Excellent, professional service for oil tank decommissioning. Kept to timelines and advised if any delays. Superb communication every step of the way, and answered all my questions and concerns.
Andy (project manager) provided the detailed explanations of our unusual situation and of the decommissioning and testing processes in general, and kept in touch during the process. Site crews were professional, skilled, pleasant, and courteous. Steve and Austin took exceptionally great care to save our sidewalk and driveway from being destroyed (tank was very close to them). Crews cleaned up really well.
Initial estimate of the cost and potential increases (change orders) were laid out honestly, given there are unknowns (amount of contamination, if any; additional testing, if any needed; reasons tank might need to be removed; city permits if necessary, etc. They looked after all the paperwork for DEQ certification.

Terrible company to do business with. Very poor communication, they did not keep timelines, did not return calls, or give accurate information. Delayed and misrepresented findings and charged for their mistakes.

We recently contracted with Environmental Works to replace our old, non-compliant sewer line. While the bidding process was long and complicated, Environmental Works was easy to work with from start to finish. They were very clear with what they could and could not do, listened to what we wanted from the job and were very responsive to our needs. They were respectful of our property and kept us informed of any changes as we progressed through the project and worked very hard to minimize the disruption on our lives. In the end, the crew was able to finish the project a full day ahead of schedule. We absolutely recommend Environmental Works to anyone looking for sewer excavation work.

Environmental Works LLC provided a new sewer line connection to replace a non-conforming sewer connection in the City of Portland.
