SCAMMERS - preying on the new business owners and trying to look as if they are a government agency.

Zero stars. This organization obtains data from government postings for businesses. Their urgent notice is bogus. They are NOT an agency of the State of Florida. They are a SCAM. Do not send them money.

I have to ask, why are businesses like these are obviously trying to defraud people allowed to stay open and not being prosecuted?

Deceptive Invoice. Stated that I needed to make payment to them to obtain my Certificate of Status for my LLC filing. They misrepresented themselves. Certificate of Status is obtained through Sunbiz.org for $5

STOP SCAM -Due date is to close to assigned date scam artist trying to create a sense of urgency and with recent Hurricane Michael FL State has a log jam and is requesting time extensions for new Corps. Had me concerned but "This is not a government agency (small letters)" got me out. Don't fall for it read the small print.

I, too, received an official letter asking for $67.25. I remember when I filed for my LLC that there was a warning on the State of Florida website about this. Sure enough, I received this letter. Thanks to the warning, I am very careful and I now take my time responding to emails and written communication. It's so easy to get caught up in quickly handling the endless paperwork that seems to come a person's way when opening a new business.

Thank you for info, I received the same letter. I ask, Who obtein our info to send us these letter, is a fraud?

This is a scam. You can order your certificate of status directly from the State of FL without paying this fly-by-night to order it for you.

I recently filed for a new business in the state of Florida and on the same day a letter was generated from FL Certificate of Services stating I must respond by 7/10/2018 with a check enclosed for $67.25. The letter seemed legit, had a nice looking seal, very formal and official in appearance. I checked the mailing address 3122 Mahan Dr Ste 801-267 Tallahassee, FL 32308 and it is a UPS store. I tried calling the phone number provided from the letter 855-755-3357 and it goes no where. My phone maintained calling status as if it was waiting to call out, it didn't even ring and I tried multiple times.
I am glad I checked here to see others had received the same letter.
100% scam!

I recently created and set up a Florida LLC. This entity sent me a bill saying "you have one step left in order to attain your elective Florida Certificate of Status." It further said "A florida Certificate of Status is issued by the Secretary of State and may be required for loans, to renew business licenses, or for tax or other purposes." I thought this was something I was required to do in order to be an operational LLC in the State of Florida. The bill was for $61.25. I subsequently learned this is a scam, so I stopped payment on the check prior to it being cashed, which cost me $30.

I would like to report this entity as a scam and would hope perhaps to receive my $30 back for the stop payment fee?

I received a notice from this company and could tell is was a scam. You do not need to pay this company to receive anything on your company. Get it directly from the Secretary of State.

I got a letter from this company after incorporating my company asking for 61.25$ for my certificate of status. They made the letter look like a government letter, when in fact this company is NO WAY AFFILIATED WITH THE GOVERNMENT and is A SCAM.
Once you have filed there is no additional payment letter sent from the Florida government.

I got the same request for $ but checked Revdex.com first and saved the $61

Received deceiving letter after filing for a new *** business. The letter appears to be required to complete the process of my business filing when it is just a scam. I sent a check for $61.25 to the address listed as I though it was AN OFFICIAL LETTER FROM THE STATE OF . The fact that this business is still operating this scam, online searches show this has been a known scam for years is outrageous. What I received in the mall was the worst blurry in-even printing of a copy of my filing that I have already paid for. It is so upsetting to think of the amount of money they are collecting with this scam. Will be contacting *** advise and the local news stations if I am not refunded my money.
