Review: I have been trying to delete all of my personal information from the Employment 911 website, but I can't get in contact with anyone.

My full address and phone number are on the site, and I would like the information removed IMMEDIATELY, as this is a violation of my privacy.

I went to their Privacy Policy page, [redacted]

On the page, there is the below statement regarding removal of personal info:

"Modifying or deleting your Personal Information: You may contact us to modify or delete your Personal Information from our database at any time by calling ###-###-####, sending us an email to [email protected] or sending us a letter to Employment911, [redacted] PA [redacted]."

When I try to call the phone number, it is disconnected. When I tried to contact the email address, my email was returned as non-deliverable.

This is completely unacceptable!Desired Settlement: REMOVE MY FULL RESUME PROFILE IMMEDIATELY!

Response:

We received the following message via email on 5/9/14 from client

Hello,

Please delete my resume post from your site.

Please let me know what details you need to get this done.

My full address AND phone number are on that post and it needs to be removed.

Thanks.

We looked into her concerns right away. Our system shows that she added her resume to our website in 2009. As soon as we located her information, it was removed from our website per her request.

As for the complaint about not being able to reach us by phone, this was an oversight on our part. We are in the process of updating our phone lines and the number on our privacy page had not been updated. We apologize for the confusion and will get this changed immediately.

Please let us know if you have any other concerns or questions.

Thank you

Review: We are a small nonprofit clinic that posted a job listing with our local newspaper. We mistakenly paid an "invoice" that we thought was for the job listing in our local paper. We believe that Employment Publishing found our ad through a search and sent us an offer in the form of an invoice. I have tried to contact them through their website, email, and phone call in an effort to have our $$ returned but haven't been able to get a response.Desired Settlement: We would like a full refund of the $790.40 That we sent to them on October 28th. We would also like our job posting removed from their website.

Re: Complaint ID [redacted] ([redacted])

Dear [redacted]:

I am responding to the complaint from [redacted].

We have extensively reviewed the law and policies about the type of advertising that we do. While we feel we are operating ethically, and in full compliance with the law we appreciate the comments from [redacted] and will take note of them.

Please note that our solicitations prominently bears on their face the required disclaimer in bright green 32 point bold type, stating the form is not a bill, but a solicitation. In addition, the form contains many other details on the front and back of the solicitation on exactly what our offer is. Such as “An independent classified service”.

Employment Publishing takes every precaution to insure customer satisfaction it is not necessary to file a complaint to receive a refund. We actually offer a full refund if the client is not 100% satisfied with the published advertisement. [redacted] will be receiving a refund check for $790.40 around the 10th of this month.

We try to make it as easy as possible for customers to reach us whether it is by voicemail, fax, or phone call. We researched the issue of our company not responding to the customer’s calls on 11/12 and 11/21, but cannot come up with a resolution. To improve our customer service if the customer would be as kind as to let us know by what means and number they contacted us, so we can further research this issue..

The advertisement [redacted] has been expired from [redacted].

We regret [redacted] is unhappy with the mailings we send and will be more than happy to remove her company from future mailings. We will remove [redacted] at [redacted], Montana [redacted] from our mailings. Please note it can take up to 15-20 days for this to be effective.

If you have any further questions, don’t hesitate to contact me.

Sincerely,

Jake F[redacted]

Review: We placed a CNA help wanted ad in the [redacted] 10-5-14. That CNA position was filled immediately from the ad. A few days later we receive what looks like a bill referencing the location we were hiring for, the position we were hiring for, and the date our ad was in the [redacted]. Quite coincidentally, the amount showing on what appeared to be an invoice was just $2.00 off what the [redacted] had quoted us for their ad. Thinking the [redacted] was using a new billing service for employment ads our accounts payable office mailed Employment Publishing a check for $349.00 in error. That check was intended for the [redacted] and I would like to get a refund.Desired Settlement: Check refunded in the amount of $349.00

In addition, the form contains many other details on the front and back of the solicitation on exactly what our offer is. Such as “A classified employment service independent of your local newspaper”.

Employment Publishing takes every precaution to insure customer satisfaction.

We try to make it as easy as possible to be removed from our mailings by leaving a voice mail, by fax, or requesting it by mail. We did do some research to see if [redacted] left a voice mail that was not returned but found none. Actually [redacted] sent a fax requesting to be removed from our mailings. As soon as we received the request the company was put on our DO NOT MAIL LIST effective 2/27/14. This is the address requested: [redacted]. If there are any other locations that need to be removed please let us know.

It does take 10-15 days for the mailings to stop since we can't stop the mailings that are already in process of going out.

If you have any further questions, don’t hesitate to contact us.

Sincerely,

President

Review: This company sends and "advertisement" disguised as an invoice, shortly after you have placed a help wanted ad in the local newspaper. It is deceitful practice.Desired Settlement: Please quit sending these fake invoices to our company

Review: Our office manager put an employment ad in our local news paper. An invoice came in from Employment Publishing for $632.00 and I paid it thinking it was for the ad I had her run. The description said "classified employment advertising for pt time admin assistant" which is what our position was for. Now we are getting statements from our local paper. Those invoices also do not come in the name of the paper so I would have never known. The fact that these invoices are made to look like bills are deceiving. Your company sends them out right after a company runs an ad.Desired Settlement: I would like a full refund. I did not contact you to run an ad for my company. Now I am out over $1,000 for an ad for a part time assistant.
