Sunlight Contractors are an AWESOME crew They provided excellent service spraying the foam in my attic about yrsago saving me a ton in utility costsI'm selling my home to move out of state and had an inspector hit me for having foam covering the ducts in the attic causing condensation that could cause moldI called Ira at sunlight and he immediately addressed the situation providing documentation for the inspector proving that it's installed correctly and he also came over the next day with a full crew to evaluate the situation including an AC guy to check my system and guys that checked for mold who removed a lot of the old insulation which was causing the condensation problem If you want thorough go with these guys, they're friendly, courteous, and very professional

At first, the price seemed highBut even still, Mr Ira explained many things and communicated with me often during my searchI decided to go with another company and still have the contract to show anyone else considering foam installationI had always like how MrIra explained things so I figured I'd approach him with this quote from the other WontServ company to see if he would match the priceHe Would nothe also explained whyWith the other company, the attic was going to be only 3" (which after doing further research on my end) wouldn't have much of an effect in Louisiana compared to the inches SunLight doesWontServ also didn't tell me they would NOT be doing any airflow readings before and after the job so I can see myself the difference madeThey maybe licensed to do the work but that's a legal starting point for themSunLight has multiple certifications not just a basic licenseI choose to pay a little more and have it done rightI paid 40,in upgrades to my home where I should have paid 25,I finally learned to get a job done right the first time
His cost is a steal as the other company would have not had enough r-value in the home making it a waste of thousandsI work in the medical industry and I know something about airflow in operating rooms, SunLight measured my airflow which is the whole point of a tightly sealed non-sick houseWontServ will not do thatI have the contract with them and the emails to showAlso anyone is welcome to see my attic that is thinkig about spending this kind of money

I contracted Sunlight to help me remedy the moisture problems at my home in Metairie; subfloor moisture was warping my hardwood floors and would have ultimately eaten my home from underneath if I hadn't dealt with it Sunlight came in and assessed the problems, helped me plan for the best method to deal with it permanently, and made it easy to trust them - all while I'm stationed across the country with the military These guys are true pro's and I'd go with them again anyday

Sunlight is starting on our insulation project tomorrow We were referred to Ira by our A/C company, as they share some of the same clients, and everyone always spoke highly of them I called Sunlight to inquire about their services, and Ira could not have been more helpful He spent over minutes explaining to me the different types of insulation, and also the benefits we would see from the spray foam We discussed all of the AC problems we were having with condensation, and Ira described in great detail how each of the problems would be perfectly resolved with spray foam in the attic He further sent me industry information about spray foam, including detailed videos and written distributions, which helped provide me with the data I needed to make the informed decision about what to do, and who would do it Then, his employees came by the very next day to make a very thorough inspection They were on time, clean, respectful, thorough, and took the time to look over everything so they had as much information as possible to make the best recommendation This sealed the deal, and we arranged for the installation dates that very same day We are very excited, and cannot wait to provide an update after the install is finished!
