I WILL RECCOMEND FIRST CHOICE CREDIT MANAGEMENT TO ALL OF MY FRIENDS ON FACEBOOK AND IN PERSON

This company has helped me change my life. The customer service representatives are caring and very helpful with every question I have ever asked them through email or phone. I would highly recommend this company for any Debt Consolidation needs.

Frist Choice credit did not help me with my creditors, I pay $612 for three months.
When I cancelled they returned $48,00, said the rest was fees.
I am a senior citizen living on social security, In Feburary of this year I called First Choice to see if they could consolidate three of my creditors. I paid them $612.00 in three months. After I was not updated about what they were doing, I talked to my creditors and was informed they had not paid anything on these accounts, I told them I was cancelling my account and I wanted my money refunded to me as now my accounts are three months past due. First Choice said my payments was put into an account to pay my creditors. I received $48.00 back and was told the rest of my money was their fees. How can this company charge fees for doing nothing? I was not told before about their fees. I want my money back to pay my creditors. This is a bad time we are living in and companies like this should not take advantage of people.

Desired Outcome

I want most of my money back. I can see them charging a small fee but I think I should get more of my money than $48.00. They did not do anything for me. Now they want answer my calls to even talk to me.

In regards to the complaint I filed with your company
Concerning First Choice Credit, I have talked to *** the
Manager and they have refunded almost all my money. She said it was a misunderstanding when I canceled my account with them. I appreciate getting this settled promptly.. Thank You

should have info on solving first case but hear nothing from them
when I call they say they will contact me but have heard nothing.
started program 6 months ago and last month they told me they are in negotiations with first case and I would be called. Now a month later and nothing happening
I will ask for a refund and take care of my debts myself.
They have recieved enough money from me to pay off at least 2 accounts, but nothing is happening.

Desired Outcome

repay what i have paid them less the fees.

Thank you for allowing us to address this complaint. Upon receiving this complaint, we immediately began attempting to contact Mr. by phone and email to get clarification on his concerns so we can properly address them as quickly as possible. As of the date of this response, we have not been successful in reaching him and have not received a response to our voicemails and emails.
After reviewing his account, it appears that everything is going as expected and we have made some great progress in the 5 short months Mr. has been with us (as part of an estimated 21-month program). We are not exactly sure what Mr. concerns are but are more than happy to discuss them. As of the date of this response, Mr. is still an active client on our program, he has not requested to cancel nor has he reached out to us to express any concerns with his program. Since receiving this complaint 1 week ago, we have left several messages and sent several emails with no response.

First Choice Credit Management Company is a good Company to work with.
Everyone that I've worked with at this Company has been extremely kind, professional, knowledgable and accommodating.

Thanks again Daniel, Alyssa and Alana!!!

I used first choice and am debt free, my program lasted 48 months @ $1,022 monthly, total debt of over $76,000. At the end of my 48 month term, I received approx. $7,000 back as a refund of funds left in my account after settling all my debts. I am very happy and strongly recommend First Choice to anyone. I found them very competent, honest and reliable. All I can say is "Thank You First Choice", you are the best and have exceeded my expectations and I've already recommended my friends, family and everyone I know. Rated: positive 10/10 positively....cheers

Wonderful company. Everything that was promised was accomplished. Good communication and notifications. Highly recommend.

Had a great experience. Everyone was helpful. When I needed to change
my payment date, had no problem doing that.

First Choice is a wonderful organization. My wife had run up our credit cards while seeing me through cancer treatment. We're both on social security, and when I was healthy, we quickly realized our fixed income was never going to get us out of debt. We were lost and scared. We didn't want to leave our family with our mess. We spoke to a Bankruptcy lawyer and that wasn't for us. My wife's sister had used First Choice, so we called. We liked their A rating with the Revdex.com, and everyone we spoke with truly wanted to help us, we were unique people more then we were "customers". After enrolling with Susan we ended up speaking with Daniel. And he made it straight forward, we make our payments for the period outlined in our contract and leave the rest to them. To our surprise we end up completing our program 5 months early and we received a large refund check to boot. If you need help, look no further.

I was talked into enrolling into a debt settlement program. When talking with another financial services professional, I determined that the debt settlement program was not for me. I tried to cancel the program, but they would not pick up the phone, answer my emails, or call me back after I had left multiple messages.

I signed up for this service and after seeing that they did not do what they offered I tried to get a refund and underpaid me back
After signing up with them and their services, I called and cancelled my account, they took $630, and only refunded me $180, saying that the other $450 was charged for fees. But, they never did anything that would constitute fees. I signed up with them on 11/19/19 and cancelled them on 12/18/19, in that time nothing was done, I spoke with *** trying to cancel in which he tried to get me to stay...he finally sent me the letter of cancellation on 12/26/19 and said my refund would be to me in 7-10 business days

Desired Outcome

I can see me paying maybe the fee of $180 but to pay $450 in less than a months time for a service that was not rendered is excessive.

We spoke with Ms. Brown regarding her concerns and apologized for not handling her initial request properly. We've made changes internally to ensure this doesn't happen again. We believe we have resolved this matter to Ms. Browns satisfaction.

(The consumer indicated he/she ACCEPTED the response from the business.)
Spoke with the representative and I feel comfortable with the outcome. I thank them for their prompt response in handling this issue

Was there when I was in over my head.
They explained the process very detailed, and updated me through the entire process

I would like to thank the staff of First Choice for being so helpful in helping me make decisions that I was totally lost on. A special thank you to Daniel F. Hey if you reading this. Don't hesitate call them and Trust them. They are good people. Thank You Again!

I recommend First Choice Credit Management for your debt consolidation needs. Being debt free for the first time in ages without having to file bankruptcy is pretty amazing.

I signed an agreement with First Choice Credit Management LLC in March to settle my 2 credit accounts. 1 has now filed suit.
After signing an agreement with First Choice Credit Management LLC, including a power of attorney, I was told that attempts to collect would diminish after First Choice contacted them and I should not answer the collection attempts and forward all correspondence to First Choice. They settled my account with Care Credit, however, payments are ongoing and that account is not yet paid off. I have since received a letter from the other creditor, Capital One. They have requested a telephone hearing. First Choice says that they will not attend the hearing as it's not necessary since I'm not disputing that it's my debt. They indicated that there was not enough money in my account to offer a settlement and I would need to come up with a lump sum. Since I will be receiving a small bonus this month, I requested a payoff quote (as the settlement for the Care Credit account was 50% of what I owed.) According to *** the negotiator quoted her $2,800, which is more than what I owed on that account in March. They claim that they cannot settle for less now that it's "gone to legal" and cannot provide a reason that cannot contact Capital One to try to mitigate. I feel that they did not make a good faith effort to reach a settlement prior to this occurring and that they are not making a good faith effort to reach a settlement now.

Desired Outcome

I would like First Choice Credit Management to contact Capital One to request a settlement amount and provide to Capital One a summary of their advice and their actions since March on my behalf, and to provide to me a plan for paying off both accounts within the length of time and for the monthly amounts outline in my agreement. *** my account creator, indicates that her manager's name is ***. They should have copies of my agreement and the summons on file.

Customer Response • Nov 19, 2019

I received the amount of fees due should I cancel the agreement and a recommendation to accept the settlement offered. I have notified FCCM that I will accept the settlement and make monthly payments in addition to the amount outlined in the agreement. The agreement will now cover only the first creditor and not the second for the original amount of the agreement.

Thoroughly professional in providing sound advice and guidance. Account managers were courteous and sincere in providing exceptional service.

I was a client of First Choice and I want to thank them for doing a great job and being an ethical company. I had misgivings about debt settlement and they were entirely wrong. First Choice did q wonderful job helping me get out of debt. They told me to make my payment for a set number of months and I would be out of debt. THAT IS EXACTLY WHAT HAPPENED. I want to thank Daniel F. who talked me off the ledge more then once. If your serious about getting out of debt, call them, you have nothing to lose.
