to the end of the full process..This has being a horrible experience I wish I would have went with my first mind and that was not to use that company I let Jeff convene me that the negative reviews came from an ex employee..Well now Im sending this review to let everyone know Please believe the reviews this company should be closed down...and a small note to Jeff and Tony- God knows all and you will face him one day..

Elite Clean & Restoration Response • Feb 16, 2018

I'm sorry for your bad experience! Elite has offered to replace the motor and to take care of the situation. But when we did your husband then continued to call and cuss at us call us white trash all of which we have the messages to prove. Even after we explained that we will replace it. Our technicians do not need a fan we have plenty in shop for them to have. As you even stated we lowered the price to fit your budget, why would we take a $10.00 part off of a used system. We have been trying to resolve the problem with your husband who continues to cuss and still yet call us white trash. We will replace the part we even told your husband we have a use system here that he could have anything off of it free. But yet he continued to do the same thing. We have been nothing but cooperative with you and your husband before and after the situation. Elite has a guarantee that we always follow. We are trying to fix any issues that you are having. You may call us

This statement from Elite is only retaliation if my husband cussed its because Jeff or Tony cussed at him first... I knew this would be the outcome of this situation this company did not think that we would notice the motor missing but we did and when we called and asked why, they were very uncooperative until it was said that we would just write a review and let others know our experience. Looks like you guys should have offered to give back the $10.00 motor in the beginning. From all of this I PRAY that at least one other consumer reads my review and not use your services. I wish I would have went with my first instinct after reading the reviews. And one more thing you stated that the price was lowered on the purchased unit to fit our budget I believe your salesmen stated the price was lowered to get our business end quote.
As of today this situation is resolved we are choosing not to except anything from this company
Thank you Revdex.com for all your help
