I am rejecting this response because:*** *** of Memphis was prepared to fix the warrantied part, but GWC rejected placing a Original Manufactured part to save moneyThe repairs could have been completed in one day, but because they chose to order a after market part and I have to choose another repair facility I have been without a car for daysI would also like to know if the repair facility estimated the hours of labor or the GWC employee?There seems to be no urgency to get a part to the repair facilityAnd to not offer rental reimbursement after days without a car seems ridiculous.

I have reviewed the customer’s statement of the problem and the claim details associated with this concernThe customer did have a claim initiated 3/27/for a concern of a
coolant leakThe shop diagnosed a rear crossover pipe leaking coolant*** *** has a GWC Powertrain contract and the coolant crossover pipe is not a covered itemThe repair shop called back on 3/30/with the engine running rough and steam out the exhaustGWC Warranty had an independent mechanical inspection completed due to the repair shop reporting that the vehicle may have been overheated as a result of the coolant leak from the coolant crossover pipeThe inspection had confirmed a block test had tested positive for combustion gases entering the cooling systemAt this point we advised the shop to get customer authorizing to tear down for failureWe sent out for a second inspection on 4/21/at this time the inspector did verify the failure as warped right side Cylinder Head due to previous overheatingThis type of failure is specifically excluded in our contract terms and conditions as follows;
EXCLUSIONS (WHAT IS NOT COVERED): This Contract provides no benefits and GWC has no obligation under the Terms & Conditions set forth for what is not covered herein listed below
• Repairs required because of collision, modification, abuse, overheating, fire, theft, freezing, vandalism, Acts of God, or any loss that is insurable under standard physical damage coverage whether or not such insurance may be in force with Your Vehicle
• Mechanical Breakdown arising out of negligence or continued operation of an impaired Vehicle
• Repairs to Covered Components caused by the failure of a non-covered component
The overheating damage to the engine would not be eligible for coverage per the terms of the service contract

I am rejecting this response because: the reason my vehicle is I the repair shop now is because the company they DEMANDED I take my car too, *** *** does not have the proper equipment to complete the replacenent of a transmissionIn a *** there is a code that had to be configurated and *** is the only company that has that information and *** WILL ONLY RELEASE IT TO *** DEALERSso...In fact the warranty has not been helpful

I am rejecting this response because: I have been having issues with vehicle since October and I have contacted both the dealer and GWC since thenIn the response from the company representative he stated they see a claim from March 2016, but I initially contacted them in October after informing the dealer of the my issuesAttached is an email sent to my wife from the dealer after I informed him of the issues I was having and he told me to contact GWC, in the email he is inquiring on what kind of response I had from the companySo why is there no log of when I filed the initial claim October 2015, before I even had the car daysAfter I was denied the first time I filed a claim I have been trying to cancel this policy and have just been given the run aroundthe fact that there is no accurate log of every time I contact this warranty company is troublingAlso the #policy attached by GWC differs from the one attached to my contractIn my contract it states you have days to cancel for full refund and in the attached policy it states you have days, that is one discrepancyI have also contacted the dealer and left multiple messages with no responseThe information provided by GWC is misleading and the entire experience has been misleading and erroneousI am contacting the company I have the policy with and I would just like my money back and this policy cancelled

I am rejecting this response because:I have no confidence in their ability to provide acceptable serviceAn apology from them for their very poor customer service is unacceptableI am aware that of the items my mechanic phoned in only one would hv been covered But again their failure to follow up with me,the customer over hours after I left the message is the issueNot providing me,the customer with all information is also at issueAdditionally,no where in the contract is there mention that the company could send someone to inspect the proposed repairsIt appears that this company has no problem accepting the funds for the repair contract but aren't as fast to provide the service that they have been paid for. I am no alone in making complaints about gwc, I have read complaints that gwc told one customer to pay for their repair, and then denied the reimbursementI am reaching out to the dealership to pursue a partial refund.

We do reject the decision"EXCLUSIONS - WHAT IS NOT COVERED" of the contract is something that we were never shown and never signedThe contract you attached is an unsigned contract and again, is not what we were shown or what we signed at the time of purchasing the warrantyEach page of a contract must be initialed showing acknowledgement of the additional pages preventing adding pages that are not part of an original signed contractPlease provide a contract showing acknowledgement of additional pagesAgain, we did not sign an page warranty contractWe paid $for a warrantyThe one page contract we signed says "no worries, just drive!" We have done nothing to void the warranty; so, now we need reimbursement of the cost of repairing the carWe want the warranty to do what we were told it would doWe want the warranty company to honor the contract we signed!

I am rejecting this response because: these are statements that I had not changed the oil in my *** for 10,milesWhen my *** first arrived at the garage, GWC had only requested the latest oil change receipts, and I gave them insteadThey did not ask for every oil change receipt for the time I have owned the ***I have been in contact with MrB*** and will be sending him the rest of the receipts to give a complete oil change history.

I am rejecting this response because:GMC's own adjuster recommended that the engine be replaced not once but times during this whole ordealWhen the car was dropped off the repair shop was asked to break the motor down to prove it was the timing chain which they did afterwards the adjuster came out and agreed the engine needs to be replacedThen GMC told the mechanic they needed a plethora of information on what exactly needs to be done at that time the mechanic advised that he could not fix the motor as parts had broke and gone into the motorGmc wanted a full list of parts and labor needed to be done At that time the adjuster came out again and agreed for the second time engine needs to be replacedThe machanic advised Gmc to do repairs will put the motor in jeopardy and motor needed to be replaced againThis contract is a joke they make the mechanic jump through loops so they can make more work than what it is worthI took the automobile to a authorized place and followed thier judgement just to be told it's not covered I spoke to other mechanics who all agreed to same if needed I can get written documentsThis car started making noise back in October I took it to an authorized place then to be told they will not pay for any repairs at the timeThe car eventually went from what the mechNic stated was wrong with itNow I'm being told to prove the motor will go in a few weeks from the plastic parts well to me I had mechanics all tell me the same thing and back in September when I had the problem start the authorized dealer stated that is what was wrong with it so I tend to believe the mechanics than GMCThis contract is a scam I would like a refund on my contract ir the repairs paidTo do this to people who work hard for thier money and buy a warranty for this reason of getting your car fixed and only to be told after its my responsibility to pay for repairs seems like a scam to meI looked on line to all the complaints too and if they continue the complains will continue to.

eston the repairThey said they would call back with their findings and estwe called the shop back on 8/28/to see if they had an eston the repair and they said they were still working on it and would call backOn 8/29/the shop called back and verified the transmission would need to be replaced and provided us with their estwe sent an inspector out to verify the failure on 8/29/and received the written report on 8/31/verifying the trans is failed and would need replacementWe made the shop and the customer aware on 8/31/that we could send in a used transmission with an end of contract warranty or we could make an allowance towards the shops new reman transmissionThe customer called again on 8/31/to see if she could move this to a different shop, we gave her a preferred shop of ours in that areaOn 9/1/the shop called back and said the customer is keeping the vehicle at their shop and would like us to send in our used transmissionGWC ordered the transmission on 9/1/with a delivery date of 9/to 9/due to the Labor Day holidayAs for the coolant, I will advise the adjuster to add coolant if the shop needs itThe customer has a Powertrain Plus contract and rental is not a covered item on that contractI have provided a copy of the contract for review also see section PartsPARTS: Replacement of Covered Components may be made with parts of like kind or quality and may be new, remanufactured, rebuilt, exchanged, or serviceable used components as are customarily used in the automobile industry and approved by the Administrator If you have any questions at all, please do not hesitate to contact me againGWC Warranty Corporation John W*** Litigation & Escalation Manager *** *** ***
