Forest Glory

I bought Forest Glory morels for my husband and a good friend (sorry, I'm not a fan of mushrooms) for Christmas gifts and they were both very happy. I made the purchase because of a referral from another friend and am so glad she shared F G site with me. My husband keeps saying how fresh they taste when rehydrated. If you like morels, you will love these!!!

Great way to have and use morel mushrooms year round. They have great flavor and I use the rehydrating liquid for soups or stock, I just keep a quart bag I the freezer then each time I rehydrate some to use, I drain the liquid into the bag. When I get 1/2 to 1 quart, I'll add to beef n Noodles or soup stock it's awesome!

I give these as Christmas presents, birthday presents etc. always a big smile on their faces when they open it up and see it's from Forest Glory! Love them myself!

Don't waste your time & money on these things! They are advertised to taste "exactly like fresh morels" when nothing could be further from the truth! I've hunted fresh morels the bulk of my 65 years & these things are inedible! I tried preparing them in several different ways & there is nothing anyone could do to make these things taste like anything but dirty cardboard!

I commend Forest Glory for the excellence of the morel mushroom shipment that I received last week. The large container had a good mix of small to very large morels -- a variety that I already used in two meals. I would also like to mention that my order was handled efficiently and it arrived without delay. I am sure to ask for another order when the one I have runs out, and have inquired if the family considered shipping fresh morels? I would certainly be a customer.

I do not do a lot of cooking because of the prep and cooking time. When I do cook, I like to make a lot of creative sauces for the meat, chicken or fish. I always use Forest Glory Morels as an essential ingredient in my sauces. The Morels are easy to rehydrate and cook. They taste great and are of very high quality. The Company is a pleasure to do business with, and I cannot recommend them more highly. You cannot go wrong with this Company or its products.

The dried morels I ordered are so delicious and in perfect condition...whole, various sizes, not broken pieces. We rehydrated for about 20 minutes and used them in a side dish with farro and artichoke hearts. Tasted as close to fresh as they possibly could.

Packaging is sturdy and shipping time was very reasonable. I received the free cookbook which was a fun bonus. Sent couple of questions via email and received prompt and complete responses.

First, I would like to say how pleased I am with the quality. I love morels and don't have the ability to hunt for them. This is ideal for me and tastes as fresh as I'd I picked them myself.
