EnviroSolar Reviews (%countItem)

I was promised a solar panel system that would provide $150 per month work of electricity. They installed a system that only produces $75 per month. I have told them and they disappeared. They don't respond to calls or emails. They have all but vanished.

We are working with Mr. to resolve his issues. Mr. sent in his energy bills and they are pending analysis. Analysis will be completed by EOD tomorrow, 4/29 and Mr. will be contacted with the next steps regarding his system.

Revdex.com:

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID, and find that this resolution is pending. We will see if the company does what is right. So far *** has been good at communicating and I expect to see good results. Thank you.

I purchased my solar system on February 18, 2019 from a company called Envirosolar out of Ft. Worth Texas. My salesman was ***, Director of Sales, ***r@***.con. We were told a lot of things by *** only to find out something different from the company. *** told us we would never loose power again and we would rarely have an electric bill. We are also supposed to be reimbursed for any electricity we paid while waiting for them to "turn on" our solar power plus $395.00 we paid to get a digital meter installed. I was told in May, 2019 by customer service rep. Daysha, our check was marked "priority" and it would be mailed soon. I've never received anything from the company.

August 16, 2019; I spoke with a lady named ***. After speaking to ***, I sent this text message to my salesman ***.

August 16, 2019 11:34 a.m.

Me: Hello ***. This is *** from Lawson. I've been on the phone with Envirosolar trying to clear up some confusion we've had. They told me that often salesmen lie to make a sell which is a little disturbing to me. Then they go on to tell me that I will probably always have an electric bill during the summer months because of the swimming pool. They also told me that my electric company only stores my unused kilowatts for a month and then buys back the unused amount at the end of the month. I was under the impression that the electric company will store our unused kilowatts throughout the year so we can fall back on those during the summer months when we are running the pool pump. So what it really boils down to is I'm paying $205.00 a month for the solar power which is fine but then I'm also paying a $200+ electric bill on top of that all summer long, which is not fine. She also told me that when the electric company loses power, we will not have power either because *** is pushing our kilowatts to us so when the power goes off they cant' push any electricity to us. This is another point we specifically talked about when you visited with us. You told us we would not lose power anymore. So I don't know if you are being misled by whomever trains you or if the rules have changed but right now we're not overly pleased with the information we have gotten. Furthermore, we have a couple others who are waiting to see how we like our solar power and could be contacting you for information. I's sorry to say, as of now, we would not recommend it. Please feel free to contact me if you think my information is inaccurate. A lady named *** is who I spoke with in the customer service department at Envirosolar.

August 17, 2019 9:21 a.m.

***: All that info is inaccurate, they set up your system incorrectly most likely and aren't taking accountability. They are lazy about sending anybody out to diagnose a system and will just tell you whatever they need to get you to stop calling. *** is whatever her name is, doesn't know anything about solar, their customer service reps are just there to deflect attention from the situation...They are all is. I will make time to come out and diagnose myself. I will be in Lawson Monday and give you a call then. (I never heard from *** again)

Me: I appreciate that. We just want our system to work the way we were expecting.

***: In the meantime you should call and let them know you joined up with several other customers in a Class Action Lawsuit against them for bad business practices and are pursuing settlement. I actually have several involved in such a situation, that my spark a fire with them and they will cut you a nice check and/or fix system. Seriously.

Me: So we're no the only one this is happening to?

August 17, 2019 12:07 p.m.

Me: We still have heard NOTHING! We probably need to meet with you and talk about this. Or even make phone calls while you are present so this can get resolved. (Again, never heard back from ***)

After *** stopped talking to me, I continued to contact the company.

September 25, 2019; I spoke with ***. She said she my check was marked "priority" and she would call me when it is in the mail. She also told me she would have someone named *** call me about setting up a service call to get my solar app working. I also emailed all my electric bill since we got the solar to ***.

December 3, 2019, I spoke with ***. He told me my check was marked "priority" and was scheduled to be mail on December 19, 2019.

February 28, 2020, I spoke with ***. She told me accounting was behind from layoffs but they were catching up and I should get my check by the end of next week.

Today I am done contacting the company. I just keep getting excuse after excuse and nothing but a "run around". It will be a year in May that I was first told my reimbursement check was marked "priority" and would be mailed soon.

The company is reaching out to Ms. today, 4/6 to discuss her concerns and request up to date energy bills for a production analysis. Once up to date bills are received and the analysis is completed, we will relay the plan of action to Ms. to address and resolve her ongoing concerns.

I have been in contact with ***, one of the QA agents at the company via email, and have also spoke to a Lead named *** a couple times as well. I have been wondering why in a household of two people by electric bill has been so high still and at one point *** had mentioned that my contracts did not quite matched and was told that my contracts were being given to the Management team to review further. I have been dealing with this since last November. I call their number and all I get is for me to leave voicemail in which no one ever returns the call. I have send NUMEROUS of emails to *** to follow up and has not been responding to my emails. I have expressed that the app I was given while it gives me what the panels are generating it does not give me generating vs usage which is more important for the consumer. For like the first few months I was complaining that I have getting outrageous bills from the electric company, took them like 2 months to realize the panels were not working (not sure why it would take so long to realize when I have been asking for them to be checked being that I was not sure I had turned them on correctly because that was another thing, I had to turn the panels on myself). After several months they FINALLY reimbursed me the overage due to panels not working properly (again, after me CONSTANTLY calling & emailing). The last time I was actually able to speak with *** (like in January or so) he informed me that Management still had to review my contracts, SINCE NOVEMBER meanwhile the payments of these panels are being automatic withdrawn from my account and I can't get anyone at the company to answer the phone, answer messages left or answer emails being sent. It's EXTREMELY FRUSTRATING not able to go in person and speak with someone due to they are in TX and I am in FL. I am pay THOUSANDS of dollars on a product that at this time don't feel was even worth all of this STRESS and for someone with Lupus such as myself is not good for my health. I am being ripped off here

I purchased a solar panel system form envirosolar and it was installed last November was told that it was going to produce enough energy that I would not have an electric bill just my solar panel payment after. Installation is incomplete they did not install solar attic fans, LED conversion 1 indoor sensor and appliance monitor system. The panel are shaded all day the trees were not tremed. I am still paying over $100.00 a month on my electric bill on top of my solar panel payment. I have called several times and left messages they don't return calls my sales representative will not answer call or return calls (***) ***-***-*** I have been and they charge and got paid over 40.000 dollars. All above was part of the contract.

We have communication from Mr. on Jan, 6th of 2020 that the tree trimming was indeed performed. We will reach out to Mr. to discuss the possibility of further tree trimming as he feels that the trimming was not done to his satisfaction. Envirosolar is open to further conversations with Mr. regarding the tree trimming and his installation, and will contact Mr. by Monday 3/23 to address and resolve his concerns.

In September 2018 I had a solar system installed on my house. Everything was going good until November 2019 when the inverter went out and I after product any solar energy since that date. I have made numerous phone calls to Envirosolar Power Company and I still haven't got my inverter replaced. It has been 105 days. They don't return phone calls and they don't keep there word about when they are going to fix the problem.

EnviroSolar Response • Mar 20, 2020

Envirosolar has spoken with the manufacturer. This has not been concluded that it is an overall inverter issue, but quite possibly an issue with the communication component of that inverter. A service visit will be required in order to troubleshoot the inverter and make corrections. Envirosolar will contract Mr. by Monday 3/23 to discuss the next steps at repairing his system.

Complaint: ***

I am rejecting this response because:i have been in touch with Solar Edge. It is the inverter that is out. The man at Solar Edge said it was the inverter itself. They have been waiting for months for envirosolar to answer 2 questions. So they can send the new inverter out. EnviroSolar has lied to myself and my wife Several Times. Told us for 2 weeks our System was going to be fixed the following week. My wife stayed home for 2 weeks waiting.

We will also contact the customer by tomorrow 5/5/20 with the next steps moving forward.Thank you

Our solar system has been down since 7-22-19.
I have called dozens of times to get the run around and promises of call backs.
I filed a Revdex.com complaint 6 or so weeks ago and you closed it out because they said they would come fix it. No one from the company has reached out to us as of today's date.

EnviroSolar Response • Apr 01, 2020

The company has contacted a full service repair team in the area to contact Ms., schedule a system inspection, and resolve the issue. The company will follow up with Ms. by 4/3/20.

On 10/10/2017 I entered into an agreement with EnviroSolar to install solar on my property. Approximately 10/21/2017 for $21,400. According to the agreement, EnviroSolar was to send an QA to inspect the installation, hand me my warranty documentation: this never happened. I also asked for a detail inventory of what was to be installed. This also has not happened. After reporting several issues with the system, such as shutdown for as long as 24 hours or a minimum of 8 hours, EnviroSolar installed SENSE monitoring at my location in July of 2018. Again I asked if this was included in the package that I purchase and again I asked for a detail inventory. In 2018 I filed a complaint with the Texas State Attorney General and with the Revdex.com. On August 2018 EnviroSolar said the would bring the installation up to standards if I withdraw my complaints. I cancelled the complaints. Part of that agreement was to reimburse for tax lost, LED bulbs, add 3 panels and inspect the system and correct the installation discrepancies. I receive a check and a box of LED light bulbs. In June of 2019 I refilled my complaint with the Texas State Attorney General. On July 11,2019 I received a communication from EnviroSolar Operations Manager with the following offer. 1) Install 5 more panels to ensure system is providing at least a 50% savings. 2) Secure the wires underneath the panels that are hanging and touching the roof. 3) Secure the Cables in the attic that are currently hanging on the Duct work. 4) Complete a Savings analysis and provide a savings reimbursement based off the bills you provide. 5) Provide you with the Warranty info for your Panels. If I did this. 1) Provide me with Pictures of the cables in the Attic so we can identify how to secure. 2) Provide me with your previous 12 months bills so we can perform a Savings Analysis and determine the amount of the Savings Reimbursement. 3) Removal of the Revdex.com Complaint. I did as requested. I sent 12 months of bills and received a check of just over $200.00. EnviroSolar hired Titan Solar to evaluate the system and remove the panels from my roof. The Titan Solar team from Austin came in November of 2019 and made the recommendation to move the installation to a ground solution. The Titan Solar representative called the EnviroSolar Operations Manager and there was an agreement to proceed. Since then I have not heard from Titan Solar or EnviroSolar. The Titan Solar agents did not remove the panels from my roof or correct any installation deficiencies. Their explanation was at least I was receiving some power from the panels. I have made attempts to contact both Titan Solar and EviroSolar with no reply or acknowledgement. In the past I have filed two complaints with the Texas Attorney General and both times I received a promise to fix the systems with EnviroSolar has not keeping their word. At this stage my first choice is the complete removal of the system, repair of my roof and the re-imbursement of my $21,400. My second choice is the moving of the system to a ground installation with the addition of 5 panels that EnviroSolar promised me to bring the system to the promise performance and the repair of my roof with EnviroSolar paying for the removal or the move of the installation.

EnviroSolar also operates under the names of . E-Grid Tech has also done business as: EnviSmart LLC, EnviroSolar Power, EnviSolar, KMA and Next Step Energy.

EnviroSolar Response • Mar 20, 2020

Envirosolar will contact Mr. by Monday 3/23 to discuss the desired resolution and next steps for his solar system and resolve his concerns quickly.

improper installation of product, not properly working, product installed is not what I was told I was getting, part of product not working at all, product installed is not producing the right amount of electricity due to improper installation,.Representative was misleading to the effect of , making promises about the roof he was informed needed replacing and he stated there was no problem that the company would come back and take care of that at no charge, that if we had a light bill of any kind the company would reimburse the money back to me,I am supposed to be able to look on the phone to see the grid the company never came back to finish installing it,I was told I had a battery with storage and found out I don't, the amount I was told the system would cost is different than the amount on the contract , it's more. we never received the contract til 1 year later. When the person was here and in putting the information on his laptop he asked me to put my initials in the box and I asked him if I could read the contract and I was told the he couldn't go backwards on the laptop to let me read the contract and he stated that what was on the contract was everything we discussed. When trying to resolve these problems we would be told that that person no longer works for the company. I was being threatened by the company that envirosolar hired to remove the tree , it took envirosolar 8 months to pay them.I was told this loan was unsecured just to find out that there is a security interest deed put on the title to my house. I only found this out when I tried to refinance my house and have been turned down.Envirosolars customer service people are rude and they hang up on me when I try to explain the problems I am having. One reason I wanted solar was to lower my electric bill , the second was for my wives health issues for when the power did go out she needs a nebulizer.

EnviroSolar Response • Feb 13, 2020

In response to Mr. claims: We recommended that the customer contact his insurance company to replace his roof, due to the hail damage he received. The insurance company generally covers removal and reinstallation of the panels, as it is required to replace the roof. The customer confirmed on 2/28/18 that he had access to the monitoring portal, to monitor his system's production. After that point, that he no longer had access. We will reach out to the customer to assist with setting him back up with the monitoring. The email address on the agreement and loan documents match, so customer would've received the agreement electronically shortly after the initial meeting. Company did send an agreement at a later date, at the customer's request, but the customer never indicated that he did not receive one initially. In regards to the security of the solar system, here is a description from the lender: "We secure your Solar Loan through a lien on the solar equipment itself by filing a UCC-1, or Uniform Commercial Code Financing Statement, and county fixture filing. The filings are not a lien against your home, so we do not hold any formal position in your home (first, second, or otherwise). You will, however, find a UCC-1 fixture filing on the title of your property. We file UCC-1 and county fixture filings to protect our rights as the financier of the system. If for whatever reason your mortgage on the real property forecloses on your home, the UCC-1 filing protects our security interest in the system, while preventing your mortgage lender from taking ownership of it." The customer service department has spoken with the customer on multiple occasions. We will reach out to the customer to further address his concerns.

SOLAR PANELS DONT WORK HAVENT BEEN WORKING AT ALL I'VE BEEN PAYING A LIGHT BILL SOLAR PANEL BILL SINCE SEPTEMBER NO REFUND AT ALL NOT BACK UP BATTERY NOTHING MY BILL IS HIGHER THAN IT WAS IM NOT SAVING NO MONEY I'VE BEEN CALLING EVERY MONTH NOONE DOES NOTHING ABOUT IT I EVEN TOLD THENM TO TAKE THEM GET ME OUT OF THEM

We are scheduling a service visit for the system and will be contacting the customer to schedule the service visit for the end of next week.

One star is too high a rating for this company. I have now discovered a third address that they apparently have and that one came through the Revdex.com. I tried to write this review with a zero star rating, but wasn't able to do so, however they deserve a zero star rating. They duped me out of nearly $15,000. PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE don't do business with these people!

I filed a complaint last year regarding difficulty related to getting my solar panels moved to my new house as promised by the sales person. The company FINALLY after several months solicited a contractor in my state to install the panels. The work was completed in Aug 2019, and although the contractor submitted the invoice months ago, the company has failed to pay the invoice and the contractor is now suing us for the amount of the invoice. I have reached out multiple times only to be told the issue has been escalated to upper management or that the operations manager will be in contact, yet no resolution has been reached.

EnviroSolar Response • Dec 27, 2019

Thank you for reaching out, the invoice has been submitted to accounting and a Check was issued and delivered. Company has been working directly with the Contractor to resolve. There are processing steps and verification methods required prior to invoices being fulfilled.

Our solar system has been down (not operating) since 7-22-19. I have been placing calls to the customer service department at least weekly since that time to schedule a service call to get the system running again. All I get is the run around about someone will call me back to set up a time. I have yet to receive a call back. Even speaking with the supervisor results in no help.

EnviroSolar Response • Dec 11, 2019

Envirosolar installed solar panels at our address and began operation in June 2019. On October 7th the system quit working. A QA rep from the company has worked with us and determined a part in the system had failed. I was in communication up until November 21st and have been told the repair would be scheduled. Since this date I have had no return communication from Envirosolar. I have tried calling and have been told that I can wait for the next available agent and then after 3-5 minutes the call would terminate. I have left a message on their phone system. I have submitted a Facebook message. I have left requests in two places on their website and have not had any contact from the business.

I did finally talk with someone at the company on 12/3/19 and was again only told that they were really behind with the contractor and that some other people have been waiting longer than me and they would schedule the install as soon as possible.

I contracted with Envirosolar for 27 solar panels for $40k in Nov. 2017. The installation was completed in late January of 2018 and NBU gave us a credit which lasted until about May of 2019. My first electric bill after the credit then was as expected and promised (water, garbage, and taxes). Each month thereafter, my electric bill has been as much or higher than before I had the panels installed. So not only am I paying for the panels but I am paying an electricity bill that was promised by Envirosolar to be eliminated. The sales rep secured financing for me through *** and both failed to inform me of restrictions on balance transfers and payoff options. after the initial 12 month interest free period the interest rate jumped to 23.99%. I was aware that this would happen, however just prior to the interest free period ending, I had planned and prepared to transfer the balance to lower interest options but was informed by *** that I could not transfer balances. Cash only from my checking account to theirs. this has left me with paying the extremely high interest rate until I secure a lower interest rate loan. In addition to this, the solar attic fans have been running constantly 24/7 for several months now and my communications with Envirosolar have fell on deaf ears. No one will answer the phone. I had to chat with a marketing rep online who said they would submit a work order for me. I waited 3 days with no feedback. I went online and finally figured out how to submit a work order myself through the support tab. 4 days later and still no feedback at all. no call, no email, nothing. The expensive system that I am paying for is not working as per the contract and promises from Envirosolar and the customer service is non-existent. I was also told that my system would be monitored by corporate to ensure performance efficiency. Obviously this was a sales pitch. please help!

Envirosolar will speak to Mr. by Monday 3/23 to discuss his desired solution of additional panels and take the next steps towards resolution. Mr. system has been producing consistently since January of 2019 and we look forward to resolving his concerns in a timely manner

I signed a contract with Envirosolar Oct.2, 2018.Panels were not up in our yard until after the last week of Dec. 2018. After several months, they connected the wiring to our house after digging a deep trench from the backyard to the house. They left it unfilled to the point it was a hazard for us to try to walk or mow for fear of falling. Several months and many phone calls later the installer said that a new inverter had to be ordered. After calling them several more time and them calling us, they installed a new inverter. The local utility & county passed inspection.EnviroSolo apologized that everything was taking so long, but they were doing the best that they could, because they were very busy with new business and did not have a technician that could come out there right now.I told them their "Best" was not good enough. After a few more months the inverter was installed & we received a call that they had PTO Power to Operate & we could turn on our power. WRONG! The inverter flashed"fault", inverter not working." The next day we received a call saying, Congratulations! You now have solar power. WRONG! We called again & again about the problem & they said they would send a technician. Finally, in early Sept. a tech came & tried to fix it, but he could not.It would only put out about 1/2 of the 7.965 kw.As of this date, no repairs have been made and we STILL have no solar. Envirosolar sent us money to pay to Loan Pal, but, but we felt we should not pay them yet, because that's like a mtg. co. asking us to pay for a house that was not yet finished being built. Loan sent us an email stating that if we did not pay them they would be turning us over to a collection agency by the 24th of September. They threatened to put a lien on my house, ruin my credit rating, & I would be responsible for all chgs. and fees if the panels had to be removed. I told them that the day and hour that I had solar power, I would pay every penny that I owe.I guess they think because I'm 84 they can treat me this way.

Thank you for reaching out. The company has contacted and spoken with ***, and they are satisfied with the company's response. The customer is planning on closing this complaint out as resolved, once they return from their vacation. At Envirosolar, we are strive to ensure all customers are satisfied in all aspects of the project.

A company named EnviroSolar pitched a rooftop solar system with huge emphasis on Federal Tax Credits (and refused to believe I had no taxable income though he was shown proof of that fact), including his calling his manager who also used high pressure emphasis on Federal Tax Credits and also refused to believe we had no taxable income in recent years. Both me switched their emphasis on the "You can sell your excess power from your solar system back to your electric provider...". However, they failed to produce technical Specifications proving the capabilities and operating abilities of their solar system. They did promise that information after the "Interim Contract was created, explaining the contract is not finalized until their engineers created an approved Solar System Design. Furthermore, they stated that the roof repairs/upgrade I needed to complete prior to installing their system could be financed on the same loan as the solar system install, and receive Federal Tax Credits based upon the total amount of the loan. (sigh...they were still not listening to me about lacking taxable income)
They claimed that a "Mosaic Solar Loan" would be set up, providing I was approved, but until the *** Document was approved, the loan account would not be activated. On the design approval, the process would estimate cost of the Solar System Design and the cost of the roof repair/upgrade. I stipulate that their Solar System Design would have to meet my requirements and my approval of their design. They explained that is normal process, that the Texas Contract with EnviroSolar would be an interim contract and require revision after all approvals and estimates were completed. Further more, they stated the Mosaic Solar Loan would be based upon my credit approval, but the contract amount would have to be updated once the actual costs were determined. I stipulated that of the "Two Projects" in the deal, the Roofing Project was priority ONE, and the Solar Project would not be permitted to start until the Roofing Project was finished and totally paid for. The EnviroSolar reps stated that would work and recommended a nearby, reputable roofing contractor that they had done business with before would be contacted by them for the roofing appraisal, if I had no objections. I researched the roofing company and found them reputable and found no negative remarks about EnviroSolar so I proceed with building the two contracts (in hindsight, much to my regret).
The interim contracts approved, by the EnviroSolar sales rep's instructions, he was to be my sole contact for the entire project and gave me his personal email address and phone number. During the creation of the Texas Contract with EnviroSolar, I questioned what appeared to be many fields where rather than the specific information should have appeared, they inserted my phone number. I was told that is because it is an interim contract and until the final contract could be completed the design and cost estimate had to be completed, and that even them the contracts, even the DCU Mosaic Solar Loan documents would have to adjusted once the cost of the two projects was finalized. The two "Interim" contracts were built using "eSigning" technology which required electronic signature and initials. As I reviewed the two documents I was attempting to read each one carefully, but my internet connection was a bit slow and the salesman seemed to be a bit impatient. Multiple times, he took my phone out of my hand and proceeded to scroll or jump quickly to the right spots and electronically sign my initials and signature. It was over before I realized it. (regretfully, I should have during the post contract creation review, killed both of the contracts because of that, but I really did not have a concrete reason to do so.)
The Digital Federal Credit Union loan named "Solar 141 Loan" was created on 1 July 2019 with a maximum of $100,000 credit approval, but stayed at an opening balance of $0.00 from 1 July through 21 July. To my astonishment, though I had not received the technical specifications for the Solar Design, EnviroSolar had not contracted the roofing contractor I chose, and neither contracts had been revised, on 22 July the balance of the Solar 141 Loan jumped to $27,133.50. I contacted DCU and was told they cannot reveal who received the payment because the *** was "***", that I would have to contact them and was given a phone number to call.
I called the phone number and a lady set up a complaint ticket and promised they would get back to me. Since that date, all I get is email messages that a ticket has been opened and they will get back to me. "***", the "Secure Solar 141 Loan" manager they created at *** with my name on it has to date, 2019-09-19, NOT CONTACTED ME. I still do not know who got the $27,300.50 out of that loan account and why, but I am working on it.
Worse, I have had to deal with many dozens of unanswered phones, email messages, and text messages at EnviroSolar. Most replies I did get, included responses to internet chat sessions was they were sorry and they would get back to me as soon as upper management gave them status. EnviroSolar failed to contract the roof contractor, so I contacted that contractor, got his estimate, forwarded it to EnviroSolar, they did the work, had to add a little bit of extra work to the initial proposal, submitted that document to EnviroSolar, roof contractor did an excellent job and finished on 10 August. However, EnviroSolar tried to set my install date for the Solar Solar system for 8 August, before the roofing was completed. When I refused to let them to start the Solar Install until the roofing contract was complete and totally paid for, COMMUNICATIONS WITH THEM WENT FROM BAD TO HORRIBLE. I persisted and without telling me when or why, the roofing contractor finally underpaid by $2500, 28 DAYS AFTER THE FINAL ROOFING INVOICE WAS SUBMITTED TO ENVIROSOLAR! So, I paid off the roofing contractor with a cashiers check. But, still no technical information on the Solar System, still no knowledge about whether the Solar System would meet my requirements, still no revised Solar System Estimate or revisions to the interim contracts, and COMMUNICATIONS with Solar Mosaic and EnviroSolar was almost at a standstill, except for their famous promise, "..we are sorry...but we will reach out to you with what you need very soon...etc".
Here is where the company "E-Grid Tech, LLC" had entered the fiasco. That is the name of the company that underpaid my roofing contractor. This company mailed that check for $12,800 (the initial proposal by the roofer), without communication to me or the roofer. It seems like this company totally ignored the Final Roofing Invoice for $15,300 that included the extra repair work that had to be done. That final invoice was sent to EnviroSolar by me and the roofing contractor via email and Mr. Cruz and I copied each other on the emails we sent so both of would have proof that the final billing was transmitted to EnviroSolar.
Who the heck is "E-Grid Tech, LLC"? That company name is not on any contract or document I ever received on this Solar/Roofing Project? That is when I decided to search that company. Thank you Revdex.com! (smack my forehead hard!) That is where I found out that E-Grid Tech, LLC is doing business with alternate business names and has a government action against it.

I have via telephone and emails instructed EnviroSoar and Solar Mosaic to kill the Solar Install, effective immediately, spoke with Digital Federal Credit Unions "Solar" department who kindly told me to obtain a form from Solar Mosaic that has to be used to close the Secure Solar 141 Loan, that we are still within the 90 day window since inception that the process allow it to be cancelled. But, so far, no response out of Solar Mosaic when I requested that form and asked for them to contact me.
The ultimate death of this project was when a contracted Journeyman Electrician contacted me two days before the proposed Solar Install date of 19 September, 2019 (yeah, I finally got a date message last week). He had questions about my service entrance, because from the EnviroSolar Site Survey, it looked like I needed Service entrance and Load Center total replacement upgrade (more money, of course). I managed to wheedle out of him the answers to two questions about the system that EnviroSolar had failed to respond to for many weeks: "Does the Solar Power stay on if my electrical grid goes down (hurricane, for example)? If it does shut off, is their in interlock box where I can switch and lock my home off the electrical grid and over to the solar power so I at least have access to the solar generated power? NO....SOLAR REMAINS SHUT OFF UNTIL ELECTRICAL GRID IS BACK UP? (I was without power for 13 days during last years hurricant). THAT MEANS THE SOLAR SYSTEM DESIGN OFFERS NO POWER REDUNDANCY AT ALL? That is correct sir. EnviroSolar could have built a design, perhaps, that would add a battery bank and other hardware, but they did not and it would have be very expensive."
That slammed the door shut on the solar project....now who took $27,300.50 from that loan account when I have yet to receive any product or services except for an underpaid roof contractor and monster headache?
Boy do I feel like a fool! Am one. Proved it. Please, Revdex.com! Post this long winded review so folks can read it. If you cannot do so, I will post it elseware. If my review gets people to to think and not make the same or similar decision, that will be my reward. Now back to work on this mess!

On Dec. 29th 2018, my wife and I decided to get solar to reduce the cost of our electric bill as promised by Envirosolar. On this date in Dec. we had a sales-rep from Enviro come to our house and she promised that by switching to solar with Enviro, not only would our electric bill be gone but we would be paying less. According to the paperwork from the company what the seller stated matched. She stated that they do an analysis of our previous yrs. bills and put enough panels on our home to not only be sufficient to give us enough electricity for the day, but would produce enough energy to not only carry us thru the night but give us a credit back to our Electric Company. How wrong she was.Now instead of an average electric bill of $179.00 per month by their calculations, we have to pay Envirosolar, or rather the finance company, $163.00 per month for the solar system and an additional $115- to $160 per month bill to the Electric Co. So instead of saving money on our electric bill, we are now paying almost double. I have made multiple calls to them to have this problem addressed, but to no avail.

Good Afternoon ***,

Just wanted to send you an update in regards to your claim, after further review, You were built a 62% Savings System, which means your system should produce 62% of your average energy. Your average Kwhrs (Based off of the energy bill(s) you provided during the appointment) is 1,400 kwhrs. This means your 6.490 kw system should produce, on average, 868 kwhrs. As you can see in the attachments, and listed below are the amounts of energy your system produced during the 3 full months your system has been on:
Apr 2019: 1,046 kwhrsMay 2019: 1,066 kwhrsJune 2019: 867 kwhrsBased off of this information, the average kwhrs your system is producing is 993 kwhrs, which is greater than the 868 kwhrs of energy it should be producing. Your system is performing and producing Better than initially anticipated! Congratulations! Also attached is a copy of your contract, and a copy of the Onboarding proposal which was sent to you 8 business days after you signed your contract, and nearly a month before your system was installed. As you can see in the Onboarding Proposal Paperwork, it clearly states on page 3 that 62% of your total energy is estimated to be covered by the Solar Panels, and 38% provided by the *** Company. In addition, on Jan 9, 2019, we called and spoke with you in detail, covering the information in your Onboarding Proposal Paperwork. Notes from that call state that not only did you "do a ton of research when picking our company", you also did not have any "Questions or Objections moving through the information in the Proposal". You did have a brief discussion with our Onboarding Specialist in regards to the Tax credit, and understood you could actually lower your monthly loan payments by applying more then the 30% Tax Credit. At the end of the conversation you appreciated the information and had no other questions or concerns. You also received an additional $1,200 check, to help with any other financial burdens. Here at Envirosolar, we do all we can to help ensure our clients never feel like they are being mislead, or that there is not any miscommunication on the system that is being installed. That is why on multiple occasions, we do all we can, including providing additional paperwork, prior to installing the system, to ensure again we are always on the same page. Based off of your approvals and the fact that you stated you understood and had no objections to installing the system, we proceeded, and we provided you with a system that is working and producing Better than anticipated. We appreciate you reaching out to us, any if you have any other questions or concerns please feel free to reach back out to us. You can contact us at: *** or reach us at *** Thank You!

I am rejecting this response because:The system doe's not produce the power that I was led to believe it would.

Regards

I agreed to purchase a solar system from Envirosolar and they installed the panels on my roof about 4 days later. Due to permitting issues the system couldn't be made to work for approximately 4 months after initial install. When they finally turned the system on it put out less than half of the advertised power at peak times. The system produced virtually nothing if it wasn't in direct sunlight after I was told that the system would produce 80% of max capacity even on cloudy days. I began looking for help and kept getting promise after promise that they were going to make it right, and that I would be reimbursed for all payments until it was producing as it was supposed to. I got nothing in the way of actual answers or reimbursement until I finally got in contact with the Oklahoma state *** for Envirosolar. The *** came to my house and immediately told me that the panels were installed incorrectly. The panels have to be at a 45 degree angle and they were installed flat on a flat roof. The *** made me a promise that he would get this resolved immediately by pulling the panels from the roof and doing a ground mount. That was approximately 3 months ago and all I got was a reimbursement check for 3 payments and a copy of the contract finally. Some of the signatures on the paperwork I received are my initials forged by someone else. I have been contacting the *** by phone and email but he has not answered the phone or returned my calls or emails. The salesman said that he is still in his position and still has the same phone number. I am unable to get any help from the Envirosolar at this point and it appears that they do nothing but promise, lie, forge signatures, and con people into solar systems that don't do what is promised at the time of sale. The loan that Envirosolar gets for you is also not as promised. Loanpal is the loan company the paperwork says that it is 5.9% interest but it apparently is compounded daily because out of a $208 payment, only $13 goes to principal. That was not made clear at all during the sales process. That is just as much of a misrepresentation as the rest of this deal. I would love to get my money back because they obviously aren't going to do what they said which is a breach of the contract. They have done absolutely nothing to hold up their end of the deal.

We are actively investigating your claim and will contact you as soon as possible.

In December 2017 we went into contract with *** to have solar panels installed on our house. When I got the information on the financing I hit the ceiling because the interest was astronomical. It was an account which was 12 months free as long as the balance was paid by 12.4.18 at 23.99%. When I called ***, I was informed that they planned to refinance the account before we had to pay any of that extreme interest. That never happened so we are stuck with that financing. We have paid on the account since the beginning and have paid to date $4650.00. The panels were to be installed and operational on or before 2.27.18. We were assured that they had a monitoring system which would tell the company if the panels were not working properly. Due to the erratic weather during that time, we could not tell by our bill if there was anything wrong or not. But, when our bill in June was so high, I knew that it was not working. When I contacted our sales rep, *** he asked that I send a copy of our next bill. When he saw it, he confirmed that the panels were not working & we had no credits on our bill during the whole time. He said he would check with *** and see what he could find out. I told him that I had already talked to *** and that there was nothing they could do as it was on the wrong side of the pole. We texted back and forth for a while until I got tired of getting the brush off and told him to either get them fixed or get them off my roof and the money from them back into our account (***, (***). I called the finance company and got contact info to the company in December. We were going to Texas and would be returning on Dec. 28. The installers called me and arranged to call me on the 11th. They called on the 14th and a neighbor showed up so they could check the system; Two panels rolled into night mode and the 3rd was inop. the appointment made after the 28th was not kept by them. Finance gave us information and #'s which roll into one.
