Review: I ordered a lion Zuca bag that was advertised as complete. That is what I expected to receive. What I got was just the bag. Nowhere in the ad did it say bag ONLY. In fact the lengthy description describes the complete Zuca, not the insert only. And the stated shipping weight of 22 pounds also indicates a complete Zuca - not a 1.5 pound insert.

I called and spoke with someone who said they could not do anything except offer a return. I requested to speak with a manager, and she (the manager) instantly asked me to hold, then transferred me to a message machine so I was disconnected. I called back, and the second rep put me thru to her again, but she didn't pick up. I guess she thought disconnecting was more honest than just saying, "I'm out the door." Because a few minutes later I was informed that customer service is closed.

I don't want to return it, I want what was advertised and what I ordered. Why should I be out the money for several weeks because of your erroneous advertising? Most companies honor what was advertised or shown. I would like to be sent the shown and described frame to complete the bag.

Also on the Focus Camera website (but proving not true):

"Customer Service is our #1 priority. We make customers; not just sales. Our customers are our investment. "Treat every customer as if they sign your paycheck...because they do." This has been our credo, and it is for this reason that many of our orders are from repeat customers."

I have copied the page with a date stamp in case they change it to describe what was actually sent, in order to "prove" that I misread it.

Again, I just want what was advertised and what I ordered.Desired Settlement: I want what was clearly described and advertised - a complete Zuca bag and frame. I want what I purchased from the advertisement. I want them to send me the frame that goes with the bag.

The picture shows the frame and in the description states information about that frame. The title off of the [redacted] listing clearly states: ZUCA New Sport Insert Bag Leo the Lion, nowhere does it state that he frame will be delivered with the insert. When [redacted] contacted us informed her of this. Started yelling and screaming wanting the frame. This is not what she paid for and its not what she will get from us at this time. We will be happy to give her a discount if she would like to buy the frame. [redacted] has been emailed return instructions and a return label to return the item, if she would like.Please consider this matter closed.Thank you

That's funny that I "screamed and yelled" because I spoke to only one person who forwarded me to a manager, who never spoke with me. I was always forwarded to a machine. All relevant correspondence has been through email. I find it hard to believe that they think I scream through an email. I will gladly publish any and all email correspondence. They are the ones who insulted me through email by basically saying I was [redacted] because I couldn't possibly think I was getting the whole unit. Followed by a sentence where they admitted their advertising error and are now going to fix it. So I was supposed to know what they meant to advertise, rather than what was written. Futrue consumers:If you have any doubt about a product you are considering to purchase from Focus Camera, I strongly suggest that you be sure of what you are getting, or buy elsewhere. This is not a company you want to deal with if you are dissatisfied.

Review: I ordered a Bushnell Scout 1000 Arc Laser Range Finder on 9/*/13 at 13:23 EDT from Focus Camera. The company's web site stated that the product was "In Stock Ships Today". My credit card account was immediately billed for the purchase. Focus Camera sent me an e-mail on 9/*/13 stating that my range finder was "shipped and completed". This e-mail had no tracking # which it was supposed to have. My product did not arrive until 9/**/13 and the mailing label clearly indicated that it was not shipped until 9/**/13. Focus Camera clearly lies about product availability on their web site. Unethically bills customers accounts before it ships products purchased. And lies about their process for customers to track the status of their purchased product's delivery status.Desired Settlement: I want a 20% discount on the purchase price of the range finder to be credited to my credit card account immediately or I will continue to pursue this matter with my bank. I would also like the Revdex.com to inform all of Focus Camera's future potential customers of their unethical billing practices.

On the order you will find the tracking #, which can be tracked at UPS.com. I have included that as well.

Clearly the tracking # shows that the package left our facility on 9/* as you should know that Sunday is not a shipping day.

On 9/*, we were closed due to the Jewish Holiday, the website reflected that information. We returned to work on Sunday 9/*, at that time the order shipped. I do apologies the tracking information was not included in the email, there was a problem with the system at that time. We are working on fixing that.

Focus Camera has been in business for over 40 yea rs. We do not need to lie nor do we need to keep your money. If you do not read what is on the website before you place an order you should nottalk nonsense.

We will not honor a 20% discount as you are requesting. This matter is considered closed.

Review: Placed order with [redacted] is a part of Focus Camera) on May *, 2015. Within 30 minutes of placement of order, called to cancel order. Was not able to get through to Customer Service, so tried Sales. Was not able to get through to a live Sales person, but was rather taken to a voicemail for a Sales Manager. I left a voice-message with this Sales Manager, requesting cancellation of the order (#[redacted]). I also sent an email to [redacted], requesting cancellation, but received notice that the email failed to deliver due to "No such domain at this location." I then sent in a cancellation request via their online contact form.

I received no replies from them until AFTER the order was presumably prepared for mailing on May *. I then was informed by email that it was too late to cancel the order. A return would have to be paid for by me, which would effectively negate any refund.

Given the difficulty of getting in touch with anyone at their Customer Service and their recalcitrance in dealing with my cancellation request, it seems rather obvious that their operations are designed to deter cancellations, even one, such as mine, first requested within 30 minutes of placement of order, when clearly there should have been ample time for them to be able to cancel the order before any shipment.

As this is an order which should have been cancelled to begin with, [redacted]/Focus Camera should provide a full refund, as well as assuming responsibility for return shipping.Desired Settlement: Refund and [redacted]/Focus Camera's payment of return shipping

The issue isn't simply "returning for a refund," especially with my having to pay for the return-shipping, given the unacceptable "customer service." It is that it should never have needed to be returned in the first place, as more than reasonable efforts were made (and required) to try to cancel the order, in a more than timely manner beforehand. Moreover, it is so virtually impossible to contact a live person, as it is impossible to receive a phone-call back from a live person (two messages left, one with a Sales Manager because I couldn't get through to Customer Service, and then one with a Customer Service Supervisor, both requesting call-backs which were roundly ignored), that, at least from my experience, it effectively makes any attempts at cancellation of an order ones entirely in futility.What the business should do is 1) provide a return shipping label, rightfullly covering the return-shipping, given the utterly ineffective "customer service," as well as 2) provide a full refund of the original sale amount.

Negative! This company listed a printer on the [redacted] website. I ordered a Canon printer for 429 dollars. I tried to cancel the order but they wouldn't let ne. When it came by [redacted] I refused it. They charged me 82 dollars for shipping to Arizona after advertising it as free shipping!! Even [redacted] was unable to help me!

Don't order anything from this company, very lousy customer service.
