We attended a presentation at TSI in Charleston, SC a few month ago. We ended up purchasing a membership for our family. Happy to say it has been a pleasure working with them on several different vacations we needed help with. They saved us a ton of money! The customer service was excellent and knowledgeable.

I attended a presentation in Charleston, SC on 27 February 2018 and signed a contract. My bad! Several days later requested that contract be cancelled via email
mail and letter to "Mike" in Charleston office requesting cancellation. Was told company would be holding meeting on April 3, 2018 the review my request. No response from company. I looked up airline flights and found that I can go through an airline and receive the exact same price as TSI. Have not used TSI at all. Very disappointed in Mike and Patrick at TSI. No communication!

The company misrepresented the program. Calls and emails are not returned.
On October 5, 2017 we attended a presentation by the company. The company claimed to save the members money on travel bookings. We asked them to get us a quote on a spa we have experienced. They produced a quote with significant savings which got us to sign up with them. When make the actual reservation the company showed no savings and in fact was the exact amount we got on our own.

Desired Outcome

We have not used the service at all. I emailed the company for a refund but have gotten no reply.

Attributes to membership claimed during the Sales interview have proven to be totally untrue. Efforts to contact the company have been unsuccessful.

We purchased this contract during a visit to Charleston in June 2017. We were attended to by Director of Sales Charlene Kovach & Project Director *** At the time of the presentation we clearly explained that we were interested only in package and cruise holidays.
The sales pitch explained that for such vacation travel discounts of up to 50% were the normal, if purchased through a membership program.
We requested a price on a particular tour that had our interest, we were advised that it was easy to obtain via your website, your representative said that he would look it up for us. Within 5 minutes your he came back with a price which was approximately 50% below the website advertised price.
We were impressed and purchased a membership.

It now seems that we have been mis-sold and mis-lead bordering on a fraud.

Now ready to book up such a package, we could not locate it on your website, we therefore telephoned in, and was transferred to a concierge who could not help us, except to explain that we needed to obtain a concierge appointment for a tutorial on how to utilize the website. we had the tutorial on Monday December 18.

In that tutorial it became clear to us that while your offerings for weekly rental units was extensive there is no direction for the type of package that we seek, and that we were promised was available. In fact to even to obtain a quote it was necessary to submit an e-mail and then to wait for up to 5 days for a response. We would point out that our local travel agent gave us an answer within 15 minutes.

So we waited until Friday December 22 for a reply to our request from *** When received the information provided was not what we had asked for. We had supplied both the Tour Company name and the required duration. The reply was for longer tours, with unnamed tour companies.

Another phone call to the provided number yielded further frustration, your agent telling us that we need to submit a further travel request, finally he took down the information and said that he would submit the request on our behalf.

Tuesday December 26 brings forth a further e-mail from *** containing no new information, repeating her earlier e-mail. Again we telephone, shuttled around for a while and then told that Brittney would call us back.

*** called later, she was indignant that no such 7 day tour exists from Rapid City to Salt Lake City. WRONG. She also said that she had never heard of Caravan Tours. With that lack of knowledge, your services are sadly lacking. We have now made a reservation with Caravan Tours for exactly the itinerary that your company said did not exist.

cancellation of membership and a refund of at least 50% of paid membership fees

We purchased a contract with TSI while on vacation in Dec.2017. What we were told in person is not true in reality. We want to cancel our contract.
We were told that TSI was endorsed by the Revdex.com, and your logo was prominently displayed. We were given actual price quotes to desired travel destinations that bear no resemblance to what we are able to find on the TSI website. We were also told that they could offer travel deals at significantly reduced prices than what we could find online, and were given sample "quotes" by our sales rep that we have been unable to find online. When we compare TSI with our own online searches, we are money ahead by using our own searches to book travel. The carbon copies of the contract info we signed contain no phone number, address, or website. I have only been able to access TSI through emails they send me, and then I am not able to create my own password or get any company information. The weekend of Dec.15, I looked for information on the TSI website regarding a Rhine River Cruise. Instead of giving me information, I got an email on Dec.17 saying my request for a cruise had been received, and I could expect to hear back from someone within 3-5 business days. I had hoped to purchase this cruise as a Christmas gift for my husband; my intent was to purchase a cruise and give him a printout of our reservations on Christmas morning. As of January 4, I have yet to hear back from anyone at TSI. I charged the "Travel Club Membership", and have yet to pay the charges (the bill just came a week ago). I wish to cancel the contract because I believe their representation and their claims are fraudulent.

Desired Outcome

We just want to cancel our contract and walk away. We have not contacted the business; we have no phone number, no e-mail for them. I have not been able to access their website recently. I get a page that says "We'll be right back. We are feeding the server gremlins to ensure smooth operational status".

I sadly purchased travel club membership with Travel Services International (TSI). Their marketing included prominent disclosures of their A+ membership of Revdex.com and specific access to travel products at wholesale prices i.e. cut out the middle man (e.g. booking.com or Expedia etc.). The products included a "members only" website that reflected these rates. I book all my travel online and the availability of a updated website is a critical decision making point for me. Immediately upon access to their "members only" website, I tried to rent a car. TSI rates were more than 25 percent higher than me renting a car from Enterprise car rental despite me not using any discount codes like Costco etc. I have easily compiled other examples demonstrating rates on the TSI website that are much higher than the general public is able to obtain. It is impossible to directly contact a human at TSI (it generates a call back number and all call backs are blocked for caller ID), Customer service is extremely poor and email addresses given to me are easily obtained Gmail accounts. The company will not cancel the contract despite not delivering what was promised including not having ANY membership of the Revdex.com, let alone an A+ rating. Companies are legally separate entities and should not be able to market credibility based on the ratings of a different legal entity.
