Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me.
Regards,
[redacted]

Upon review of the complaint and by discussing with all parties involved, we have determined that Ms. [redacted] should have been paid for the homework that she submitted. We are mailing a pre-paid [redacted] debit card in the amount of $50 to her, today, July 28, 2015. I have contacted Ms. [redacted] by email...

(attached) to let her know that her payment is in transit.Hopefully this matter can now be considered resolved. Thank you.Charlotte D[redacted]Director of MarketingFocus Pointe Global[redacted]

Complaint ID:[redacted]Filed with:Revdex.com1411 K St. NW, 10th FloorWashington, DC 20005-3404Phone:202.393.8000Fax:202.393.1198Email:[email protected]:http:... Filed:12/30/2016Hi,I received a phone call from Focus Pointe Global today. They told me to check my email, I did, and I was given an e-rewards credit of $50. This confuses me because when I did the study I was told I would get real currency (actual dollars) either in the form of a prepaid card in the mail or via an email with a link to use the money at any online retailer.Honestly, I find this unacceptable that there was such a gross miscommunication. I think it's lucky that I actually have an account with the site in which they gave me a credit for. Otherwise, I would want to further pursue this.I believe that because of the communication from you to the business that's why they finally contacted me. I would like to consider this matter resolved at this time and moving forward, if I ever participate in something like this again, I will make sure there's a clear understanding regarding payment. I appreciate Revdex.com so much for the action it has taken on my behalf. Please let me know if there is any further action I need to take to close out this complaint.Thank you

 Complaint: [redacted]
I am rejecting this response because: I did read the terms and agreement but once I was contacted by the company the representative clearly asked me to be apart of this particular study and I have 2 voicemails stating so. After I asked to speak with someone about the matter the told me their reps used the wrong words. I expressed that if 2 different reps said the same thing s to me Then maybe they are getting rhe wrong training. No one has offer to compensate me for any of the surveys I had taken. They leep sending me surveys then once im finish ed through taking it suddenly I do not qualify. I think this is a scam office

Focus Pointe Global sometimes puts people into a "hold" status if the quota they fit into has already been filled. If someone is unable to participate, we then call upon the person who is "on hold." According to our records, [redacted] was never sent a Confirmation email. She was, however, called...

and sent an email to let her know of her "hold" status. This is not a promise to participate, it simply means that we will get back in touch with you if you are needed. We do not pay people who are on hold but are not chosen to actually participate. The email that was sent to [redacted] includedthe text below:Dear [redacted],This email is to inform you that you have been placed on Hold for the upcoming research study which you were scheduled for. This means that you have fallen into a quota which has already been filled, and we do not currently have an opening for you in this group. Please be advised that you are not eligible to attend this group, however we have placed you on a waiting list, and will certainly contact you to reschedule your appointment should an opening become available. If an opening does not become available, we will definitely keep your information in our database for future studies. We apologize for any inconvenience.Thank you.Sincerely,Focus Pointe Global

Review: I HAD A COMPLAINT FILED TWO WEEKS AGO THAT CLOSED. I WAS TOLD THAT I SAID I DID NOT WANT ANYTHING DONE ABOUT THE SITUATION WHICH IS AN OUTRIGHT LIE. NOBODY SENT ME ANYTHING EXCEPT SAYING THE CASE WAS CLOSED DUE TO ME NOT WANTING TO PURSUE. I WILL HAVE TO TAKE IT A STEP FURTHER SHOULD THIS CASE SUDDENLY CLOSE SAYING I ONLY WANTED AN OUTCOME WHICH WOULD BE TO INFORM THE PUBLIC. I WILL BE FORCED TO THE NEXT LEVEL OF CONSUMER PROTECTION WITH THE U.S. Revdex.com OR OTHERWISE. FOCUS POINTE GLOBAL DID NOT ADHERE TO A CONTRACT. I WAS NOT AN EMPLOYEE . WE HAD A CONTRACT FOR A SERVICE I PROVIDED. THEY LOST MY INFORMATION AND DECIDED THEY WOULD NOT PAY ME. SAYING THAT THE MARKETER COULD NOT FIND MY MARKETING SURVEY. THEY OWE ME THREE HUNDRED DOLLARS FOR MY TIME. I WENT TO THE Revdex.com BECAUSE AS I UNDERSTAND THAT IS WHAT YOU ARE FOR...WHEN COMPANIES ARE FRAUDULENT THEY DID NOT HAVE THEIR NETWORK WORKING PROPERLY AND RESCHEDULED ME SEVERAL TIMES IN WHICH LED TO I'M SURE THEM LEAVING MY INFORMATION BEHIND SOMEWHERE OR LOSING IT IN THE SHUFFLE IN WHICH CASE IT IS NOT MY FAULT. I HAVE SEVERAL DOCUMENTS SHOWING THAT I EARNED THE SURVEY INCENTIVE. I ALSO HAVE DOCUMENTATION SHOWING THAT AFTER LEARNING OF MY GOING TO THE Revdex.com THEY ERASED MY RECORD ON THEIR SITE...WHICH WAS EVIDENCE. I WOULD LIKE TO BE PAID. I WOULD APPRECIATE IF YOU SPEAK WITH THESE PEOPLE BECAUSE THREE HUNDRED CAN EASILY TURN INTO TEN TIMES THAT IN LOSS REVENUE FOR THEM. I DID MY PART. THEY DID NOT UPHOLD THEIR CONTRACT AND ERASED EVIDENCE. I COMPLETED THE PHONE SURVEY ON MARCH 14 AND HAVE YET TO BE PAID. THEY RESCHEDULED ME SEVERAL TIMES. CHANGING MY CONFIRMATION NUMBERS BECAUSE THEIR SYSTEM WAS FAILING....SO I WAS TOLD. WHEN THE DAY FINALLY COMES AND I COMPLETE THE SURVEY I CALLED A FEW WEEKS LATER AND THEY HAD CHANGED THE DATES OF THE SURVEY. THE ENTIRE EXPERIENCE WAS WARPED FROM THE BEGINNING. THEY OWE ME MONEY AND IF THEY DIDN'T THEY WOULD NOT HAVE ERASED THINGS FROM MY ACCOUNT SIMPLY BECAUSE THEY HAD THE ACCESS TO DO SO...AND SUPPORT THEIR CASE.....ITS A BUNCH OF LIES. I WANT TO BE PAID. NO APOLOGY IS NECESSARY BECAUSE THEY KNOW WHAT THEY ARE TRYING TO DO IN MY OPINION..... MY MONEY IS WHAT I WANT OUT OF THIS. JUST AS THEY GOT WHAT THEY WANTED OUT OF ME.Desired Settlement: I WANT MY MONEY THEY OWE ME. THEY HAVE COMMITED THIS FRAUD BEFORE I SEE IT ON SEVERAL COMPLAINT SITES AND YOU ALL CONTINUE TO LET THEM DO THIS TO PEOPLE. PLEASE LET THEM KNOW THAT I WILL PURSUE THIS TO THE FULLEST EXTENT OF THE LAW. THEY SHOULD HAVE NEVER ERASED EVIDENCE. HOWEVER I HAVE THE EVIDENCE BEFORE THEY ERASED IT.....ONLY GUILTY PEOPLE WOULD DO SUCH THINGS...AND YOU HAD THE NERVES TO CLOSE THE CASE OUT. I WOULD APPRECIATE YOU NOT CLOSING THIS ACCOUNT UNTIL IT IS RESOLVED. THANK YOU. FAILING TO HONOR A CONTRACT IS NOT GOOD. ERASING EVIDENCE IS EVEN WORSE.

Response:

We had recruited [redacted] for an interview based on her qualifications as a Critical Care Nurse in March. This interview's topic was Liver Disease. When the first interview was set to take place, she did not attend. The interview was arranged so that the respondent, [redacted], was provided with a phone number to dial at her assigned time, which would bring her into contact with the person set to interview her. She did not call in at her scheduled time. As we understand that errors can happen, we rescheduled her for a second interview, but she did not dial in this time either. The fact that she did not call into her interview on either occasion was verified by our client who was conducting the interview. As she did not complete her part in this study, despite being given two opportunities to do so, she was not entitled to payment.

Review: Last weekend I was contacted by Michelle S[redacted] of [redacted] for a denture study to be held at Focus Pointe Global in [redacted] tomorrow, October 31st for senior citizens. Ms. S[redacted] informed me I qualified and would be paid $125 for an interview tomorrow at Focus Pointe Global. On October 28th I was contacted by Michelle and Cyndi B[redacted] who told me Focus Pointe Global does not want me to attend a session I qualified for and not to attend future research sessions. I was at Focus Pointe Global for a senior health focus group a few months ago and nothing out of the ordinary happened. Focus Pointe Global not only will not pay me the $125 I deserved but they ruined my reputation with [redacted] which they have NO right to do. I'm pretty sure [redacted] will never contact me again because of lies put forth by Focus Pointe Global. As a side note Focus Pointe Global in [redacted] literally threw my daughter out of her focus group a few years ago for no apparent reason.Desired Settlement: I could care less about Focus Pointe Global and their low-class company but they have no right whatsoever to withhold the $125 I earned through [redacted]. They also have no right to slander my name with other market research companies. I want the $125 that I was supposed to be paid and I will file complaints regarding this company until I get that... Focus Pointe Global actually informed me other market research companies can recruit me for studies to be held at FPG but that did not happen...

Focus Pointe Global has a clear Privacy Policy, Terms of Use and Bill of Rights

posted on our website, www.focusgroup.com.

You are urged to familiarize yourself with these documents as they are designed

to address all questions regarding membership and participation in our

marketing research projects.

Our policies are designed to protect our panel members,

and Focus Pointe Global, the hosting company.

Upon registration users are required to confirm that they have accepted our

Terms of Use.

Unfortunately, not everyone who registers to participate qualifies

for our research projects. Our clients dictate the parameters needed for a

particular study, with quotas being established for the needed demographics.

Depending on the requirements for a particular study, a panelist may not pass

the screening process. Additionally, there are times when a client changes the

parameters of a research project mid-way through the [redacted] process. This

can impact people who have already been scheduled for the project but are no

longer needed for participation as the quota requirements have changed.

It is not part of our policy, nor are we under any

obligation, to provide a detailed explanation as to why a participant may not

meet the criteria needed for our research studies. Please be assured that Focus

Pointe Global never denies participation due to race, ethnicity, disability,

country of origin, religion, or sexual orientation. We have already informed [redacted] that since she did not participate in the study she is not due payment. What's more, our clients dictate the parameters of their research studies, including who participates. I hope this explanation will put this issue to rest. Thank you,Charlotte D[redacted]Director of MarketingFocus Pointe Global

[To assist us in bringing this matter to a close, you must give us a reason why you are rejecting the response. If no reason is received your complaint will be closed Administratively Resolved] Review: [redacted]I am rejecting this response because: I was recruited by [redacted] for a study for those with full dentures. The recruiter promised me $150 and then all of a sudden I was cancelled and my payment was revoked because the study was taking place at "Focus Pointe Global." My payment would not have been revoked if this was held at a different facility. They have no right to withhold my payment. Again I was recruited by [redacted] not Focus Pointe Global. I want the $150 that I earned from [redacted]. I will speak with an attorney if Focus Pointe Global withholds money I was supposed to be paid with by [redacted]... Focus Pointe Global needs to provide me with a valid and accurate reason why I was not paid the $150...Regards,[redacted]

Review: I am a current survey panelist for their online survey website. I had accumulated 2900 points at which I was able to cash out for a $29.00 pre-paid [redacted] card. On 10/09/2014 I did just that and cashed out my points on their website. That same day I received a confirmation email stating to please wait 3-4 weeks for your reward to arrive. On 11/05/2014 I sent emails to both [email protected] & [email protected] (emails they ask you to send questions regarding account to) asking for an update for this card and that it was coming on 4 weeks and I still had not received it. The [email protected] email immediately came back undeliverable. I waited another week of not hearing back from them and on 11/10/2014 sent the exact same email asking for an update and still no response. Also, on the confirmation email I received it states that you can login to your account and check the status of this request but you cannot.Desired Settlement: I would like to receive my [redacted] card as soon as possible or an email stating that when I will receive it.

Response:

An email was sent to [redacted] from my company email at approximately 3:30 pm, with an apology for any delay in having his issue addressed, and the current status of the incentive that he had requested from his online account with Focus Pointe Global. His incentive request had been received by our company, and an email with information on how to access his incentive was sent to him on 10/10/14. I outlined for [redacted] the content of the email that was sent out to him previously, informed him of when it had been sent before, and then I resent him another copy of the email, so that he would be able to access his incentive. I closed my communication by asking him to please let me know if there was anything further that I could do to assist him, and informed him that I would be responding to his complaint on this site with my resolution.
