Be warned This company is not worth the call. They sent untrained and inadequate employees that did not care about my belongings(I fear the worst). To add to the frustrations my items were late and they did not do anything to try to expedite or help me. I suggest anyone else or just using a ***. It is sad how they treated me as a customer

I spoke with Karmen ***, a relocation specialist from Elite Moving and she was courteousMy problem with her is that when I explained to her that I was comparison shopping, she immediately started to bash other companies; even asking me what companies I was comparing and proceeded to speak very negatively about itOnce I (regrettably) agreed to go with Elite for my move, I was asked for a $deposit that was to be applied to my total moveWe finally ended the call with Karmen's promise to call to confirm the estimated arrival time of the moversThat call never came, I then phoned Elite and was told by Roy that they were just making those confirmation calls when I called and that Karmen wasn't thereHe confirmed my move timeWhen the three movers came, all but one of them were rude and unprofessionalOne of them even smoked some type of foul smelling cigar in my non-smoking apartment courtyard, prompting my manager to phone me with concernsAfter the movers did an estimate, they decided that the cost would be an additional $I was not pleased with the additional fees so I phoned EliteI again was told by Roy that Karmen wasn't thereRoy spoke in a very disrespectful and condescending tone, raised his voice and spoke over me as I tried to speakHe too, told me that other companies were going to charge me more than they did and warned me to "Be prepared to pay higher fees and hidden costs"Roy was the rudest customer service agent I have spoken to in my 40+ years as a consumerOne of the movers even tried to move a rather costly amplifier without removing the wheel locks, nearly damaging my hardwood floor and tipping the amp over The other mover also fiddled with the amplifier control knobsI cancelled my scheduled move (losing the $deposit)My complaint is that the moving specialists were not forthright about impending fees, lacked professionalism and I didn't feel comfortable with the moving crew's lack of judgement, customer service or professionalism

*** ***Why would it be based on coverage level and time Like I said I was a 5th mover If I didn't move items with them they would have never finished faster Plus I previously moved ALL the boxes myself before the moveI had just about the same amount from my other move but they had to move all the boxes as well So they should have finished quicker than what they did due to the fact that there were no boxes to be moved The coverage level has absolutely no relevance to this move whatsoever I understand that you are trying to cover yourself the best you can by focusing on the good points, but in actually due to what I said previously there are absolutely no good points

I have heard from the dispatch of the company, and they have supposedly found my boxes, but now this response makes me concerned that you have notThey were supposedly getting picked up from somewhere, but I don't know how they were lost, where they are, or when they are supposedly getting deliveredAdditionally, the fact that your pick up drivers take the time to label every box with a number, and write it on a list, is makes it very disconcerting that someone in the company could not count, and lost the boxesAdditionally,I do not appreciate the company blaming this on me,saying I did not report the missing boxes upon delivery, given the rush the delivery driver was in after unloading my boxesHe did not give me time to count my boxes as he was running out very quicklyI specifically expressed concerned about broken or missing items, and he told me that the company policy was that I had days to file a missing or broken complaint with EliteI am still awating my arrival of the boxes, but will believe that they are coming when I see it and can update my claim once it has been resolved, but I certainly do not appreciate Elite not taking responsibility for this gross oversight

client called our office and stated she doesn't want her items to be deliveredat the time of conversation it was already too late as the trailer already left to FL from our storage and we had no option to stop it
This shipment now in *** as per client's original contract with our companyWe are trying to help and return the shipment back to IL as the client asking to change her destination from the original signed contract
Once we will get the items back to IL and once client knows where she will need it to be delivered we will be able to give more information on what else can be done
Our company had an obligation to pickup this shipment in IL and deliver to ** - we have done it - but the client refusing to accept it
We will see how we can help this client once the items will be delivered back to IL and once she will decide on her final destination
$was charged because we still had to unload her items in *** At this point we also will need to load the items back to the trailer and deliver back to IL

We did moves for this client in the pastthe 1st move took us hours to move and the 2nd move, the one that in question here was done within hours - that is min faster than the 1st oneClient
refused packing and wrapping of all of her items in order to save the money and time and the movers, knowing that this is not the way we prefer to operate had the client to sign a waiver for any damage as she is the one that refused the packing of the items.Since then we spoke few times with the client and emailed and mailed her the claim form as she mentioned that she has no time or money to print the claim form from the emailWe are waiting for the client to file the claim and once it will be done we will be responding to the claim according to the agreement she signed with usWe are sorry this move was stressful but in regards of moving slower, the movers actually finished the move min faster than the 1st move and they I the client to wrap her items to avoid damage but she refusedWe are here for the client and still waiting for her to file the claim Tell us why here

Elite Moving did finally send a $payment
However, it would have been nice if they had sent the original $estimate as I had to go through so much to resolve this issue

I went with Elite Moving because of their ratingI know moving is no easy task and there will always be problems but some actions were this is all unnacceptableMy watches were stolen and when I called about it they didn't do anythingThey told me I would find most likely find it at some pointSome of the movers were rude and others clearly didn't adhere to dress codeNone of these issues were addressedMy furniture was damanged and so was my motorcycleEvery time I call I get nothing but machinesNo progressIt's been months and they only need to respondThievesI would say try your luck somewhere elseDon't let the reputation you see fool youThe inital agent helping me was very helpful and sweet but then it was all downhill

Great service, arrived on time Did not waste time - worked well together
Was extremely careful and capable in preparing the Television and larger glass items to arrive safely at new location
I had never used Elite before but would use them again If you compare prices they are the same if not lower than the few I checked out
