First I received mailings from these people saying they would get me a year mortgage at a rate of 3.25% and skip mortgage payments, no out of pocket costs and my new payment would be $ 1,Upon calling Andy W [redacted] told me the best he could get me without out of pocket costs would be 3.75%and my monthly payments would be $Also a return of my current escrow balanceAs you can see this is nowhere near what was sent to me in the mailingHe called me back several times trying to sell me on thisI told him I wanted to see it in writing and I know that is required to be sent after days of receiving a quote which is what was done over the phoneThis was in the beginning of January that I requested thisThe last conversation with Andy he got real rude with me to the point when I told him I wanted to see it in writing that I hung up as this is poor business practiceHe told me sending me a quote was a waist of his timeI told him it was required by law

Today 2/29/I received a notice from Forthright Funding showing where my property was located, how much I owed on the mortgage and the amount of my new mortgage payment on a year fixed loan at 2.875% so I called them and spoke with a VA rep named [redacted] I was informed that I would be able to lower my interest rate and take advantage of the following benefits: year fixed at 2.875% (2.94% APR); no application or processing fees; absolutely no out of pocked costs; no income or asset verification and no appraisal needed That based on my loan amount of $136,my new payment would be $Then I specifically asked about the 2.875% and was told that was last weeks rate If the rates are changing that quickly, why are you sending out information that you know will be no good by the time the client receives it

I started and completed the process of refinancing my home with Forthright funding about months agoI dealt with a representative named Kaleb M [redacted] initially the our early conversation where good it seemed like he legitimately wanted to get me the best rate and deal Along the way he started showing inconsistencies with what he promised to provide to a point one day prior to closing on the refinance I didn't get any paperwork until late that nightI was supposed to pay $closing cost but in fact I was on the line to pay $ I was promised by Kaleb to sign the paperwork and he would take care of it and to call him once the title company was onsite Needless to say he didn't answer the phone and I paid the money out of pocket I felt that what he did was unethical and In my opinion he covered up the terms until the very last moment before closing and left me with a take it or leave it deal I had not paid my mortgage for that month and actually depended on this to work o

I was given information from this company when I refinanced my homeI was told my escrow balance would maintained by adding it on to the end of my loanMy escrow balance was not sufficient and was $3,shortI have no idea where the additional funds went but the tital company informed me the funds were sent to forthrightI have called and emailed Thomas Thyma our loan officer multiple times with no responseOur mortgage will be going up $a month until the deficit is paid and we cannot afford that at this timeI just want this resolvedNo one from forthright is working with me not even the CEO

I had received mailers from Forthright Funding in the past and had asked them to remove me from their mailing listThe first time was through the Revdex.com Reviews section and they claimed they did not have me on fileThe second time, on January 14th, 2016, I e-mailed them directly at *** *nd asked them to remove me from their listI just received another mailer from them todayI never received a reply from them acknowledging my request
In addition to not wanting this, they advertise in the mailer that Veterans may "skip two mortgage payments." This statement is not allowed to be stated on any source as is printed in the guidelines from the VA itself in VA Pamphlet 26-7, Revised, Current Issues, Topic 2.b Example #("It is irresponsible to suggest to any mortgagor that this program encourages skipping payments")
