Complaint: I am rejecting this response; for the following reasons: I did not receive an email or voicemail Any attempt to contact me by phone on a day when my voicemail box was full; was not an excuse to use a different form of communication to reach out to meThe fee to prepare documents on my behalf totaled $ I spoke to the payment department and was told my balance was I paid attorney connection over $ I can provide my credit card statements as proof of payment I would like the documents to be completed for payment that was renderedI left them another message just recently and did not receive a call back regarding the matter Regards, [redacted] ***n

Everything was disclosed to this customer See the terms of service to which he agreed (see attachment) The representations in this complaint are not accurateTo make this complaint worse, the same day of this complaint, the customer first notified us regarding wanting to cancel and did not submit the required request for refund form, as set forth in the agreed upon terms In addition, the customer did receive value, including access to our family law eBook and other valuable resources Finally, customer agreed to our no refund policy, clearly stated more than once in the AGREED UPON terms of service

Complaint: I am rejecting this response because: We can go back and forward on who is right and wrong at the end you will not refund any of my money because you feel you are rightThat's okay you keep the $you ripped me off forBuy your poor kids something for Christmas on meMy son does not need a follow up call from you eitherI hope you sleep well at night knowing you are ripping people off with your lies Regards, H [redacted]

Agree to disagree The last time we spoke with this customer, she said her primary complaint was that she thought J***e would be handling the customer support after she started When it was explained to the customer that J***e is in the department that helps people get started with our services, and then once started, they are helped by our customer support department, she responded that she thought she would be talking to J***e the whole time At that time, we asked if she was not satisfied with the customer support provided to her, and the customer responded that she was satisfied However, after admitting that what mattered was that her questions, etcwere being properly addressed by our customer and legal support departments, she still wanted to complain and make up things just to try to justify her demand for a refund The customer also lost her attempt at a chargeback, clearly evidencing her attempt to get the services for free In addition, despite the customer's claim of the many typos, she never even submitted a request for revisions form, to properly request changes/corrections that she supposedly wanted Rather, she just called in and made the broad statement saying "everything" was wrong

We make it clear during the sale, in the terms of service and in the completed case intake form (all which were agreed to and submitted by the customer) that the services do not include an attorney in court Also, if the customer claims he did not receive something, all he has to do is let us know, and we can resend it These are just excuses to try to steal our services, and get the legal documents for free We can disprove every slanderous allegation made by this customer

Our response to her rejection: The documents were correct. The location was correct based upon the customer information provided to us. The customer never gave us the opportunity to resolve any issues she may have encountered.Thank you

Unbelievable! First of all, not only was this customer verbally informed of the no-refund policy before he engaged our services, due to immediate work performed by our legal team, the customer also agreed to the terms of service by submitting the case intake form (attached), which requires agreement
of the terms to submit the form. Moreover, this customer already received an court preparation from an attorney almost immediately after starting our legal services, and the attorneys already began the preparation of his legal documents. Finally, there is no record of this customer ever notifying our company of his cancellation of services or a request for refund. Not only is this customer not entitled to a refund, he has caused the company to incur a loss due to the work performed by the company and the customer's failure to even notify the company of his intent to cancel services

Customer makes a lot of allegations. As to what he says he was told or understood about our services, our terms of service (to which he agreed to and is attached to this response) sets forth the nature and extent of our services. Secondly, his case is extremely complex, in which he
admits was not handled properly prior to our involvement. The law is a gray area, and there are no guarantees. We provided what was deemed best given the status of his case. We cannot control what had been done, or not done, in the past. Unfortunately, as is typical in the legal industry, if someone doesn't get the exact result they are hoping for, they point to attorneys as the reason. We provided the best services and documents we could under the circumstances, and it is unfortunate that the customer wants to blame us for not being able to undo the past, and to not be able to control the decision of another human being (the judge). Finally, we informed the customer twice (of which he claims we never responded to him after his case was decided), that he should have his case reviewed by an appellate attorney

Complaint:
I am rejecting this response because:I did email the Attorney Connection to inform them that the documents were filled out wrong, I never heard back from them (picture # ending in 150426). On the original petition (picture# 144349) had Greeley, CO court house on the paper work that was also given to The Attorney Connection with the case intake formThe original Petition has *** listed at the "Obligor" also known as in court terms the Respondent in the caseOn the forms provided by Attorney Connection *** is listed as the PetitionerOn Colorado court form JDF it states when filing new paper work the " Petition-The person identified in the original Petition filed with the courts, Respondent-The person identified in the original Petition files with the court." On the documents provided from Attorney Connection *** is listed as the Petitioner(picture# 143957), also they were still missing information like ***'s Winformation for gross income. The clerk of courts could not accept the paper work that the Attorney Connections filled out because it did not have a case number nor did it have *** as the Respondent in the case, questions and information were blank or not answeredThey should have been answered all that information was given to Attorney Connection (picture ending in #150426) The court house on the paper work provided by Attorney Connection was Fort Collins, CO; the court house on the original petition is Greeley, COQuestions of the Financial Statement were not filled in (picture# 143929)When I talked with Sid with Attorney Connection I made sure to ask that they had a lawyer that knew Colorado law, he assured me that they had lawyers in Colorado that knew the Colorado court systemClearly they do not know how to fill out paper work.

This customer was provided the services and legal documents. Admittedly, there were a couple of typos, and they were immediately corrected upon the customer informing us of the corrections needed. The corrected documents were completely acceptable for filing with the court

Here are the facts. The customer was aware of and SIGNED the terms of service (see attachment- with relevant portions highlighted), a legally binding contract, including an acknowledgement of the no-refund policy. The no-refund policy is due to the fact that we begin working on
customer's case immediately, and we cannot get back attorney and legal support staff time expended on cases. This customer started our services on July and submitted his completed case intake form on July 11. The attorneys began research and preparation of his documents. The customer authorized payment of $for July to get the discounted price. The payment processed as scheduled by the customer. The customer then called, after the payment processed, and said he was considering cancelling. On July 27, he called and stated the Mom voluntarily gave up custody he doesn't want or need our services any further and stated he wanted to cancelmore than two weeks after he engaged our services. Neither the customer nor the business can turn back the clock and get the attorneys and legal support staff's time back, hence the refund policy. The customer signed a legally binding agreement accepting that, and now is asking to undo it. Just as customers want to hold us to what we agree to, we are entitled to do the same

Reasons why I reject this response:
I was never informed of the no refund policy or any billing policy when I made the initial purchase over the phone
I cancelled within hours ( less than business days) and as a resident of Illinois I have a right to rescind any contract within that time frame
No inquiry has been made into the recorded phone call I had with your salesperson who failed to provide me with critical information that your business claims I was made aware of
I was promised a reply within business days after filing my request for refund and I received no response from your company
5.it was made clear to me that no lawyers would be starting any work on reviewing my case until I submitted the intake form which I refused to doI have received no services from your company whatsoever
No inquiries were made into the abusive response I received upon making my second call to your company
Requiring citizens to waive rights including freedom of speech in order to request a refund from your company is probably unconstitutional and definitely unethical and certainly highlights the nature of this particular scam
I have still not been issued a full refund and I fully intend to escalate this issue and exercise my rights to the fullest until I have the full refund I am entitled toI am extremely disappointed but not at all surprised by your responseI view this as probably illegal behavior and definitely unethical behavior on the part of many members of this organization

We prepared what the customer requested and submitted. If this person did not want documents for her son, then why was a case intake form submitted on behalf of her son? (See attachment). We prepared what was requested by the customer when she called and in accordance with this
case intake form that she submitted. The intake form even emphasizes, at the end of the form, that the legal documents prepared are based upon the accuracy of the completed intake form submitted by the customer. The $monthly attorney support and case management fee was explained and agreed to by the customer. See the attached agreed upon terms of service

The terms of service, which was signed by the customer, indicates that the payment will be processed as per the schedule the customer requested when he first engaged our services. In addition, the scheduled payment was on the case management calendar of the customer, which was shared with customer and to which he had access. At no time, until after the scheduled payment processed, did the customer ask to cancel or ask us not to process the scheduled payment. If the customer wants to accept a $refund, we will do that. If he insists on an entire refund of the payment he scheduled, upon which we detrimentally relied based on his request and his signed contract, then we will not process any refund. And let us be clear, it is he who is committing theft (of services) by asking for our services, signing the contract, having us work on his case based on his request and ACCEPTANCE AND SIGNING of the terms of service, and then demanding his money back

I am rejecting this response because: I think it's unprofessional to send a bogus application after you took my money! My money was taken then I was told to fill this sheet outAll I got was someone telling me what to expect not representationIf I need guidance as oppose to having a lawyer I would have went here locally or to Avvo for any questionsBut to take someone money and claim you did a job because I filled out a piece of paper is bogusIf Dyer would have clearly stated its no refund once I gave my money then I would have no problem in this matter But don't do bad business and not making sure your client knows all details and everything is notice that you are not to receive any money back This is just a rip off scheme to send a bogus application that I was told to fill out and get no representation but some advice I didn't pay for advice I payed for a lawyer to represent meAll I'm asking for is my moneyIf you guys did some work I would respect this matter but to give you for nothing is not practicing good businessYou must state all guidelines and go over everything with a client not take they money and say you signed a paper!! Unprofessional and I will not accept no to someone trying to take my money.

It does not appear that this person has ever been a customer of The Attorney Connection. We have no records of this person, either by name, phone number or email address

First, there was no misleading. We are very clear what services we do and do not provide. Customer also received and agreed to the terms of service, which clearly explain everything. (See attachment) Secondly, the customer just received his completed legal documents days
ago, in which our process includes an opportunity for the customer to make requests for corrections and/or revisions. Rather than do that, the customer has chosen to write a slanderous, complaint with the Revdex.com. This is totally unprofessional to not address any issues with the company first. Customer received the services in full, and has not even given the company a chance to address his concerns, so his request for refund is adamantly denied

Complaint:
I am rejecting this response because: I paid for a serviceThe document had multiple typo's and my child's name spelled incorrectlyWhen I called in I asked to speak with J***e. (I was told the conversation was being recorded) I told J***e I felt like she didn't give me all the informationShe apologized and said she was newThat was a red flag for meI was then told by J***e that I would be transferredOnce transferred I explained that the document had typo'sThis portion of the conversation was also recorded)The representative was yelling and said to me after I explained that I wasn't happy with the typo's for the amount of money I paid. He said " I'm sorry we are not perfect" very sarcastically. I told him I wasn't satisfied with the service or with how J***e explained the serviceAnd he apologized for her not explaining it right and said she was new. He then said he would correct it and resend I told him I was having trouble opening the attachments so he said he would mailed them meI immediately put in a complaint on their website ( they should be able to provide a copy) I said the service was unprofessional and that J***e gave me the wrong info from the beginning and that I was yelled at and told the company wasn't perfectThe same rep called me back and said "I wasn't yelling I talk loud and you put in complaints and we will get to it when we get to itHe seemed very upset(This conversation was also recorded). That was the last time I was able to reach anyone form this companyNo info was emailed to meI received no updated typo free document in the mail (you can confirm that with the united states postal serviceThe only document I have is filled with typo'sI made several attempts to contact the companyI left a message which should be on fileOn the message I said I'd like a refund that I didn't feel comfortable with the service I received and that I wanted a full refundIf a business cant provide a service then the customer has every right to complainPlease review the recorded conversations. This company admits to sending out typo filled paperwork then they should also be able to provide the new documentation without typo's that I never received and now need now I don't need as months have passed
