The emails that were sent out regarding people winning free *** tablets was in fact not sent out by our company, as the email address that sent out the emails was from a company called FGFinder, which has no relation to our companyThey used our company name in their email without our
authorizationWe were never involved in any kind of contest to give away any form of tablet or smartphoneWe have sent emails to those affected by this scam to inform them that we had nothing to do with it, and that we would not be honoring the claims, with our apologiesWe also posted a notice on our website warning other respondents who may have seen these emails or heard about them that this was in fact not a legitimate contest and to please ignore this information

I am rejecting this response because: The offer is not acceptable, nor is the responseFocus Pointe Global is well aware that it was not just myself but ALL of the people who were present at the time of payment on December 7, 2017, that agreed we were recruited with the terms that only those who were chosen for the second part would take the insoles home and return the following weekThe confirmation email even states this, but more than the confirmation email everyone recruited had the same understanding and agreementThe response and disingenuous offer shows that the company has no integrity or respect for peopleBefore the first day of the study, I never met any of the people in the group, yet everyone was recruited with the same terms and agreement, as myselfThe email that the Focus Pointe Global keeps referring to, supports the fact that I and the others were to be paid $The individual responding to this email was NOT the individual who recruited me and the others and was NOT present when the agreement and contract was agreed upon, during recruitment, so therefore they are basing their response on hearsay and are biased, because they are trying to cover up for the mistake of their companyAs the email states, "If you participate in the Focus group on November 29, you will receive product to use for a week and bring back to your second visit on December 7. For your time and participation in the study, you will be paid $for participating" What I was told on the phone supports the quoted phrase from the emailONLY those who are chosen to test out the product will be GIVEN product to use for a week and return the following weekAgain, the condition was metI participated in two groups or two different days, took the product home to test for a weekIf there was another separate focus group outside of the two days and groups that I participated in, it was not mentioned or agreed upon during the recruitment process with myself nor the others of the groupThe two groups that we were accepted to participate in, as well as taking the product home to test for a week, were all the stipulations, conditions and qualifications that were agreed to and met, based on the contract and agreement made during recruitment, that entitles me and others to the $agreed toThe payment listed in the confirmation letter was CONDITIONAL, not finalThe FINAL amount was determined during the first day, when I and others were CHOSEN (" If you participate in the Focus group on November 29, you will receive product to use for a week and bring back to your second visit on December 7. For your time and participation in the study, you will be paid $350." If I didn't participate in the group, then I wouldn't have been given product to use for a week and return the following week." Again, Focus Pointe Global is playing naive and know that there were a large group of angry participants who were not paid the amount agreed toThey are disgraceful in their attempt to deflect blame and not take responsibilityI will only accept the $that is owed to me in the form of a check or visa check card that can used at an atmFocus Pointe Global has wasted my time with their games and deflectionIt's time they take responsibility and pay the amount owed to me

I am sorry that *** *** has had a negative experience with our CompanyWe strive to provide excellent customer service for our participantsWe are a reputable marketing research company in business since We conduct thousands of studies a year involving many thousand of participating panel
members. studyDue to the respondent being very upset and verbally aggressive with the representative, she was sent over to one of our supervisors, Connie in this case, but she was faced with the same problem, in that just having a description of a topic was not enough information for the supervisor to give the respondent an immediate responseTo find out this information for the respondent, it would have taken research by our online support staff in order to find out exactly what study was being referred to, but the respondent was not patient enough for us to properly sort out this issueWe are more than happy to fully research the study in question. An email was sent to *** *** *** from my company email at approximately 3:pm, with an apology for any delay in having his issue addressed, and the current status of the incentive that he had requested from his online account with Focus Pointe GlobalHis incentive request had been received
by our company, and an email with information on how to access his incentive was sent to him on 10/10/I outlined for *** *** the content of the email that was sent out to him previously, informed him of when it had been sent before, and then I resent him another copy of the email, so that he would be able to access his incentiveI closed my communication by asking him to please let me know if there was anything further that I could do to assist him, and informed him that I would be responding to his complaint on this site with my resolution.

Unfortunately, not everyone who registers to participate qualifies

particular study, with quotas being established for the needed demographics
Depending on the requirements for a particular study, a panelist may not pass
the screening processAdditionally, a client may request that a participant be excluded for a study based on their inability to articulate well, if they do not offer anything to the group by way of their opinions, or if they are disruptive in any way.

We had recruited *** *** for an interview based on her qualifications as a Critical Care Nurse in MarchThis interview's topic was Liver DiseaseWhen the first interview was set to take place, she did not attendThe interview was arranged so that the respondent, *** ***, was provided with a
phone number to dial at her assigned time, which would bring her into contact with the person set to interview herShe did not call in at her scheduled timeAs we understand that errors can happen, we rescheduled her for a second interview, but she did not dial in this time eitherThe fact that she did not call into her interview on either occasion was verified by our client who was conducting the interviewAs she did not complete her part in this study, despite being given two opportunities to do so, she was not entitled to paymentShe began to call our office repeatedly, insisting that she deserved payment for putting aside the time for the interviews, and insisted that she completed the interviewAs we began to research her profile, it was discovered that she had three separate profiles, with different phone numbers and email addressesWe then began to research her online, to verify that she was indeed a Critical Care Nurse as she claimed to be, but all we were able to find, according to her *** profile, and other online profiles under her name, that she is a free-lance writer, among other thingsThere is no evidence that she is a nurse, as she claimed to be, which would mean that she was dishonest in her attempts to get into our studyShe was not able to provide any proof to us that she was indeed a Critical Care Nurse, and in light of the fact that our client verified that she did not participate in her scheduled interviews, we saw no reason to remit payment to her.

Focus Pointe Global posts available studies on our website, focusgroup.com. Our participants may choose a study that they are interested in, and are then presented with an online screener that determines whether they are eligible for that particular research study. The people that qualify for the...

study must match the demographics that our client requires for the study. Each study has a set of "quotas" associated with it, and as the quotas fill up we no longer need people that fall into that quota. This can happen very quickly.  In the case of the study the complainant is referring to, there was a quota set for a certain number of men, and for a certain number of women. The requirement for women filled up very quickly, meeting the requirement for women.We make adjustments to the study description as soon as possible when a major quota is filled, but there is always some overlap in time between when a quota is filled and when the description on the website is changed to reflect this.  There is no intent of deception or "false advertising." It is simply a matter of timing.
