I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID 11892575, and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.
[Provide details of why you are not satisfied with this resolution.]Entergy did not even respond to the issue of them sending me a letter stating that the credit report they used gave me a score of 518 and when I called them they said my score with them is 518 and Entergy stated THAT was why the deposits were so freaking high.  This is slanderous and regardless of the deposit, they LIED.  Realizing they used something called tele risk, which in itself is I'm sure fraudulent since they have supposed private information that no one knows about?  Of course they are not going to backdown, but I'm not either.  Why do they send out letters to their CUSTOMERS that they are supposed to care about with lies in them?  This is a sorry company.

I have reviewed the response from Entergy and I am not satsified with the response. This issue has been ongoing for 3 months now. They have never notified me of the results of any investigation on their part. I've been told they don't know what happened to the money and to this date they have not done much to help resolve this matter. I have talked to many different people and have been told many different things. I have followed all the processes they have suggested. I faxed my bank statement 3 times, at their request. I have also disputed the charge with the bank. Upon the bank's investigation, they have determined the charge to be a customer service issue with Entergy. I received the results of Woodforst Bank's investigation on October 30, 2014 stating the dispute was denied and I needed to contact Entergy concerning this issue. When I spoke to [redacted] at Entergy she started out saying, "You need to contact your bank." I replied, "I've already done that." Then she continues to say, " You need to dispute the charge at the bank." I again said, "I've already done that." Then she said, "They will have to retract the charge." I again stated that the bank found it was a customer service issue with Entergy and referred me back to them. Now after all this time, they are suggesting that I have to file a police report. I don't understand for what. It's clear they received the money. I have proven that. What am I supposed to tell the police Entergy stole my money? They have made no effort to get to the bottom of this. I just keep getting the run around and after I do the next item in their process they come up with a new one. I consider myself an educated person. I have a Master's Degree. I will file a police report and then I'm sure they will come up with some new criteria. When does it stop? All I want is my $340.00 back that they don't even know what they did with. Why is this so hard? I think they should refund me and figure out what they did with it. They are telling me now that I have to do a police report so they can get a subpoena so they can get to the bottom of what happened to my money within their company. This makes no logical sense to me. It seems silly to tie up the police department over this. Please help me understand what is going on. This is why we need a neutral third party. I feel like a tennis ball going back and forth.Hopefully I was able to attach a copy of the dispute resolution from my bank.

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID 11078981, and find that this resolution is not satisfactory to me.  But I will accept the Entergy's offer.I have found that Entergy people abuse the fact that Entergy has monopoly over power in this area. Thus it is meaningless to continue to talk with Entergy people over less than $2,000. Thus I want to stop here and accept the offer. I have not rescinded my acceptance of the Entergy offer. I simply pointed out that the monopoly of Entergy over power does not justify an Entergy business practice that Entergy people can say or do anything against scientific analysis and common sense. Anyway I appreciate the efforts of Revdex.com in trying to solve this nonsense problemThank you.

On July 10, 2017 this issue was also reported by the Louisiana Public Service Commission (Rhonda Dewitt) and was addressed via there office. The findings of our investigation concluded that Entergy had sustained no loss of service to this location nor reports of any outages at this...

location since Oct 2015 when a tree fell on a line outside the right of way. In lieu of the complaint the office manager Amber H[redacted] was contacted and she also confirmed the results of our findings stating that they had not incurred any outages to the building. It was upon her request that we reported back to the LPSC office that the next time this issue surfaces it is requested by her management authority that her office be contacted first so that the electrical panel can be checked by their electrician unless its a case of the entire building experiences a loss of service. Therefore we consider this claim to be without merit and considered the issue resolved. regards Tyrone J W[redacted]

The gas service has been restored and several messages has been left for the customer to contact our office for an explanation, however the calls have not been returned and therefore the issue is considered resolved.

The customer has been contacted.  The gas service was turned on 2/8/2016.  The permit requirement policy was reviewed with the customer.  An apology was given for any misunderstanding that the customer incurred.  [redacted]

The customer has been contacted and the matter is being resolved.

Customer contacted he stated the matter has already been resolved.   exe/cgray

Ms. [redacted] was contacted on May 19th and a discussion ensued that resulted in an unchanged position. She stated it was a waste of her time but she was advised/acknowledged that an appeal has been opened to take a second look at her claim request. The appeal is still pending.

Review: I presently live in a 600 sq foot apartment located at 2403 St Charles Ave. There are four other separate units in the home. My small apartment lacks central air, a window unit, and I do not have a television. I presently work 10-12 hours a day, and I am out of my home for another approximately 1-2 hours a day. My electric bills for earlier this year ranged from $20-60. However, in June I received a bill for $182; my bill for July was $170; and my August bill is $230. I contacted Entergy with my concerns. I informed them of my energy conservation habits, considering I unplug everything in the apartment; described my small unit and the fact that I lacked central air. I spoke with two of my neighbors on my floor. The neighbor next door, who has a wall AC unit, informed me his bill was $90. The neighbor down the hall informed me that her bill was $55, despite the fact that she runs her television all day. I've spoken with my landlord, who has not informed of any problems. Entergy has placed the burden on me to prove the unreasonableness of a $230 electric bill for a single person residing in a 600 sq. foot apartment. Entergy refuses to analyze my bill. Entergy refuses to come out and inspect their materials and ensure that they are in proper working order. The customer service department at Entergy has been entirely unhelpful and failed to address my financial concerns. I will seek to terminate my service with this company.Desired Settlement: I would like a refund for the June and July bills already paid from Entergy and a reduction of my current bill as compared to my May bill, which was $61.00. In other words, this matter could be resolved by refunding $120 for June; $109 for July; and my bill for August should accordingly be reduced.
