I have just been made aware of the difficulty you have been having with our company regarding your payment for the homework you submitted. Most of the time we get things right, but occasionally we do not! After reviewing all of the communication via email, social media, and the Better Business...

Bureau, it is clear that there was a breakdown in communication and follow-through on our part. I am very sorry this chain of events has caused you grief. I will deal with the people who dropped the ball, and am told that you will be paid today. The email will come from service@[redacted].com. If you do not receive payment today, please email me back immediately.I am also going to send you a $25 [redacted] e-card as a gesture of how sorry I am about all of this. Focus Pointe Global has a clear Privacy Policy,

Members of our panel are urged to familiarize themselves with these documents as they are designed
to address all questions regarding membership and participation in our
marketing research projects.
Our policies are designed to protect the panel member,
and Focus Pointe Global, the hosting company. 
Upon registration, those who are signing up to participate are required to confirm that they have accepted our
Terms of Use.
Unfortunately, not everyone who registers to participate qualifies
for our research projects. Our clients dictate the parameters needed for a
particular study, with quotas being established for the needed demographics.
Depending on the requirements for a particular study, a panelist may not pass
the screening process. Additionally, a client may request that a participant be excluded for a study based on their inability to articulate well, if they do not offer anything to the group by way of their opinions, or if they are disruptive in any way. 
Additionally, there are times when a client changes the
parameters of a research project mid-way through the recruiting process. This
can impact people who have already been scheduled for the project but are no
longer needed for participation as the quota requirements have changed.
It is not part of our policy, nor are we under any
obligation, to provide a detailed explanation as to why a participant may not
meet the criteria needed for our research studies. Please be assured that Focus
Pointe Global never denies participation due to race, ethnicity, disability,
country of origin, religion, or sexual orientation.
We are sorry that [redacted] feels that she was treated unfairly, however, we must conduct our business according to our policies, which are available for all to examine by visiting our website.

Upon review of the complaint and by discussing with all parties involved, we have determined that Ms. [redacted] should have been paid for the homework that she submitted. We are mailing a pre-paid [redacted] debit card in the amount of $50 to her, today, July 28, 2015. I have contacted Ms. [redacted] by email...

(attached) to let her know that her payment is in transit.

Focus Pointe Global makes every effort to communicate with our panel members in a clear manner, and we never have the intent to cause distress or inconvenience. We are a legitimate, reputable company and have been conducting marketing research for 27 years. 
The Confirmation letter...

that was sent to Ms. [redacted] on 4/27 states that payment takes 4-6 weeks to process. This is why she did not receive the payment email right away. I have attached the Confirmation letter.  The payment email will be sent to Ms. [redacted] on Monday 5/16. We apologize for any miscommunication.

Focus Pointe Global has no further response on this complaint, as we have already stated our position.

We have removed all or your records from our panel. You should no longer be receiving any communication from us. Hopefully this matter has been resolved. We certainly do not want to contact anyone who does not wish to participate in our studies. We are sorry for any inconvenience. Thank you.

[redacted] has complained numerous times over several years, going back to 2012, including but not limited to the Revdex.com. Focus Pointe Global requires that all participants agree to our Terms of Use, which clearly states that your membership can be terminated if you have created more than one profile,...

and if a client determines that you are not a good fit for any reason. [redacted] has been a disruptive force to our company for years, and we have talked with her many times to address her complaints of not being selected to participate in studies with us. We do not discriminate based on race, national origin, gender, religion, or sexual orientation, but we do have the discretion of choosing our participants based on many factors. Our Terms of Use and Privacy Policy are clearly posted on our website, focusgroup.com.Termination of MembershipYou agree and acknowledge that we shall have the right to immediately terminate your membership if we determine that: (i) you have violated any of the restrictions in this Agreement; (ii) you have provided us with any false information; (iii) you have not completed all surveys truthfully and accurately; (iv) you have failed to safeguard your username and password; (v) you have been deemed disruptive and/or non-responsive while participating in an research group or individual interview; (vi) a Focus Pointe Global client has indicated that you are not a suitable candidate for their research group, or (vii) you have allowed a third party to use your username and password or have otherwise facilitated a third party’s completion of a survey on your behalf. There are many other research companies who do consumer studies, and perhaps [redacted] could concentrate her efforts there.

I am copying your previous message here to show that you did indeed say to deactivate your account:I am rejecting this response bcauses there nothing states policy . We can no longer have a consumer work with us no reason and I did completely research assignment why else ask ne back to complete another researcher. The Isaiah B[redacted] digression why could be that made complaint against in employee work at there call center because they didn't leave a message. I feel retaliatin against me for no reason. I would just like my account deactivated.Your account has been deactivated and you will no longer be eligible to participate in Focus Pointe Global's studies.

[redacted]  I was told by employee  at call center directed create  another profile if had problems with login . I don't  have  knowledge of another profile , and  if there another  profile  [redacted] given  okay  by focus  global pointe  employee at call center.  Also how again  can be disruptive  when go to focus study you sit there wait until your turn  for the moderators  ask you questions.  I talk location  [redacted] and was told see you have nothing wrong profile and. Your welcome  to complete  study and see qualify  to complete  atudyvwe have posted

I am rejecting this response because I never said to deactivate my account. If there a note stating that not correct. I said like my account reactivatated. My account to be turn back on to start receiving focus group jobs again.

This website is a scam. I know for a fact they've sold off my information or at least access to my information(in other words, my information), not to mention they will email you constantly with "paid" survey "opportunities", in which you will spend about 10-80 minutes answering questions, the first half to see if you qualify to take the survey, then the second half being the actual survery, then rather than pay you, they will just throw up a " sorry your answers don't qualify you" message at what appears to be midway through the survey, but I'd actually the end of the survey as you've already answered and given them all of the data they needed to sell or fulfill a contract with an unsuspecting company.
Obviously they have no intention of ever paying out anything to anyone when there isn't even a way to check how many credits you've earned(presumably because you will never actually earn any). Point is, they use incredibly shady practices to get out of paying you anything for the information they will then harvest and sell off.

To Whom It May Concern,When this respondent called in, she did not have the specific project number for this study, only a description of the topic that she had seen from our website. Unfortunately, that was not enough information for the representative to go on in order to find out more about...

the study. Due to the respondent being very upset and verbally aggressive with the representative, she was sent over to one of our supervisors, Connie in this case, but she was faced with the same problem, in that just having a description of a topic was not enough information for the supervisor to give the respondent an immediate response. To find out this information for the respondent, it would have taken research by our online support staff in order to find out exactly what study was being referred to, but the respondent was not patient enough for us to properly sort out this issue. We are more than happy to fully research the study in question.
