Exhibitors Housing Management Reviews (52)

Review: This company inaccurately representing itself as our "housing vendor" is contacting individuals in the NAILBA community, soliciting business. NAILBA does not utilize the services of ANY housing company for ANY of its events. EHM Is NOT authorized to contact ANY of these individuals, nor is it permissible to represent your company as an authorized vendor. EHM and NAILBA have NO business relationship whatsoever, and to imply otherwise is fraudulent.Desired Settlement: This company must cease and desist contacting members of our community and offering their services; they MAY NOT represent themselves as "NAILBA's housing vendor". It is UNTRUE and FRAUDULENT.

Attending the AGU in San Fransisco for the first time as an exhibitor, the EHM contacted me and presented themselves as the official traveling and housing agent for the conference. After a long correspondence, where they repeatedly contacted me, we arranged for a hotel reservation, and I signed and gave them my creditcard information. However, when I later talked to the conference management, it showed that I did not have a hotel reservation - AND that EHM was NOT associated with the AGU at all. When I confronted EHM with this, they refused to answer and refused to refund my money, or acknowledge that they had entered into the deal under a false pretense. A really expensive experience - avoid them.

The small company I work for is attending a conference overseas as an exhibitor. A sales rep from this company called me numerous times in one day. After telling the sales rep that I was not interested in his services numerous times, he asked me, "Who the [redacted] do you think you are?" I think that about sums up the kind of business this is.

Review: On our about August 12, 2015 I received a call from Isak from Exhibitors Housing Management (EHM) and he stated that he was working with Pharmacy Development Services (PDS) conference and his company was making hotel reservations for those who were attending the conference. I took him for his word and made the reservation, they charged my credit card $250 for a deposit on the room and a $7 international fee. After hanging up one of my co-workers stated that PDS had sent a notice that EHM was not working for them and this is a scam. I called their [redacted] that same day and requested to have the reservation cancelled and funds credited back to my card. Isak told me he would talk to accounting and get back to me. After seeing the $257 charge on the credit card I called Isak again on 8/25/2015 and he asked for PO number, I explained that I had never received a receipt. He then told me I had to send an email stating I wanted my money back. I sent an email requesting a refund and instead I recieve a copy of the reservation. Today 9/1/2015 I contacted Isak again and he states he will get in touch with accounting. When I asked about the $7 international fee he states it is a state law to charge this fee. He then said there would be a 5% fee for cancelling. I stated no I wanted my full refund. He then hung up on me.Desired Settlement: I would like to have my full $257 refunded back to the credit card.

Thank you

Review: Exhibitors Housing Management misrepresented that they were working on behalf of RealComm. As RealComm gets credit for booking to its conference, we confirmed that they were working with them. Speaking with RealComm on the same day, they advised us that they do not work with Exhibitors Housing Management and to cancel the reservation or RealComm would not get the credit. When we called on the same day, we were told that we would have to pay a cancellation fee. We disputed this with them and they refused to credit the credit card. We filed a complaint with American Express. We notified Exhibitors Housing Management that if they didn't remove the charges we would file a Revdex.com complaint.Desired Settlement: We would like a refund and that they are not to reference RealComm.

Review: September 15, 2014

Exhibitors Housing Management [redacted] To whom it may concern:

It has come to my attention that you have been intruding into my organization’s

upcoming convention in [redacted] (March 5 – 8

th, 2015) by redirecting our event’s

contracted hotel rooms to your organization despite your organization not being involved

with our event. This letter is to request that you immediately cease and desist from

pirating those rooms.

Your improper intrusion into our event may result in a civil law suit for tortious

interference with contract and/or tortious interference with business relations. The

financial consequence of these actions could result in your company being charged with

paying all of our attrition penalties alongside other financial loss that we incur as a result

of your intrusion.

I oversee the management of intellectual property and brand for the [redacted] – [redacted]). We have very

strict guidelines as to how and where our intellectual property can be used. We also

benefit from the protection afforded us by [redacted] and the regulations of the [redacted] and [redacted]. As such, the attached Exhibitors Housing

Management email came to my attention.

Our records do not show an approval for your use of the [redacted] name and your company

appears to be infringing on protected intellectual property. This letter is to formally

request that you immediately cease using our intellectual property, remove all references

to it in current and future materials and notify your affiliated personnel and company to

do the same.

Thank you for your anticipated cooperation on this request. If you have any further

questions please feel free to contact me.Desired Settlement: We need for them to stop contacting our members and representing our organization without our permission.

Review: The [redacted] has NOT authorized this company to represent us in any way with regards to our hotel room block needs and reservations. They are contacting exhibitors claiming to represent [redacted].Desired Settlement: The [redacted] has issued a "cease and desist" letter to this company and demand they do not solicit business from our exhibiting companies for any future annual meeting.

Review: We are a tradeshow producers. EHS is contacting our customers (exhibitors) pretending that the are associated with AmCon and leaving msgs for our customers to call them immediately to assist in their hotel accommodations (as far as we can tell for our Phoenix show at this time). AmCon has it's own host hotel associated with our shows and we have NO association with Exhibitor Housing Services. I have tried to contact them many times - mostly I get an answering machine. I did reach someone yesterday and told him to tell his sales staff to stop contacting our exhibitors. He said he would - however I received another complaint from an exhibitor today.

Phone number they leave is [redacted] was one of the names used. When I called for him yesterday they said he is no longer with company.

The name my exhibitor received today was to call a [redacted] (same ext). I called and got put on hold for 1/2. Then when I tried back only received sales voice mail.

Thank you for your help!Desired Settlement: Cease and Desist email

Review: EHM has called me at least 8 times. They are advertising that they have housing for a conference in San Diego. They are not the contracted housing authority for this conference and I have asked them to stop calling me at least 5-6 times. They keep calling and I would like them to respect my wishes and stop!

Review: This company contacted me alleging to be the official housing reservation provider for a conference that I was scheduled to attend ([redacted] trade show in [redacted]). They called and stated 1) that they were the official housing organizer, 2) that if I didn't book that day, that the conference rate would no longer be available and that the room block was just about sold out, 3) that the official conference rate was $[redacted], the official conference hotel), and 4) that there were no booking or cancellation fees.

Based on that verbal representation -- especially the point about the reservation being fully refundable -- I agreed to reserve rooms with them, fearing that if I didn't do so, the conference block would be sold out.

A couple of days later, I received notice from the trade show organizers (again, [redacted]) warning about this company and others like it misrepresenting attendees that they were the official housing provider, and that they were NOT at all authorized. They also listed the legit company ([redacted]) and the correct hotel rate -- $[redacted], NOT $[redacted]!

Upset by what happened, I contacted EHM to request that my reservation be cancelled. They told me that they would do so, but they would charge a penalty (!) of $[redacted]!!! The sales rep explicitly told me that there was no cancellation or service fees. The rep told me that they sent me a signed contract, but the contract that they alleged that I signed was NEVER signed by me, and I pointed out that the signature didn't match. Moreover, I only agreed to a rate; I NEVER was presented with any language about cancellation or booking fees. Note, if you do a Google search for this company, you will see complaint after complaint about this company misrepresenting who they are, misrepresenting the fees they charge, etc.

Note, here is a web link to warning about this company: http://www.realtorstripleplay.com/hotel_travel/scams/Desired Settlement: This company has also sent me numerous harassing emails threatening legal action and I want them to STOP emailing me.

Review: EHM called 6/10/2015 intimating that they were connected with a conference I'm speaking at in Singapore in July and were calling to book my hotel (not an uncommon service). Because they had my specific contact info and knew of my talk, I believed this. They also told me (on a "recorded line") that I could cancel at any time up to 72H before the check in date for no charge. I do not know Singapore at all and agreed to this under what I now know were false pretenses. I provided my credit card number to secure the reservation (obviously not unusual). They did not tell me they were going to charge anything at the time. They sent me a form to sign (also without a $ amount), again to "secure the reservation" and when I noticed it said I could only cancel 72H from booking, the salesman told me to disregard, as what he told me before was true (cancellation is free). On a recorded line (so I thought), I felt safe.

I made at least 3 attempts to cancel the reservation by phone and heard nothing (they never answered the phone). I then emailed on 6/18. This prompted a call from EHM, telling me that I could not cancel the transaction (they had charged me $178 already that I did not know about). I argued for some 15-20 minutes before getting "disconnected." I subsequently received MAY emails "confirming" my reservation. I called my CC company, who advised I not respond to EHM until the dispute investigation was complete or they did try to charge me again. 2 days later, EHM charged me $356.24; the CC company advised changing my number.

Googling this company I have found conferences post that they masquerade connection to conferences in order to make money. I think this is fraud, and in retrospect I feel extremely naive for falling for it. They continue to harass me, and I am concerned they will try to tarnish my credit as a next step...and also do this to others!Desired Settlement: Refund, no further contact, no attempts on my credit, and cessation of these predatory business practices.

Review: Exhibitors Housing Management visited my http://MedicalDeviceEvents.com website and called all of my speakers, offering them (and this is a quote from an administrative assistant to her boss):

[redacted] from Exhibitors Management

Phone: [redacted] (extension [redacted])

Message: Your hotel room reservation at the Hilton San Diego Mission Valley for the Medical Device Conference was booked at a higher rate and he needs to speak to you so he can “fix it”.

Later the same day I got another email from another speaker, asking if it was a scam. They had sent him a form to fill out in the hopes of saving $10 per night.

I called the Hilton San Diego Mission Valley, the hotel with whom I am contracted, for the event. They'd never heard of them and advised me they were trying to scam my guests.Desired Settlement: It would be great if you could put them out of business. Barring that, at least leave me and my guests alone!
