I feel compelled to write this about a home improvement product that actually saves me a fortune on my energy bills Sunlight Contractors is a very professional company to work withThe crew was on time and cleaned up very well after they were finishedI had attic and subfloor insulation installedI've had my spray foam for close to three years nowThe difference I see in my energy bill is unbelievableLast year during the summer months, prior to the install, my bill was right around $dollarsThis year I did not pay over $in the hottest part of the summerMy air condition runs so much less because my home holds the cool airAnd during the winter, my home stays warm, and my floors aren't ice coldThe comfort in my home is a difference between night and dayI would highly recommend this company!

Always 5-Star Service Sunlight Contractors are an AWESOME crew They provided excellent service spraying the foam in my attic about yrsago saving me a ton in utility costsI'm selling my home to move out of state and had an inspector hit me for having foam covering the ducts in the attic causing condensation that could cause moldI called Ira at sunlight and he immediately addressed the situation providing documentation for the inspector proving that it's installed correctly and he also came over the next day with a full crew to evaluate the situation including an AC guy to check my system and guys that checked for mold who removed a lot of the old insulation which was causing the condensation problem If you want thorough go with these guys, they're friendly, courteous, and very professional
Sunlight Contractors went outside of box and used their closed cell spray foam to help me create a floating dock system Tulane University's rowing team needed a dock that was close to the water to allow an easy launch and retrieval of their boatsI designed a plan and Sunlight Contractors came to my location and sprayed 6" of closed cell spray foam to the underneath of platformOver a year later, the dock is floating just as it did on day one, 6" on top of the water! Tulane's crew coach told me it's the nicest dock system they've used! He then went on to say it's nicer than Harvard's floating dock system, it's super easy for the launch and retrieval of their boats!

Sunlight is starting on our insulation project tomorrow We were referred to Ira by our A/C company, as they share some of the same clients, and everyone always spoke highly of them I called Sunlight to inquire about their services, and Ira could not have been more helpful He spent over minutes explaining to me the different types of insulation, and also the benefits we would see from the spray foam We discussed all of the AC problems we were having with condensation, and Ira described in great detail how each of the problems would be perfectly resolved with spray foam in the attic He further sent me industry information about spray foam, including detailed videos and written distributions, which helped provide me with the data I needed to make the informed decision about what to do, and who would do it Then, his employees came by the very next day to make a very thorough inspection They were on time, clean, respectful, thorough, and took the time to look over everything so they had as much information as possible to make the best recommendation This sealed the deal, and we arranged for the installation dates that very same day We are very excited, and cannot wait to provide an update after the install is finished! Sunlight Contractors did an excellent job with our home. We had our 100 year old floors (elevated bare planks, no sub-floor) insulated with closed cell spray foam just a day before a deep freeze in New Orleans. Despite the frigid temperatures outside, our normally drafty and cold home was considerably warmer and more comfortable than prior to the work. Using an infrared camera, a few minor spots of cold intrusion in our floors were noticed. Ira and his team were very quick to come out and add further insulation in each of these spots. They made sure we were 100% satisfied and were very easy to work with and communicate with. Now our heating system is turning on much less frequently, our floors are warm, our house is not drafty, and our historic flooring is well protected from moisture. We are very happy we went with Sunlight Contractors for this job.

Alan Carr with Dr.Energy Saver Home Services gave us a proposal to spray foam on the roof and walls of our attic. We did our due diligence and received two other estimates. Alan’s proposal was the least expensive and he seems to be more knowledgeable about the product than the other two companies sales representatives. So we decided to go with Dr. Energy Saver. The team installing the foam were very professional. After installation we noticed an immediate improvement in the house environment and our air conditioner not running as much. The temperature in the attic has never gone beyond 80 degrees in the hottest part of the summer and not lower than 65 degrees in the winter months. We are 100% satisfy.
