Technicians showed up without calling me and did not perform service according to my request or the advertisement. Also, treats from the owner.
My experience with your company was awful! I contacted this company after seeing a deal ($199/ normally $499 for 400 sq feet of R13 insulation). I contacted Elite on January 17, 2018 to have the insulation installed for my attic at a rental property. I called to schedule insulation and made it clear that I wanted the insulation installed on the same day, I was told that would be possible. The Elite rep (Tanner) showed up Tuesday morning as scheduled , I showed him the two areas in the attic (rooms) where I wanted the insulation placed, and then he informed me he was not aware of my request for insulation on the same day and that the insulation would have to be scheduled on a different day. He stated he had to access the type of installation and amount first. I called the main office and spoke with a manager, who stated it was too cold for his guys to stand outside was the reason. I scheduled to have insulation completed on morning of Friday, I signed a note pad noting I was requesting the insulation. I gave my email address as the representative stated I would be emailed a copy of what I signed, I have not received anything as of today. The rep left, and I stated I would be back to meet for the insulation as I had given specific instructions of where I wanted the insulation placed in the attic. I called back the next day and spoke with a lady (S)who answers the phone to inform her that I needed to change the time to a little later, I rescheduled time for between 11 am - 4 pm for Friday to ensure I would be there as my tenant would be at work, I received a call from a man on Thursday to confirm the installation for Friday morning, I called back and confirmed my time of 11 am - 4pm with (S) and asked some questions about the company ensuring I would get enough sprayed to meet the R13 standard, I was assured it would be done correctly to meet standard. Now, Friday morning, I am working and I receive a phone call at 9:20 am from my tenant who informs me that the guys are at the house requesting payment for the insulation that has already been completed. Well, needless to say, I was a bit upset as I was not there to meet the guys to ensure insulation was put in correct spaces. I spoke with one of the technicians and informed him that I had not been notified of the time change or that they were in route to the house. The technician informed me that the job was completed and that he was not aware that I was supposed to be contacted. He also stated that (Tanner) had provided details on where to put the installation, fill up holes is what he said. I informed him that I would not accept the work. My tenant got back on the phone and told me she had to leave to go to work and that the technicians wanted to suck the insulation back out from the attic. I told her to ask the technicians to leave and lock up the house. I told her to tell them that I would be there to meet with them in an hour, I work form home so I had to get dressed and drive thirty minutes to the rental house. I called the main number and (S) answered the phone, I began to tell her what was happening, as I was talking to her, next thing a man was on the phone, so I continued to tell him what happened, I stated that I would not accept the work and he said I had to accept it as my tenant allowed the technicians inside the attic. I informed him that I was the landlord and owner of the home, I needed to be there to approve the work as I had not given her permission to do so, I told him he was talking crazy, he said something to the fact that I had to accept the work, I hung the phone up as my head was spinning. I continued to get dressed and drove over to the house, no one was there when I arrived. I proceeded to go up into the attic to find that the insulation was just sprayed in one area and it looked like a little mountain, low on the sides and high in the middle. Of course the area covered was not 400 sq feet as the area above the other room was not

Desired Outcome

I do not desire to have any further service from this business. I am willing to pay for the small amount of insulation that was blown into my attic last week. I think maybe $75 dollars would cover what was done. I would like a receipt for payment in full and no further contact.

Elite Clean & Restoration Response • Jan 24, 2018

On the date of 1/17/18 we sent out our Elite rep Tanner who spoke with Mrs. and her tenant who agreed upon a price of $199 for insulation. They agreed upon a time for our technicians to arrive, on the date of 01/19/18. The technicians made the call to Mrs. and received no answer at the time the tenant was home who was there when Tanner arrived and knew where the insulation was supposed to be blown in at so our technicians, who were let in by said tenant and were able to begin work, and properly blew in insulation, in the places where the tenant and Tanner both showed them where to blow in. from pictures Tanner provided the technicians, and the tenant pointing out. as of that time when payment was due Mrs. then refused to pay became hostel on the phone cursing at me along with our technicians and threatening them, at that time our technicians called the Duncanville police to come resolve the situation, and a police report was filed and the tenant and Mrs. both disappeared and would not answer the phone the the police called them. as of this date on 1/24/18 no payment has been made. and when we reached out to her she yet again became hostile to the office staff. we sent out a certified letter including bill but no response has been given. the bill has grown do to paperwork having to be filed along with certified mail having to be sent. We have no problem sending out a quality control manager to verify work of technicians. as long as we are paid for the services rendered

Customer Response • Jan 25, 2018

(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)
I do not accept the response as it is not true, it is full of lies. First of all I was not called prior to technicians arrival at 8:30 am.
Second, my appointment was scheduled between 11 am - 4 pm. Third, the tenant had no contact with Tanner, the tenant did not know where the insulation was suppose to be place, the tenant has never been in the attic, the tenant was not responsible for paying anything. Fourth, Tanner did not take any pictures when he met with me, he was more concerned about looking in my AC unit, I had to tell him to move away from it as he was attempting to remove he screws, Fifth, the tenant did not have permission to tell the guys to begin work, Sixth, I did not refuse to pay, I informed the technicians over the phone that I was the landlord and I could not accept the work until I could see what was placed in the attic, I told them that they did not call me to meet them on sitem therefore, I could not pay them, I was not there, the appointment was scheduled for between 11 am -
4 pm, the tenant would be at work during that time, so there was no need to leave a payment with the tenant. Seven, no threats were made to the technicians over the phone by me or as far as I know no threats were made by the tenant. The tenant had to be at work, so she had to leave the house. I told her to ask the technicians to leave and to lock the house.
I informed the technicians, via asking the tenant to tell them that I would be over to meet them and see the work in about an hour, it was about 8:30 am at that time. When I arrived at the house, no one was there, I remained for about an hour, I went in and into the attic, took pictures of what was done, no one showed up. On Saturday morning, I received a call from ***, stating a report was filed with the police and that I was going to jail for nonpayment, I have the recording of his message. I have not received an invoice from the company as of today.
Eight, I have not received any letters from Elite Clean, I have not received an invoice from Elite clean. I do not live at the house, so if a letter was sent I am unaware of it. Ten, I contacted Duncanville police department regarding the matter several days later, I was informed that they were called and according to the report, the technicians were informed that the matter was a civil matter and should be worked out between the customer. I was not at the house to meet the technicians and I did not receive any phone calls from the technicians. I have only talked with *** the owner and he has always need unreasonable. I have scheduled to meet with an Elite representative today, Jan. 25th so an inspection of the work can be done and agreement on a payment can be made. I will not allow Elite to set foot on the property to do any more work, but I will agree to pay for the small amount of insulation that was installed. The amount install is not 400 sq feet, it is not 2 to three inches all around, and it was not placed in the areas that was requested when I met with Tanner. In my opinion, the owner is dishonest and has no ethics. I have been treated with much disrespect when I call, he is rude and interrupted me as I spoke. I have prayed that God will step in and take control of this matter, I am praying for justice and for the owner to reap what he is sowing to all of the customers who have had to deal with his extreme lack of ethics. In my opinion this business should be shut down, there are so many bad reports.

Elite came to my home to clean my ducts did and amazing job with it.. will defiantly use them again.

Elite Clean & Restoration Response

Thank you very much, we do appreciate your business, if you ever need us again please call us in the future, you were such a great customer, thank you again

This is the absolute worst company I've ever allowed into my home. They made promises, took my money, sent untrained kids, did untrained work, and NEVER CORRECTED IT. Their business practices are criminal at best. They really DO NOT KNOW what they are doing and A #1 Air visited my home confirmed it for me. Elite Clean did as little as possible, and only take care of what you can see. The HVAC vent/ Mold removal I had them do, was WORTHLESS! They did things like paint over it Mold or Dirt with KILZ paint to "SOLVE" the problem. They had to return 2 more times because I would find areas the UNtrained KIDS did NOTHING. I finally had it and said I want MONEY RETURNED so I could pay a Professional company to do the job correctly. The Owner DID NOT return even a partial refund even though I was within 1 Year warranty which the contract states. After arguing back and forth with the owner, I realized was dealing with a person that WAS NOT HONEST. At that point there is no more to discuss. I contacted Revdex.com.

I received an a/c check up from the company. The electronic invoice I received did not outline diagnosis of a/c unit.
All I want is an written diagnosis of a/c check. The manager *** wants to charge me $250 for the tech to simply state his findings. This is absolutely unethical and will not be tolerated. I paid you for the check up and written documentation is standard of any business practice.

Desired Outcome

Give me the written analysis of my a/c check up which will not take more than three minutes for someone who is an effecient typer.

Elite Clean & Restoration Response

Our technician, Oscar, went to the customer's home and completed a Summer AC Checkup. At the time of service, we went over our findings with the customer. Several days later, Mr. called to request a complete, full-detailed report for his home warranty company. We told him that, as stated at the time of service, that it is during the time of service, when we go to his home, that we show our findings and go over everything with him. This was not satisfactory to the customer. As stated on the coupon, we only do inspections and do not provide written reports for insurance or home warranty purposes. As an attempt to find resolve, we informed Mr. that we could come back to the residence to conduct a written report as requested complete with itemized details including pictures, however, this would require additional payment due to the time required to do the job.

Customer Response

(The consumer indicated he/she ACCEPTED the response from the business.)
*** definitely atoned for the sins of management. I received the short and sweet analysis as requested.
