Falcon Heating & Air Conditioning Reviews (%countItem)

Henry and a Roger were this homeowner’s dream. They found that our new home’s thermostats did not recognize the cost savings possibilities that were built into our heating/cooling system. This alone made the bi-annual contract worth the cost. Friendly, polite, and honest are words that describe my experience.

We have always had pleasant service from Falcon. Technicians are courteous and neat, and explain everything along the way patiently

Technician arrived within the time window provided. He spent time explaining what he found out and how he's going about fixing it. He also patiently explained to me both my A/C units and how they function. I would certainly hire them again. In fact, I bought service maintenance from this company.

I have my 4 year old AC tuned up on 6/27/19. The Technician came at the end of the window 8-12. The technician was courteous and professional. I have a discount/promotion voucher for $39.99 tune-up. After done with the inside tune-up, the technician went to check the outside unit and he told me that the Capacitor is weak and recommended that it needs to be replaced although it is still working but with it can fail anytime. He told me the cost of the Capacitor is $257. I had hesitated since the Capacitor is too costly however the technician insisted that the AC can fail anytime! I agreed to have the capacitor replaced with the cost of $257. The replacement took an additional 5 minutes to replace while the tune-up was being wrapped up. Today 6/29/19, as per suggestion of a friend, I went to Amazon to look for the capacitor of exactly the same (same manufacturer, same model) that Falcon had charged me $257, in Amazon the price is ONLY $60.17: FOUR (4) TIMES LESS than the price that Falcon charged me!!!! The replacement took an additional 5 minutes to replace while the tune-up was being wrapped up. I WAS RIPPED OFF by FALCON HVAC! Wasn't I???

Our HVAC and furnace are serviced 2x yearly through Falcon. The technician is courteous and on time. They call ahead before they arrive. Both techs recommended that we add an overflow alarm in case there is water that spills out of the bottom tray. They both recommended my adding vinegar every month to keep it from clogging. So far everything is running smoothly.

Brian was professional, offered help and advice regarding the performance of the heating and conditioning system

The technician, Oliver, did a great job in installing my air scrubber. He was on time and it took him around 30 minutes to install the scrubber. He explained the installation process and how the scrubber works. He is a friendly respectful man and is very good at his job. He performed maintenance service on my Heating and Air Conditioning unit last fall and this spring. I requested the Company to send Oliver for my spring maintenance since he is a good technician.

Prompt, courteous , and lopressure

I am writing in regards to a service/customer service issue at Falcon Heating and Air. I purchased my home in the *** Subdivision on 4/27/2018 Since temperatures were warmed the heat was not used. I had the first opportunity to turn on the Heater on 8/13/2018. The downstairs unit worked but doesn’t heat the suite on the first floor or its bathroom to the suite, they sent Jose and two other techs, Jose told me to shut off the vents in the basement and it will transfer the heat upstairs now I can’t sit in the base because it’s too cold. My next call with Falcon Heating and Air was on 10/15/2018, I was told the system was working fine. I called again on 11/12/2018, the Tech spent some time in the attic and came down and said it should work now, I purchased a space heater the next day. The last time I requested for service was on 1/18/2019. The technician stated he left a tag on the door and I went to see what time and the name of the technician and no tag on the door. He called me and told me he was outside my home for 10 minutes, I told him my appointment was 12 and he went on telling me that he was behind schedule. I called the office and told them what time I left my house and I was put on hold and then told that my window was from 12-4 to align with the technician late arrival.

On 1-18-2019 I scheduled service, gave me a 4-hour window and said they'd call first. No call. Showed up way outside my house at 3:15 pm and the window was 8-12. I called to double check on the appointment and I told the lady on the phone that I had a reminder for myself to not leave before 12:30 and she came back and told me my appointment time was 12- 4. The worst customer service ever, the lady Over the phone was really short with her answers and rude (I think her name is Megan?). They initially contacted the builder and said the builder had to schedule my appointments, the unit heating unit in my house is still not working properly. I was told if I had someone else to look at the system it would void my warranty, so I am sleeping and waking up in a cold house. I'm beginning to believe that the antics of Falcon Heating & Air are criminal at best. I closed on a brand new home recently and Falcon installed what should have been a brand new air conditioning system and furnace. Now I'm not too certain I received a brand new anything. I wake up every morning and have to use a space heater to warm the master suite area. You may ask well my brand-new system is now not heating the half the house which was installed by Falcon and inspected by *** and Falcon.

Falcon Heating & Air Conditioning Response • Jan 25, 2019

Firstly I will apologize for any scheduling confusion that has been had. Falcon does only offer three window appointments (First arrival between 7am-8am, AM arrival between 8am-12pm, and PM arrival between 12pm-4pm). We always try our best to make these arrival times, but if they are not capable of being met due to any reason, we do inform the customer with as much advanced notice as possible. Based on what you have written, it sounds like you are having an issue with both your upper zone system as well as the lower zone system as well. All of Falcon’s installations do have performance standards that have to be met. These are detailed in your builders ***. I will gladly schedule another call for our tech, myself and the *** warranty manager to come to your home and evaluate the system and anything not meeting the builders promised performance standards will be corrected. Please let me know if you would like to proceed forward with scheduling.

Customer Response • Jan 25, 2019

My appointment was 8 to 12 and I didn't get a call to let me know that the tech was behind schedule or running late. I got a phone call from the tech at 3:15 telling me he was outside my house for 20 minutes. I sent Mr. G an email telling him my availability and since this is Revdex.com complaint He is scheduling me during times I am not available that prescribed times

I am rejecting this response because:

Falcon Heating & Air Conditioning Response • Jan 30, 2019

We were able to obtain an appointment on 1/28/19 in the AM. At that appointment all parties (Falcon, ***, and ***) were present. Readings were taken and normal required adjustments were made. Below is the exact same statement emailed to all parties. A formal work ticket and temperature readings sheet detailing everything were also sent with the email.

Good Afternoon,

Upon arriving to evaluate the complaint the homeowner directed the service tech and assistant service manager that his concern was the upper level air temp and specifically the master bathroom being cold. The upper level thermostat set point was satisfied at 73° all rooms were found to be within 2° of this except for the master bath which had a variance of 8° below the thermostat set point. Both *** and ACCA standards allow for a maximum of up to +/-4° variance from the thermostat reading to the actual room temp of the area where in question where the thermostat is not located (i.e. other room). All temps were taken in the center of the room 5’ from the ground. Multiple damper adjustments were made in the attic, as well as vent adjustments in the rooms. After the final adjustments were made all readings including the bathroom fell within the promised temp range. It was noted however that he temperature did drop in the master bath 2° after the system stopped supplying conditioned air into the space. Temperature retention falls outside of Falcon’s contracted work and *** rep was to follow-up with responsible trade for performance verification.

The current system configuration will meet all performance standards with proper adjustments. If however the homeowner would like to upgrade the system to require less manual adjustments, Falcon can offer options to him for a price. *** is free to contact us at any time to discuss the scope of work and what charges he would incur to perform this.

Oliver from Falcon arrived witihin the first hour of the Falcon service timeframe. He installed the humidifier in my home. He was professional and answered questions as he explained how the unit worked. I am Pleased with Falcon and service.

Per my service agreement technician Oliver Mejia conducted a winter maintence service that was the most thorough HVAC inspection and cleaning job i’ve ever had. Mr Mejia is a courteous, efficient and skillful technician.

Mr. Art Millam was the Falcon technician, who made the seasonal preventive maint. check on my HVAC systems. He was very professional, courteous, & informative in that he pointed out several self help things that will enhance the operational functions of my systems, which I very much appreciated.
If he's available, I would strongly recommend that he be requested to service resident's HVAC systems. Mr. Millam is a 5 star guy.

We had service on our 2 heating and air conditioning systems and are completely satisfied that the inspection and cleaning were done properly and completely. The service tech was informative, professional and very polite. The only complaint we have is that he was several hours late for our appointment and I had to call the office for an update.

Very prompt, professional as well as courteous response, very impressed with this company!
