A local manager will respond after we have gathered more information

There was no misrepresentation. The ***s wanted David Weekley Homes to build a home on a lot that David Weekley Homes does not own. The Purchase Agreement was therefore specifically contingent upon the acquisition of the lot (contract attached). An impasse occurred over the cost of options and the ***s notified David Weekley Homes that they would not move forward with the purchase. The contingency (acquisition of the lot) was therefore never achieved and the contract was cancelled. All deposits returned to the ***s. No funds were taken from them; they are free to buy the lot from the current owner and build a home with another builder

According to the closing statement, David Weekley Homes paid for the Owner's Title Policy, in the amount of $1, See attached We will contact the title company to verify that the amount charged to us was credited to the buyer

This is not a customer complaint - however, we are looking into it and will resolve directly with the vendor

A local representative has been assigned to respond to the claim Since all BB complaints come through Houston, the customer would get a faster response by contacting the *** Division at ***

A local manager hs been asked to address the issue with the customer

Your complaint was sent to our office in Houston We have forwarded to an Atlanta area manager to contact you in an effort to resolve the issues

[redacted] has met with the customer.  The customer is once again encouraged to communicate with our local manager.   He has the capacity to address the issues.

This was a known issue and should have been disclosed to me before I purchased the home. I will seek legal counsel.

Unfortunately, Revdex.com persists in sending all complaints to the Houston Revdex.com.  Since this complaint came from Minnesota, the complaint is being routed back to our Minneapolis/St. Paul Division office to contact the customer.
